<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Timestamp Who: Ryhaneu Jhugtypi Where: Dhruv, Ky 'Datudk Mountain range, an icy peak When: 47th Dyo, 81379, noon</td></tr></table> Ryhaneu Jhugtypi lowered herself onto a peak, her ebony-bronze scales flashing furiously in the low sun. After being cramped in that bloody pokey little study, she had flown out there to get some fresh air, in her birthplace, Dhruv. The pendragon raised her head to inhale the breeze sharply, causing her to errupt into some hacking coughs. The cold was getting to her lungs, like it always did, but she didn't care, that little building was so humid it could've roasted the toes off another. But she was used to this routine, she did it almost very day in her spare time. Sighing, she lay down, shivering slightly at the freezing temperatures of the icy peak. Ramath-lehi was spread below her, filling her with awe and eagerness to explore the whole of it. "Plenty of time to do that." she murmured, her eyes darting in their sockets, examining the horizon. The femme kept alert of what was going on behind her, now and again she waved her tail threateningly to ward off any creatures who may think they could sneak up on her.
Another pendagon watched her, eying her suspiciously. What's she doing up here, I thought I was the only one who knew about the view from here. He let out a low growl, not noticing that he was standing now and watching her. This is my spot, no one elses, I found this place first.
Ryhaneu took another great gulp of air, this time a large hailstone dropping into her mouth. She hawked and spat it back out again, her tail whipping the air. Her feathery wings began to beat the air firmly, ready to take off. But a voice came nearby - masculin, by the sound of it. The femme whirled round, fluffing herself indignantly. "Why is it your spot? Can't someone rest at her birthplace?" Her eyebrows lowered into a frown, though her bright orbs gleamed with hidden playfulness. She eyed him up and down, the flaw in her eye sparking each time it withdrew from the shadows. "Who are you, anyway?" Of course, she had read his mind of the thoughts, but she couldn't help it.
"That's exactly why I'm here, I was born on this spot." He said, looking her over. His wings spread out, and the band of white scales on his forearm glowed for a second. "I raizan, and you might be?" He asked, his tail swishing rapindly as he continued to eye her over.
Ryhaneu's gaze drifted back and forth over Raizan. "Greetings, Raizan. I am Ryhaneu Jhugtypi." Slowly her wings folded, and she watched the other with a hint of laziness. "I hate my home... so I come up here often. How 'bout you?" The hailstones, meanwhile, were getting larger, pelting her head and fur rapidly. But, she didn't care. Her scales were the equivalent to diamonds, only she and her parents knew where her weakest area was. And she wasn't going to tell anybody.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Thought I'd pop in ;)</td></tr></table> <span style='color:blue'>For quite some time Dumu Amsesi had been sitting on the ice capped mountain where it was more flat, overlooking nothing but more mountains. He had gone there many hours before hand to concentrate on improving his focus. The freezing morning slipped to a more pleasant afternoon, but the temperature within him never altered. He was feeling mildly pleased with himself. Prior to him leaving Swaraj, he had made Shanu happy. He'd allowed her to enrol in the Academy. She had been asking for months to enrol, but not once had Dumu approved of the idea; mainly because he loved her too much as family. Having her leave would break his heart, nevertheless, she had to go - go to make her own way in life. Gradually Dumu found his thoughts drifting to his sister. Sometimes he tried to refocus, but each time they drifted back. A light, chilling wind swirled past him, his long, fine hair sweeping over his strong shoulders. He lifted his hand and brushed it back with a flick. Metallic blue oculars surveyed the area momentarily, catching glimpses of the sun peering through the hazy air, diffusing into golden beads washing along the whole face of the mountain. In some respects, this was better than being in Vivuli; peaceful; tranquile. By no means was he someone who enjoyed being by himself. He rather disliked the idea. On this occasion though, it was necessary, like all his training. Yet he couldn't argue that, overall, home was indeed better. Lying back, his eyes squinted partially to tolerate the soft glare. He had been aware of another presence, but he wasn't all too sure who or what it was, and quite frankly, hadn't been all too bothered at all in finding out. He was there for his own benefit. As soon as he felt he had achieved all he could, he'd make his way back. This, among other things, mulled over in his mind, which he found a tad ammusing. Always with some kind of routine. Never straying from it. Nonetheless this is how he was, and he wouldn't change. Intermingled with the sound of wind sailing through, his ears twitched slowly, akin to highly accurate radars, to the sound of a voice. A smile grew across his muzzle whilst Dumu relaxed into the snow, strips of hair draping casually over his stomach, half listening, half focusing on other things. </span>
"Me too, but I live in the valley down there." He said, his wings folding against his back. "I think we better get out of this Hail before it gets bigger." He said, conjuring a disc of air and deflecting the hail hitting him. "Shall we?"
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>lol earlier than I'd wish...</td></tr></table> Ryhaneu nodded, and began to pound the air with her feathery wings, preparing to take flight. A few thoughts distracted her, though, and they didn't sound like Raizan's. Her head swivelled round to cast her orbs on another male. "Qhuud-gi-gu," she murmured. Folding her wings smugly she padded up beside Raizan. "There's another male over there..." She bobbed her head in Dumu's direction, a frown etching its way onto her features. Fluffing herself again, she plodded near, her elegant neck snaked in case of him being hostile. "Greetings. Who might you be?" She smirked, trying to get into his mind - but withdrew as she struck some sort of barrier. She growled softly, and tried again. Nothing. The femme realised she was staring, so she put on a relaxed, casual, 'I didn't do anything' look. If anything, this brujo looked very young, possibly still adolescent. She glanced over at Raizan, wondering what he would say. She broke into his mind quickly, prowling around his thoughts, but retracted her telepathy powers quickly. Yes, the hailstones were indeed getting larger, and every milisecond they bounced on her hard fur. The femme shook her head impatiently, her tail swaying to keep balance. As she raised her head again, she noticed that he seemed to be a biped, which, in her mind, focused as simply strange. She had grown up around quadrupeds, and didn't really know any two-leggeds. What the heck.... She relaxed again and let a small smile show, though her ears had rotated back in Raizan's direction.
"Why did you go into my mind?" He asked, looking at her. He moved over to her, staring her straight in the face. "Don't ever, ever go into my mind again unless I say its okay." He said in a cold voice, angry that this femme had violated his mind. "Wonder who that is?" he said, looking over in Dum's direction.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>*waves* Hey Dumu</td></tr></table> Ryhaneu recoiled, her facial expression back to a frown. "Sorry. Well, his mind has some kind of barrier. I can't tell if he is Good, Neutral or Bad. Wait and see, huh?" she murmured quietly to Raizan. Her orbs flicked back to the younger male in their midst, her own mind whirring with confusion. How could he have that barrier from his mind? Even she could not do that, and this guy was indeed a teen. "I hope he's not hostile. That'll be really bad... I'm in no mood for getting attacked."
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td> Sorry ^^;;</td></tr></table> <span style='color:blue'>Dumu's right ear twitched back to lay against his nape at the sense of something trying its way into his mind. With his ear, his head turned partially before catching sight of two quadrupedal 'dragons behind him and off a little to his right. Dumu pushed himself from the soft surface to stand, like always, up straight, his hair shimmering a silvery, regal blue under the high sun. He knew who it was who had spoken to him, and, likewise, who had tried to get into his mind. Nonetheless, he'd behave as though nothing had happened. It wasn't like him to make a big deal of something. He eyed them both for a moment, until turning his eyes upon the femme once more.</span> <span style='color:white'>Dumu Amsesi. I came here from Vivuli this morning. Might I be so bold as to ask of your name?</span> <span style='color:blue'>He sensed she had not a malicious nature, perhaps more of an adventurous one. At this point in time he wasn't going to assume anything either. Dumu didn't know the place, hence another reason as to why he was there. However, it seemed she did. Though he wasn't sure, her demeanor suggested it. On the other hand, the male didn't look quite as confident; he looked quite perturbed. Still, Dumu stood a short distance from them, not defensively, rather to show he had no intentions.</span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>S'ok ^_^ </td></tr></table> Ryhaneu paused, wondering if she could trust Dumu. She glanced round at Raizan, a quizzical look on her face. "I am Ryhaneu Jhugtypi. This is Raizan." Her words were indeed simple, but she had no intention of revealing any more information. Finally getting annoyed at the hail drumming down on her, she shuffled closer to Raizan, ducking under his reflecting disc of air. "What do you think," she whispered softly, her words loud enough only for him to hear. "Do you think we can trust him?" Her wings quivered, and her orbs searched for any sudden movements.
"I think we can, he doesn't seem to have any bad intentions." he said, wispering into her ear. "I think we should get out of here before this gets any worse, what do you think?" He asked both of them, moving his disc a fraction to provide better cover for Ryhaneu from the hail, which was starting to become softball size.
<span style='color:blue'>Dumu's eyes glanced upwards briefly. He must have been considerably deep within the confines of himself to have not realized the hail earlier. Had he noticed the weather prior to meeting the others, he may have left, but, as it stood, to depart now would be an insult. He tilted his head downward; the two white stripes almost glowing past his dark pelt; firm eyes never leaving Ryhaneu's, until the male spoke, then from his Dumu's eyes never left.</span> <span style='color:white'>I think we should get out of here before this gets any worse, what do you think?</span> <span style='color:blue'>From what he had seen, there were very few places to which they might go for shelter, and he wasn't about to impose unnecessarily. If indeed there was a building but turned out to be on the small side, he'd stay outside so as to give them both as much room as possible. He would accept shelter provided he wouldn't impede agendas. Presumably, though, the male had an idea, and had invited Dumu to accompany them.</span> <span style='color:white'>I would agree with you. It's becoming unpleasant here.</span> <span style='color:blue'>Although he had agreed, Dumu was waiting for him to lead the way. There was a particularly apprehensive air surrounding Ryhaneu's aura.</span> <span style='color:white'>I won't stay longer than I need to.</span>
Ryhaneu turned to look at Raizan, her brow raised slightly. "You have a shelter nearby? Lead the way..." She bobbed her head to one side, avoiding an oncoming hailstone, growling softly with irritance at the weather's change.
"Somewhat of one." he said, walking down the slope and motioning for them to follow. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>half an hour later</td></tr></table> "Here we are." He said, moving it with his aerokinesis. It revealed a small cave with a small fire with a few fish over it, as well as some blankets and a small spring of water in the back of the cave. "I'm going in the spring, make yourselves at home." He said, stepping into the water. He dove under, letting the water soothe his mind and body. As he broke the surface, he used his powers to grab a fish that was hanging above the fire, taking a bite out of it.
<span style='color:blue'>Large wings unfurled from mid back, came up over his head, and firmly pressing against one another to form his own shield against the hail, which, by now, had gotten especially vicious. The day could herald worse yet by the way the lowering skies coiled menacacingly. Powdery oil wells bled into the lighter clouds, spearing them with its power, shunting them aside whereupon they swiftly secreted a thick, oozy layer, thwarting light entering, only to join in the hunt for the trio from behind them. Air currents felt to be getting stronger, whistling past him. Dumu pushed the top corner of his wings together to make the wind split around his large frame. Hail stones hammered down on his silky wings, making it bounce against his head lightly; he tucked his ears down to lay against his skull softly, then by angling his head down, if anything were to happen, he wouldn't be affected. The short trek from the mountain top had led him to a moderately sized cave. Dumu noticed the male move in a signalling manner, when the cave came into view. It was of a moderate size, dimly lit by a quaint fire. The sound of subtle, trickling water drew his attention for a second, his eyes casually scanning the sturdy cave. He stood a pace or two off Ryhaneu's left. It wasn't rare, then again, it wasn't common in his experience, to see a 'dragon traveling in their quad form, let alone two of them, so it didn't serve much curiousity to be worth thought about. His right wing stretched out behind Ryhaneu quietly, and in a calm voice,</span> <span style='color:white'>After you.</span>
Ryhaneu smiled her thanks, and padded inside. It felt wonderfully roomy compared to the study, she would sooner stay than return home. Eyeing the spring, she sat down near the fire, and relaxed on the blanket as she warmed herself. "I daresay it's nicer than my lodgings. If you're used to having this much space you wouldn't want to set foot in there." She grinned, and picked up a smooth pebble from the cave floor, and delicately skimmed it over the surface of the spring, avoiding Raizan's underwater figure.
Raizan finished his fish, laying back in the water and throwing the bone into a corner of the cave. "I just found this place a few days ago, it's not really my home." He said, looking at Ryhaneu, watching her skip a pebble over the spring. He let a small smile show, and stoppped it with a wave of his hand, letting it hover before getting it and skiping it himself, watching the ripples spread out of the water and clash with eachother, canceling eachother out. "The futile efforts of the waves, trying to overcome eachother, and in the end exausting their energy and neither winning. It is just like the wars of old, both sides fighting and at the end, nobody wins." He said, momentarily forgetting the other two.
Ryhaneu smiled back, and watched as he spoke. "Huh? What do you mean?" she asked, trailing a claw across the line of a ripple. Dumu had not spoken for a while now, she realised, glancing over her bronze shoulder.
