Paush's brown coat reflected in the murky water. "Ay'," he muttered. "I wish I could just develope a decent style," black hair hung over, his pupiless eyes not visible. He exhaled a long sigh, emitted a blank stare back down at the water. There it was again. A large pendragon looking up at him; a rugged brown pelt and long black hair, hiding pupilless raven black eyes. Pfft, he thought to himself. I'd hate to admit this, but I'm in need of a friend. He looked away; he'd always been a loner, but strangly, he was quite social. He wanted to be with pups; he enjoyed youth and many younger than him. He'd applyed as a teacher at the academey, but had recieved no reply. But purely, from the deepest bottom, he was truely kind. He'd been given his name for his father's deeds. He was yet to know who his father even was, but by rumor, he was a warlord. His name, Paush, meant Death. His sirname, Cell, meant Kill. Oy, why can't I be normal? he thought to himself. I don't wanna attract attention, but I'm in need of a lil' social help.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry for not posting sooner, I was away all weekend. I just got back from the lake lol;)</td></tr></table> Nyym smiled. Her long blond hair flowed under the surface of the calm, beautiful lake. Her pale green skin, smooth at the touch. She moved elegantly through the water until she came to a halt. A pendragon was sad. He needed a friend. Her mind could see and read all. She used her telepathy and tapped into his thoughts. "Hello, Paush Cell" . She burst through the water, causing a rather large splash which hit Paush in the face. "Oh! Sorry" she cried getting out of the water. A mer-dragon. Fins, gills, and yet still so beautiful...gentle. She placed her arm on his shoulder, absorbing the water. "So what brings you here?" she asked. She very well knew what brought him here. Withen seconds she knew everything about him, and even some stuff he didn't know yet.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sound fun. ^^</td></tr></table> "Erm, boredom, I supose," his pupiless eyes seemed to lighten up at the sign of company. "Excuse me, but who the hell are you?" the pendragon choked, humor ringing in his tone. He wasn't used to social activities, and having a conversation with someone-- a female, to his shock-- was something new. "I'm sorry," he sighed. "But how do you know my name?" He had the urge to scan the femme-- she was so young, so beautiful. He watched in awe as her silky blonde hair reflected with the last rays of the sunset, careing less about her aquatic qualities.
She smiled. She looked at him. "I can use telepathy" she said. She looked into his eyes. He was beautiful as well, his eyes entranced her.
Shaking away his stare of admireration, her forced a weak smile. "You see, I don't really study, er, know much about pendragons, but I'm not dumb, and, uh, I teach at the academy, and..." a tangle of words emmitted from his mouth.
He tore his eyes away from her, fusteration boiling throughout every fiber in his body. Why can't I talk? he asked himself, stealing a glance at her enchantment and charm. Pausing for a few moments, he exhaled a long, depressed sigh. "ou never told me your name."
She smiled. "That's great for you" she said. She turned away. "But I better leave you then" she said smiling.
"Oh, don't leave!" his voice called. Damn, he though to himself. I ruined it... AGAIN! Sighed, "Please, please, and please tell me your name."
A new emotion swept over the brute: shy; embarrassed. He didn't know what to say as pink colored blush blooming 'neath his silky raven pelt. I need an ice breaker, he though to himself, forcing a weak smile.
"It's not the fact that your a mer-dragon," he sayed, using his 'hands' to somewhat comfort his explaination. "It's just you are a pendragon."
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>What the? 'Sayed'? I need to go back to typing class... you'll have to excuse all of my typos lately... <_< </td></tr></table> He sighed. This wasn't going very fast-- far, either. Pools, Pools of Reflections. It's like an infection. Like a stabbed memory. I'm up for the test and I'm doing in my best But this burn won't heal-- it's a sour melody. There it was again. That song. Gently playing in his mind. Everytime he pictured his mother, father, relative, or anyone close in his mind, the song erupted. Get... out... of... my... head! he wanted to scream so badly.
She smiled. "You are the first person to call me a pendragon" she said. She walked over to him and gave him a hug. Her ears twitched. She senced his pain. "What is wrong, maybe I can help" she said with a grin.
He smiled, the unusual warmth of her body comforting him. "I'm alone," he murmured. "I've been hated for centuries for all around me..." he looked away. sadly, it was true. He'd evolved from a vampiric pendragon, enjoying the aroma of death (not that he is one).
Nyym frowned. She looked into his past, his future, his life, even his after life. "Most people hate me as well, but I don't hate them...I don't hate you". She thought for a second. There were mer-dragon passages in almost every lake, which all lead to the great city of Kaushal. She smiled. "How would you like to become mer-dragon for two hours, and come with me, where everyone accepts you".
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>http://shadowlack.com/forums/index ... entry28415 *wink* I made up a good history... if you want Nyym to understand a little more...</td></tr></table> Black eye seemed to glow with high radiance. She knew what to do. She actually understood him. "Oh;... Of course," his voice was trying to remain calm, but excitment shot through his spine.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I think Nyym is in love ;)</td></tr></table> She smiled. "Great! Be back in a second" she said. She dived under the water and grabbed something from underneith a rock (a hidden stash of some sort). It appeared to be a ball of seaweed type stuff. She came up, the water dripping of her body. "Here, eat this, it will give you the power to breath underwater"
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Aww. How cute. I think Paush is too. =3</td></tr></table> Hesitating, he held his nose, placing the murking green grass upon his black tongue. He quivered, it not tasting so good. But then he kept quivering. A quick jolt of pain shot through his head, and his lungs were no longer needed. Gills.
