Timestamp: Tria (Summer), 81379 Character: Abelmatt Omhyli aka Matt Day: Early morning, 20 mins before sun rise on a warm summers day. Matt was running around the empty smaller pitches, they were easier to get into before school hours. His feet lightly ran over the soft grass, he was wearing just a pair of darkish trainers, nothing fancy, he didnÂ’t really like trainers but the ground was messy. He had been running for quite a while and he stopped for a drink. His hand gripped his flask of cool water, bringing it up for a quick gulp. The cold liquid cooling his body. Giving his fur a shake, shrugging off the buzz of the cold. He liked being alone out here, he found solitude more relaxing at times, plus every one pissed him off these days. He was in a bit of a mood, glaring at the sky for a moment. Looking at the red clouds, the first sign of light.
Jade woke up this morning and the thought dawned on her that she should probably stretch her legs. Throwing on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt she danced to the stadium, absent-mindedly drawing on herself the way down. Without looking up, she sat in the bleachers, admiring the new ‘temporary’ tattoo she’d drawn on the back of her hand. It was of a beautiful black rose that had tentacles emanating from its stem and leading down her digits. She balled her hand up into fist, watching the petals stretch and distort itself. Noticing she’d missed a spot on her thumb, she pulls out a fine line permanent marker and starts to doodle some more. The sun was just dawning through the stadium, the cold slowly dispersing. With quiet sigh of relief, she puts her pen back in her pocket. Her hands go to the base of her sweater and she then pulls it over her head. Throwing it messily next to her on the bench, she then leans back with her hands behind her head. Her green eye (which chose to become a vine green today) landed its gaze on a male running the track. With a grin she simply continued to watch him, thinking she’d probably interrupt him if she obnoxiously yelled ‘Hey!’.
Matt was running around again now, picking up the pace, his legs burned from the ache but he didnÂ’t care, he was wearing a pair of dark navy blue 3 quarter length jeans, more room to run, jeans were heavy but he could bring himself to wear a track suit. He was also wearing a dark pale green t shirt with a symbol of 3 black circles interloping on it. He didnÂ’t have a clue what it was meant to be but he liked it. And as always he had an arm band on, a wool type one about 3 inches wide, just under his wrist. It was red. Then not so far ahead, sitting on the bleachers was a girl, he nearly didnÂ’t notice her, her fur was slightly lighter than his but still dark. If the wood of the bleachers wasnÂ’t painted a light colour he wouldnÂ’t have seen her. She seemed to be looking his way. His curiously got the better of him. he grounded to a halt near her and clambered up on the lowest step. Calling out to her. "Hey mind if I join you" He needed a break anyway. His legs felt like they muscles were being slowly roasted. It wasnÂ’t to bad though, kept him warm.
Jade didn't realize she'd have him notice her so soon, but now was as good as any other time. Stretching once more, her chest hugging t-shirt raised to bare her midrift. Ignoring it, her digits went up to her bangs making sure they covered her left eye. <span style='color:green'>"Not at all."</span> Her voice was indifferent and mellow, almost inviting. She didn't quite sit straight, but instead leaned back on the bench above her, her elbows supporting her weight. Looking him over a few times she waved for him to come over, even after the fact she'd already replied. <span style='color:green'>"So I guess I'm not the only one who likes to get up early then."</span> Her lips parted to flash him a grin.
He laughed at her, he liked to be up before any one else. It was quiet. She sounded fun too. He clambered up the bleachers, jumping up the seats. As he reached her, he took a seat next to her, then offered his paw. His own voice sounding relaxed and deep. He was a little out of breath though so his words were kind of forced out, yet they were getting smoother. "Yeah, mornings are fun. Anyways. IÂ’m Matt" He didnÂ’t use his full name really, it was very long winded yet the ones who knew it sometimes called him Able. He didnÂ’t really mind much. Giving her a quick check over first. She seem Anubi which was something he found interesting, he had met only one before. He ruffled his wings slightly for a moment, thinking what to say, he only paused for a moment though. They were sticking out of the holes in his t-shirt. All his tops had the holes, although he hated cutting them out, it took ages. Then smiling at her for a bit, he liked company sometimes. "So what brings you out here so early." He never really saw any one at this time. It was only now the sun could be seen parting over the horizon. Spreading a huge red glow over the sky.
Jade took his paw and shook it briskly, giving a firm look hello before bursting out laughing. It wasn't uncommon to see her laugh at the slightest of things. She thought of something else to say, but it flew her mind before she could speak it. <span style='color:green'>"Nice to meet you, I'm Jade."</span> She shifted sitting positions, now she had her legs crossed beneath her and she was staring at him intently. A small breeze made her bangs flicker, but it quickly replaced before he could see anything. Her gaze landed on his wings, curiosity getting the better of her. <span style='color:green'>"So you can fly with those?"</span> The art of flying and being up in the air all free was something she could only dream about. There was so much liberation and no limitations, well from what she'd heard anyways. <span style='color:green'>"Uhm.. I have no clue actually. I just like seeing the sunrise. The colors are just so beautiful.. Like I've only seen one skilled tattoo artist who could even capture that beautiful collage of colors.. It's something I aspire to be able to do." </span> She was fixated on the sky, as if trying to learn some secret that it wasn't telling her.
He couldnÂ’t help but look at her, she was so exotic, he had never seen any one like her. The way she looked at him and they way she laughed, they were so different. Smiling at her while she talked about his wings distracted him. He stretched them out to their full extension. Feathers fluttering. The metallic silver of the lower feathers stood out in the reddish light. "Oh its good, flying and stuff, you kinda get used to it. Its like walking but windy." Talking with a grin now. Turning his head to look where she was, he hadnÂ’t really noticed the sun rise until now. It was beautiful, but he couldnÂ’t imagine some one tattooing that. The blending of colours would be so hard. Yet he smiled at her ambition. Least he knew stuff about her now. He noticed her hand, the rose drawn onto her hand. It was hard too see because of her dark fur, but her skin showed through more their. So it stood out fine. Nodding to her hand. "Yeah the sun must be hard, yet that rose on your hand is pretty good." Giving her a half smile. He wished he could draw for a moment. But then he just admired her drawing, think he should best leave it to the experts.
Jade continued to watch the sky, but the fluttering of his wings lulled her like a moth to a flame. She watched him in utter amazement, she'd never seen them up close and personal. <span style='color:green'>"I'm sure it's more than just walking.. Like there must be a skill to do it or something right?"</span> She could just imagine tattooing those exact wings to her back, giving her the resemblance of freedom.. Ah.. It's so fun to dream. Her eye lingered on him for a few moments before snapping to her hand, her cheeks reddening slightly with blush. <span style='color:green'>"Oh.. It's just a morning sketch. I find if I don't draw I get out of practice. And with my trade I can't be too sloppy or boring. This way I keep my mind fresh.."</span> She lifted her hand to the sky, flexing it into different positions. Another thing that she had to learn was which places the designs stretch and look terrible at, the hand and wrists being among them. Nonetheless, it was kind of cool looking.
He laughed at her gaping, it was funny. Having wings wasnÂ’t that uncommon in fact most dragons did, granted not many were feathered but still. Then he laughed at how she blushed at her drawing. It was funny to see her hide it at first. Then watching her flex out the pattern. Watching how she moved her hand and fingers. He smiled as a wicked idea came to his mind. "Well do you want to find out. I mean, like you hold on and we go for a quick flight. You donÂ’t have to if you donÂ’t want to." Talking slightly faster on the last bit, he didnÂ’t want to seem rude or anything. He smiled again, he wasnÂ’t quite sure how it world work. but it would probably be like a hug but then taking off. ShouldnÂ’t be too hard. He kept his wings in good practice and well used so they could handle it no problem. Yet he was kinda of nervous about it now, he was wondering what she would say. Yet it would be a great night to fly, the air was soft enough and just warming up. Warmer air was easier to glide on.
Jade continued to look at her ink against her pelt that looked almost red with the sun. Her features lit up when he offered to give her a ride, her mouth nearly dropped. <span style='color:green'>"Serious! Are you serious? Yeah! How could I reject?"</span> She had a habit of repeating herself when she was excited. Standing up, she jumped the benches two at a time, her tail bouncing along behind her. <span style='color:green'>"So.. How're we going to do this?"</span> She hadn't even thought of how it was going to work, she actually for a fleeting second thought she was going to get her own pair of wings. It was ridiculous how hyped she was to do this. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. It isn't that exciting. Yes it is. YES IT IS! There was only a small problem of her hair moving, she shrugged it off. That wasn't important now, and the likeliness of him noticing was slim to none.
He jumped up with her, now standing on the bleachers. he had been thinking about it now and had a pretty good idea on how to go about it. Flexing his wings briefly then shaking them again. A single feather fell out. Giving it a quick glance, it was a black one so that wasnÂ’t to bad. The silver ones were nicer to look at. "Right this could work too ways, bare with me, I donÂ’t normally give out rides." Flashing a grin for a second. "Now we could sort of hug and then take off but you wont see as much, although thatÂ’s probably safer as we can both hold on, or I could stand behind you and carry you that way. A better view but wont be for as long because I have to carry you through all of it" Smiling again, this would be interesting no matter what happened. Jumping up and down for a bit giving the wings a totally pointless flap, sending air whooshing all over the place. "So what would you prefer" He couldnÂ’t help but grin, his teeth showing all the way up his muzzle. He was looking forward to this, it was getting him all pent up.
Jade nodded, thinking of the advantages of either situation. Either I see where I'm going or I don't and just see his chest. Guessing she'd rather see the air around her, her mind quickly made up. <span style='color:green'>"Well if.. You picked me up then I can see where we're going. But whatever is easier!"</span> There was a good thing about the position where she couldn't see, she could always cuddle closer against his chest if it all ended up freaking her out. Smiling, she strode closer to him her hand on his shoulder as she walked around him. Seemingly examining his wings, but possibly just looking him over some more. <span style='color:green'>"I don't really mind either way, whichever is more comfortable for you."</span> She was nothing but grateful towards the 'dragon. She barely even knew him and already about to experience something she'll remember forever.
Smiling and standing still as she walked around him. He didnÂ’t mind her checking his wings out. He was quite proud of him self. He kept himself in good shape and he knew he was quiet muscularly. Plus he would be lying if he said he didnÂ’t like her. As she walked past, he flexed his wings for show, then turned around. Grinning as he spoke. "I think we will do it so you can see better. A thing like this the view is going to be the best bit. And we could always change in mid air if you donÂ’t like it." Grinning more at the last bit, he liked the air of turning her around in mind air. Would be fun. Then taking a step closer, his wings fully stretched out now. They were 4" in each direction outwards. "So are you ready" He smiled slight less now, he was a little nervous but it would pass. He liked flying and now he was about to fly with a girl, close up. What was bad about that.
Jade made a fake ooh-ing noise as he flexed, though the view was quite nice. Before he could turn around, she stroked his feathers gently. Maybe it was a bit out of line, but she wanted to know how they felt. Like if they were really as soft as a newborn child's skin. <span style='color:green'>"So the good view one it is then."</span> She stood in front of him and took hold of his hands; gently turning around she places them on her stomach. Her hair rose immediately at his touch, even if it was her that put them there. Laughing at herself, she leans up against him. <span style='color:green'>"Is this how you want me to be?"</span> Her head turned to look at him, their faces extremely close. She was about to say something but her embarrassment made her forget. Her cheeks flushed once again.
He smiled a half smile as he blushed furiously, he was slightly nervous, his hands on her stomach, he locked them together and held her firmly. Trying to ignore the fact he was holding a gilr that he found irresistible up against him. Being a bit taller than her helped. He bent his knees for a moment before talking softly She was so close. "Hold tight, and try to relax." Then he kicked off, jumping up and the same time his own wings beating downwards towards the ground. The surge of air as they flew into the air. His wings were working over time with the extra weight, but he managed to hold the height, then a pocket of warmer air got under his wings. He spread them out and gliding around in circles gaining height each time. He hands were firmly around her, she was quite light so he easily hold her against him, looking over her should at the ground below. Now sort of standing up right in mid air, his wings flapping to maintain height again. He was holding her so she could see the sunrise and the surrounding area. You could see the entire academy, the massive underground jemdrull stadium next to them, its glass roof showing on the floor, the sun rising over the forests and hills. "What do you think." He needed to see she was ok with the heights. He didnÂ’t want her freaking out although he was prepared for it.
Jade nodded her head quickly, her heart was pounding in her chest but he heeded his suggestion and took a few deep breaths to relax. Lifting up into the air, she felt like the air was sucked out of her. Her hands went to his and squeezed it, being just a little scared. It took a few moments before she actually caught her breath. The warm breeze felt awesome against her fur, brushing it in every direction possible. Her bangs flew from her eyes, but she was too interested in everything around to her to notice. <span style='color:green'>"Wow.. This is just.. Beautiful.."</span> The sky was as magnificent as the tattoo she had seen, if anything it was better. Her mouth opened in awe, just watching the spectrum of warm colors mixing together. Her feet were dangling in the air. I'm in the sky! Oh my god. This is amazing! Her eyes were opened big, taking in every possible detail of the sunrise and Janardan. She was in a trance, before she snapped out of it and realized she hadn't said thank you. <span style='color:green'>"This is just so.. Wow. Thanks Matt. What can I give you? Or do for you? I need to repay you some how."</span> Both of her eyes looked into his in pure delight.
He grinned back at her, looking into her eyes, admiring the colour. She was looking back over her should at him yet he could easily see the different colour eyes. They were amazing colours, he had never seen a orange eye before. She was so unique. He was blushing now, he dark fur having a red undertone. He didnÂ’t blush often but this was a special case. "Erm I dunno, I wasnÂ’t really for asking for anything." He could feel the strain in his arms now. It was building like the dull ache in his legs when he was running. Giving her a nervous smile. "Mind if we go down now, my arms are getting tired." He said trying to hide his disappointment. he silently cursed himself for not being stronger, this was a great moment and he was having to end it.
Jade followed his gaze and realized her eye was uncovered. One hand immediately slipped and went up to go cover it again. She cheeks turned bright pink, no one had seen it before now. To her surprise he wasn't completely disgusted by it, but instead admiring. She bit in sheer embarassement. <span style='color:green'>"Uh.. uh.. Erm. Yeah we can go down now."</span> Her thoughts seemed to be going a million miles a minute, but for what? He's seen it already, just calm down! You're not going to die. Taking some more deep breaths she glances at the view before feeling them lower. She had a photogetic memory and when she'd go back to her room she'd definately need to draw it out. <span style='color:green'>"I'm serious though.. This is officially like the best moment of my life. I need to repay you some how."</span>
He smiled, though, he was slight struggling to keep her in the air. It was a great view but he had a feeling he would spoil it if he dropped her. Ignoring her last comment. "Good, hold on tight." he said, increasing his grip on her. Then flapping his wings so they gained some height but at the same moment arching over then zooming head first towards the ground. It was quicker this way. Spiralling down, the ground loomed closer, the as it began to near, slightly earlier then normal he snapped his wings out wards which were folded back while he was diving. As they went outward they caught the air and levelled out his flying. He ignored the strain on his wings. Instead just slowing down the flight and landing on too feet on the ground, putting her down as well. "Are you ok" he said with some concern, it was a step dive. He however was a bit of an adrenalin junky and liked doing stupid things. In a odd way he was trying to impress her.
Jade flinched slightly when he tightened his grip on her, it wasn't that it hurt it was just the fact that she was already hanging on to him with her life. She could almost feel a scream coming out when they dove. Though the experience was great, she was mildly disoriented being back on the ground. Shaking it off, she quickly regained her footing. She grinned like a dork, her pearly white teeth showing off. <span style='color:green'>“Can we do it again? Hah."</span> She brought a hand up to brush her hair back once again, I should gel it or something. That way there is no way anyone can see.. She didn't move away from him, but stood leaning up against him. She held his hands to her stomach, not quite letting go.
