Timestamp: Day 18 Tessera (Autumn), 81379 Time of Day: 2:30 pm Location: Deep inside the Vivuli Jungle Character: Vela {profile linked in signature} Clothing: White turtleneck, black jeans, and a pair of tall black boots. Vela sat high up on a rock, leaning against a tree. She listens to all the sounds of the jungle around her, and sighs. She came out here with the intention of feeding, and so far that doesn't seem likely. She can hear tiny creatures but, nothing that would satisfy her hunger. Vela sat quietly and watched a mother and her young children down below her, and smiled. She closed her eyes and listened to the sounds around her, and felt the cool breeze on her skin. She needed to feed it was no longer an option, that she could go without. She had waited till the very last moment this time, and her hunger was overwhelming. She could smell the blood from others who are feeding around the jungle, and she shivers. She needed something or someone who would be strong enough to feed off of this time.........

If she took a child the mother would destress. If she took the mother, the children would die. She decided on a.take the child. Looking up she saw the vamp, growling she stalked her way to the other female. "<span style='color:gray'>These are my hunting grounds</span>" shr growled protectively. She had her teeth bared and her claws digging into the ground. Vela calmly looked up at the thill and looked her up and down. "If you want to hunt here I won't stop you. I am looking for something bigger than what I have seen so far." Vela stood up, and started quietly walking towards a cliff that had a lake at the bottom of it. She stood near the edge and looked down. She knew it would be down there.
She watched the female carefully. Normally a 'dragon would not had acted so calm. She walked to where Vewla was standing and looked down as well "<span style='color:gray'>You goin' fishing?</span>[" she aasked batting a paw at the rock's edge.
Vela grinned. "More like going for a swim." Her eyes glittered as the wind picked up and carried her down the cliff and to the lake. She looked down into the water and quickly dove down deep. After a moment she found what she was looking for. In front of her was a large animal, who had been sleeping. She quickly moved towards it, grabbed it and pulled to towards her. She then sank her teeth into it's neck, and fed till she was full. She swam back up to the top and climbed out of the lake, feeling much better. She sat down as she sat down near a fire she had just created, and listened and she knew the thill was still watching her.
She gaped "<span style='color:gray'>You killed a Sabre Dragon, you know how much thier teeth are worth?</span>" she looked at th body, now limp. She flew above the water here it was a prodded it with a paw. It convulsed and she darted away. Flying back over she saw she could fit in it's jaws.
Vela looked over at the thill and produced the teeth. "I know what it was and that was largest prey I could find. Do you want the teeth? I have no use for them." She smiled as she enjoyed the feeling of the blood running through her veins. "So, who are you? Do you hunt here often?"
"<span style='color:gray'>I'm Thela, and, yeah, I venture away only when I crave to eat pendragon.</span>" she said landing and looking up and Vela like a dog. Walking away she looked into the bushes where a lardge hole was. "<span style='color:gray'>I live here when I hunt</span>"
Vela gently tossed the teeth over to Thela, and stood up. She quickly put out the small fire she had made. She glanced over at Thela for a moment. "Well, I am Vela. I don't usually hang around in many areas such as this. Only when I need to hunt, which isn't often anymore." She quietly watched as smaller creatures scurried around and smiled. She glanced up at the sky and decided it was time to go. "Good bye Thela. I am gonna take off, good hunting to you." She started to walk away, her metallic blue streak shining brightly in her hair, against her white sweater.
She shoved the teeth into the water. "<span style='color:gray'>Hunt, after eating a Sabre Dragon? No come, stay awhile, socialize</span>" she said.
Vela stopped and turned back. She walked back over to Thela and sat down. She smiled. "I wasn't trying to be rude. I usually do that with any other vamp that I meet. Just a precaution." She scanned the area but, nothing out of the ordinary was moving about. "So." <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Gah lol sorry lost all ideas after so.</td></tr></table>
She began to say <span style='color:gray'>Well I nor----</span>" she looked to her left, another Sabre dragon sniffed the water, let out a blood curtling roar and started after the two vamps.
Vela jumped up and quickly moved over to the saber dragon, and carefully pinned it from behind. She laughed as it let out a loud sound. She looked over at Thela and grinned. "Go right ahead, I have had my fill. It would be a shame just to let this one go."
She nodded to the poor thing. Flew up and ate, it was almost 8 times her size. She couldn't hold it down, but others could, she guessed.
Vela smiled as she held the saber dragon, in one spot. She felt her stomach grumble, so she sunk her teeth into the other side of it's neck and ate once more. She felt the saber dragon go limp, so she gently set it in the water next to the other. She said quietly,"Unless you are still hungry, perhaps we should pick another spot to sit. They are going to keep coming, and it would be a shame to have to kill them for absolutely no reason, don't you think?"
"<span style='color:gray'>They won't come. You killed the child and the mother returned for it</span>" she said. She walked over to the hole "<span style='color:gray'>You come in here with me, you'll fit</span>"
Vela smiled, and followed Thela over to the hole. "This must be the spot you rest and such when not hunting then?"
"<span style='color:gray'>Yeah, come in</span>" she said slipping into it. She slid down the tunnl and landed on some moss. She moved out of the way for Vela and sat on a cushion.
Vela quickly slid down the tunnel and landed on the same moss. She stood up and moved to sit on another cushion. She looked around. "Nice place you have here. Out of the way but, you can still hear everything."
She smiled "<span style='color:gray'>Took me a week to dig and a month to furnish</span>" she said looking at the decor. There was even a small tree for fresh air.
