Ooc: Fey, wearing black shorts and crystal bangles 30 Tessera 81380 Fey had been running for hours since getting of the plane to get here the acient city or so the text-book said. Once he rounded the final hill he came to see his acient history the excitement evident on his feline face "Wow" What a Big pile of rubble Fey thought as he looked around. it was obivously a beautiful city originally but now.... so he sad downhearted on a nearby overturned piller staring at his tailflame
<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Clothing: Black turtleneck, baggy beige breaches.</span> Layovers. Bah. This particular layover was going to be spent wandering the ruins, their dusty...dust-ful-ness surveyed with a poised brow. He had never much cared for any culture's history besides that of his own (curse them all and their silly ways), although Ganymede grudgingly recognized the area's appeal and why so many flocked to this location. As he stalked along, the silvery-white Anubi paused near a sad-looking fellow. Perhaps it was his ill humour at having to spend the better part of two days here which compelled him to speak. "And what is your problem, eh?" Nobody could possibly be having a worse day than he. So says Nature.
"Oh hey its just I was expecting more when i came here than just rubble and twistedmetal" he said while slowly getting up But when he turned to look at the speaker he realised this anubi was loving it for that reason. so with a sigh and a slight grr he asked a question that goes completly against the grain. "since you are having such a good time here why dont we look around together" and not talk about our past or troubles "Theres boound to be something more interesting round here we are near the old theater district so what you say" "And im Fey"
Alone. Wasn't that how he always ended up? Corvus gazed down from the sky where he seemed to float like a leaf on a breeze. He saw two figures on the ground far below and debated whether to 'drop in on' them. It might be nice to meet some new potential friends...
Ooc: Hey! Corvus! That's that name of my character in my NaNoWriMo! =P Okay, for those smooth brownie points, i'm in xD Who?: Phaedra Wearing?: Normal attire As the fae wandered alone, not really taking in the "scenery", she was thinking about how the ruins came about themselves. Who made it? What type of people lived here? Who crushed all their efforts by destroying the city? All these were typical thoughts of an aspiring writer, or in this case, Phaedra. Brain-dead for a story, and needing to get out anyway, she had travelled to Machina Ruins to gather ideas and plots. Perhaps she could've even taken a photograph, so that she'd still have a picture of the marvel. Pity she'd left her camera at home. Meandering around the edge of the ruins, of course she eventually spotted Fey'yore and Ganymede. Now usually, sensible people would hide from two boys that looked like they were in a gang, and looking for trouble. Phaedra didn't work like that. <color="lavender">"Hey!"</color> She yelled, quickening her pace to get to them faster.
The Anubi's hairline devoured his brow when Fey proposed they walk around a bit more. He seemed to be arguing inwardly with himself on whether he ought to. Oh what the hell. "Sure, why not," he agreed at length. Nothing else to do around here. "Ganymede," he offered after Fey introduced himself. At that moment a dark tan female Pendragon ambled up with a pleasant 'Hey'. Gany half-turned toward her with a barely-suppressed sigh. ...This is what I get for starting random conversations. And what exactly was floating around above their heads?
Wearing: Cargo Vest (like those worn by some earth archaologists) Carrying: Messenger Bag Corvus saw a third figure join the group and made his decision. He slid out of the thermal and slowly descended towards the group. When he was still about ten feet up, he folded his wings and lightly dropped to the ground. The three were looking at him he started to think that this might not have been the best idea. Oh well, too late now. "Uh, Hi."
Well this makes rummaging through the ruins more interesting "more for the party eh. any of you happen to go the Acadamy at all" If any more people come we might as well make a gang "well we might as well start exploring, but i must admit there needs to be some more books done about this place" Walking toward the nearest semi-solid building. it was staring to rain and with it a faint blue light appeared in the distance. thinking he was seeing things he disided to ignore it but after looking at it a little longer he had to voice his question. "does anyone know what that is because I sure as hell dont" pointing at the annoying light Ooc: well im glad so many of you guys joined in :)
Gan shook his head in his own response to Fey's question about any of them currently attending the academy. What exactly was this place anyway? Obvious a school of learning and thought, but it was so damned popular. Must be fairly presitigious. Ganymede made a mental note to check it out some day. As they walked, he noted the strange blue light as well, and shook his head. "P'r'aps some sort of energy source?"
"Books! Awesome. Hey, you guys like to read?" She talked fast and exitedly, barely giving them enough time to respond. Her chatter was continually going, seeming as though it would never stop, and had sort of merged into a drone by the time Fey'yore mentioned the acadamy. Here she adruptly stopped. "No, but I know i'll have to go someday." She sighed, kicking a rock into a crumbled building. The rain drops bounced off her head and shoulders, but instead of dampening her mood, it only seemed to improve it. "Oh goodie, I love rain!" She said, back to normal. She looked at the blue light the 'dragon had pointed out for a second, before looking away. "Oh, great..." She grumbled, as stars clouded her vision for the time being. She hated it when that happened.
"could be an energy source does any one wont to find out" Fey was running towards the light he didnt bother looking back he hoped that at least one person joined him whatever it was could be interesting and at least a little usefull
Corvus turned his face toward the sky and squinted against the rain. Then he dropped to all fours and was off after Fey, galloping toward the mysterious light.
...Aaaaand Ganymede followed suit, jogging to keep up with long, easy strides in his bipedal form. What. The. Hell.
She stumbled after the ardens, her arms outstretched as she tried to follow them, regardless of her blindness. "Guyyysss...." Phaedra moaned, tripping over rocks and branches in an attempt to go after them. Losers.
The rain got harder and the sky darker. "Hey people arnt we forgeting someone" Shouted Fey while skidding to a halt why are we not working as a team anyway The others were speeding ahead oblivious to the poor person trailing behind, so Fey waited for her to catch up. Ooc:sorry if its a little short
Corvus looked over his shoulder to see why Fey had stopped and saw Phaedra stumbling after them. Huh? Oh, she's bli- Corvus tripped over an exposed root and was sent tumbling several feet, finally coming to a stop against one of the smaller piles of rubble.
Gan came to a halt as well. Strange...he hadn't picked up on her blindness when she first approached the group. Walking uncaringly past Corvus and Fey, he came up to Phaedra and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Would you care to take my arm, miss?" he asked, displaying an unnerving kindness.
She rubbed her eyes and was blinking madly as Ganymede approched. It had worn off some, but still clouded her vision quite a bit. "Oh! Why, thank you." She took his arm, and grinned at him, showing her teeth. "Ya know, I really should stop looking at lights, but I can't stop myself, ya know? I should have learnt that by now..." She continued to chatter away as Ganymede led her, the thought never occuring to her that he may find it annoying.
Fey smiled widely as she chattered randomly at Ganymede whose face showed an impassive look as he took it all in. Eventually he couldn't restrain himself any longer. a deep low rumble of chuckles erupted from him. After a while he turned toward their destination which looked closer now and the sun was rising too.
