  1. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>Schism was bored. It was a typical, almost everday, occurance. Everyone seemed to enjoy being habitual about their days, doing the same thing all of the time. Waking up, eating, working, eating again, working some more, eating, going to bed. Maybe they stopped for a quick game or to watch a show. Other than that, they were pretty stuck in their routine. Some even went so far as to be disturbed whenever it was interrupted. Others were even more obsessive about the fact that it had to be exact. They had to have the same sandwichues day in and day out, the same cereal, drinks, and go the same exact route that they had yesterday and would tomorrow. The mere idea annoyed her. Chaotic. That was the way that they had always described her. As being somewhat chaotic in nature, needing things to be abnormal and different every single day.

Today, though, most of the daredevils would say that she was taking unneccessary risks. Her butterfly wings were spread, eyes gazing down at the treacherous slopes that were a significant part of the landscape that she had decided to roam. She was crouched at the very tip of a rather large cliff that jutted out of the side of the mountain, looking down at the world in general, waiting for just the right moment to follow through with what she had said she was going to be doing. Had bragged to all of the other Sunhawk teens that she would do - and take pictures, too. There was a camera strapped around her neck and her wings were spread, waiting for the right wind. Which wasn't long in coming, as it began to rub against the thick skin that adorned her butterfly wings. Eyes flickered toward the sky, contemplatively, a deep breath inhaled. Here we go.

A final flick of her wrist was given that moved her to pull a woolen hat over her head, a black beanie that pressed her ears tight against her head. Shoving on a pair of dark sunglasses, the Sunhawk was ready. Dressed in typical winter gear for a tribeswoman, she looked quite trendy, if she could say so herself. She was wearing flaring dark blue jeans, along with dark hiking boots, and a warm dark red sweater that had the black symbol of a Sunhawk adorning the front. Here goes nothing. With that final thought, the pendragon thrust herself into empty air. Her wings expanded and snapped to keep her in the air, so that she didn't descend to become a splattered mess on the pristine sides of the mount. The camera was angled so that she took a quick picture of her grinning face, highlighted by the lightning-accented clouds behind her. Some would say she was a fool for being out in this kind of weather.

And those pendragons were probably right.

  2. ooc: My dear lass, um...you ran off and forgot to post a time stamp.

    bic:

Out of the shadow that was casted by the huge mountain side comes a fairly large 'dragon covered in a light blue fur. He lifts his one red glowing eye up to the sun that was attempting to break away at the shadow. Shakes his head lightly and skips down the side a bit getting to a point to where he could begin his scaling once more. Licks his maw a bit of the moisture that collected on his face from the frost mountain air. Shakes his head slowly and release a growl leaping up towards the ridge once more. Taking his claws and driving them into the rock side with ease as he scales it easily. Comes to the ledge of the ridge then releases himself from it, just hanging there by a hand for a short few looking out at the terran before flipping himself upon to the ridge.

Lowers down to a kneeling position on the ridge and slides his hand up over his mane slowly scanning for his next route up the side of the mountain. Stands back up after a few moments of being there at a rest then turns his attention back to the rock face. Approaches it slowly and places his hand against a soild stone before placing his foot upon one below it. Grits his teeth together and reaches his other hand up taking hold a rock higher up, beginning his accent of the rockface. Why the hell would those pain-in-the-ass herbs grow all the way up here? Why couldn't they be some place tropical or something?! He thought to himself releasing a sigh then begins scaling once more.

ooc: Well, now you can go and cause this messup to cause the two to meet. You know like have your Schism lose control and crash into Fe'shi as he is climbing or something. :P

  3. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1><font color=gray>out of character</font>

Ach, I knew I'd forgotten something. How does the 1st of Tria sound to you and Fe'shi? :]

    <font color=gray>in character</font>

Her wings beat heavily to maintain the proper altitude, seeing as there weren't enough warm thermals to keep her up there by themselves. The air was also moist, which wasn't good for the type of aerial appendages that she owned. Thus it was truly a feat of either bravery or stupidity that drove her to fly over the edge. Some would say it was a touch of both, though she knew it was merely courage that drove her. The elements, after all, were at her command and the sorceress wasn't against using them if she had to in order to save her life. That wouldn't happen, though. The Sunhawk member was completely safe where she was. That was, up until the point when a bolt of lightning crashed way too close to where she was flying. The sizzling electricity caused her hair to stand on end and also happened to halt her movement for a scarce second - but it was enough.

Curses, now I'm going to have to find a place to land. It was far more serious than her thoughts would suggest, though. She was hurtling toward a solid rock face and the idea of slamming into one of those - even at a decelerated rate - wasn't a good one. There was a figure on the Mountain, though... no. She wasn't about to fall right on somebody, even to save herself. Because that might result in both of them falling to their deaths. Schism cursed again, mentally, then began to fall more steadily, the winds tossing her toward her unintended target - the male who was climbing. It didn't take long and the impact was brief. She had purposefully moved herself so that it would only be a glancing blow against his side, before she began to fall. Or would have, if she hadn't grabbed the rocky face with her clawed hand and gripped it with all of her might.

<font color=gray>"Sorry about that, mate."</font> Schism said, averting her eyes in apology.

  4. Fe'shi lifted his eye up suddenly as he was scaling the rockface. Eye widen as another 'dragon was approaching him at a increasing rate. Turns his eye away sinks his claws into the rock as she collided with him causing him to release a gasp. Fe'shi turned his eye to the female as she dangled there hanging onto a rock then apologizes to him. Glares up her for a short moment then turns his eyes away releasing his claws from the rock face, going on up. "I don't need any apologies." He spoke coldy as he continued up.

Turns his eye back to her for one last moment noticing the rock that was giving away at her hand. His eye opens wide and watches as it comes out of the wall. In a reaction to this Fe'shi released himself from the rockface as she fell. He dived after her extending his arm placing it about her waist gently. Slips his eye closed and reached his free hand up above himself. Seconds before they struck the ground, the two of them brusted into a puff of smoke and reappeared over a hot spring somewhere off into the mountain range then fell into it.

Comes back to the surface holding the girl in his arms. Opens his eye up and looks down upon her for a short moment then looks up towards the smoke that was fading away. Licks his lips a bit of water then looks back down upon the girl, reaching his hand out, lifting her face up to his. Looks into her eyes and glares a bit. "Are you alright...my lady?" He questioned her slipping his hand over her cheek gently then lowered his eye away, releasing her a bit.

  5. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>Well, he could at least have been polite about not needing any apologies. Instead, his voice had to be cold and it made the words themselves seem insincere. A choice finger was temporarily flicked in his direction, her attention focused entirely on Fe'shi for an angry moment. Some pendragons simply didn't seem to understand things like this. It wasn't as if Schism had chosen to fall into him. As a matter of fact, she had tried not to hit the stranger. It was something that she hadn't been able to control. Sure, she could have caused herself to disappear or something with sorcery, but she hated to waste power. There was no reason for it in this instance, seeing as it wasn't as if she was going to harm him. Maybe he would have a bruise, but that was about the sum of his injuries.

Because she wasn't even paying attention to what was going on with her hand - presuming, incorrectly, that it would remain where it was - the sorceress was unaware that it was about to make her plummet toward the bottom of the mountain. As the rock she was holding gave way, the tribeswoman gave a started look, though it didn't last long, seeing as the fall toward the ground wasn't something she could just let happen. The magic-wielding maid had to do something to keep from dying. As Fe'shi dived after her, the sorceress cursed under her breath, annoyed as he gripped her around the waist. That would have been all fine and good if she hadn't had two things working for her - her magic and her wings. The latter were now unable to maintain any sort of flight, seeing as there was extra, unanticipated weight, and no uplifting thermal that might make the second pendragon a possibility to carry. As for her magic-

The thought was cut off short as they disappeared, Schism's skin crawling as they reappeared over a hot spring, then fell into that, instead of onto the ground. Admittedly it was a preferable scenario to the one prior where they would have died, but the fact that Fe'shi was still holding her wasn't regarded with much rejoicing. Seeing as he hadn't been all that friendly earlier. Besides, now she was soaked, and on an icy mountain. Though her clothing was waterproof, some had leaked in around the collar of her shirt, and she would have to remove it all to let the inside dry out. Something she wasn't inclined to do with the climber around. As he lifted her chin, the tribe member tried to keep from glaring flat out at him, seeing as he probably thought he had just saved her life. Hah, he would soon learn differently. The question was regarded with a quirked eyebrow. You have got to be kidding me.

<font color=gray>"I'm fine, if you don't include being soaked in some unknown hot spring in the middle of the Nyonge Range with some stranger."</font> Schism replied with a heated glance. <font color=gray>"Other than that, just peachy."</font>

  6. He quirked a brow at her bluntness then removed his arm from about her waist turning his eye away from. Shakes his head a bit and walks up out of the water slowly dropping down on the chilled artic floor of the hidden cavern. Sighs lightly and reaches his hand up sliding it over his hair slowly then draws back his hand looking up it at blood. Closes his red eye then slams his fist into the ground. Maybe I should have just let her alone and let fate take it's course. Smirked lightly at the thought then shook his head once more chilling ever so slightly.

Reaches his hand up to the base of his neck and removes the ashen colored hair tie letting his black mane, hang down about his face. Runs his other hand through it a bit rubbing here and there of the water. Lifts his eye back up looking over at the female then away once more. "Sorry if it was a mistake on my behalf to catch you." He spoke gritting his teeth a bit as the dark scars about his right arm burned and released energy. Shakes his head a bit then winces swing out his arm then places it into the spring. It swelled and bulked up slightly then relaxed after a few moments.

Sighs softly in relief then brings his arm back out of the water rubbing the scars about his right arm. Lifts his eye back up and looked upon Schism for a short few then looks away once more. "If you want me to, I can look over your body for any injuries that I might have caused you." He spoke softly moving back from the water edge then leans back against a rock. Thinks to himself about the events that took place a few moments ago. Glares upon the thoughts then shakes his head slowly looking over at the demi fires that burned off in the corners and near the center of the hotspring on a platform. Closes his hand into a fist then leans his head back against the rock he leaned against. "If tis mean anything to you, my lady. I'm sorry about earlier, being a gjekc." Fe'shi spoke trying to make amends with the salsa female.

  7. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>Schism never was one to soften the blow and the fact that he removed his arm was one that pleased the Sunhawk. She wasn't the sort to get snuggly and comfortable with a person very easily and the touch of a stranger had been rather unwelcome. Though it would seem that the male was unaware of his own transgressions, so far as the headstrong magic-wielder was concerned. For he had drawn away only because of her snappiness, not for any other reason. It would seem he didn't understand what she had meant. Maybe it wasn't obvious but her wings were quite capable of softening the blow of feet and ground enough to make it a reasonable landing. That was even without magic and she had a few tricks up her sleeve that might have saved her the trouble of a jarring landing. Earlier, had been mere convenience that led her to land where she had, rather than wasting power. It wasn't that she couldn't it was a choice that she had made.

The comment was regarded with a snort, though she watched the fall of his mane about his face with vague interest. It highlighted his features in a rather interesting fashion, if you asked Schi'. A manner that made her want to grin randomly and pounce on him. Maybe it made him seem softer, more innocent, somehow. At least to her. Earlier he had looked like some escaped convict, at least if you asked the tribe member. At the moment there was a more vulnerable touch to the natural way that his hair fell, the gentle way that it accented everything about the way that he looked. Even the fact that he had one eye didn't dissuade the feeling of trustworthiness that surrounded the other. The thought made her snap out of it. Since when had a Sunhawk even considered trusting another on the first meeting? The answer was never and it would stay that awy.

Her eyes narrowed considerably at the offer, though she allowed them to expand back to a normal position rather quickly, realizing the kindly intent of his question. It wasn't meant to be a rude gesture, but, rather, one that attempted to kindle the fires of friendship. Not that she desired anyone for a comrade. <font color=gray>"No... thanks."</font> The tribal member replied, calming down slightly from her prior moodiness. Truly she had no clue what had happened to her manners. Though she had never owned them before, it had been a sincere attempt to save her life that sent the male before her spiraling down to save her life. Which didn't mean that she was going to apologize for her waspish behavior. No, it was rare that Schism did such a thing, and even earlier, it was strange that she had said "sorry". It was likely to be the last time that Fe'shi heard the words pass her lips.

  8. Fe'shi listened to her words as she spoke and just returned to her with head nods as answers. Reaches his hand up and slides it along the scared over eye then relaxes lightly drawing his hand back. A silver tint emitted from his eye as he looked over towards the ever burning flame. Smirks lightly upon it then rests his hand at his waist. Lowers his eye away from the flame return it to the red color from before as he reached to his side pouch that was no bigger than a fannie pack. Draws his hand along the button clipping about the top of it opening the blasted thing.

Reaches into the pouch then draws out some dried meat and a hunk of cheese that he brought along with himself on the climb. Licks his lips lightly and takes nibbling bite off the cheese then a big one off the meat. Leans his head back chewing upon the two slowly, and fully before swallowing the small amounts. Closes his eye slowly and takes another bite of the meat as he continued on eatting and relaxing. Listens to the sound of the cave, coming from the sound of dripping ceiling to the sound of burning and cracking flames.

Opens his eye after a short while and looks over at Schism out the corner of his eye, offering a piece of the meat to her. "You can have some if you want it. But if not...",he spoke taking another bite of the meat then cheese. Sighs softly and slips what little bit of the cheese and meat back into his pouch closing it up. His hand was still out stretched with the dried meat in it, offering to Schism.

  9. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>The tribeswoman was rather independent in nature and the fact that she was stuck here with the male wasn't in the slightest bit pleasing. Because she wasn't used to the company of those she didn't know and tended to get a bit irritated if she was stuck with just them. There wasn't even any wildlife to distract her attention. Just Fe'shi. Which meant that it would be rude to just stand up and start wandering off. She couldn't even ask if he would like to go on a walk, seeing as she wasn't sure how to get out of here, or where to go once she had exited the cave.

Yet it would seem she had no choice, so she had better make the best out of it. At least she had worn waterproof clothing that had kept her from becoming completely soaked. Yet she had an array of messy, wet locks that surrounded her eyes, now, and were getting on her nerves as they tumbled rather gracelessly into her vision. Fingers reached around her wrist, taking a loop of brown hide off of where it had been wrapped as a bracelet. Untying it, she quickly maneuvered her hair into a ponytail, tying it off with the strip. At least that solved one problem. Though there were still other ones to consider.

Schism glanced at Fe'shi as he spoke, eyes shifting to the food as he offered it. The Sunhawk wasn't particularly hungry, but it was a polite offer. Thus she gave a slight smile in response, considering the proper response. While she could just blow him off, that might insult the man, who had done nothing to deserve such a thing. Even if it was a bit annoying that he had to go and play knight in shining armor on her instead of giving her the benefit of the doubt as far as saving herself went. Then again, what if she hadn't been a sorceress? She would have been dead. That was what would have happened.

    <font color=gray>"No, that's alright. I've got my own."</font> The spitfire female replied.

  10. Fe'shi nodded to her choice on the matter of taking the jerky from him then slips it back into his puch with the rest of his goods. Licks his lips lightly and gets up from where he sat then reaches his hand up once more then rubs it about his wet hair slowly. Drows it back to his side then lowers his eye to the ground thinking to himself for a short moment before turning his eye back to the female, Schism. Looks upon her form as his eye drifted up and down then back to her face. Nods to her then looks away once more. "If you are ready to get out of here, just let me know and I will lead you to the enterances. Then we can go our ways if you wish." He spoke taking a step away from the hotspring taking hold if a rock that lead to the path.

Leaps up upon the boulder then drops off of it to the other side lowering his eye to the ground. Once on the other side of the boulder, Fe'shi leaned back against it thinking to himself as he did. How could he have made such a mistake in rescuing that female? Did he really expect her to have any magic abilities at all? But really it was a chance to do something that he has never done before in his life, be a kind of hero. Shakes his head lightly at all of this thought then closed his eye awaiting the sound of Schism voice when she was good a ready to speak to him about getting out of this hotspring.

  11. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>Sunhawk rolled her shoulders slightly, allowing her body to move slightly so that she didn't cramp up from having been in one position too much. She was careful not to so much as glance at Fe'shi, still being a bit irritated by his daring rescue. Obviously he had attempted to be prince charming, but it hadn't been impressive. Indeed, the independent female had been insulted. Not everyone had magical powers, though, and it wasn't kind of her to be so angry at him for doing such a thing as saving her life. As he began to speak, however, she looked at him again, eyes quizzical, then widening slightly as he moved out of sight behind a boulder. Well, obviously she had insulted him or something. Tough luck, if he thought she was going to apologize or something because he had gone all huffy.

It was true that she had been discourteous, though. If the Sunhawk leader heard of this, he would be quite sure to discipline her. Would be embarrassed that she had reacted in such a way to her hero of sorts. A savior should be given many thanks, not scorned as if he had done something terrible. She knew it was what they would all say. Because they were bound to hear about it. Scowling, the female pendragon followed Fe'shi slowly, walking over to join him. With a brief sigh, she wiped her face clean, putting on a slight smile. He had better appreciate this, because it was very un-Schism.

<font color=gray>"That was rude of me, earlier. You were only doing what you thought was right. How about we try this again."</font> Schism tilted her head, then offered her right paw. <font color=gray>"'allo, I'm Schism Sunhawk and you are?"</font>

  12. Fe'shi winced a bit and leaned back against the boulder looking out at the ground as he awaited the sound of his company to follow over the massive rock. Slides his tongue over his lips a bit and lifts his eyes up looking to the cave wall glaring as he did. Slips his hands back along his mane meeting the base of it. Takes the piece of thin cloth in his hand then ties it about the end of his mane, making it into a ponytail.

Clears his throat shortly after Schism came over the boulder and looked at him. His red eye gazed into hers for a short moment. Glares a bit then takes hold of her hand after speak of her name and showing greetings. "Fe'shi Wong...," he spoke drawing his hand back from hers then shifts his eye away from hers moving past. Wanders down the hollowed walkway leading the female and himself out of the spring. Lowers his eye to the ground and shakes his head as he continued to walk.

Glares a bit and slips his eye closed as he continues to move. Thinks back on the events that took place recently with him and Schism. He catching her and causing this entire mess from the beginning and such. Shakes his head once more then lifts his eye back up looking to where he was walking to as he went on.

  13. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>At least the male was going to act somewhat courteous toward the tribeswoman. He took her hand and that was all that the pendragon was going to ask for. After all, if she was him, she doubted that forgiveness would have been easy. Then again, she would have left as soon as her company started acting rude. Definitely wouldn't have led them out of the caves. Then again, who was to say that this was truly what the so-called Fe'shi Wong was going to do? After all, the male could very well lead her deeper into the cavern and get her miserably lost. Either that or he could attempt to rape her, but the idea was foolish. Schism was a capable defender with magic - just as good at it as she was at offense, which was pretty darn good. That was why she had been given Mastery. The Tribes were no fools when it came to naming those who had honed their abilities masterfully.

Yet after he had spoken his name, the male didn't continue speaking. The Sunhawk was rather unimpressed by his lack of courtesy after the initial greeting, but that was his business. The woman merely shifted her wings slightly and followed him, face carefully expressionless as she moved. Fe'shi seemed like an odd one, perhaps the silent type. Which meant it was probably better that she was permitting him his little grudge. If that was, indeed, what stilled his lips. Because there were some who just couldn't let things go. Of course she was one of them and proud of it. It was hard for her to release whatever emotion she felt, though, in general, Schism ended up with more friends than enemies. Ultimately it was better to have comrades that outweighed her adversaries, which was why she had more of the former than the latter. Though it was fun to have some not-so-friendly rivals. Because otherwise things would get boring fast.

Really, though, she had no opinion of Wong. She just wanted to get out of this spring and be somewhere else that she could simply relax and do whatever she wanted. Like, maybe, go flying again. Without heroic males who believed her incapable of saving herself. And people said that chivalry was dead.

At the moment, Schism wished it was.

  14. Fe'shi comes to a stop at the start of a staircase. Glares a bit with his one eye then turns his attention back to Schism for a short moment. Shakes his head a bit and continues on walking. Go up the stairs unsure if he should go and waste his time to tell the sweet tribe woman. Sighs lightly and climbs the stairs and stops for a moment looking to the ground.

Kneels down and sweeps his hand across the step and gets back up moving past the step without touching it. Continues up and lowers his eye relaxing a bit as he moved. "As long as you are here...can you be a bit more trust worthy with me?" He spoke as he continued on walking up ahead of her. Licks his lips lightly and curls his hands into fists as he continued to climb.

  15. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>Oh, great, stairs. Schism's favorite thing in the world! Actually, the tribal pendragon greatly preferred going down stairs, rather than ascending them. Because she was always bouncing into places she wasn't supposed to be, which were usually underground, rather than being the highest level of any given place. Wincing slightly, she walked none the less, hating the feeling of this carved path with all of her soul, though it wasn't the journey itself she despised. Rather, she hated why she had to take it.

She nearly ran into Fe'shi as he stopped. Instead she held short on the step below him, glaring at his sudden halt. What the hell did he need now? So he wanted to kneel down. Well, that was just great. Couldn't he do it later, though, when he wouldn't be halting her own continued movement? She really did hate being on stairs, especially with a stranger like this bloody male that she was currently stuck with. His words caused her to snort out loud, staring at his back as if he had just told her to jump off a bridge.

<font color=gray>"Trustworthy? What the hell do you expect me to do to show you that, ey? Start batting my eyes prettily and acting like some twit? Well forget it. Because if that's what you want, you might as well give up. There isn't much more trustworthy to me than this, bucko."</b></font> Sunhawk replied with a scathing twitch of her tail, though he wouldn't have seen it. After all, he, the ever-mature one, was still scaling the stairs.

  16. Fe'shi turns his attention back to her and throws his hand out as a darkness built in his eye. "Would it have been any better if I was that of one of your damn Clansmen?! Would that make you happy you ungreatful bitch!" He roared aloud to her. Shook his head in anger and dashed up the staircase exiting into that of the hallway. Continues on running and puts distances between him and that stubborn female of a 'dragon. Shakes his head a bit and clinches his chest as the darkness in his eye died down and became relaxed once more. Shakes his head slowly and winces in pain as his heart raced from the rise in his Lore. Sighs softly and moves away from the wall walking on ahead without thinking another thing of Schism.

"If she thinks that she can get out of here better on her own then I really don't see any reason to hang around. To hell with her." He spoke casting the torch he held in his hand off into the gorge. Causing everything to be consumed into darkness once more.

  17. <font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=#330000 face=georgia size=1>Bloody hell. So the "gentleman" was going to turn around and pretend he was all tough, was he? Well, it wasn't as if the Sunhawk cared. She merely snorted disdainfully and ignored his unward rush to be away from her. If he was going to be so stubbornly set on the idea that she was untrustworthy - and was unaccepting of the way she worked - then Schism was better off without him, anyway. Claws clicked against the stairs as she moved, watching the darkness warily. A dainty flick of her wrist and a ball of fire appeared above her palm. There was certainly a lot too see down here. It wasn't hard to follow the stairs and she would be out in no time. Sunhawk was infamous among the Twelve Tribes for her ability to find her way out of seemingly impossible predicaments.

She sighed lightly. The tribal pendragon had been a bit rude to Fe'shi Wong. It wasn't as if he hadn't deserved it, though! Such a bloody pain in the arse, anyway, that she was better off without him. Schism was used to traveling alone. Without another thought for the strange male, she grabbed a piece of jerky out of her pocket and began chewing methodically, making her way out of this hellhole with ease born of long practice.
