(OOC: i hope im doing this right let me know if i mess something up)

Time- Early in the morning...

Debaucheri approached the pale thill in front of the restaurant, she was wiping the tables off with a damp cloth before they opened for breakfast. He stumbled into a chair and she turned sharply to look at the noise.

Her eyes widened, "Oh dear, are you okay?"

He whimpered softly, "I was looking for my Mum and now I've hurt my paw....have you seen her? She's snow white like me...? I lost her, in the crowd last night."

The thill rose a paw to her mouth, "Oh honey, you've lost your Mother?" She looked thoughtful and then sad as she looked him over. "Well you come inside and I'll make you some breakfast. After my shift I'll take you around town and we can look for your Mom."

His liquid black eyes become large and quivered, "Okay"... He let her take his paws and pull him to his hind legs, steering him inside the restaurant. He glanced down to hide a satisfied smirk and then quickly found the correct combination of devastation and confusion to replace it on his face.

ooc: everything looks good so far :)

After coming into Watani to play backup in a gig last night Cilea found herself still running off of the excitement of the night, even after getting four fues of sleep. Unable to stay inside with the dead tired band she took to the early morning streets instead.

The small restaurant lined street was slowly coming to life as shop owners began to open doors and prepare for the morning rush. But for now thing were still bathed in the serenity of the pre-work hour madness. Until that serenity was ruined by the rumbling of Cilea’s own stomach.

Placing a paw on her gut she looked around to see if any of the stores were accepting customers yet. A few buildings down from her she saw a small white ‘dragon being welcomed into a quaint restaurant and she felt relived. At least someone was going to welcome the insomniacs. It was quiet inside so without making a fuss she followed the two through the front door and sat herself down at one of the small tables by the window doing her best to not listen to the few other ‘dragons in the shop. But she couldn’t help but turn her ears towards the white nioti who appeared to be in some sort of distress.

(OOC: Question...what kind of food do they eat? do eggs and orange juice exist? Or what is the equivalent?)

Debaucheri followed the thill past the tables and to the counter. She smiled at him and told him to take a seat before she vanished into the kitchen.

The small lukuo looked around the restaurant and found it very quiet with only one other customer. It was a female pendragon perhaps close to his own age, and she was the most stunning shade azure blue. Debaucheri blinked at her for a few moments, he had never seen such a color it was startling...But then he hadn't been out much. The monks were always clad in dark neutral colors that covered their arms and dropped to the floor and the bits of fur that could be seen were mostly dark or pale neutrals as well. He turned away from her, it was like turning off a bright light and he found that he must have been squinting at her. He frowned thinking of the colorless world he'd been living in and slid onto a bar stool.

The pale thill reappeared with a placemat and silverware. She set them in front of Debaucheri and poured him a glass of orange juice.

"What else can I get for you honey? Do you like eggs? How about bacon, hash-browns and a little stack of waffles? Does that sound okay?"

He smiled and nodded his head, he hadn't eaten a proper meal in several days. The thill beamed at him when he smiled and patted his shoulder before traveling over to the other customer to take her order.

She laughed politely at the blue female, "We aren't usually open this early, but I can't very well feed him and turn you away. Can I? Whats going on with you kids, hmm? Anyways, what can I get you dear?"

Cilea glanced around the restaurant as she drummed out a beat on the table stop. Out of the corner of her eye she caught the young ‘dragon at the main counter staring at her. Not in the creepy stalking way but in a way that made her worry that she looked like a mess. Feeling a slight blush keep up under her fur she glanced away from him and ran a hand over her hair to make sure that it didn’t look completely out of control.

He had looked young and underfed; her heart went out to him. It was at least comforting to see that someone else was also trying to help him out. She was actually working really hard at not going over to see if he was okay. Her friends had recently started to tell her that she often too trusting of strangers and that not everyone wants to be greeted so bubbly first thing in the morning. So she would wait till only the most socially appropriate moment to say anything. At least that was her most recent resolution. It was still unknown if she had the resolve to control herself to that degree.

Having turned away, Cilea was mildly startled when the waitress came over to her table.

“Oh, um, sorry for intruding. It must just be this lovely weather, it brings us young’uns out in hordes. I’m grateful for your courtesy, I was worried I was going to have to wonder the streets until I collapsed of hunger.” Her strict childhood made it easy for her to quickly fall into practiced and perfected small talk. But in her own mind she was shaking her head at herself for being so formal, not the hippest of phrases. Not wanting to keep the thill waiting she quickly pulled the small menu towards her and scanned the list for anything that sounded appetizing or familiar.

“If it’s not too much trouble could I get a glass of Yjumdas juice and a Varsinid egg breakfast wrap?” She rattled off as she handed the menu back.

Debaucheri put his head down on the counter while he waited for his breakfast. He knew that his breakfast was going to be free, she wouldn't ask him to pay...he knew that. He didn't have any money and he would be hungry again in a few hours... He made up his mind, as soon as he had the opportunity he would get the cash register open and take what he could. He would probably have to create a diversion...but the blue female behind him may prove to be problematic. He frowned into the table, I will fight her if I have too... He hoped it wouldn't come to that. If he started a small fire perhaps the smoke would be enough to cover him...

A small tap on his shoulder roused him, "I've got your food sweetie." The thill stood behind the counter with his food, she placed it in front of him and his mouth began watering. Debaucheri didn't even bother with the silverware, he just dug in with his paws. In a few moments the plates were empty and he was neatly licking his paws. He flicked his ears in the direction of the blue female it sounded as though she had gotten he food as well. She was eating at a less starved pace, he could hear her chewing softly. Now or never...

Debaucheri closed his eyes for a few moments, going into his mind he found fire and warmed it. He pushed it to the floor of the restaurant in the left next to the kitchen far from where he had seen the register. He fed the flames and thought of damp wood to make them smokey...before long a very small cloud of smoke began to crawl upwards it wasn't yet visible above the counter. He pushed it further not too much just enough to accomplish his goal. He wanted to do as little damage as possible and hoped that nobody would be hurt. When the smoke began to get thicker it was on the verge of catchy attention...he then found a soft breeze and pushed the smoke towards him and as it began to thicken he become lost in it.

Cilea thanked the waitress as her order was placed in front of her. Before digging in she took a deep breath and inhaled the delicious smells of a freshly cooked meal. Her time as a student living off of microwavable meals was starting to get old to her.

She ate slowly but with determination to finish the whole plate, she was always annoyed when food went to waste. Looking out the large front window as she ate, she watched as the rest of the street began to come alive. Also noticing other ‘dragons that looked like her; the ones wearing the same cloths from the day before, obvious signs of a lack of sleep and a select few nursing a hangover. As concentrated as she was on her food, and as distracted as she was with the strangers outside the window she was slow to notice the commotion going on behind her.

Her first sign of trouble was a tugging at the edges of her magic. The Fronima power that ran through her body like an electrical current was being attracted to some nearby force. This wasn’t a strange occurrence for her, she had yet to completely master her own powers and being nearby other elemental magic could often set of her own abilities. As she reached to grab the metal fork on the table a spark jumped between her fingers and the utensil. She quickly pulled her hand away, rubbing the tip of her finger where her fur had been burnt. It was then that she noticed that the smell of burning was much to strong for her little incident.

Turning around she jumped at in shock at the sight of the cloud of smoke taking over the front counter. A screen came from somewhere in the back room and Cilea was filled with the urge to run from the restaurant. What stopped her was the brief memory of the younger ‘dragon sitting at the counter. She hadn’t seen him leave; he had to be in the smoke somewhere. She hesitated for a few second longer, watching with growing concern as the smoke began to spread further and there was still no sign of the noiti.

The feeling in her gut told her she was making a terrible mistake, but she knew she couldn’t run away without even trying to save him. She dashed foreword, reaching around blindly in the thick smoke.
