Timestamp: Tria, 81379 Character: Leehara Sislon Wearing: Black halter-top, Black pants, street boots Leehara was sitting on her bed, leaning against her headboard. She surveyed the space she now called home. It was a wreck. There were scrolls everywhere and she hadn't cleared out the stubs of various colored candles in ages. A message floated into her mind. She identified it as the dorm advisment secretary. {Expect a 'dragon to come by, she will be your new room mate,} Tha's exactly what I need. She thought sarcastically. She sighed and began to go around the room, tossing the scrolsl into her desk. When she ran out of room she began to put them in a basket that had been in a corner of her room for as long as she could remember. The door was rattleing. Leah grunted and went over to it, undid the dead bolt and opened it.
Character: Kataari Wearing: light green tank top, faded blue jeans and black flip flops Kataari walked down the corridor of sub-floor zero in Janardan Academy. Let's see.... 613, 666, 756, 852, 901, 952.... I hope I have a roommate this place is kinda scary.... 955, 956, 964... here we go. Kataari struggled with the door... apparently she had a roommate, cos the door was locked. The door suddenly flew open and there stood a 'dragon with her bangs in her eyes. "Umm, hi. I'm Kataari. I guess we're roommates."
Leah gave Kataari the once over treatment. She noted that Kataari was well groomed compared to herself. She had just bunched her long ebony hair into a rogue knot upon waking up. "Yeah, guess we are," Leah said absently. "Just to warn you though, the windows are boarded up and the only light comes from my candles...I tend to make like a rasin and shrivel up in the sun," She continued, hoping that Kataari got the hit that she was a vampire. "Oh! and just because I suck at names can I call you Kat? and also I have only a few friends, but they drop by every morning for....various reasons. If you see a white fey, a black fey, a black wolfish 'dragon, or a lanky tan vamp come in that's one of them," She added in a rush.
Kataari grinned, showing off her gleaming white teeth. "I'm so glad I have a roommate cuz I'm really shy and am not used to big crowds of people... Ummm I don't think you told me your name. Yeah, it'd be great to meet your friends." She noticed that her new roomy was a vampire. Well that's cool as long as she doesn't bite me, Kataari thought nervously. She peered into the room and saw that her roomy wasn't kidding about the windows. "That sucks that the sun does freaky stuff to you. I'd rather have the windows boarded up too. Anyone could just look in. Oh yeah you can call me Kat. My old... friends call me that. Or Arri you can pick whichever." Upon further 'investigation' she noticed that her roommate was rather pretty, with long black hair and... "You know, you might wanna get your hair outta your eyes, I'm sure they're very pretty. I can do your hair for you if you want. My main trade is Hair Styling."
Leah offered a hand. "Name's Leehara, call me Leah. Oh and don't worry I won't bite you. The cooks make sure that there are a bunch of Haroks in the kitchens at all times for myself and the others." She said quickly. She then remembered what happened when she came into contact with another 'dragon for the first time. She was tempted to withdraw her hand and then figured against it. I mean she is going to get stuck with me as a room mate, she'll figure it out sooner or later. As for the compliment... She thought. "Thanks for the offer, but you need to know just a few more things before you decide to do something with my hair and getting it out of my eyes." Leah finished.
OOC: its ok with me im not sure about Siaka though "Well OK but keep in mind my offer. You really do have pretty hair." Kataari walked in and set her stuff down on her bed. "What do you need to tell me?"
Leah played dumb. She knew that Kat had probably picked up a part of her thoughts, but she wasn't sure which bit and if it was important. "I have not the slightest idea what you're talking about," She said, trying to fiegn confusion, but she had never been much of an actress or a liar for that matter. She sat down on her bed and pointed to the wall behing Katarri. That's your wardrobe. The bathroom is down that hall and overthere is the kitchen. Since I'm legal there is alcohol in the fridge. And before i forget how old are you?" She asked.
"Well today's my birthday, so I'm 14. Not to sound rude or anything like that, but exactly how old are you?" Kataari started folding her clothes and putting them in the wardrobe. Suddenly she jumped back and shrieked. "Eeeek! Oh my god I hate spiders!" She shrieked. She curled up on her bed, breathing heavily. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid of a lot of stuff... especially sharp things... and spiders, as you can tell..."
"Actually that's a good question. I'm averaging that I'm..." She did some figures. "eight-thousand plus years old. As for the spiders terribly sorry, I'm not to keen on the state of my, well I guess it's 'our' dorm now, but anyway it's never really been that neat in here." Leah said. She mad her way over to Katarri's wardrobe, knelt down and plucked the spider off of the floor. She held it an arms length from her face as she walked into the kitchen area of the dorm and put it in the garbage can. "You do know that that one was dead right?" She said.
"Yeah but I'm afraid of, well, everything. Dead things, spiders, needles, sometimes fire..... and some intangible things like betrayal... but enough talking about my freakish fears. What's the story with you?" She didn't elaborate further about the intangibles. Some things were better left unsaid, but that didn't stop her thoughts bouncing around in her head. What if she asks what I meant by betrayal? I can't tell her about Sohco... can I? I can't think about him... he's the one who broke up with me and then set my house on fire.... Then why am I still thinking about him?
Leah nodded. "Hali told me about Socho. He still loves you y'know." She said as she crouched down to pull a bottle of half finished vodka out of the fridge. She came back over and sat next to Katarri on her bed. "As for my story...I should probably show you first." She said and before Katarri could object she touched her shoulder. Instantly unbidden thoughts flowed into her mind. Katarri walking into a store asking for a job, her scratching another 'dragon (leah could only assume it was Socho), watching a house go up in flames. There were others as well, but those were the most prominent. Leah could sense that Katarri was about to interupt her. She silenced her by forcing a memory of her own into Katarri's mind. She was seven years old, she and her childhood friend Naless were walking to the bus stop for they're elementary school bus. Her dark appearence was like a cool pocket in the warm sunlight. She stretched her wings luxruiosly in an attempt to catch every ray. "Leah, you're in my sun!" Naless joked. Her white pelt and fair hair was an extreme contrast as she walked beside Leehara. "Sorry it's just so pretty and warm out," Leah said, the landscape bathed in the early morning sunlight. Leah felt a sharp pain spike in the back of her head. Everything went pitch black. She heared a soothing voice weaving through her unconcious mind, it was sining a song of rythm. It calmed her, kept her from trying to scream out. Then almost immeadiatly she felt someone touch her forhead. "Naless?" she groaned her eyes still closed. "yeah, you felled over. are you okay?" "my head," "you'll be okay Lee, jus' lie down for a sec, you'll see," Leah did as she was told. She counted backwords from 30 before opening her eyes. instantly she wished she hadn't. She could tell something was wrong even before she heard Naless' shriek.
Kataari sat on the bed in shock. What sort of power did Leah have? Kataari leaned back against the bed, closing her eyes. "H-Hali. S-She's one of your friends, right? H-How does she know Sohco, and that he still...." she trailed off. "I suddenly don't feel so great, and I'm kinda tired. Can I meet Hali tomorow? So I-I can hear it m-myself?" She opened her eyes, and hot tears that had been pooling in them came rushing down her cheeks and soon she was full out sobbing.
inwardly Leah was rolling her eyes. She had completly forgotten how sensitive some teenagers were. She hugged Katarri and whispered into her ear. "Hali's a friend, she'll come by tomorrow anyway, she can explain better than I can." She uncorked the bottle and got up to get two glasses. She came back with them both nearly filled with the vodka. "Oh, and for tonight you're legal, because you really need something for those nerves and i don't want to give you any of my stuff since it's made 'specially for one of my rarer conditions." She said handing her a glass.
Normally Kataari didn't drink, but this business with Sohco got her so confused and she figured one night wouldn't kill her. "Cheers" she said gloomily, then took a sip of her Vodka. She hated the taste, but she drank it all cuz hopefully, it'd help her sleep that night. OOC: TIME JUMP!! the next day, early morning Kataari woke to someone screaming and someone else pounding on her door. Then she remembered the night before and literally jumped out of bed and running to the door. "yeah?" she mumbled, still half asleep. In the doorway stood a black feydragon with dark blue wings. The 'dragon pushed past her and ran to Leah's side. Kataari followed.
Hali sprinted across the room, pushing past a tan 'dragon. She put one of her hands on Leah's shoulder and the other at the base of her skull. She sent a few sparks of electricity to Leah's brain. In an instant Leah stopped screaming and her eyes fluttered open. "Jesus Christ Leah," Hali swore under her breath. Leah sat up, dazed. She shook her head. "Ow, why'd you have to do that?" She asked. "It couldn't have been the fact you were screaming your head off," Hali said sarcastically. "Oh, right. I have a new room mate by the way." Leah said. Hali turned around and saw the tan 'dragon standing in the door way. This time it actually registered that someone was there. "Oh! Hi, I'm Hali...Leah's friend. Didn't mean to knock you over, but i lost the key Leah gave me." She said.
"Kataari, and nice to meet you." She wondered if Sohco had said anything about her. Well, let's wait and see if my name brings anything up.
Hali nodded. "Your name sounds familiar, some one told me but who?" Leah gave Hali a good shove, she knew full well what Hali was doing. "Hali you idiot, no toying with my roommate's mind okay?" She said, hoping that Hali understood it was an order and not a request Hali muttered something under her breath. "I remember now! Socho told me about you! Yeah he's totally sorry for burning down your house. He still refuses to set me on fire even though I am his teach-- oh shit," Hali had forgotten just how illeagal it was for her to be teaching Socho when she could barely control her powers at the best of times.
Kataari stood there in shock while Hali toyed with her. I don't need this crap, she thought. If Sohco still loves me I'm gonna find out for myself. Somethign else registered in Kat's mind "Teacher? You were teaching him? Where? Not his secret place... no... that's it... he showed you his secret place and- and now... I have to find him before he burns the entire place down!" Kataari grabbed some clothes out of her wardrobe and ran to the bathroom. In under two minutes, she was dressed in black jeans and a gold coloured shirt and her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. She ran across the room and put a pair of boots on her bare feet. Grabbing some black gloves, she ran out the door.
Hali rolled her eyes "Why did i know this was going to happen?" She before running out after Katarri. She saw that Katarri was too far for her catch her with her short legs so she jumped forward and spread her demonic wings, flying after her. She angled her wings so that they would push her forward and only the slightest bit upwards. Now she was a good four feet higer than Katarri and gaining on her. She noticed something as she looked up. It was a blue 'dragon with a red flame at the end of his tail. He was walking in her's and Kat's direction. She made an attempt to call out to Katarri, but Kat either didn't hear her or refused to hear. Out of Character

Next post is for Straken Kavor
