<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td> Okay, forgive the cruddy title, I suffered a major brainfart... Day: 45th Month: Tria Year: 81378 </td></tr></table> Twitch practically bounced into her dorm, a happy grin plastered on her face. It was friday, classes were out for the day, she had no homework, and that meant free time until monday. She flung her backpack and sneakers under her bed, and flopped down on the floor. Despite her joy of having all that free time, she had one problem. There was nothing to do. She chewed her lip thoughtfully. She could probably stand to meet a few other students... Twitch shrugged to herself. <span style='color:orange'>Why the hell not?</span> She pulled herself up and shuffled over to the stereo set up in the corner. She stuck her favorite cd in and turned the music up. Twitch headed over the to the kitchenette and found a few bags of chips and a couple cases of beer. As she emptied the bags into a couple of large bags she hummed quietly along with the music, tail twitching in time to the heavy bass. She set the bowls down on a desk, then kicked the door open wide. Hopefully someone would hear the music and investigate. Twitch plopped down into a nean green beanbag chair and waited.
Puanym was not, by nature, a 'party animal'. In fact, he tended to avoid parties in general, because of the crowds. However, he'd just finished smoking something a tad bit stronger than a normal cig, and was in a rare social mood. The thumping bass drew him like a moth to a flame, and the deep blue 'dragon slipped inside the room stealthily. Ooo, alcohol. He'd like some of that. Risking a glance around, he spotted Twitch in her neon green beanbag, but that was it. "Looks like I'm the first to arrive." Puanym said in his monotonous voice. "Mind if I grab a beer?"
<span style='color:orange'>"Help yourself, that's what it's there for."</span> Twitch chirped happily. She caught a whiff of something that smelled suspiciously like weed. Twitch didn't really give a shit though, hell, the crowd she hung around with always seemed to be smokeing pot and junk. Twitch shifted in her seat, floudering around a bit before being able to sit up straight. <span style='color:orange'>"Names Twitch by the way, what's yours?"</span> she said, a large smirk plastered across her face. She hopped up from the beanbag and grabbed herself a beer. She quickly opened it up and took a long gulp.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I needed to put Avalon in a school thread... even if it's just students! XD The lyrics he's singing softly are copyright Bon Jovi. :P</td></tr></table> The last few days had been a nightmare for Avalon. He, once cheerful and optimistic, had fallen into a deep depression. The night before he'd spoken to a few of his friends, and come to a decision. Even if music helped lift his mood, and he had friends... leaving was the best option for him. "It's my life, and it's now or never..." It was a song which he listened to every now and again. Ah, how he loved it... it helped remind him that he shouldn't let other people push him around all the time. He brushed a strand of hair out of his gold eyes, and looked towards the source of the music. Damn, that bass was annoying... "I ain't gonna live forever..." He was singing it very softly, but nonetheless, he was singing it. Singing wasn't just a talent with him... it was a gift. His fangirls annoyed him. He'd driven them away... "I just wanna live while I'm alive..." 'Lon reached the door. Raising a crimson fist, he knocked on it - hard. His twin tails twitched behind him, and he tilted his head. Pah... someone probably wouldn't hear it. He pushed the door open. "A... party...?" His voice was somewhat quiet, but at least he'd said it... even if it couldn't be heard over the annoying bass. All four of his ears flattened. Tentatively, he took a step inside, looking about. Maybe he'd try this... one last time. After all, he had until the afternoon of the 48th to spend his time... because on that afternoon, he'd leave the Academy. For good. "Maybe..."
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I was bored 0.o that's my reason...</td></tr></table> <span style='font-family:Geneva'><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Hail heared the sound of people gathering, probably meant a party. She was so excited, it was her first day in town so maybe she would meet some new friends. She decided to get "dressed" in case there was any guys there. She put on her white, tight mini skirt and her black skull tank top. Hail ran out the door and down the hall to the party. "Hey, mind if I come in?" she asked. </span></span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>They play that song at school, in gym when we do our warm up run XD s'a good song</td></tr></table> Twitch flicked her ears back, slightly surprised at the sight of the two new arrivals. She drummed her claws against the beer can in time to the music. The bass was loud enough that her whole head seemed to throb along with the beat. The small female loved having music with loud bass, perferably if they had a steady rythm. The pounding in her skull seemed to help her brain stay focused, less 'all over the place'. It slowed down her mental processes enough that, for a time, her mind acted normally. She took a small sip of her drink, then smiled brightly at the two, <span style='color:orange'>"Hey, what's up?"</span> she grinned. She was slightly surprised by the appearance of the male, it wasn't often you saw a pendragon with a double set of ears, or two tails.
Del had been wandering around town all day, and was looking for a nap, <span style='color:red'>Oh hell, music, twitch must be throwing a party."</span> <span style='color:red'>"Hiya, Twitch, whats with the cool music?"</span> he looked around the room, <span style='color:red'>"I was right, its a party,"</span> He opened the wardrobe next to his bed and pulled out two more six-packs of beer, put them on the table, and floped facedown on his bed,
Tentatively, he took a few more steps in. Already more were coming. Depression and the music had altered his mood, and even if it had been lifted... he still found the idea of being surrounded by drunks irritating. Even disgusting. Now I know how Salty feels... "Ahhh... I'm fine." He attempted to deflect the question with a simple lie. It wouldn't really work unless he was really lucky, because his tone of voice gave away the lie. His left tail burning with a green flame, and his right one with a red flame, he walked briskly across the dormitory until he found a spot which he liked, and sat in it. And commenced soft singing. Once again, he was singing the tune which he'd been singing until he came in. Once again, he wore his usual outfit of black tank top and khaki pants... except that he now also wore a bone necklace. Out of place, but he didn't really care. 'Lon gazed idly at the rest of the room, listening to the music... which was making him somewhat irritable. And then the tune changed. Thank the gods...
<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='font-family:Geneva'>Hail gazed at all the people who has suddenly arrived. She loved meeting new people, but hated introducing herself. She smiled at them. "Anybuddy got any booze?, by the way, my names Hail".</span> </span>
<span style='color:red'>Hey! hail? Hiya, whats up?</span> he said walking quickly over to her, smiling broadly, handing her a beer with her left hand and holding out his right for a handshake,
<span style='color:orange'>"Don't sound fine..."</span> Twitch mumbled. Now, in the span of less than a minute, three people had arrived, for Twitch's odd mind, that was too many too fast for her to handle. <span style='color:orange'>Brain malfunction, system overload!</span> <span style='color:orange'>"GACK!"</span> she squawked, blinking madly. <span style='color:orange'>"Uh h-hi Del, and um...what did you say your name was?" </span>Twitch asked the female 'dragon, scrunching up her nose slightly. Damn, her brain was already going into freak out mode. Okay, okay, she could handle this; she brought it upon herself, and damnit she was going through with it. Twitch shook her head violently and smiled widely, whether ot not her brain agreed, she would enjoy herself.
<span style='font-family:Geneva'><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Hail smiled at him. She remembered him from that time at the lake. "Hey Del, nice meeting you again" she said shaking his hand. "Having fun?" she said taking a sip of the beer he had handed her. She looked at the female dragon. "Names Hail Firewing".</span></span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Ack!! Sorry, sorry! Real Life Blues and all that jazz.</td></tr></table> Puanym snatched a beer, cracking it open and downing it with long, steady gulps. It took only a moment for him to empty the can, lowering it with a satisfied sigh and crunch of crushing metal. Then, he stood there. His tail flame dulled, and his solid eyes stared out into space without seeing anything. If he could have talked, he would have mentioned something about those damn episodes, and how they always managed to come at the worst of times. Luckily for those involved, though, this one didn't last more than twenty minutes. A particularly loud thump of bass rattled his brain, and Puanym gave his head a good shake, blinking slowly. "I'm Puanym." he replied, as if Twitch had just asked her question a moment ago. Then, he reached for another beer and a handful of chips. Huh, a few people here already. Might be a good party.
<span style='color:red'>Nice to see you again too, Hail.</span> he grabbed a beer, <span style='color:red'>I'm gunna feel this in the morning.</span> he said, poking a hole in the can, and dumping it into his mouth.
Although the music was loud, he was able to make out the small conversations. People were introducing themselves, and some of them had... odd names. Twitching his four ears, 'Lon turned around. He'd already made up his mind on how he'd jump on this conversation. "Avalon." Pause... only a few seconds, long enough to get people to look at him. "My name's Avalon." And that was that. He stood up, and looked back around the dormitory. At least he'd be able to have a somewhat good time before the room filled with drunks. Hell, he might even get to sing... Siiiiiiiiiiing... Mentally he was already drooling. Music... singing... damnit! He shook his head. "I've had a bad week."
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Shot post, short post, nyaaaaaaaaaa... >_<;</td></tr></table> <span style='color:orange'>"Avalon, Avalon..." </span>Twitch mused aloud, searching her mind for any mention of his name; maybe she had heard someone mention him before. <span style='color:orange'>Uhhhhhh... nope... never heard of 'em before.</span> Okay, so that might be a lie, but who was too say, her memory was crap. Hmph...she didn't know this Hail girl either, but, meh, whatever; the whole purpose of this party was to meet new people. <span style='color:orange'>"What made it a bad week?" </span>Twitch asked Avalon curiously.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I no mind short posts, as long as they're good. The rest... they didn't really care much. Gah! Shut... up... brain! Using his middle three fingers, he tapped the side of his head to clear it a little. Very thankfully, it worked. And he could at least give a decent answer. "Long story short... I got my tails kicked in an official menlo game." It was probably best to leave out the details at this point.
<span style='color:red'>Official huh?</span> he said, turning to avalon, <span style='color:red'>sounds like you had a bad day, maybe you would like a match? It would be fun.</span>
