The ceremony to begin the Ball was due to begin any minute now, and the first ballroom was already full, the orchestra playing Mozart; "A Lost Master" as Revol liked to refer to the dead musician. Sanders and the rest of the team were already downstairs, using new, living bodies they had transferred to just the night before. Sanders wore a White Tuxedo, to match his albino genes and white eyes, while the rest of the team wore black. Revol himself would be forced to wear one of the traditional suits, his a dark shade of the blackest gray. The guests were fairly anxious, as the general crowd showed, shuffling around, enjoying the appetizers that waiters and waitresses carted around, and speaking softly amongst themselves, this poltician meeting with that, this gang member trying to avoid punching his rival in another, and the commoners just seeming to be enthralled by the general experience. After a few more minutes of pacing, Revol shed his battlesuit for the first time in months, and dressed in the Tuxedo, with the help of Cassie. "The guests are still pouring in Sir, I think you should get thing underway and make an appearance before it becomes too packed, we're already having to expand into the second ballroom." Revol looked at the hologram from the corner of his eye. "I know that, alright, I'm heading down. Once I'm done the ceremony, feel free to open the ballrooms. After a few more minutes, open up the private rooms and the activity rooms. I know theres quite a few gamblers who came just to use our facilities..." Cassie vanished, and Revol made his way into the elevator, with an annoyed look on his face. "Should I reconsider?..." He asked himself, his finger hovering over the button, and then with a shrug, pressed it...
An unusual pair shifted through the crowd, parting it easily as they strode through the mass. The reason for the crowd's reluctance to rub elbows with the two thill became evident as they broke into a more open space. The taller of the two, dressed in black and white silks and adorned with traditional tribe jewellry, was casting her cold gaze about the room, fixing her unforgiving oculars on any who got just a little too close to her charge. Her hand rested openly on the gilt and leather hilt of her katana, the sword more for decoration than anything else, but it's precense was enough to remind those about that the reclusive mountain hermit was not one to be trifled with, especially when in the home of those who had disturbed 'her mountains'. Her charge, a shorter, more feminine and youthful anubian, was dressed in her people's attire of loose white linen and gold ornaments studded with precious stones. Her dark fur gleamed under the many lights, throwing off blue and silver highlights and accenting the curves of her bodice. She seemed to be apprehensive, her eyes down cast and flicking to and fro with every sudden movement around her. She was trailing behind the gray half-anubi, Palekusa, with her hands folded infront of her. She smiled at a few 'dragons she recognized from her families many formal dinners, exchanging polite -if a bit breif- hellos with those dignitairies her family were in particularly good standing with. A silent exchanged passed between the two, and Palekusa blended seamlessly into the crowd, disappearing from sight within seconds. Cho Seitzu knew that dispite not being able to see her so called 'body guard', Palekusa would be keeping her sharp eyes on her at all times. Slightly comforted by this fact, Cho let herslf relax slightly, her posture becoming less rigid and more natural. She smiled pleasantly to a few nearby ardens before accepting a glass of some foreign alcohol from a nearby waitress. Sipping her drink delicately, she wafted her way towards the edge of the room and settled herself in one of the rather posh chairs.
Current Music for all three characters..Through the Iris by 10 Years. DragMES was in the basement of the complex, pondering if he should go, he watched the secuirty cams halfheartedly, waiting to see something that was almost a bit freakish as he was, yet so far he saw none..... ------------------------------ Tian walked in wearing a rather dazzling oriental dress and stood about half a foot taller due to really really high healed boots underneath it. She dressed in a neogoth-asain look with little red stains to resemble blood tears down her cheek and little blades holding her hair up in an X. She intended to stayy all three days...and in each she would most likley steal something...she smiled deviously as she walked down the halls, getting stairs from both Men who found her rather hot...and and angry looks from their wives. "This is going to be some real fun shit" she said to herself in a whiper. ------------------------------- Only a few people behind Tian in the line to get in was Temyc. He wasnt dressed fancy, but he carried a backpack slung over his shoulder. Dressed to not-impress wore torn black jeans, a torn up black shirt and his trench. He snarled at a woman who hawked at him and he walked in...he wasnt really here for the fun..but later he would have to dress approaitly to get near the man he intended to steal from..the man who stole form his family. He made his way down the hall eyes staring dead ahead of him........
Walking in amougnst the crowd, a few parted for him knowing his history. Many began to whisper and point. This time however, Drsuj didn't carry himself on four paws. He had made it his mission to get back to his semi-normal self. So, he carried himself, however slightly hunched as though he'd much rather be on four paws, on his back legs. He had managed to slip into a black tux jacket with no sleeves, in case he truely felt uncormfortable in his normal two pawed self, and a pair of torn jeans. Many more parted as they saw a new air he held about himself. He was now able to glance down on those he scorned rather than up.
Shadow Had finally made it to the Base, He needed to get out after his personal problems and with this being work involved it was the perfect excuse to be social. Dressed hansomely in a black tuxedo he walked forward, flashing an invite aswell as a smile to a pretty femme on his way in. He was amazed at the size of the place, its' careful design that was grander than the grandaddy' of interior design. His tail flickered brightly casting patterns on some of the 'dragons around him. Gradually he made his way to the drinks, lifting a glass of red wine to satisfy his pallette. His pupiless eyes staring out for a familiar face.
Veaji stepped into the building. She didn't know why she wanted to come. Was it to mingle with the crowd? Was it to see someone familiar? Or was it just to get into trouble like she always seem to do? But for the first time in a very long time, Veaji had let her heart to lead her. And it lead her here... to the Lost base of all places. She was dressed in a black elegant dress. Plain and simple but yet showed off her curves and also cleavage. She had bought it with her own money that she stashed somewhere in Bhim. It is a miracle that nobody found it. Her necklace of seashells adorned her neck and she was without her sword. Her gun however, was strapped around her tigh under her knee length dress. Just in case. She felt plain beside those who were dressed with more eyecathing dressed. But she decided not to care and kept walking, hoping that she would have something to do or someone to meet soon.
Shiden and Kira walked in, also dressed in black tuxes. How did I let you talk me into this Kira? Shiden asked, hating these formal get togethers. Because you know your girl-mmmpphh He started to say, shiden covering his mouth and glaring at him. Nobody but you, me, her, and Revol know about this. It would be unwise to say anything that might compromise that, got it? He said, the tip of his spear showing in the back of his suit. Kira gulped, knowing full well what he ment. Crystal He said meekly, moving away from shiden and looking around, spotting tian. He walked over to he and placed one of his hands on her back. Nice to see you here, Tian. Shiden moved away from kira as well and went looking for nykjek, still fuming about being draggged to this.
Nykjek finnaly found the place she was looking for. Dressed in a sleek ruby dress she made her way into th crowd a simple chain shining around her neck in silver glory. Her bangles jingled as she walked forward slowly, her emerald eyes searching the crowd for the one she was hoping to see here tonight. Her hair fell across her face in perfect curls as she turned her maw in different directions, Lips pursed together as she wondered if he was maybe not coming. Shadow finally spotted veaji, she looked stunning. He even found himself choking on his drink as she looked around her. So rather than shouting at her he would be more discreet. Hey, didn't know you were coming... he 'pathed
Out of Character

Can somebody join in a plot for temyc since Adelos dropped out for me?

Tian Gasped and turned to see her love "What are you doing here?" she looked up at him. She wanted to give him a kiss but she whispered "Im single tonight...trying to get us a good amount of cash..." "Might have to do things...if its alright?"
understand, but that doesn't mean I can't have a dance with you, does it? Kira said, smiling at her. Shiden saw nykjek and had to force himself not to let his jaw drop. She was stunning to him, the ruby dress hugging her form and accentuating her curves. He walked up to her and cupped her chind, staring into her eyes. I've been looking for you He said, smiling at her and giving her a small hug, inhailing her scent.
Out of Character

:P I will if yeh want Sinok. Temyc doesn't seem like the type that'd scare Cho too bad

Delicately sipping the dregs of her beverage, Cho Seitzu remained seated -poised as ever- as she handed off her now empty glass to yet another waitress. The alcohol still warm in her stomach and tingling in her throat, she rose from her cushioned place, glancing around in polite awe at the sudden influx of 'dragons since she had first taken her seat. The anklets about her digitigrade feet chiming quietly as she brushed past a small group of conversing ardens, Cho headed for what seemed to be the hub of activity, making a point of not stareing at the few couples that had united since the gathering had started.
After about 15 minutes in his room Temyc had changed and checked his palm to find make sure on who it was he was going to try to get close to....he made his way to banquest halls...there she was...he sipped on a glass of water a she watched her from a distance ----------------------------------- Tian giggled and patted her hand on his pelt. "Yes one dance...but no more....I dont want to jepordize this..i need new blouse and a new entertainment system" she laughed.
A lock of hair fell to the front of her face as she reached for a glass of wine. She brushed it away irritably. Her braid wasn't lose. Her fringe just didn't want to stay with the rest of her hair. Sipping slowly, she aimlessly walked around the place before a familiar voice made itself into her head. She scaned the place for the source before replying. But of course, she couldn't find him. Too many people in one place makes it hard. Ah... I suppose I am unpredictable. Am I not? she 'pathed back to him. Now it is my turn to say that I had not expected you to come.
Her eyes smiled up at him as she let her head rest slightly in his paw, gently she brushed her hands on his shoulders, as she kissed his upturned palm. Her ear flicked happily as she felt the butterflies raise from the gentleness of a hug from her loved one. I was looking for you aswell... She commented quietly, taking this oppurtunity to snatch a kiss from him. She couldn't wait for the night to unfold, dancing with a certain someone had been her thoughts for the entire day. Decidely her wings had been shifted away for the evening, She had been mistaken for an Anubi by a half breed at the doors, which in her case was a compliment. ------------------------------------------------ I wasn't planning to... But i never want to forget the sight of you in a dress... Shadow added cheekily to his message. True he still hurt, but it was getting better, and a night out would replenish his spirits hopefully.
Shiden smiled at her, placing one of his hands on her back and the other on hers, leading her to the dance floor. She was not the only one who had been looking forward to this. He had been distracted all day, zoning out and thinking about her. Kira nodded, understanding. okay, But don't try for him. He said, pointing at shiden. He's my friend, and i don't want his relationship broken up, okay? He said, snatching a quick kiss from her, satisfying himself for the night.
Drsuj glanced about, growling a bit as he made his way to the bar. Getting a drink, he turned around and held it a bit shakily in his hand. He smiled a bit, it had been a long time since he had enjoyed a drink like this. He brought the glass to his lips and sipped at the scarlet colored fluid contentedly.
Qvysic Riuuproda stood enraptured in front of the tall, chrome-framed mirror before her. The face that looked back at her was hauntingly familiar, as if she’d seen it long ago, but no… the two couldn’t be the same. Kiv saw in her mind’s eye how she had looked before—face fuller, fur brighter, horns absent and her eyes—oh, her eyes, bright, burning blue, brimming with youth and magic, thrumming with power… But that face was long gone. In its place was that of a brown-backed fighter, yellow fur and yellow eyes, twisted horns with spider-spun veins reaching behind her: outcast. There was hope, though. In the days between meeting Remi’s fallen prince and the ball, Kiv had come so much closer to freedom—the band of sapphire around her ink-blot pupils had expanded, and she stood upright for the first time in 24 years. It came at price, however, this taste of freedom—only lattau, a relatively rare concoction, could lessen the bonds around her connection to Fronima, and the energy it needed to fight them came from her. The massive dose she had taken—without Cero’s knowledge, of course—would leave her in bed for days, if not longer… But it was worth it, she thought as she lifted the hem of her skirt a tad, marveling at the feel of clothing, true clothing, and what nice clothing, a red Anubian dress, light and flowing, gold thread woven into the embroidered waist, neckline, and bottom hem. She’d needed to sell hours of her time as a night guard to get it, like the drug, it was worth it to feel normal again. Soon she’d really be back to herself, and then… Kiv shook her head. Planning could wait. She was here for a ball. The sand-colored woman scanned the crowd for Cero, eyes unusually bright—perhaps feverishly so, though of course she had not noticed anything odd about her reflection.
Kajy hesatated as he came to the front doors that would lead to much spoken of lost ball. He mused as he reached a paw out to grab the handle and someone else's hand beat him to it. A pendragon clad in black...a butler, he chukled. It had frightend him for a moment and he had braced himself for a punch. He let his musles losen and relax no one would point or jeer at him here. He would be safe in these doors, maybe not after... but during. He had put his full title on the name list, for perhaps the first time in a long while he felt proud of his heratage and he stepped through the doors with the grace of an Anubin Prince. There was loud classical music and pendragons dressed in all colors, most exotic and bright. He saw colors and shades he'd never seen before, it was as if a rainbow was danceing right in front of him. He looked at his own wardrobe it was simple and reflected his culture. A pair of red shorts that were tight around his thighs and grew looser toward his knees were they plumed out a little and were held snug with glod embrodery. He wore no shirt and his muscler black chest stood out aganist the red and gold makeing him look very princely indeed, if you manage not to notice the under fed look of his torso. Around his neck hung the eye of horus along with sevral other gold chains and rubies. His eyes were done up with the traditional makeup of his people and were lined in gold. The effect made his eyes look large and almon shaped. His tail flame was burning red and was adorned with golden rings, that tinkerd when he walked. Kajy walked slowly pauseing once and a while to glance over his shoulder as if to reasure himself that the walls wern't going to close in on him. He looked for his compainion hopeing that she'd stuck to her word and that she'd be here tonight. Ah, at last he caught her eye and a smile brushed his black lips. He motioned toward her and met her in the middle of the floor.
The elevator doors opened, and Revol caught Sander's eye as soon as he strode out. You're late Revol... I know, give me a break, I never was good with these formal parties... Well hurry up, the line is starting to back up, one ballroom won't be able to hold them all for long... Going... He shook hands with a few people, and exchanged a few smiles with others, his deep ancient eyes taking in everything around him. He was used to masses of humans, fleshy bodies, long dexterious fingers, lacking claws, holding up glasses of wine, Shoes on rather small primitive feet, walking through the high classes of his own race, he felt somehow... Out of place... He eventually made his way to the main stage, where the orchestra had ceased playing the ancient music. Taking a small heatset from his tuxedo pocket, he fitted it to his ear, and cleared his throat, the speakers all throughout the base suddenly being filled with his voice, edited and fine tuned by Cassie to sound just perfect, with no squeaks or tremors. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to thank you all for coming, I can see we have a very large crowd, so I'll try not to keep you for long. My name is Commander Revol, of "The Lost" and fortunately for me, I get to be your host for the festivites these next few days, although if you're only here for the night, I promise I won't hunt you down." He winked, and there was a slight ripple of laughter, the crowd unsure if it was a joke or not. Servants and Caterers continued their rounds, from the kitchens to the ballroom and back, although a few of them had even stopped to listen, several of the cooks standing at the swinging doors to the large kitchens, listening to the speech. "Now, without further ado, I'll let the ball begin! Oh, and Mr. Nemetsaj, make sure not to eat too much." He waved to a hefty pendragon with greasy fur and gluttony in his eyes, and the crowd rippled with laughter again, just as the doors to the other ballrooms, activity rooms, and private rooms, opened up. "Now enjoy yourselves! Dinner will be served at Nine O'clock sharp, our chefs have been slaving away at at least 20 hot stoves to bring you the best Ramath-Lehi has to offer! Lets make this an occasion to remember!" He stepped down, and the orchestra began packing up, getting ready to move to another ballroom. They were replaced by a band Sanders had selected earlier in the week, by the name of the "Ugly Beauties", a band specializing in soft rock. Another band was also setting up, in yet another ballroom, based around a lead female singer, and a few floors down, in one of the activity rooms, where strobe lights and wild times ruled supreme, a DJ was getting ready to play several club tunes. Revol slowly made his way towards the elevator yet again, stopping and chatting every once in awhile with an ally of the group, or a politician. He eventually came to Cho Seitzu, giving her a smile and a handshake, before moving on, and catching sight of Shiden and Nykjek together. He huffed respectfully, and moved on, giving Drsuj a pat on the back from behind before giving a slight sigh and moving into the elevator, the doors closing with a hiss. Several entities watched him from the corner of their eyes, as he went, before turning back to what they were doing... "Excellent speech sir." "Thank you Cassie, you did write parts of it, remember?" "Of course." "I'm going to take a short nap, please wake me up when dinner rolls around, I'll be expected to make another appearance and have dinner with our highly esteemed guests..." "Confirmed" He wandered into his room, and flopped down on the bed, not even bothering to take off his gray tuxedo. His eyes were closed in seconds...
