Timestamp: 32 Tria 81381 (Night) Who: Nailo Wearing: Nailo: Black robe with hood that covers most of his face and with black gloves. A dark figure walked the dense swamp, with nothing but a grin on his face. Beside him were two daemons that resembled dog like features but had a vicious look to them. Where is this temple?!... In this journal it says the temple of Kamathra would be in Manik SwampÂ… Well, IÂ’m here but I donÂ’tÂ… He looked off into the distance of the swamp, there was a village and was full of life. The figure made an even bigger grin on his face. Time to see, if these folk knowÂ… and plus, I could go for the entertainment anyways.
Ooc:Baalberith wearing his black and red suit. With his energy rifle and his knife. Ic: Baal was glad to be back to his home village everything still smelled new from the rebuilding after the attack so many years ago. The tutor for daemon and darkness lore seemed capable, looks like we wont have another massacre by daemons. He walked down the street into the outskirts trying to remember where the last fight started after a few minutes he came to a small grassy field with a rock in the middle. A strange feeling was in the air something that stirred the daemon that he was joined to. "What's this then." He called while bright red lightning crackled around him infusing him with power beyond the norm.
Who: Gyethym Wearing: Black pants Gyethym watched both figures closely, wondering which one was Nailo. Hmm...knowing Nailo, he's probably over there. Gyethym started to jump, but lightening crackled from the other figure. Without thinking Gyethym pounced, slamming into the figure and jumping back before he was seen. I won't let him get away. Not this time, he thought, and lunged again.
Nailo looked behind him and saw Gyethym slammed into someone. Dah! Him again. He soon disappeared into black smoke and reappeared in the village. He looked around and then he summoned five more of those daemon dogs and ordered them to attack the village. “Now, this is entertainment!" He sat down on some crates and watched the village going in chaos.
As Baal tumbled to the ground he glanced at his village smoke pouring out. Not again it shouldn't happen again, heh they'll last until I get there. He looked around the clearing the smell of daemons satuated the whole area but more was coming from the village. "Whoever you are I have no time for this I have a village to save from daemons. So can we settle this at another time?" He didn't wait for an answer, Baal sprinted into the burning village a smile on his face. The villagers were doing well daemon corpses littered the ground and the daemon lore master was screaming arcane words. There was only one thing missing the summoner, it didn't take long for him to find Nailo. He slowed his breathing sighting his target carefully right between the eyes but just as Baal pulled the trigger Nailo said something, the blue beam ripped his targets left ear clean off knocking him down from his perch. Before Nailo had even hit the ground Baal was there with a knife at his throat. "So mind telling me why you attacked here?" Baal was ignoring the urges from his benefactors to rip Nailo's head off. You'll have to wait until I get some answers.
Gyethym watched Baal go. Save the village? Damn it! I've wasted time! Gyethym dropped down to all fours sprinting through the swamps. He saw Nailo hit the ground and the takula hold a knife up to his throat. "Careful, he's got quite a few tricks up his sleeve." Gyethym said quietly, glaring at Nailo. He turned and threw a knife at a nearby daemon dog. It screamed as the poison entered its blood stream, making it delirious. It started attacking its own kind, rather than the villagers. Gyethym grabbed his knife and put it back in its sheath on his hip, glaring at Nailo ocne more, wondering what he'd do.
Nailo laughed. “You better listen to him… oh, by the way." Nailo raised his hand and waved it back and forth. “Bye…" after he said that to Baal, his body turned into a puff of smoke. In the dense swamp he grabbed a villager during the raid when everyone was busy with the mess he caused and tortured him to tell him the location of the temple of Kamathra. After, he got his answer he dropped the villager on the ground, barely alive. He headed in the direction of the temple and found it. “Well, time to get what I came for…"
"Gah! Damn you I should have ripped his bloody head off when I had the chance!" He walked over to a villager lying on the road, holding the poor soul up Baal saw the pain clearly on his face. Half an hour later Baal had left the village and the villager was dead. So the temple is where he's headed, still I know all the shortcuts. I'll be waiting for you but I will bring some friends too, they sooo want to meet you Nailo. It didn't take long for Baal to reach the temple and found a good spot naturally hidden and with a few incantations he was completely undetectable. He summoned his benefactors, seven giant humanoid scorpions appeared each finding a place to hide waiting for they're prey to take dead or alive to their dark realm. They were the most powerful daemons in the realm nothing could beat them. Baal was eager to get this over with he hated giving them an excuse to be on the material plane still they would only take orders from himself.
Nailo walked but when he got closer to the temple, the stronger smell of daemons. “Daemons? But how... oh, He's eager to catch me… or kill me." He summoned a daemon that was a biped and was the same height as Nailo. Nailo removed his black robe and told the daemon to put it on and walk it the center of the clearing in front of the temple. The Daemon did as he said. Nailo some how without be detected slipped into the temple.
Baal stayed still as the Nailo walked into the clearing. To of the seven daemons charged him slashing and ripped the figure apart, Baal watched the whole scene noticing that the blood wasn't the right colour. Baal was swept mentally by the sudden disappointment two daemons were feeling. I knew it would be that easy, damn him he's probably inside already. Baal quickly told five of the daemons to enter the temple and leave two outside to patrol. Baalberith himself went slowly in setting up a position on top of a archway close the the entrance. You won't get out of this temple alive, if you do my benefactors will take you instead.
Nailo walked till he came upon the Rune of Kamathra, without hesitation he grabbed the rune and stuck it into one of his pocket, then he turned towards the exit. There were the five daemons on top of him, but he managed to teleport once more but only at the entrance. “That was a close one…"
For a reason Baal wasn't quite sure of he felt pleased that Nailo had appeared in his sights. He changed the settings of his rifle so that it was no longer silent, after all any worthy opponent deserved to hear they're deaths. Baal sent a message to the daemons to meet him at the entrance. "So this is it Nailo say goodbye to the material plane and hello to the abyss." Baal muttered as he lined up the diamond shaped cross-hair. He smiled as he pulled the trigger, even more as he saw the left side of Nailo's head explode to the sound of a loud crack. Within seconds the daemons were there to take their prize away for decades of torture. To drag what was left of Nailo through his own tainted black blood and into a fiery portal. Goodbye Nailo enjoy your stay there.
Gyethym hid in the trees, watching the two patrolling daemons warily. Just get in, grab the rune before they find it, and get out. He thought, tensing as one of the demons looked at his hiding place. As soon as it turned away, Gyethym shot across the ground, into the temple before anyone knew he was there. He saw the side of Nailo's head explode and leapt forward, grabbing the rune and diving to one side as five more of the daemons pounced. "Damn, they're fast." He muttered, holding the rune tightly as he studied Nailo. I have to get out of here before they notice me He looked toward the back, but the only way out was blocked by those daemons. Wonderful.
Baal quickly jumped down from his spot and walked over to the daemons. "Right you have your prize now you can leave this world be, as part of our agreement once the deed is done you should leave, so go!" The daemons had gathered around Baal as he shouted clacking their pincers digesting his words. He had no control over them but neither did they have control over him, so in the end it was their own choice to stay or leave. After a short while they walked over to a corner dragging Nailo with them, red circles appeared on the ground from which swirls of flame flew from orbiting them then suddenly a white flash filled the room. The daemons were gone to their realm and Nailo with them. "Well at least he's gone now forever I hope. Still they'll heal him to torture him to near-death before healing him once again, heh an eternity of pain fitting for one so..... tainted. And you can come out now I wont hurt you." In the dark realm Nailo was chained to a stalactite his life was returned to him and so the torture began.....
Gyethym watched, uneasy, as the daemons disappeared, taking Nailo with them. The takula's voice snapped him out of it, and Gyethym straightened, still wary. "I wasn't hiding from you." Gyethym thought breifly about making a run for it, but decided not to. "Can't help thinking of what he was like before he was tainted." Gyethym said, mostly to himself. He turned and held out a hand, giving the takula a wicked grin. "Name's Gyethym, sorry I attacked you earlier. Thought you were him." He tilted his head toward the corner where Nailo'd disappeared.
"It doesn't matter you just made a mistake. Baal smiled for the first time today. "You are correct about thinking of what he was before this but, we shall never know. I just hope that there is some good in him if not then he truly deserved his fate. With that he took off his rifle and polished it a few times.
