She needed a bit of rest from all of the ‘guilds constant requests. She didn’t often get a break, and if it wasn’t for the massive headaches she had been receiving she would still be at work. When she enchanted, it was pretty simple; no big tricks. But as of late, everything was complicated and took many strenuous hours of work. Her beautiful office in the Sagar Sea just couldn’t cut it this time, she needed some outside conversation. The room was vast by any ‘dragon’s standards, the ceiling was domed like a stadium and the décor was modern with a splash of futuristic appeal. The lights were a mix of chrome black and silver, each were malleable to be pointed in whichever angle possible; all the more easier to customize to the guests particular demands. The brick pelted femme sat crossed legged on a black cushioned stool, her elbows propped herself up on the bar’s marble countertop. A simple exported beer stood in front of her, three quarters of the way finished already. The bartender was cleaning out one of the drink glasses when she downed the rest of her bottle and motioned for another. As much as she needed the rest, it just didn’t bode well with her to leave Magnus taking care of the guild while she was vacationing in some remote corner of Notios Sudesha. She wasn’t complaining, oh no, just mentioning the lack of good company and conversation. Maybe I should change into some pretty attire, these tattered rags won’t attract me any good attention. As of yet, she still had on her work clothes. It didn’t occur to her there might actually be some good company. Picking up the fresh bottle, she headed towards the elevator and finally her room. Placing the spirit on her dresser, she pulled the suitcase that had been under the bed and threw it on the bed. She pulled out a black, slightly shimmering dress. She wasn’t sure if she should put it on our not, but figured it might be an idea to put on the best and give people good first impressions. The fabric hugged her curves and actually made her look less boyish than she normally preferred to dress. Her hair was tied back up in a nice bun while she wore a simple diamond necklace. She grabbed her beer and traveled back downstairs. To her dismay, her seat was taken at the bar so she grabbed one of the café-styled tables. The thill sat there comfortably, sipping her beer while she studied her surroundings.
Bartuc sat in one of the café chairs, stirring uncomfortably. It was so hard for him to relax, especially leaving his children at home after such a period of grief. He needed a vacation though, and surely Athena would be able to watch the other two, even if it was only a month. They all needed to move away from Nié'ra, she was completely gone. He casually sipped at his beer. Perhaps, it would be better for him to enjoy the time he had in here, than become tense at every situation. He needed to ease his mind, and simply relax. He eased into his chair and closed his eyes. The long willowy robes of which he was dressed, moved in the cold breezey air, silver glimmering. He had a rather fancy appearance, which was odd considering he usually dressed in tattered clothes and hoods. His ears detected the sound of someone sitting down near him. He noticed the thill, glancing for a second before turning away, scanning the area. He smiled catiously before opening his mouth. "It's a beautiful day, oui?"
Artemis' ears picked up the voice of a male 'dragon and she turned her head casually to the side. Her unforgiving grey orbs peered around anxiously, trying to discern the carrier of the voice. She closed her 'lids for a moment to even remember which direction she had heard it, and then almost immediately she spotted the 'dragon. The femme shifted her sitting position so she faced the arden. <span style='color:570000'>"It's not too bad, a bit too bright for my likings though. I've gotten used to the dirty, cluttered and concealed laboratory."</span> Artemis smiled curtly towards him, it wasn't exactly in her nature to be so joyous with a new acquaintance. If she were back in her lab, she would truly be in her element, so much more comfortable when you knew where everything was... Where no one was unexpected and everyone unwanted kept out. Yet for the moment, this arden intrigued her and might actually be decent to talk to. Her hands lay folded politely on her lap, twitching at odd intervals whenever a new 'dragon entered the hi-tech abode. A few odd times she would actually replace some disturbed strands of hair.
Bartuc nodded, sipping once more at his chilled drink. "I see" he answered, moving to the side so that he could get a better view. His willowy robe drapped off the chair, leaving a trail of soft, silver material. "I'm not much of a sunny weather lover, I have to say". Entirely true. He would rather be spending the day at home, in his shady mountain cabin. He began to miss the sound of three children, moving through a home, leaving a path of destruction on whatever they touched. But, they had sent him to relax, and so he would. No more cleaning up messes, or telling them to get to bed, or giving advice, at least for a while. It was going to be hard, but something told him that he would be feeling better afterwords. He threw out his hand towards the thill. "Bartuc Shadowhawk" he casually introduced. Perhaps the best thing for him at the moment would be to meet some new friends. He had been rather lonely lately, since her death. It was hard for him to meet new people, he was usually so shy.
Artemis took the arden's hand and shook it lightly. <span style='color:570000'>"Artemis Amsjaji."</span> A thin smile slipped upon her lips as she brought herself from her chair and over to one over at his table. Her dress swayed lightly as she walked, the fabric stretching out a little wider than she was used to. As she sat down on the stylized chair, the material made a bit of a whooshing sound as it was compressed. <span style='color:570000'>"Did I go a tad bit overboard with the dress? I don't know how the regulars dress here, is this too much?"</span> She was simply assuming Bartuc was here often, he looked like some one who would come here, then again her perceptions of people weren't all that great. Those thoughts brought her back to how her lab, why was she missing it so much right now? Shrugging off the doubts her gaze went back to the arden. The femme crossed her legs casually, the leg that was on top kept shaking like a little child's would or someone under pressure. This wasn't the case mind you, it was just a bad habit she had never bothered to break.
Bartuc uttered a laugh, before answering the thill. "I've never been here before, so I would never be sure, but it's very lovely". He would much rather be dressed in his usual rags, than march around in fine robes. Athena had decided otherwise. She was always forcing him to be "trendy" in the eyes of the public. Perhaps, he was the one who was stubborn. He flashed her a casual smile. It was still hard for him to relax, thoughts shifting between his three beautiful children, and the necromancy papers which were soon to be due at the office. Bartuc was a researcher for the topic, and a well known user of the trade. He sipped at his cold beer once more, before sliding up from his chair. "I'm about to get another, would you care for one" he asked.
