If you're just tuning in, here's a recap of the day's past events. Jodie completely gutted the forum. Pruning old messages, archiving others, etc. The forum skin also got reset to default (yes, a new skin is currently in the works). As of late she's been updating a lot of the forum and site coding. Joining Ramath-lehi has now become even more "simpler." Well, simpler meaning a little less complicated than it was before. New players must read through the http://shadowlack.com/guide.phpNew Player Guide</a>. Upon finishing with the Guide, they are then invited to http://shadowlack.com/forums/index.php?act=Regcreate a forum account</a>. (The old Joining Quiz is here as well.) Once they've passed the Joining Quiz and validated their account, they are now allowed to create characters. The new Create Character page can be found http://shadowlack.com/forums/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=99here</a>. Then it's just a short wait until their character gets approved. If anyone has any problems with any of the new coding at all, please let me know. I'm still sort of fine tuning things, so any input, good or bad, is welcome.
herm... I know, maybe make some aspects of creating chars faster, such as more of those button selection thingies. then the author won't have to type stuff like, big, small or medium sized. Kinda like the good evil, chaotic evil thing on Black Shuck! :D
I thought it was pretty fruping darn simple before ^^. It sounds like you've returned it to the way it used to be as well. Kind of. When I joined it was read through the Player Guide, take the test, make an account.... Yeah it sounds the same. Danged simple back then too. Kewwwl.
Yeah, it's a lot similar as to how it was before.. only I've merged the account creation with the joining quiz so that people don't get "lost" trying to create an account before they can create a character. :)
