Pendzez walked into the door of the Divenchy hair salon and asked, "Hi, is it possible to get a hair cut?" He continued, "Because I have to go to Bhim later today and I need a hair cut before I go." He was replied with, "Just give me a minute." Pendzez sat on a chair and got out his book called, The Basics of Alchemy.

  2. ooc. Sorry it's a bit rushed, but I just noticed this and wanted to reply. Thank you for making the thread. :]

The clicking of her heels against the floor sounded rhythmically as she walked towards the storefront counter of the salon. Might as well take one or two before I leave here today, Orleanna thought, as she made her regular visit to the boutique that morning to check up on things. The attendant had told her of a young arden waiting on a hair cut moments before. It was earlier in the day, and none of the usual workers had gotten there yet, so she would just work him into her schedule. Shouldn't be too hard, right? "Just tell me what you want," she said in a professional, sing-song voice, smiling and directing him towards the nearest chair behind the counter.

  3. "I just need my hair cut," he replied while he walked to the chair.

  4. Orleanna sighed as she seated him, draping the apron across him and snapping the velcro in the back. Wishing he were more specific, she questioned him again to try and get some further detail, "How short?" She didn't like the idea of her hacking away without any basis of what he wanted.

  5. Pendzez replied, "Well, it's 40 cm long. Can cut it back to 20 cm long."

  6. "Mmhm," she nodded in approval. Reaching around in a drawer under the station she was attending him in, her fingers fumbled across a pair of cutting scissors, the sharp edge slicing into her hand. She pulled it back quickly, wincing at the mild pain and woefully looking it over. Damnit, can't they keep anything organised, she thought in anger, shoving the hand without the thin paper cut into the drawer and retrieving the scissors. Making a mental note to speak with the worker of the particular station later, she lifted a piece of the arden's hair and estimated the appropriate length to be trimmed off, immediately snipping away in short cuts. When she had finished, overall pleased with herself, she handed him a small hand mirror for him to angle and examine the back of his head, if desired, in the larger mirror in front of him, of which the front of his head was easily seen. "You like?"

  7. Pendzez looked and replied happily, "Yep, perfect." "How much will it be?" he asked curiously.

  8. "I'm not sure," she said, drumming her fingers against the counter. Sometimes she rather didn't like the fact of the lack of an adequate currency system, for trying to find an equal payment for service was hard under the bartering system the planet made use of. Her countenance was thoughtful as she raised the cut finger to her lips and chewed on the peeled skin. "What do you have?" Anna inquired of him, pulling her sleeve back to examine her watch, realising that there wasn't much time left for her to walk towards her office. But it didn't matter, they'd manage the office without her.

  9. "Well, I have a hmmm... give me a minute", said Pendzez as he was looking for a gem to trade with in his bag. "I have a Rubius Regis. How about that?"

  10. (No worries. :])

"Oh, that's lovely," she said, reaching her hand outward. Orleanna looked towards the arden, then back to the gem, "It will certainly do," she added. Her prim and proper speech was emphasised through her precise pronunciation of each and every word, and the natural ups and downs of her voice, which was rarely heard and usually only during matters of business as what was appropriate now. The purple thill gave a small smile, tucking the apron she had removed from his neck under her arm while she gave the gem another look over.

  11. "That is real, not fake." he said about the gem. "Found it in a forest cave."

  12. "Alrighty," she said, taking the gem into her hands and admiring it. "Will that be all for today?"

  13. "Yes, thats all. Thanks for the hair cut. I'll be leaving now. Bye," he replied as he turned for the door.
