  1. OOC: well here goes everything. sorry shad, best i can do for now.

    who: Los
    quarter: Mia
    year: 81381
    day: 20
    time: sunset/dusk/evening

    WARNING: MATURE

Los sat on the shore of the beach as the sunset turned to dusk. The sky was a radiant set of colours that would seem almost cliché to him if he could see them. But it made no difference in the end. He let the gentle waves caress his feet as they fiddled in the sand, and the sun slowly sank out of sight. Tonight was a dull evening, nothing was happening, not even the town which was known to be a smuggling port, seemed to have any sort of activity in it. Los breathed a deep breath of cool air and fell back against the white sand. It was peaceful, he loved it. He gazed unseeingly at the sky, aware of only the approaching darkness as the colours changed from orange and pink to dark shades of blue and light purples. Before long, the colours and shapes of the world around him began to dance across his eyes, and he knew it would not be long before he would be able to see clearly again. He let out a sigh, it was beautiful, but something was missing. He was lonely. He missed the blissful sound of friends and loved ones chattering and longed to have someone special to hold by his side. Sadly though he had never met such a person and the only memories of friendship where in his early childhood. Actually, over time he’d become a quite socially secluded individual, which by this time, he had learned to regret. By now the moon had partially risen and his vision had for the most part, cleared. He walked up the shore as the tide came in, and then promptly sat back down on dryer sand. There was nothing to do this eve; there was no point in hunting until later, and nothing in particular had set him off yet, there was just simply nothing. Then he gazed at the water. The moon had illuminated the floor of the clear sea, giving it an indescribably majestic look. Even the shore seemed to be illuminated, its white sands seemingly glowing lightly. He gazed at the water almost unblinkingly, as thoughts of loneliness returned to him. He sighed one last time and closed his eyes, once more letting the silence consume him. He was alone, but he’d give almost anything to change that.

  2. Tris walked the beach, her feline ears twitching back and forth to catch the slightest sound. Her neon green scales glinted in the newly risen moon while her furred haunches rustled in the wind along with her bright blue hair. The cool breeze giving her much energy, she loped across toward the dock on all fours when something hissed in her ears. "We're not alone." Rising, she slowed to a stop. A wine colored serpent slithered out from under her long mass of hair. Trislian's pure white sightless eyes gazed about, now seeing a multitude of colors and fuzzy pictures, but not quite sight. She noticed a dark figure in the distance, a pendragon by it's size and shape, with a blazing tail flame. With this, she assumed it was male. He was gazing out over the ocean, apparently lost in his own thoughts. "Let's approach." she responded, walking closer, now on her hind legs.

  3. a cool breeze brushed against his hair and he turned to let it fully graze his face. But he was caught off guard as he noticed a figured slowly approaching him. She had fine curves, yet was noticeably muscularly defined. her green scales glinted as the moonlight gently rolled off her body; it was an oddly seductive sight.

she was walking along the beach seemingly in his direction. He decided not to pay it much mind and turned his eyes back to the ocean, it wasn't as if had any business with him. He said once more; it would be nice if she did though.

He looked back at her, it did seem as if she was walking towards him. he gazed at her, intently, and noticed a red serpent hidden in the midsts of her hair. she liked animals, i good trait to have. he smiled lightly before turning his head yet again to the sea, partially towards her, and partially at the fact his eyes had become fully operational again.

He tried his best not to look at her as she drew nearer, it was rude after all to stare at a stranger. But his mind betrayed him as he did something he rarely did. He fantasized. Shocked at what he was doing he snapped out of it and attempted to distract himself from anything but the whiteness of the sand. It was a failed attempt, he couldn't help but wonder. should her approach he? would it seem rude? would he seem threatening? he didn't know. Yet again he sighed for what seemed like the millionth time this early eve. It didn't matter anyways, she didn't even know his name.

  4. Trislian felt his gaze upon her, even if she couldn't clearly see it. Walking up to him, she said, "It's a cool night, to be out by yourself." in a voice like black velvet. Sslavania flicked her tounge out, tasting the air around him, further hiding herself in Tris' hair. "I am Trislian. That is all. You can call me Tris, if you prefer a less sylable workout." She said, with a playful grin, white eyes gazing sightlessly out. The only thing she could see was blue, black, and silver, the colors around her swirling with drops of gold, the stars. "And you are?"

  5. His ears twitched as she spoke to him. Did he hear her correctly? he looked around to see if there was anyone else around, but sure enough there wasn't. Just him, her, and her serpent, which was currently trying to hide itself from him.

He looked at her deeply, examining every aspect of her face which now bore a grin. His gaze halted at her eyes...she was blind. Los felt a twinge of compassion for her, he knew what it felt like to not know the light of day. But even with the absence of colour in her eyes, she seemed radiant under the light of the moon.

"Los," he said after a moment, his voice ..."My name is Los. Its a pleasure to meet you Trislian." His voice was soft and calm despite the awkwardness of the situation, after all he didn't want to let on that he wasn't used to this sort of situation.

"It is a cool night isn't it, quite a lovely one too at that," he said staring at the glowing water briefly. " But alas I have no home or even friends to call my own, let alone company to spend the eve with," He noted after, with a small note of depression behind it.

He looked at her face again, that was still sporting a playful grin. She was hoping to have some fun it seemed. He smiled gently, this time letting it remain.

" You are free to share the shore with me if you wish, but i must ask, to what wondrous occasion do I owe the pleasure of seeing your lovely face this eve?" he said, a soothing tone now lingering in his voice.

He was going to say more but the serpent was still wiggling in her hair. " You don't need to hide sweet serpent, I mean you no harm, and i am gifted enough to speak to you freely" he said in serpent tongue to Sslavina, hoping to perhaps impress Tris a little bit.

What an interesting turn of events, where the thoughts that where running through his head. He inwardly smiled to himself. it wasn't much, but he wasn't alone anymore; he was thankful.

  6. She continued to stand, slightly impressed at his display of courage when confronting Sslavania and that he could talk to her. "Yes, it is a lovely night," she agreed. "Sorry for my rudeness. This is Sslavania," she said, the red serpent coming into sight, it's scales glinting in the now full moon, "my life-long companion and friend. A pleasure to meet you, Los. I too, have no family or close friends. Sslavania has been all I've needed for some time." Sslavania, hearing this, rubbed against Tris' chin and Tris rubbed her back softly. Trislian felt the compassion in his voice and the atmosphere around him. She assumed it was because he realized her inability to see. "I don't need your sympathy." she started, "I've been this way my whole life. It is no hinderance to me."

  7. he chuckled lightly as she defended herself."I wouldn't call it sympathy," he said maintaining the calm in his voice. "More along the lines of empathy I guess you could say. Though i have been fortunate to retain my eyesight during the eve. But its good to know that you don't consider it a frustration." He looked at her and Sslavania, rubbing each other, Smiling at how close they where.

"Tell me, what brings you to the shores of the Terhesian?" he asked, his voice intrigued by the obscurity of someone so lovely being in his presence.

Another breeze hit him, and thats when he realized that he was over heating. Perhaps being so nervous had caused an adrenaline rush of some sort. But whatever the reason was, he was beginning to boil under his fur, and it was most unpleasant. Still though, he did not show any signs of anxiety or fear.

He stood in a swift fluent moment, letting his cloak fall to the sandy floor. Then slowly he walked to the waters edge, letting his feet soak in the mild water. he let out sigh of delight as his feet came back down to a reasonable temperature. The water was still a glow under the moon, and it now shimmered as ripples where created by his moving feet.

He looked back to her now with a smile on his face. "The water's lovely, care to join me?"

  8. Slightly embarrassed at her defensiveness, she looked down. Then, she noticed that he was acting awful strange. 'Oh well,' she thought to herself, 'must be the weather or something.' Sslavina laughed at her thoughts, finding this little ordeal quite amusing herself. He asked what brought her out here tonight, in response she said, "I often come here to be left with my thoughts. There's something about the ocean that has a calming feeling to it. I can see shapes and colors, and sometimes even have normal sight through Sslavina's eyes. When I look out at the ocean now, I see silvers, blues, and greens all swirling together. Also, I like the feel of the ocean breeze. It feels nice. My intentions of coming tonight were to go for a nice run along the beach and think." She shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot. Because of the awkward bend in her knees, which resembled feline's legs, she was a bit hunched bipedal. He stepped out into the water, then offered her to join him. "I would be honered." she said. She went out there and stretched her scaled, bat-like wings, Sslavania slithered down her body and went into the water herself, enjoying the coolness on her scales.

  9. "Honored?" he grinned "hardly, it is I who is honored to be in your presence." He smoothly walked further into the water letting it go just over his waist. He admired her, as she stood on her hind legs and entered the water; it was a shame to know she had no idea of how lovely she looked. "Your right though, the water is quite calming i find, and it is a perfect place to collect ones thoughts." He turned around as Tris stretched her scaled wings and Los was yet again struck with awe. It was as if it was something out of a painting. Her scales gleamed under the moon as the water illuminated her from below, defining her curves gently. lastly behind her an empty shoreline sat mostly untouched, save for two sets of footprints that led into the water.

He needed to say something, he couldn't be silent. But what he said next he nearly hit himself for.

"I wish you could see just how beautiful you look tonight," he said, instantly clamping one hand over his mouth after saying it.

"~Did I just say that?!!~" he said in disbelief of his own actions. It took all his will to prevent from hitting himself. How could he have said that out loud, it was irrational, foolish, embarrassing even! There was a gut wrenching feeling in the pit of his stomach, "~what now?~"

  10. As soon as she stepped into the water, her long hair got wet at the tips, considering how long it is. She looked up and admired the stars above, and then saw Los staring at her. She smiled. She wasn't used to this kind of attention. Did he find her attractive? She didn't think she was. It was as if he were reading her thoughts, for just then he said, "I wish you could see just how beautiful you look tonight." She just stared, open mouthed. Did he really just say that? Trislian blushed and looked down, not knowing what to think. No one had ever told her she was beautiful. She was blind with mismatched scales and fur that was an odd shade of neon green and her blue hair stuck out like a sore thumb and her best friend is a snake that she talked to. The only thing normal about her, if that word could be used to describe her, were her wings. When she finally calmed down enough to think, she said, "Um, thanks. I don't know what to say. You're very attractive yourself," which was actually the truth.

  11. He almost lost balance at what she said. "he" was attractive?! Was that even possible? But then his train of though was cut off as he looked at her. He could see the doubt in her eyes at his comment, It seemed as though she had yet to hear something like that about her. Los took in a deep breath..."breath, remember to breath" he told himself, knowing that he might actually forget to do so.

He gathered he couraged and slowly walked his way over to her, his heart pounding like african drums. As he approached her it became increasingly hard to keep a steady breathing rate...without passing out. he stood now before Tris, his heart ready to burst at any minuet. Then slowly he took one of her hands, put it in his, and put his other hand on her cheek.
"I mean it," he said, his voice begining to become more passionate.
"your beautiful, you shouldn't doubt yourself so."
It was becoming increasingly hard to gather speach, but he was being fulled by an adrenaline rush. He wanted to reasure her he ment it, but had it not been for that tiny adrenaline rush he probably would have not done what he had next.

Still holding her hand and one hand on her cheek, he swallowed one last gulp of air...and pecked her gently on the cheek...

"I truly mean it" he whispered into her ear, for once letting emtion flow through his voice. Then he let his hands fall to his sides. He knew he had just made an ass of himself, but at least he'd been honest. He couldn't take the rejection that he thought would soon follow, so he turned and began to walk back towards the shore

  12. Tris' blood was rushing to her head. She could barley hear Los' passionate words over the beating of her heart and the pounding of her head. Her eyes wide, she touched the spot where he had pecked her cheek. Quickly, she regained her composure. She didn't want to appear weakened in front of him, though it was clear that he was just as nervous as she. Returning to reality, she saw his glumness and grabbed him by the wrist as he made his way back to the shore. "You're not leaving already, are you?" she asked. "That's...that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me," she stammered, "thanks." She returned his kiss, but this time, it wasn't on the cheek. Releasing him, she blushed, embarrased by what she had just done. Had she gone too far? What did he think of her now, she wondered.

  13. as her lips softly pressed against his, his eyes grew wide and Los began to experience something utterly new to him. It had been as though something had shattered the world around him and all that was left was him...and her. Emotions ran through him that he could not explain, things that where irrational yet so practical for the moment. Los had fallen for her...

Then almost as fast as it happened, it ended. Los could do nothing but stand, the wind blowing gently across his hair and fur as he attempted to grasp what had just happened. It took all his will to gather himself for a moment, just enough time to gather some words that resembled speech.

"did...you just..." he whispered to the point of almost being inaudible.

suddenly there was gust of wind and he snapped out of his trance. He looked at her, embarrassed probably just as he was. He didn't want to let her go, not tonight for the very, very least.
He gathered himself, swallowed his stomach and turned back around to face her.

"The sweetest thing?" he said, regaining the sound in his voice. he grabbed her hand again, putting it in his, grasping it gently. He would not let it go unless she wanted him too. He could see the anticipation of his answer in her eyes, he had to say something. But words where exactly what eluded him as he looked her in the eyes, and closed the gap between them.

"I will stay will stay as long as you want me too," was all he could manage to say before wrapped his free arm around her, and passionately kissed her precious, soft lips. Fear had fled from him as he did so, he no longer cared if she hated him for this, he wanted her to know how he felt, and if she did dislike him for this, he would gladly except any punishment she bestowed upon him.

  14. They shared a moment as he returned the kiss. Her knees would've failed her, if it hadn't been for his strong arm holding her. They parted and she looked into his eyes, and saw that he meant what he said. She didn't know what to think about all of this, everything had happened so suddenly. She leaned her head on his chest. "After my parents died, I'd never had anyone else before," Sslavania started curling around her ankles as she was saying this, "except for Sslavania, of course." She smiled and stepped back a bit. Sslavania's sight-gift that they shared was weakening. She'd never used it for so long before. Her world of darkness returned and she sighed. "I can no longer see you. My sight is gone again. But I can hear you, I hear your heavy breathe and the beating of your heart." she said. "Why is it beating so fast?"

  15. " It beats loudly so that you may hear the the truth of my emotions" he breathed, taking a step forward so that she could hear it better.

" After living a life of pure solitude, to see, to hold, to talk to someone like you has become something I have desired for a long time. I...don't know how to describe what I feel for you...I...I...I love you," he murmured, embarrassed at what he was saying. But despite the low tone in his voice a soft confidence resounded all around .Though he was sure of the way he felt for her, he was unsure if he had used the right words

He brushed her hair softly as he spoke, wanting to somehow seem closer to her. "Your heart beats hard too, for what reason does it beat so?" he said, letting a gentle smile grow across his face. "~The night is still young~" he said to himself, it was true. There was much he wanted to know about Trislian, as well as much he wanted to do with her.

  16. OOC:You're going to have to give me some time to respond. I've had a lot to deal with this weekend and not much inspiration right now. Sorry. But, hopefully, I shouldn't be too long.

  17. OOC: No problem take your time

  18. "I love you" he had said. She repeated those three words over and over in her mind. She had shielded herself from those emotions for such a long time, so why was she overcome now? How could he, one simple male, break down the walls she'd spent years building? "I think.." she started, "I think I love you too." She kept her head on his warm chest, a single tear fell from her sightless eyes. She felt his hand run through her hair. What a gentle touch he had. She looked up and caressed his face. "So what now? Where do we go from here?" Tris was lost. She had no idea what to do. She'd never been in love before. The last time she ever said those words to someone was before her mother had died.

  19. The tight knot in his chest released once he heard a positive response to his confession. still his fingers ran idly through her hair, caressing her head slowly.

"what now?" he repeated, thinking hard about the answer. Truth was he was just as baffled as she was. Solitude had prepared him for everything, but this; The question was so simple, how could it possibly have such a difficult answer.

He went silent again and let her breath flow across his fur. he wiped the tear from her eye and proceeded to wrap his arm softly around her head. he opened his mouth as to speak but stopped, being unsure of what to say, closed it again. He was afraid.

"I'm not very sure myself...this is very new to me. Come the morning I will take leave of this town, maybe...if you wished it...you could join me. As for tonight, my legs are beginning to feel chilled, perhaps we could find somewhere to lay?" He said at last. It wasn't much, but then again, he wasn't much either.

  20. Tris's heart just went from racing fast to a dead stop. "Go with you? Leave here..." Well, it's not like she had anything left here to stay for anyway. But even with that thought in her mind, all sorts of other things were racing through it at the same time. "Of course I want to come with you. I have nothing else here, but where are we going? I don't want to be a burden to you..." she trailed off. She couldn't just make this decision by herself, though. That would be selfish. Trislian would also have to talk to Sslavina.

Sslavina listened to all of this emotional display with indifference. 'So, master Tris is planning on leaving this place.' "Tris," she whispered in mind-speak, "I will go wherever you go, of course. For now, though, it is late, and you are getting cold. We have not made plans for slumber tonight, where will we sleep?"

Blushing, Trislian stepped back a bit. In all of this drama, she had forgotten all about where they would sleep for the night. Sslavina was right, they hadn't made plans and it was too late to set up a tent. "I will go, as long as you're sure I won't be a burden, and my faithful Sslavina has agreed to follow me as well, but she makes a point. Her and I have nowhere to spend the night tonight." She hung her head a bit, the claws on her feet retracting in and out out of nervousness.
