Timestamp: Tria 39th Mid Morning Who:Aria Rinoket Aria was sitting on a rock, "I'm to old to be hiking"she growled "I'm going to kill my self"She lept down from the rock and almost slid "Ugh"she growled, she looked up and saw something about 3 yards away "What's that?"she thought out loud
Jade packed herself a bigger backpack for the reason of a change in weather, little did she realize it was going to hinder her walking speed. The wind was biting at her fingers so she reached into her pocket and threw on some gloves. Every step brought another foot print and a scuff from where she dragged her feet. Her green eye travelled all around the surroundings, it definately wasn't the dinky marked trail that it started off to be. "Damnit.. I think I'm lost." She squinted, trying to focus on a certain point that could re-orient herself about her surroundings. She caught site of a 'dragon, perched on a rock. Maybe she knows where I am.. She trudged off towards the creature, her darkly shaded 'shades protecting her from an especially harsh gust of snow and debris."Hey there!"
She looked up, still trying to keep herself from sliding "Hello"she called, she slipped off "Damn"she muttered as she quickly checked for wounds "sorry about my clumsieness, I'm allite to tired to be hiking"
Jade immediately grabbed hold of her arm, making sure if she slipped again Jade could stop her from falling. Her eye scanned her body quickly for wounds, pulling her packsack off and taking out some bandages. "Did you want to bandage anything up? I've got some spare first aid stuff in here." The femme seemed a little old to be hiking, but she wasn't about to question her reasoning.
"I'm fine" she said jumping on a flat rock nearby, she looked at the area "Damn those kids, they know they can get me to go anywhere, all they have to do is say there is a secret library"her ears lay flat in emberassment "I'm getting to gullible for my own good"
Jade looked at the 'dragon curiously. Secret library? Were those kids serious? "I'm sure you're not as gullible as you think." She wasn't quite sure what else to say. With a silent sigh, she put the items back in her bag without so much as a thought. "So that's the reason you came out here then? To find a secret library? If you wouldn't mind me asking.. Why would a library have interested you so much to come up to the barren hills?"
"well they only played the library trick twice, only that many times considering I refuse to go home" She said looking at the sky, then she added with a sigh "I really do hate the childran, always beating people up, but they did grow up in unruly parts"
Jade nodded slowly, piecing together her story. "So refusing to go back is your way at getting back at them? Or just avoiding being in another situation where you're gullible and falling for it?" It started to make sense now. Her attention was drawn back to the events at hand. They could converse and joke later on, but for now she needed to find a way back down. "What I was originally coming to ask.. Was do you know your way back well enough to guide me? That's if you choose to go back."
"Yes, so I don't get into another one of those situations"she said "I think I know the way to a road, I've been hinking here for days also"she said asuming the same about Jade
Jade let out a small sigh, there was a difference between 'thinking' and 'knowing'. Oh well.. If we get lost I'll at least have company. "Shall we get going or did you want to linger around her for a little bit?" She looked out towards where she had come, at least where she had thought she came. Her footprints were all blown away and if some one came to search for them, they'd probably not even know they were there.
"Well I guess we should get going, we wouldn't want to sit here all day now would we?" she said, her ears wiched, the cold was making them cold "I've been through this for three days why get cold now?"she thought
Jade had only just started her trek up the mountain today, three days out in this abyss she probably would have died. "So.. Which way?" She looked once again the way she came and then to a bend just a little farther down the road.
"Personaly, I think we could get somewhere if we try to go over the moutians"she said, "But who knows?"
"So does that mean you want to keep going through this treacherous weather?" Jade was awestruck, you would think they would try and backtrack into warmer weather, not go to higher heights and have their buttocks frozen off. "I'm not trying to defy your logic of thinking.. But do you really think that's a good idea?" Maybe she was over stepping her boundaries in talking to the older femme, but she wasn't about to risk her life on a quick decision.
"I hadn't thought of that, should we go down the mountian, or go the way we came?" she said "I know some caves around here"
"A cave? Did you want to stay in one until we get a better idea of the trail back?" Jade had brought enough food for them both, well at least another night. After that they would have to head back. The sun was at its summit and was beating down on them, Jade welcomed the extra warmth, but the sun shone so brightly that it was blinding against the snow. "But that sounds good, anyways."
"We could go to the cave I've been camping in, all my stuff is there" she said standin on a rock near a beaten path
Jade nodded slowly, waiting for the femme to show her to the cave. She had seen millions of them on her way up, she had hoped a particularly unwelcoming cave wasn't it. “I can’t remember if I told you or not.. But my name is Jade." She smiled at her warmly.
Out of Character

Sorry I just notice you replied

" oh and my name is Aria" she said sliding down the steep yet beaten path. She landedon a rock at the bottem of the path and motion for Jade to follow.
Jade nodded quickly, locking the femme's name into her filing cabinet of names to remember. Best not forget the name of some one who could help me out.. She treaded down the path after her, a few rocks stumbling down amongst the mix of gravel and snow.
