He knew what was coming, but let his mind wander as a few of the nioti's ran up to him and hugged him. It had been a while since he had been back, and he was like an older brother to most of the kids. He smiled at them as they looked at nyx and smiled shyly. The village was isolated, so outsiders were few and far between. Even moreso was the fact that nyx was an anubi, something that most pendragons in the village hadn't seen before. He smiled and gave her a peck on the cheek, causing most of the youngsters to smile brightly at her now. It showed them that she could be trusted. They ran off to tell their parents that he was back, and had brought someone with him. Waving goodbye to them, he headed towards one of the larger houses in the village, entering the door without knocking. His mom turned towards the door, gasping and hugging him tightly as he walked in. <span style='color:purple'>Nice to see you too mom, now could you not crush my lungs.</span> He said, smiling as his mom let go. His mom looked at nyx, then looking back at raizan, looking at him knowingly. "Is this your girlfriend?" She asked, causing raizan to blush and roll his eyes. <span style='color:purple'>Mom, this is nyx. Yes, you guessed correctly</span>
Nyx smiled. She watched as nioti's ran up and hugged Raizan. She squeezed his hand as they walked into his mothers house. She let her eyes flicker over his mother, for a moment. She blushed at her question. She stepped forward, and offered a hand. "Hello." She wasn't quite sure what else to say at this moment, so she didn't say anything else.
"So it seems my little rai-rai has finally found a mate, and a pretty one too." She said, smiling at him. <span style='color:purple'>MOM...</span> He semi-yelled, after being called his pet name by his mom. It was always the same thing every time. It always embarassed him, now matter how many times he heard it. "Don't mind him, rai-rai always gets upset when I call him that"
Nyx smiled and blushed at her words. "Thank you." She leaned in close to Raizan and ran a hand over his arm. She whispered,"Raiz, at least she cares enough to give you a nickname." She turned back to his mother and smiled again. She looked around the room, they were standing in. "You have a lovely home."
<span style='color:purple'>It's embarassing</span> He said, rolling his eyes again and sitting down on the couch, his mom sitting down across from him in one of the chairs. "So, how did you two meet?" She asked, causing raizan to blush at the memory of what exactly happened.
Nyx sat down next to Raizan, and looked at him for a moment. She turned and looked at her and smiled. "We just happened to both be in the Black Market. I was window shopping, and we ended up talking." She said quietly. She took Raizan's hand and held his hand.
<span style='color:purple'>You left out the part about the...ow</span> He said, feeling a sharp nudge in the ribs from nyx. "Part about what?" She said, looking at him knowingly again. <span style='color:purple'>It was just a kiss</span> He said, blushing. His mom giggled a little, staring at him. "Oh, where was it, was it your first, was it at sunset?" She asked, rapid-fire.
Nyx blushed. "Yes, it was our first. And yes, it just happened to be at sunset." She looked at her as she said the words. She answered the questions carefully and without hesitating. She smiled waiting for her reaction.
"Ohhh how romantic.." She said, clasping her hands together and looking at them. "Rai-rai, when's the baby due? She asked, causing raizan to almost choke on his own spit. <span style='color:purple'>Ba-Ba-baby. Mom we haven't done that</span> He said, coughing and almost laughing.
Nyx looked at her in suprise. She raised an eyebrow. She turned and glanced over at Raizan. She looked back at her. "As Raizan has said, we haven't done that." She held in her laughter, she couldn't help it. After all, Raizan had mentioned that this would happen.
<span style='color:purple'>Mom, can we change the subject.</span> He asked, feeling unconfortable and a little hot. <span style='color:purple'>I'll give nyx a tour of the house, why don't you get dad</span> He said, quickly taking nyx's hand and going upstairs into his room. <span style='color:purple'>They still haven't changed it, even now</span> He said, hearing the door close as his mom went to one of the other houses.
Nyx followed Raizan and sighed a breath of relief. "You prewarned me but, I didn't think she would ask quite that many questions." She glanced around the room, and then back at him. She moved a little closer to him, and rested her head on his shoulder. "So, is there anything I need to know about your dad?" She asked enjoying the warmth of him.
<span style='color:purple'>He's more reserved than my mom. Nothing much, just what goes for normal around here.</span> He said, sitting down on the bed and letting nyx sit next to him, smiling at her. The room didn't have much, just a few decorations, knicknacks, and a crystal necklace on the dresser, shining in the light.
Nyx smiled, and playfully put her face on his shoulder and gazed at him. "Alright, so no baby questions then." She broke into laughter, as she said the words. "Sorry, for some reason I find the fact that she asked amusing."
<span style='color:purple'>So do I</span> He said, smiling and giving her a peck and hugging her, enjoying the embrace.
Nyx smiled. She glanced at the door. She leaned in close, and kissed him lightly. After a moment she broke the kiss. She pulled away slightly. She thought she heard footsteps. She looked at Raizan and asked,"Did you hear footsteps?"
<span style='color:purple'>Yeah, they are coming up...lets give em a show, shall we?</span> He said, kissing her deeply and wrapping his arms around her. His mom had been waiting to see this, he just knew it.
Nyx melted into his arms, returning the kiss. She felt a shiver of excitement run up her spine, as the kiss went longer.
Raizan's parents opened the door, seeing their son making out with his girlfriend. "Eh-hem" They said, causing raizan to turn and act suprised. <span style='color:purple'>Uhhhh...Hi dad</span> He said, struggling to keep from laughing
