<span style='color:blue'>"What kind of lies did you tell to get her?"</span> mused Gavaudine to her elder brother. Although he was not horribly disfigured; lets face it, he could be HOT if he wanted to be. But Fenrir get a girlfriend? It didn't seem right. She looked at him, pretending to expect a reply. All he was doing for the past hour was sit there, apparently off in another world.

She was growing impatient. What time did she say she'd be there? One thirty pm. It was now three o clock.
<span style='color:blue'>"Fenrir, if you truly told her you're over sixty, maybe she's stood you up? I don't care what you think, people do stand..."</span>
She couldn't finish, there was a knock at the door. Looking smug Fenrir opened it. Standing outside was a thill, maybe sixteen, seventeen, with gold fur. She was missing a patch of it. Fenrir kissed her on the lips.
    <span style='color:red'>"Gavaudine, this is Astralia."</span>

Blushing, Gavaudine tried to give a smile, but it turned out as more of a grimace.

  2. Astralia looked at a clock. <span style='color:orange'>What time did she and Fenrir organize?</span> she thought. <span style='color:orange'>One-thirty. Wasn't it?</span> She looked at the clock more closely. What was it? The clock showed half past two, and it took a little less than half an hour to reach Fenrir's house.

Astralia shifted into her favourite animal, the As-Yssaj, and started running. Hopefully she would get there on time.

Around half an hour later, she reached the solid front door of Fenrir's house. She grimaced at the amount of mud she had collected on her fur, and shifted back into her usual shape. She checked herself over, making sure she looked presentable. She smiled with a hint of apprehension, and knocked on the door.

Her lover, Fenrir, answered it, and kissed her on the lips. The grey pendragon introduced her a lady watching the two of them, more precisely her. Gauvaudine.

She smiled tightly, and said hello. Astralia hoped she made a good impression on Fenrir's pink-haired sister, but from the expression on her face, she probably didn't.

  3. <span style='color:red'>"Welcome Astra. This is, as you already know, my sister Gavaudine. And this is her house. Rather nice, don't you think? Why the pained expression, sister?"</span> he half asked, half mused. He barely ever teased his sister, and today he got his own back.
<span style='color:blue'>"I, umm, I ate a bad, umm, lemon."</span> she fumbled. <span style='color:blue'>"I'm sorry if you got any bad impressions or anything. And I know Fenny here,"</span> she paused to savour the sight of Fenrir flinching, <span style='color:blue'>"May call me by Gavaudine, but I don't like the whole 'shebang'. Just call me Gav or Dine."</span>

  4. Astralia watched the bantering between the family, amused. She learnt from this simple exchange a few simple facts, and a quite major one: that Gavaudine and Fenrir were quite close. Astralia just hoped she wouldn't tear that relationship apart.

She inwardly winced when Fenrir said that the house was Gauvaudine's. And she stored the 'insult' of Fenny away in her mind.

<span style='color:orange'>"That's fine, Dine. Thank you for having me. From what Fenrir tells me, we have something in common. I hope we can be friends,"</span> she said, meaning exactly what she said.

  5. <span style='color:blue'>"Exactly my thoughts. Do you like Coffee? Or Tea?"</span>
She made her way over to the kitchen, motioning for the pair to follow.

  6. Astralia followed Gauvaudine to the kitchen. She told Gauvaudine that she would have coffee with two teaspoons of sugar. She had never liked tea, anyway.

Ever since that fateful meeting in Ajita, Astralia had never felt welcome anywhere. Now this relationship with Fenrir had opened up new possibilities. She was already fantasising about him privately, and how they had intimately reacted to each other one night at her house ...

She shook her head. It was time to think about the present, not remember the past.

  7. Fenrir looked at the golden furred thill and smiled. She made him happier than he'd ever been before. He took the seat next to her and put his arm around her.
<span style='color:red'>"Not thirsty thank you, Gavaudine."</span> he sat there smiling, and looked to Astralia. He had a surprise for her he knew she'd love.

  8. Astralia smiled at Fenrir, deliriously happy. While Gauvaudine was making coffee for her, she sneaked a kiss on his lips, and whispered, <span style='color:orange'>"Fenny,"</span> in his ear. If for no other reason except to tease the rock of her sanity.

  9. <span style='color:red'>"You're lucky I love you, Astra. Speaking of which,"</span> he reached into his pocket and produced a golden necklace, encrusted with saphires and rubies.
<span style='color:red'>"Many would present a ring, but you are more to me than that. Would you, Astralia, do me the honor of being my wife?"</span>

There, it was said. He thought it would be harder than that, but he managed. And as a bonus, Gavaudine didn't even bother teasing him. Thank god for that. His eyes glimmered with hope as he desperately awaited a reply.

  10. Astralia was in shock. Did Fenrir actually ask her to be his wife? No, that couldn't be true. Who would want someone like her, with golden fur falling out all over the place? Fenrir. His perceptions were completely awry.

But however, she mulled it over. He said that she was worth more than a ring. !!!! That definitely set off alarm bells. And it was a beautiful gold necklace, as well, which included her favourite stone, the deep blue sapphire. She started weeping. This was too much for her. As in Ajita, she transformed into an As-Yssaj, and rested her head on Fenrir's knee. She smiled a As-Yssaj smile, and mouthed yes with her As-Yssaj mouth. She hoped Fenrir would get the message. Otherwise his heart would break into smithereens, and he was too important to her for that.

  11. Gavaudine watched the two. Wow. She thought he was going to wait a week? At least that's what he said. What was with the As-Yssaj tranformatin anyway? Tempted as she was to tease her brother, she didn't.
<span style='color:red'>"I love you, Astralia."</span> she heard Fenrir say. It really reminded her of those soap opera's you see on TV...

  12. Astralia nestled up next to Fenrir's stocky leg. She needed a family right now, and one person had made that possible. She now belonged to somewhere, and that made her very happy. Her eyes were still wet with tears, but she changed back into her pendragon form, and threw herself onto her newly engaged husband.
