Sattu cowered in her corner, clutching her bright pink drink. <span style='color:lightblue'>Eurgh, why do I bother coming here? It's so loud and hot, plus it gives the sexually active 'dragons a chance to fuck each other up in their minds. </span>

She sighed loudly, although not loudly enough to be heard over the music. She sipped her drink. <span style='color:lightblue'>Eurgh.</span>
Sattu grumbled. If she wan't going to dance, she wasn't going to stay. She stretched her legs a bit, and headed towards the door.

    Who: Aneli Qymat
Wearing: jeans, navy blue long sleeve shirt w/ thumb holes</span>

Leaning against the cold stone wall of the Panic Room watching various 'dragons leave, Aneli groaned. <span style='color:green'>I really need to get a life. This is what happens when you aren't social and spend all your free time reading at home.</span> Still unsure of what to do she slid to the ground and sat there listening to the various sounds around her. There were the sounds of young couples "releasing their sexual tension", rumors being spread, and drunkards retching in nearby garbage cans.

Sitting there, she saw a grumbling dancer coming out who looked to be about her age. <span style='color:green'>My amazing spy skills tell me that this one's a dancer. Then again, that could just be the leotard.</span> The dancer walked towards her looking straight ahead and WHAM! Aneli cringed. <span style='color:green'>Maybe I shouldn't have stuck my legs out.</span>

<table width=400 px cellspacing=10 px><tr><td>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td> <div align=justify>Ara leaned against the wall of a school building not that far off from the front entrance of the Panic Club. He was debating to go in or not over a smoke, the place seemed alright from the outside, but he didn't much care for the music at the moment. It was too... 'in your face' for him. Having heard they played electronica he'd come down, only to be slightly disappointed at the pop/house music playing, he was a bit of a stickler.
The door to the club opened and he quickly stamped out his cigarette, he still wasn't quite sure where smoking was and wasn't allowed on campus, with his luck it probably wasn't allowed at all. The lights from inside the building glinted off the O-ring afixed to its suede black collar, as well as his earrings. He noted the thill coming out, she didn't seem like she'd had a very good time, her head was down and she had a sort of annoyed expression, or so it seemed to him.
As the door shut behind her and the light faded his markings began to glow with the newly absorbed lights, he cursed softly, and did his best to hide his forearms behind his back, trusting his hair to semi-cover most of his face. Oh how he hated that glowing mutation sometimes, made life real difficult if you were trying to just hang and lead a normal life. He looked up at the thill for a moment, then nodded his head to the right to keep some hair out of his eye, she was slender and dressed in moreover reflective clothing, aside from that, there was nothing that really singled her out as anyone out of the ordinary, he would have supposed by her build that she had been dancing, but from the way she walked and the fact that she seemed cold rather than warm or cool, as she would have been, he ruled out that infrence.

<span style='color:0096ff'>"What's it like in there, any good?"</span> He asked, wondering if it was really worth it to blow a weeks pay on the experience.</div></td></tr></table>

  4. Sattu curled her legs around her and shot a withering look at the thill who had tripped her. Looking her up and down, she decided that the tripper looked kind of like a druggie. <span style='color:lightblue'>Lovely,</span> she thought.

As she stepped out into the cool air, she was greeted with a rough sounding voice. She, however, spoke with a tinkling bell sound, with a slight accent.
<span style='color:lightblue'>"It is if you enjoy being tripped by druggies who have no purpose in sitting on the floor in a dance club. I swear, I come here every week, for no reason whatsoever. Not even to enjoy watching 'dragons spaz out."</span> she said. <span style='color:lightblue'>"No respect for the dance. It's despicable."</span> she muttered.

  5. <table width=400 px cellspacing=10 px><tr><td>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td> <div align=justify>Well, from the thill's description, the place didn't seem worth it, he highly doubted there were drugs, it was a school building, sure there were drugs in some of the dorms, but the place had to have a few bouncers, the whole druggie part, didn't seem that accurate, but then again, he'd never been in the place so he couldn't really tell. He knew a couple good places, but all of them were at least a train ride away, and though the trains are fast, he'd still have to make it back for classes by afternoon tommorow, that would be a hassle.

When she mentioned "no respect for the dance" his ears flicked forward, he hadn't really been listening, but this one statement singled her out as a dance student, or at least a dancer. Maybe a train wouldn't be that bad, it's not like it was long or anything.

<span style='color:0096ff'>"What kind of music are you into?"</span> He asked. The places he knew about weren't just random, there was a certain air of 'real' everyone there wanted to be there and everyone there breathed music.</div></td></tr></table>

    Sorry it's so short.</span></div>

  6. <span style='color:green'>Intrude or stay out of it?</span> As the two 'dragons were ragging on this oh so wonderful club, Aneli debated whether to verbalize the sarcastic comment that had been sitting in her head for a minute or two now. She was still sore from the druggie comment made by the witch and letting loose her opinion would giver her a bit of satisfaction...

<span style='color:green'>"She's probably into that crap rap that's been so...hot...lately."</span> Aneli muttered to herself not caring if the two flirts heard her. These days she could care less what people thought. Life was dull and people flirting and complaining just made it duller. She wiped off her jeans and stood up. Shoving her hands into her pockets, she attempted to brush past the two dancers but unfortunately today was just one of those days and she bumped into one of them on her way past. Swell.

Sattu's ear swiveled at the druggie's comment. <span style='color:lightblue'>"Please, rap music? I'd eat my legs first."</span> She turned back to the arden. <span style='color:lightblue'>Hmm... somewhat attractive.</span> <span style='color:lightblue'>"I'm mostly into classical, what with the dancing and all."</span> She lowered her lids and tried to look seductively at the arden. <span style='color:lightblue'>"What's your name?"</span>

The druggie pushed past her, knocking her into the wall and falling practically on top of the male she was (attempting) to seduce.

<span style='color:lightblue'>"Oi!"</span> she cried. <span style='color:lightblue'>"Watch it!"</span> Her accent had changed, becoming thicker and slightly deeper, as do most voices when they are distressed or angry. She growled in her throat. <span style='color:lightblue'>"No respect for the dancers either."</span> she muttered.

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>ooc: does anyone else's voice do that?? change when ur pissed or something?</span>

  8. <table width=400 px cellspacing=10 px><tr><td>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td> <div align=justify><span style='color:0096ff'>{Yeah, you're probably right}</span> he thought to the shorter of the two thills. It would be a real pity if the icy one was into the crap all over the radios lately, but music fads came and went, sometimes faster than fashion ones.

Ara pulled out a carton of cigarettes from his pocket along with an electric blue lighter, he lit the end and stuffed everything back in a different pocket. He looked back up that the thills, and shrugged off his bad habit. Mid-drag the thill said she liked classical music, he began to laugh, covering it with a cough that to him seemed convincing seeing as how it really did end up being from the smoke.

<span style='color:0096ff'>"'Scuse me, classical did you say?"</span> His ears swiveled in her direction, making it as though his attention was soley on her, in the mean time however he was conversing with the other thill.

<span style='color:0096ff'>{It's worse than we thought}</span> He thought, flicking his tail and shooting a small smirk in her direction.

<span style='color:0096ff'>"The name's Treaux, call me Ara"</span> He said, ignoring the icy thill's advances, with her last few comments she wasn't doing a very good job of impressing him, she reminded him of the younger 'dragons in his classes, thinking they were better than everyone else because they could do a few clever moves.</div></td></tr></table>

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Eh, no worries 'bout the late reply. I'm sure I'll be the late replier any time now.</span>

<span style='color:green'>"Aneli. Aneli Qymat. Umm, interesting, to meet you."</span> What was she thinking? She had never been this forward before with anyone. It must have been the horrible music from the club getting to her head. Ardens never talked to her. Then again being born in the Black Market, she had never really tried talked to anyone. <span style='color:green'>I seriously doubt that she was lying about the rap...anyone who loves rap would never shoot it down. Besides, classical and rap together? A person would die from the combination.</span>

Seeing that the dancer thill had her mind set on getting this arden's attention, <span style='color:green'>What was his name? Ara? Yes that's it.</span> Aneli shrugged. She was no seductress. Might as well let this thill have him. After all they were sure to get along what with their amazingly compatible tastes in music.

She pulled away from the two, mentally apologizing to Treaux...Ara...for leaving him with...this. <span style='color:green'>I really should leave you two alone. Have fun!</span> She grinned smugly at him and turned to leave.

<table class='ooc'><tr><td> Yeah Si, no problem... I went skating yesterday... only fell twice. :]</td></tr></table>

Sattu had no idea why she was trying to seduce...him. Mentally she went over everything she had done today. <span style='color:lightblue'>Wow... today was boring.</span> Her eyes rolled back as she was hit with a dizzy spell. The mental images stopped on her nursing a bright pink drink. <span style='color:lightblue'>Oh, bloody...</span> Her eyes rolled forward again as her mind cleared. <span style='color:lightblue'>Whoever slipped something in my drink is going to die.</span> Her icy orbs flickered to Anelle, or whatever her name was. <span style='color:lightblue'>Druggies.</span>

<span style='color:lightblue'>"Sattu Maka. No need to mock someone's music of choice, Ara." </span>Her eyes traveled down his body. <span style='color:lightblue'>"Judging by your physique, you must be a dancer as well."</span> She looked to the other. <span style='color:lightblue'>"And you tend to dress to fit into a crowd, though, not for a nightclub. You must be a spy. How... intriguing."</span>

She stepped back into nightclub. <span style='color:lightblue'>Lovely.</span>

  11. <table width=400 px cellspacing=10 px><tr><td>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td> <div align=justify><span style='color:green'>I should leave you two alone. Have fun!</span>

<span style='color:0096ff'>She's kidding, right?</span> Ara thought to himself, personally he didn't find being left alone with Sattu all that comforting, sure she was pretty, but at the moment he wasn't too fond of her. He watched Aneli start to walk away and turned his head to Sattu.

He thought she was rambling on about something he wouldn't find very important or intersting to him, course then she rattled off one of his trades and possibly one of Aneli's. That got his attention, it's not like it wasn't obvious in him, but he'd thought Nel looked like she had genuinely come out to dance. Showed how much he knew.

Now Sattu was walking back into the club, he heard them playing some of that 'crap rap' that had been so fondly mentioned before. He shook his head and stamped out his half-finished cigarette. In a couple of his large strides he'd caught up with Aneli, not sure if Sattu would come right back out and try something new, but it wasn't late yet and as far as he could tell there weren't classes in the morning.

    <span style='color:0096ff'>"Don't mind if I join you, do you?"</span> He asked.</div></td></tr></table>

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Sorry it took so long...midterms and other junk happening...not to mention annoying younger sisters.</span>

<span style='color:green'>Join me? Oh yeah, 'cause every arden wants a piece of this.</span> Aneli sighed and kept walking, waiting for Ara to get bored of keeping pace with a silent, uninteresting thill. <span style='color:green'>He must really dislike that thill back there if he'd rather bear this ongoing silence than a pretty dancer. Oh crap...</span> Aneli groaned, remembering how...insulting...she'd been to the thill. Maybe she should chance getting dissed again and go apologize. After all, she was sure that Ara wouldn't mind running into the "gorgeous thill with an excellent taste in music" again.

Aneli grinned wolfishly. Making her decision, she stopped and turned sharply, slamming into the chest of her follower. She grimaced at her klutziness but regained her composure and looked up at Ara. <span style='color:green'>"Look, I don't know if you actually find me interesting or if this is some kind of joke, but seeing as I'm really not the kind of person who makes fun of an innocent person, no matter how bad her taste in music might be, I'm going to go apologize. You can either come with me or avoid whoever that dancer was altogether and take the wimpy route. Personally, I think that you owe her an apology too."</span> She smiled at him innocently, putting on her doe eyes and then stepped around him to jog back towards the Panic Room.

She didn't look back to see if he was following and taking a deep breath, stepped into the...house of terrible music.

    <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>OOC...again</span>
<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Sorry it's not the best post...like I said previously, midterms and other "extracurriculars" Oh joy. Anyways, hoped I set it up nicely for your future posts!</span>

  13. hey guys, i'm seriously deep in writers block and midterms, so Siaka, you can post next and maybe your post will give me an idea. baggypajamas will post after Siaka, then me, so the posting order will still basically stay the same.

    thanks for understanding.

  14. <table width=400 px cellspacing=10 px><tr><td>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td> <div align=justify><span style='color:0096ff'>"Well they should, you don't seem to be a raving crazy or an annoying person, which is a very good start, and the fact that you don't stand out, even better."</span> Ara said, he didn't elaborate, mostly because he wasn't speaking for the entire student body of Janarden, he was probably voicing less than a tenth of the male population on campus.

When Aneli mentioned apologizing to Sattu, Ara thought he might as well come along for a bit, but not actually apologize, maybe go off and get a drink for a minute then come back once the two had said sorry. Though, once she said this would be the wimpier route, he quickly changed his mind.

<span style='color:0096ff'>"Fine, I'll come, don't think I've said sorry to anyone for a while anyway."</span> He said, rubbing his chin in mock thought. Truth was he been away for a while, off in Nyonge where the was no one around, call it a sabatical if you would. It was quite possible that he'd forgotten his manners... naw.

He followed Aneli back toward the dance club, a wind picked up and he shivered, walking a little faster to catch up.</td></tr></table>

  15. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>OOC</span>
<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Sorry it took so long guys...midterms, ya know? If this turns out short (I'm writing as I go) then I'm sorry I'm just doing a lot of boring school studying this week and I have so much stuff to do.</span>

Aneli shivered. <span style='color:green'>Brrr. Stupid wind. Should've worn a sweatchirt.</span> She bent her head down, trying to protect herself against the wind to retain at least a bit of warmth but no. Of course the wind was blowing from all directions, wrapping her in a blanket of cold. Her teeth chattering, shoulders shaking, she turned to Ara, <span style='color:green'>"We should hurry up. I'm freezing."</span>

As they got nearer to the Panic Room, she hesitated. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. What if the thill didn't want an apology and they had another pointless confrontation? She stopped and turned abruptly, running into Ara yet again. Let's see, tripping the dancer, running into Ara twice, that would make...klutziness-three, Aneli-zero. Great.

    <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>OOC..again</span>
