Even though her instructor would only let her fly a small aircraft that would let her coast just under the clouds, the sandy coloured thill loved every single second that she could spend in the air. She had flown until she was only out of fuel and for a spilt second feared that she wouldn't be able to fly back to land, but alas she had done it. And even got compliments for working under a bit of stress without much fault. It was little praises like that which made the quiet day much more vivid and bright and while she walked around in the courtyard, there was an added bounce to her step and she held her head up a bit higher than she usually did. Although the day was crisp and cool like the later part of Tessera was, Gemini noticed that it seemed she wasn't the only pendragon who had a free period, it seemed like a majority of the campus did – something that told her it must've been one of those days when the teachers went askew – and most of either packing themselves into the club across the way, or just dozing off in the sunlight. Despite the fact that it was hardly after ten in the morning, the courtyard wasn't crawling with other 'dragons just yet, and she took advantage of the nice weather and somewhat quiet air to wander around, just cantering about and thinking to herself. As she did so, she couldn't help but hum a tune, glancing down at her feet for a moment as she stepped over a stray branch in the way, eyeing her worn jeans. She hadn't realized that she had dressed so haphazardly, but at least she had the sense to wear a decent hoodie. It was a favourite, a nice gray colour that clashed with her own sandy fur colour, but overall the entire mood of what she had on went together well. Gemini often didn't care about how she looked appearance-wise on a whim, but she was just a tad subconcious around so many others, even if she did blend in quite well. Her thoughts however slipped away like sand between one's fingers, and her green eyes glanced upward just in time to narrowly miss a wild thill running after a frisbee. He almost knocked her glasses askew and she growled at him, gritting her teeth as he pushed her out of the way, still managing to grab onto the frisbee and roll along with it. He didn't say anything to her while he got up, although there was a pair of dirty looks exchanged among them. She didn't topple over like he had after his stupid little object, but she did understand why he had done what he did. That was her skill – empathy. She had been in the way. Nevertheless, Gemini moved on after that, choosing to plop down next to a tree and watch what everyone else was going from there on.</p></font></blockquote>
The crisp air seemed so refreshing as Nejuda walked out of the large building that her shape shifting class had taken place in. It had been the young pendragon’s first class and had been fairly fun. She had never, like most others, looked forward to taking classes at the academy and had been thrilled after the hour of class was over. Nejuda was pretty sure that shape shifting would be a fun class but she knew that as the year went on she would have to do plenty of written assignments. But that didn’t matter because now she had a free period to do anything that she wanted to do. She could go to her dorm and try to get moved in more, maybe she could even switch to her quadrupled form for a few minutes. But her amber gaze turned to see an older girl get knocked down by a jerk running after a Frisbee. Nejuda sneered at the boy as he toppled over and ran as fast as she could in her high-heeled shoes to the older ‘dragon.’ Although she was very young Nejuda never missed out on wearing fancy clothes and fixing her hair. Today she had picked out a dark gray suit with black high-heels in hopes to look impressive for her first day of shape shifting and songwriting. She had fixed her dark blue hair so it was laying down and not up in a pony-tail and she had curled the ends to make sure that it wasn’t too simple. For a moment she studied the older girl’s clothes but she shook her head, telling herself to stop judging people by their choice of wardrobe. “Are you okay?" she asked Gemini taking a moment to flatten out her pants. “I’m Nejuda Juem." she said anxiously as she waited for an answer.

Even though she had already begun to put the thing behind her, the sandy 'dragon smiled briefly before having a feeling to fidget in place. <b style="color: #269546;">"I'm okay,"</b> she said, <b style="color: #269546;">"It was more or less my fault, I guess. Studying the dressing style of the other, Gemini debated inwardly for a few seconds if she was speaking to someone of the staff – but she decided that the figured seemed... much too young for such a job. <b style="color: #269546;">"Hum, it's a nice day, isn't it?"</b> she asked, trying to evade further questioning. .</p></font></blockquote>
