Day: 37 Month: Tessera Year: 81377 There were a couple of trees on either side of a picknic table. Arton hung in one of the trees by his limbs his prehensile tail wrapped around the same branch. Letting go with his front paws he hung upsidedown looking around. Swinging back and forth he let go at the peak of one of his swings and fliped out of the tree landing on his feet. He had to keep up with his practicing. Finally he sat down at the table taking a break taking a sandwich out of a brown paper back taking bite. He leaned back and rested his free arm on the table top still breathing a bit heavy. He had been practicing his acrobatics for nearly 2 and a half hours. He ran his fingers back through his main the swet from it keeping the fur back some only a strand here and there of the blue main fell back in his face. "I think I could call it a day... my last free day for a little while anyways... I imagine my homework will be getting heavier soon." he thought aloud. He flicked his tail about some the flame glowed darly amost a black flame as it tended to do when he thought about thing he didn't like over much. "I wish Kiel were still around... then I wouldn't have had to come to this place... he could have taught me more than any of these teachers around here." he groaned some as he finished his sandwich and brushed off his hands before standing getting ready to practice some more flips, "Just a few more an then I will be done... I've gotta get this down pat before my next class." he said just before starting to do arial flips, and tucks throwing in a couple of hand springs here and there.
Tem had been walking through the courtyard, her arms crossed over her chest with pink opticals situated upon the ground. Her ears shot upward in curiousity as they heard the quiet but audible huffing and puffing of the athletic male. Her eyes rose to meet him swinging body, an eyebrow quirking. "What the hell is he doing?" She stepped closer to him, stopping at the table where he had sat for lunch. "Interesting." She spoke aloud, a chuckle erupting. "Mind telling me what it is your doing." Her eyes scanned over his lithe frame before she rose them again to his own eyes.
He smiled some stopping and running his fingers throug his main again keeping it out of his grey and blue flecked eyes scan over the female that addressed him, "Oh... just practicing some gymnastics... keeping in shape... you know... he walked over to the table that his things were laying on and he took off the white 'beater and picked up a towel patting off his sweaty fur. Walking back and draping the towel over his shoulders and raound his neck he offered a paw, "Name's Arton..." he smiled some still breathing slightly heavy.
Tem glanced at his paw for a few moments before actually gripping it with her own, a shake. A thin smile tainted her facial visage as she parted her lips for speech. "Well Arton, I am Tem." She slowly pulled her hand away to immediatly reform the crossing of arms. She didn't have much to say just yet, afterall, she didn't even know this 'dragon.
He nodded slowly looking over her a moment trying to keep from thinking about her... outwards appearance, though it was interesting, not repulsive but interesting. "What brings you to the Academy, Tem?" his ears flicked forwards and then moved about as if listening to his surroundings. A habit picked up from his old mentor Kiel. Though he tried to keep his mind from thinking about him, and kept the memories of him deeply supressed. "Personally I just need to complete a few things before I can call myself an assassin... or atleast an accomplished spy." he looked about some scanning the area with his eyse and then moved the grey and blue flecked oculars back towards who was still before him.
Tem's arms remained crossed as she stealthily examined the male's body; her own lithe and sleek, bounded slowly into a strut toward him. Her hands reached outward toward him yet hastily pulled back, a smirk erupting. "I am here to, shall I say, strengthen my own abilities as well. Just like yourself." Her ears perked at the mention of his profession, rather intruiging she thought. "An Assassin you say?" A devilish grin seemed to quirk the dipples of her smile as her soft eyes fell to delicate slits.
he blinked as he saw her face change to one of a rather impish expression. Tilting his head slightly to one side he replied, "Yes... an assassin... or a spy... probably both... why such the odd look?" he raised a brow to her glancing over her form slightly as he held back a pleasurable smirk.
Tem's tongue slid over her violet lips as a paw ran through her elongated bangs; flashing sight of her vibrant morganite (pink) opticals. "Such a dangerous profession. You could get hurt doing such, and you do not seem like the type to murder." Her long clawed mitten reached out to trail down the male's sternum, or rjautsbone. Her eyes shinned as she focused her energy upon him, preparing to invade his mind. She hastily ceased, not wanting to scare away the intruiging creature. "I am a Dark Sorcerress as well as an Animal Breeder." She flashed delicate fangs at mention of the latter, proving that despite the child-like profession, she was not to be taken lightly.
He blinked and looked at her finger upon his chest and smirked some looking back up to her, "Yes well... from what I am told, most assassins are people you wouldn't expect to be. My mentor was a bit of a prankster before he... er died." he wondered if she was reading his thoughts, he rather hoped she wasn't. Almost without knowing it he bagan to undress her with his eyes. Once he realized what he was doing he closed them and then looked back up to her, "Sorceress and a breeder ey? What sort of animals do you work with." he smiled watched her face intently.
Tem chuckled softly as she stepped closer to him, hands resting against his shoulders. Her slick tongue slid across his neck before she pulled backward, a soft snicker released as her pink eyes narrowed once more. "I breed Trintills and Korads." Her lips moved slowly before she leaned backwards, arms again crossing.
Arton smirked at her quick advance and watched as she pullled away snickering, "...pity those are the only things," he thought aloud with out realizing it. Though she could have easily snatched that tid bit of info right from his mind if she had wanted, along with several other... less then proper thoughts that began to form in his mind. He tilted his head to one side conitinuing with the talk about what she was studying, "Is it a terribly difficult trade?" he smiled being interested in this one though not nearly enough in her trade as he was in her appearance.
Wind bellowed through her soft hair as she sat on top of the table, her arms crossing behind her head as she laid backwards, eyes focusing on the sky above as violet lips parted for speech. "Being a Sorcerress has it's downs, but then again I'm used to them from my past. And the Animal work is very nice, they are the only things I trust." Her chest rose in fell in the taut cloak that wrapped around her sleek figure. She slowly looked upward at the male, however she did not move from her lain position, for comfort was something she didn't normally have.
He nodded slowly and sat upon the long seat beside the table resting a foot upon it as well and leaning forwards upon his bent knee, "Well perhaps you just haven't found the right 'dragon to trust?" he smirked some and tilted his head to one side. His eyes scanned over the female slowly before meeting her gaze. "... and if I am not being overly rude, I wouldn't mind listening to your past... if you would care to talk about it." Arton tried not to be too pushy on the subject, he knew that many were very guarded when it came to their pasts. She was the first 'dragon he had actually sat down and talked with besides his room mate, and he didn't want to drive away what seemed to be the start of a good friendship.
