OOC: Anyone's welcome to join. Timestamp:Dyo (Spring), 81381 Jynx opened her pale blue eyes and watched the sand blow around her cave. Not again, She thought. Would these sand storms never stop? She stood up and walked out. She flinched as the sand burried itself in her scar. She hissed as it stung her skin.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I am such a kind person :D After this I should reply to Sinok and I's thread though >.> Who: Gavan Sian Wearing: The usual</td></tr></table> Gavan coughed and sputtered. He cringed as he made his way through the unforgiving desert. "<span style='color:green'>If y'ask me, it's the desert of the condemned...</span>" He muttered, before spitting sand out of his mouth. Violet eyes barely made out the cave-like shealter, and instinctively, he made his way toward it. He stepped inside, saking himself slightly. He glanced around the dim cave, making his tail flame yellow for better light. He made out a figure in the cave as well and said a slight, "<span style='color:green'>Oh, excuse me.</span>"
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Hi! Am juuusst a little rusty. Don't mind my mistakes :)</td></tr></table> Little tiny dots just happened to come into view for just a nanosecond before they hit her eyes and her reaction to them sent her off track of her flying course and hurlting down to the hot sand. It was a lucky thing Kien was flying low at that time. If not, she would have caused herself injury. It was a coincidence that Kien just happened to land in front of a cave entrance and since her eyes were smarting, she couldn't possibly fly through this storm. Half blinded and just feeling her way through, she didn't noticed that there was company. Thus, muttering silliness to herself, "Aahh that hurts! My poor little baby eyes..."
Out of Character Thanks for joining. Jynx jumped as two figures entered her cave, surprised. "<span style='color:blue'>Who's there?</span>" She saw a light near the mouth of the cave and moved toward it. Her scar seemed to glow as she stepped into the circle of light.
OOC: Introducing Jynx's brother! Who: Amaroq wearing: leather jacket and blue jeans Amaroq made his way through the sandstorm to the cave where Jynx was waiting. His eyes burned and his scars itched, but he ignored these things. Tucked in his coat were a few jugs of water and some food to get him and his sister through the week. Just as he reached the mouth of the cave he noticed they had company. They're just seeking shelter from the storm, he thought, moving passed them. "<span style='color:purple'>You're welcome to stay until the storm lets up.</span>" He said. He put the food down and turned to his guests.
Kien's ears perked up as she heard movement and a voice. She also smelt another pressence somewhere beside her. Her muscles tensed but she made no move. Being half blind was not a good idea right now and if it so happen that this stranger was hostile, she just have to be prepared. But then another voice sounded and the greeting was friendly. No hostility there. Her nose caught a whif of food and another male stranger. The first one hasn't said anything yet. "Uh... sorry to intrude. I didn't think there was anyone here," she said, blinking her orbs and rubbing it a little. "Also, if it isn't too much a hassle, does anyone have any water?"
Gavan chuckled, "<span style='color:green'>I myself am terribly sorry for barging in like this. But I will leave as soon as the storm lets up.</span>" He studied the two others, along with Kein, '<span style='color:green'>None of them look the type t'try to kill me, so I'll be fine.</span>' he thought, sitting down, back to a wall. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Writers block @_@</td></tr></table>
Jynx relaxed as Amaroq walked in and greeted the strange guests. <span style='color:blue'>They won't cause trouble as long as he's here</span>, she thought. "<span style='color:blue'>Yes, we have some water. No trouble at all.</span>" Jynx handed a bottle to the female guest. She turned to the other one. "<span style='color:blue'>Would you like anything?</span>" Out of Character Happens to me all the time.
Amaroq crouched at the back of the cave, out of sight. He watched both guests uneasily. <span style='color:purple'>The female is harmless</span>, he decided. <span style='color:purple'>But him...</span> Amaroq watched as the stranger pressed his back against the wall. "<span style='color:purple'>I'm Amaroq. This is my sister, Jynx. You're welcome to anything we can spare.</span>" He said after a moment.
"Thanks!" she said when her hand touched the bottle. She then tilted the mouth of the bottle to her cupped digits and let the water collect there. After she had washed her eyes off the irritants, she took a good look around. The first she saw was the thin, dragon-like female who had handed her the bottle of water. She looked to her side and saw a green and more older male. I am sure I heard another voice... her trail of thought stopped when her eyes went to the back of the cave. It was quite dark and she could barely make out the outline of the stranger in the back. She turned to the other two. "I'm sorry again," Kien said as she placed the bottle down. "I'll be gone the moment the storm does. Am I interupting anything?"
Jynx smiled at the slender, dragon-like female. "<span style='color:blue'>You're welcome. No, nothing was going on, really. Just collecting supplies before the Big Storm hit.</span>" She explained. "<span style='color:blue'>I'm Jynx. What's you're name?</span>" She asked as an after thought.
Gavan watched the two, "<span style='color:green'>I'm Gavan.</span>" He said, looking at Amaroq, "<span style='color:green'>I'm only here because of memories deserts bring me, I'm sorry if I barged in...</span>"
Amaroq studied Gavan. "<span style='color:purple'>Nice to meet you. And, forgive me if I'm being too forward, but if you had barged in you would be dead.</span>" He replied simply. He flicked a glance at Jynx before he continued. "<span style='color:purple'>I'm sorry. I have a slight problem with my temper, and there's a lot on my mind.</span>" He stood up and started pacing, trying to calm down.
"I'm Kien and I am supposed to be back home by now." She fidget a little. "I've got a whole bunch of stuff needed to be done and classes to attend." She looked towards Gavan who seemed well, harmless to her. And she was reliefed to find she wasn't the only intruder. That would be a little awkward. Then she looked at Amaroq. He was still covered by the light but now Kien could make out a figure. "Well is there anything I can help with while waiting for the storm to go?"
Jynx smiled at Kien. "<span style='color:blue'>You have a beautiful name. If you want, you can help me stock the food and water. It will take all day if I do it alone.</span>" She lifted a jug and walked to the small antechamber.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry for the late reply. >.< was waiting for Draconan. But since he's not doing it so I'll reply</td></tr></table> Kien smiled back at Jynx. "Thanks." she said while walking towards the food and water and lifting several all at once. "So why do you people live in the desert anyway? Aren't you scared of Anubi clans?"
Out of Character No problem ^_^ Jynx looked at Kien, surprised. "<span style='color:blue'>Well...I don't know why we live in the desert, really. You'd have to ask Amaroq. And the Anubi Clans don't bother us. I don't even think they know we're here.</span>" Jynx grinned.
