Timestamp: 17th of Dyo, 81380. Late evening. Who: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=1144Edapona Where: Level 9 and room #9003 The shiny blue Khell, Edapona, looking far less frazzled than she actually was lurked quietly to her room. That fact was the only thing that kept her in control. She didn't have much farther to go. Her tiny hand slid into her bag producing the key which she held out infront of her face as she closed her eyes kissing the key, "Ahh sweet peace!" she said almost too loud, since her voice rang down the hallway. She placed her hand over her mouth and she quickly opened the door stepping in. She took a deep breath and sat down on the ground right there as she exhaled in relief, "So many dragons here... I don't know that I'll make it out of here with my sanity..." the petite empath leaned back against one side of the door way and rested his arms on the tops of her knees. Eda rested her head on her arms sighing deeply. "Couldn't they have just punished me there? Why send me to this place..." she trailed off as she squeezed her knees a little tighter as her tail swished solemnly on the floor.
OOC: Who – http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=1138Razonarl Clothing – Black collared shirt and light brown slacks, no shoes. A soft humming sounded down a hallway on the ninth floor as a lift came down. Soon the humming stopped and a small ding sounded just before the doors opened to let the passengers off. One of which was Razonarl. After stepping off the lift, he glanced at a paper the receptionist gave him with his room number on it. He had also received a packet of information about classes and other essential information, which he had stuffed into his pack to read later. After wandering down a few different hallways he finally found a door that matched the number he’d been given. Taking out the key out of his pocket, he stuck it into the door and… it wouldn’t turn. Frowning Raz jiggled the handle a bit, but it still wouldn’t turn. He took the key out, and looked at it, as if he might be able to spot a defect on the key. Not that he’d be able to do anything about it if he could find something. Raz decided to try it one more time, gently he inserted the key and closing his eyes he almost prayed that it would work. He gave the key a turn and… it didn’t budge. Raz groaned softly, then banged his head on the door. All he wanted to do was unpack and go sleep. But no! Now he had to go back to the office and tell them that the key didn’t work, and who knew how long it would take for them to figure out what was wrong? Mumbling under his breath, Razonarl turned away from the door and started back towards the lift.
Edapona lifted her head as she heard the humming reverberate down the hall. She didn't bother getting up but crawled over to the door and peeked out. Her eyes widened and she stood up quickly clearing her throat, "You wouldn't happen to be following me now would you?" she said softly as she glided on over to the room looking at the door for a moment before looking back to Razonarl, "No need to be frustrated... I can see what I can do... or... if I can't you could always stay in the spare bed. I've got a whole room to myself." she shrugs some as one end of her gray scarf slipped from her right shoulder, leaving it hang now just around the back of her neck. She again looked at the door and compuslively smoothed her hair yet again.
Raz paused in midstride when he heard a door click open nearby. Turning slightly, he looked over his shoulder to see the khell from before. Â… Edapona? He thought as he raised one eyebrow, it was odd that they should meet twice in one day. Turning around fully, Razonarl bent over to set down his suitcase and pack so he could talk with her unhindered and blushed quietly when she suggested that he might be stalking her, the red tinge easily showing through the white fur of his muzzle. Straightening up Raz tried to hide his embarrassment with one paw, then he remembered EdaÂ’s ability to sense what he was feeling and instead brushed his paw through his short blue hair and scratched the back of his head as he chuckled softly. Can I ever be around her without feeling like an out of place Nioti? Raz quickly stopped that line of thought as he listened to EdaponaÂ’s suggestion and turned his mind toward contemplating it. At first, his blush returned as he briefly thought of a possible implication, but shook his head quietly to rid that thought as quickly as it had come. ThatÂ’s obviously not what she was suggesting! Idiot! He yelled at himself in his mind, RazÂ’s tail-flame flashed with his sudden anger at himself, and settled just as quick. His eyes turned back to Eda and while he didnÂ’t mean to, he stared at her. Almost as if it was the first time he was truly seeing her, and while he stared he seriously considered her offer. Â… StillÂ… it would be better than sleeping in the hallwayÂ… Â… Having reached a decision Raz finally spoke. "Well, I donÂ’t want to impose." He paused for just an instant, considering things briefly once more, then continued. "I dont know if the office is closed yet, and I don't know my way around here that well yet, so I wouldn't mind the company, I mean, if you'd like to come with me that is. And if they're closedÂ… I don't think I'll have much choice but to take you up on your offer." Raz finished with a half smile and stuck his hands into his pockets, trying, and failing, to appear nonchalant.
She raised a brow as Razonarl's emotions bounced all over the spectrum and she quirked a brow at him, "Well it would just be for the night, I can imagine you are about as exhausted as I am. Besides it's not like I plan on taking advantage of you or anything." She paused a moment and placed her hand to her cheek as she thought about what she said Oh, it did sound a little off... perhaps I was too eager with my offer? she though a bit more and shook her head quickly Nonsence... I was just being polite she assured herself. Edapona shrugs some, "But if you'd rather lug everything all the way back there and here again... I won't stop you. You could just as easily go in the morning after a good nights rest." She nodded and smiled comfortingly as she thought about her next words, after all she didn't want to completely dextroy her reputation in this place. One might never know with all the people attending the Academy, when a dragon would see one another again.
Raz paused when the khell quirked an eyebrow at him, his tail slowly sweeping the floor behind him, its flame causing some light blue shadows to dance upon one side of the 'dragon's frame then the other. As Eda began to talk, the young farmer began to nod in agreement at this statement, he was tired, but then Edapona continued. Raz coughed once at the unexpected statement and raised an eyebrow at the small, blue furred khell. She had stopped talking, and seemed to be contemplatingÂ… something. Razonarl didn't have EdaponaÂ’s skill, or gift, in discerning another's feelings. But if he had to guess, based on body language, he'd say that she was dealing withÂ… some doubt? But that didn't seem like Eda. As if to prove that point she quickly shrugged off whatever was bothering her and turned back to Raz and gave him a rather good reason for just staying the night. His gaze turned down towards his suitcase and pack and pondered upon what she had said. HmmmÂ… no, I don't want to lug my stuff back n' forth all night. Turning his sea green eyes back upon the powder-blue furred khell he saw her smiled nicely. It seemed sincere, but Raz didnÂ’t have a clue as to what she was smiling about, unless it was to reassure himÂ… The white furred, blue haired 'dragon took a deep breath, picked up his luggage and then said with a grin, "Alright, you win. I'll stay the night."
Eda smiled some and nodded, "It's just right here." she motioned with a delicate looking hand as she turned about her tail sweeping behind her as she closed the small distance between the door of his room and hers. Pushing her door open further she showed her modestly furnished room, "I know there isn't much here but I didn't feel like lugging too much with me until I knew where I would be living." Se removed her scarf, which was the only actual artical of clothing she wore, and placed it upon a small rack with many others like it but of varying colors, each seemingly having it's proper place. Motioning to the other bed which was a cross the room, "Make yourself comfortable, Razonarl, right?" she turned a chair about and sat on it backwards folding her amrs over it and resting her head there a little cocked to the side, "To tell you the truth... I'm rather glad there is someone in here with me tonight. Sleeping in new places unsettles me, and I wouldn't have slept a wink. Too much quiet is like too many people in a room... what about you?" she asked the simple question sort of feeling out his repsonces and trying to get some reading on his emotions so she could put a definate marker on his personality, which was another bad habbit of hers.
Raz nodded in return and with his luggage in hand he followed after her. Edapona's room was only a few doors down from where he thought his room was going to be. After the blue furred khell pushed the door open Razonarl stepped in and looked around the place with his things still in his hands. The would-be farmer nodded at her comment about the furnishings, he didn't bring much with him either. Raz spotted the rack of scarves and noticed how organized they seemed to be. Then he took a few casual steps further in and cast his sea green eyes around the room. Raz caught sight of Eda sitting backwards on one of the chairs that accompanied the room and smiled slightly. "Make yourself comfortable, Razonarl, right?" She asked from her spot on the chair. "Yep." He answered simply, and then proceeded to make himself comfortable. He set his luggage on an unclaimed bed, and began to strip. He had never been very accustom to clothing and was only wearing the collared shirt and pants so he would look good on his first day. His pure, 'freshly driven snow' white fur became easy to see. There wasn't a mark upon it, except for his tattoo, which was black and located on his right haunch. After ridding himself of his attire, he popped his suitcase open. Reaching in he carefully removed a photograph of his family. Raz smiled to himself, then he set it on his nightstand. If Edapona were to take a look at the photo, she would see that there were four 'dragons present. She would also be able to spot Razonarl pretty easily; he was the only one there with white fur. If she took a closer look, she'd notice that Raz was also the only one in his family that didn't have wings. Just then Eda spoke up, and Raz had to turn around to face her. "To tell you the truthÂ… I'm rather glad there is someone in here with me tonight. Sleeping in new places unsettles me, and I wouldn't have slept a wink. Too much quiet is like too many people in a roomÂ… what about you?" "Me?" Razonarl sat down on the edge of his newly chosen bed and brushed a hand through his short blue hair. It was a habit of his, he never really planned on picking it up, its just a quirk he has. He shrugged and said, "I dunno, I like it quietÂ… its easier to think. But I understand. I meanÂ… yeah, I like it quiet, but nobody likes absolute silence. Your mind starts to run rampantÂ…" After a moment he smiled briefly, then turned back to his suitcase and snapped it closed. No need to unpack, he was only staying the night after all. OOC: Sorry it took me so long to get a reply up, I lost my internet and I just got it back yesterday.
Eda nods and smiles, "Yeah... except for me, when it's too quiet I could probably hear the feelings enduced by the dreams of everyone on the floor, and when I sleep they really effect my sleep and dreams." she looks down and rubs her arms a little. "It's half of why I am here. I can't really control that ability of mine." Eda gives a half laugh, "Bet you don't have to worry about that now doe you?" she says in an almost jealous tone. Her inability to control her empathic ability has been the source of quite a few of her past troubles. She stood and put the chair back infront of her desk and sat on her bed, "Sorry... I'm normally not this irratable. Earlier today in when I met you first, and with all the people around... well it never really is a fun experience for me in large crowds."
