1. Quarter: Tessera

Falcon slowly made his way through the hallways to his dorm, his brain flooding with thoughts of what just happened in the foyer. If anyone tried to speak to him while he made his way to his dorm, he wouldn't know, he was to lost in his thoughts to even hear anything outside his head.

When he made it to his dormitory, he slumped on his bed. His side of the room was probably to messy to even look at, pillows and blankets that have been thrown to the floor, chewed up plush toys littered pretty much everything, and even a few burn marks on the wall and the end of his bed made by his tail flame. The other side of the room, was quite tidy, not a single object misplaced or damaged. This was because it belonged to no other student. He had no room mate. Why he hadn't envaded both sides of the room, he had no idea.

His head hurt in thought. How could I be related to someone so... cold? She doesn't look a thing like me... He took a hand mirroir from the desk and looked at his reflection Ok, maybe a little, but why had she hidden so long and show up now? Falcon threw the mirroir to wall, giving no regard to the fact it wasn't his, it was the school's. It hit the wall on its side, and landed on the floor with a silent 'pooft' showing no signs of being damaged at all.

2. Lukia was wondering down the hundreds of corridors trying to find Falcon after that little incident in the Foyer. He'd scared her. As she continued her walk to find the right Dorm, she got more tense as she wished to ask him something else.... and was scared he wouldn't......

Corridor after corridor. Door after door. She passed hundreds of them until finally she found she wanted just as she heard something hit a wall and slide down behind the very same door. She knocked softly on the wooden door, worried...

3. Falcon's ears twitched at the sound of someone knocking on the door. He sighed, hoping it wasn't just a random pendragon wanting to know what happened, he didn't really feel like explaining what happened to some kid half his age.
He slowly got up and walked to the door, whiched screeched a bit as he opened it. "Oh, Lukia? Come in..." He sighed as he made his way back to his bed. "Hey sorry about what happened earlier, I don't know what she wants with Aurora..." His tail was once again swaying back and forth, sending out blue sparks from his tail flame.

4. She smiled gently, still not convinced he was ok. Stepping into the room, she noted that he seemed to be the only resident. Perhaps.... She snapped her mind to the present as she heard his apology. Oh no Falcon. It wasn't your fault. You just scared me. Did you hear me as you were unconcious? I was trying to revive you... I don't want to loose anyone who I know.... I've lost too many in the past... She said sadly. This was because on her travels, she'd met another orphan, called Stifh and they'd traveled around together for a couple of years. One night though, Stifh was murdered as they slept, the killer never was found...

5. Falcon looked at her, his blue flame dipped fore paws pushed against the bed frame, making a slightly annoying creaking sound, but was only doing it out of confusion.
He thought back, "I thought it was just a dream..."He blushed, not knowing what to say.

6. She grinned as she saw him blush. Who's blushing now? she giggled, her colourful furry tail of the three blues moving gently form side to side as she sat on the floor watching him. No, I was the one speaking in your head. Why? Have you dreamt about me then? she said curiously, still grinning widely.

7. Falcon stepped back, completely shocked at her comeback from his little 'your blushing' tease a few days ago. "I guess it's me..." He hummed a bit, accidentally whipping his tail into his side, creating a small burn from his tail flame "Ow..." rubbed his side. "Dreaming about you?" quite embarrassed, and a bit unthoughtfully said, "No... not ever! It could have been anyone speaking.."

Outside of the door, Aurora fell down to the ground in Falcon's boyish stupidity with a small *thump*.

8. Hmm. she said quietly as she watched him. Are you alright? Not hurt are you? she said in alarm as his tail flame hit his side. She walked over a little closer to look at the wound, a small burn. As she heard his little comment, her face dropped in sadness. Typical. she thought to herself. so now he can't even distinguish between voices. Fine. ... Perhaps he hit his head harder than I thought... Oh. Yes...I suppose. She said turning away a little. Her ears picked up the sound of a bump from outside the room and she frowned. Perhaps she'd better go.... and not bother asking... she could always ask the Administrators to stick her in a room on her own.... it'd just be lonely..... she hated being lonely....

9. Aurora watched Lukia make her way out, she glowed a bit. "Lukia..."

Falcon caught sight of Lukia leaving, and went to go after her, but Aurora stopped him dead in his tracks. "Hola half sis, if you'd so nicely get-"

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT BEING NICE!" Aurora growled as she ran up to him and bit him hard on the ear "Have you know respect for other peoples feelings?" she swiped at her half brother's face, but missed. "She just wanted to know you were her friend! and you put her down!" She tackled Falcon, sending him for the second time that day, to the ground. "You better go down that hall and apologize!" Aurora got off of him, then shoved him into the hallway.

Falcon shook his head as he fell into the hallway. With Lukia just half way to the administraters, he ran for it. "LUKIA! WAIT!!" He came running for her as if she was going on a life long boat trip and would never see her again, "Wait! I'm sorry... Just everything that has been going on, please, I didn't mean to say that!" He panted as he caught up to her. "I'm sorry I lied, I did know it was your voice, I was just, to embarrassed to say it... Can you forgive me?"

10. Lukia ignored the commotion going on behind her as she continued to walk down the corridor, shouts and thumps coming from the room she'd appeared from. Her head was looking towards the floor so because she wasn't looking where she was going, she bumped into a couple of people as she walked, them complaining as they went. Suddenly, she stopped dead in her tracks as she heard Falcon shout out for her. She turned around to face him curiously and sat right in the middle of the hallway. Embarrassed? What have you got to be embarrassed about? Of course I'll forgive you. It's very rare I'd speak directly into someone's mind like that. I don't really like doing it..... you scared me.... I didn't want to loose anyone else..... She said as a small tear fell down from her glittering eye

11. "Well uh..." He trailled off for a moment. "I'm sorry I scared you... I almost scared myself, just what happened back there..." He spotted a few pendragons trying to listen in on their conversation and sighed "Err, can we go back to my dormitory? Its a bit to public here..."

12. She looks up at him, her purple eyes still watery and the odd tear still falling down her cheek. It's okay... it wasn't your fault... She said sniffing. She heard his comment about it not being private and she too saw the other 'dragons gathering round, some older and some younger than them. Most were older and should have known better. She glared at a couple who instantly began walking down the corridor and she turned to Falcon and nodded. Yes. That is a very good idea.. She said getting up and moving down the corridor a little, making those watching scatter....

13. He sighed sadly as he wiped a tear off of Lukia's face. "Let's go..." He walked with her back to his dorm, where Aurora was still waiting.

"Looks like you two have made up quite quickly. Leave it to Falcon to say something stupid like that" There was a glint of laughter in her eyes, her grin was wide.

"Would you take a hike squirt?" He almost growled at her, "You shouldn't even be in my dorm without my permission! Get out!"

Aurora mumbled as she walked by and through the doorway. "Why should Falcon boss me around... that no good little brat..."

14. She'd not commented on him wiping away her tear before they walked dwon the corridor back to the dorm where Aurora was waiting. Lukia smiled when she heard Aurora's comment, noting the laughter in her eyes and Lukia smiled a little in agreement. She frowned a little though as she heard Falcon snap at his half-sis. Why be horrible to her? She was only joking... she thought silently to herself. She smiled at her as she went past, muttering about him under her breath. Lukia pushed the door up, but not shut, before moving over to him, not saying a word.....

15. Falcon sighed as he took his place back on his bed, almost tripping on the objects on the ground every so often. Geez, I really should get to cleaning this rat hole... He looked back at Lukia and spotted the frown on her face. "She's my sister We never really get along on a regular day..." He looked up and sighed. "Now where were we back there..." He sat there thinking for a moment...

16. She wiped the frown of her face immediately and watched as he tripped over object after object trying to get to his bed. She swiftly gathered the objects up and piled them neatly on the other bed out of the way. She turned to him and smiled a little, her lionlike tail moving about gently as she awaited his response..

17. Falcon stared at the ceiling. "You know back there... I never felt so scared... or couragous in my life... When Serria had taken Hart by the neck, I just jumped in there, I may not have known quite then that she was my mother, but part of me did... Another part knew she was the one who killed my father... I wanted to tear her limb from limb" He got back up off the bed, and started pacing, kicking away any object Lukia may have missed. "She caused me so much pain and to think she's my mother..." He swatted at a small pillow on the floor, sending it flying at the wall with a quiet 'poof' He looked around and saw Lukia placing a pile of junk on the opposite bed. "Err... you didn't have to do that..." He took another swat at the pillow and it landed neatly on his own bed.

18. Her face fell as her blood ran cold. She... she killed your father? She said quietly. Oh Goddess.... This doesn't get any better... Her purple eyes looked him squarely in the eye as she, not realising, let her claws out and in again out of sight. She picked up another pile and neatly stacked it against the other one. Well, you can't live in a rubbish dump now can you? And anyway, what'd happen if a teacher came in and sw this mess?

19. "Yeah... He had split up with her and left me with her when I was only 100 or 200... I didn't know why he left... or what Serria had for me... I grew up, and I was 800... she started training me to fight... being the nieve child I was then, I went along with it, attacking any little small creature I could find until, she decided to take me out on a real hunt. I didn't know what she meant, so I came with her. There were also several other black pendragons. Serria called them the nightmare soldiers... We stopped when we were within eye shot of Him... Appeared he had re-married another pendragon... I didn't quite get her name. Aurora was there too... Serria wanted me and the nightmare soldiers to kill them... I stepped back, this was the first time she shown me her true colors before. I didn't like it. When we all stormed down the hill side, My dad spotted us first. The nightmare soldiers took on the female, and Serria had taken on my dad... When she took the first swipe at him, I was all over her, leaped on her nose and tried to pull her away, but she was too strong for me and she easily knocked me off easily. I spotted Aurora on the ground, too young to even move.. The female was too busy attacking the nightmare soldiers, that she couldn't protect Aurora... and one soldier was going to take out Aurora. I sped and took her by the scruff of the neck and ran into the safety of some nearby trees, and watched the fight rage. Serria killed my father. The female being to powerful to kill, was captured... I ran off again with Aurora, and, I left Aurora deep in the woods... hoping no one would find her.. I forged some berries and killed a few small animals and left them near Aurora... I never saw her again until I came here..." He sighed, regretting ever leaving Aurora alone.

Out in the hall, there was a loud sob... Aurora was still standing there at the door. Falcon just stood their staring at the ceiling... ignoring Aurora

20. Lukia sat still and listened closely to this narrative. It was so sad. She wanted to cry again but decided that she shouldn't... she didn't want to seem like a baby now did she? She curled her tail round her hind legs and sighed deeply shaking her head. Looking up, she noted Falcon looking up at the ceiling and heard the sob from outside the door. She didn't think somehow that Aurora would have gone away. Lukia looked at the partially closed door before looking at Falcon again, ignoring the weeping 'dragon. She wasn't quite sure what to do. She didn't want to offend Falcon and yet, she wanted to go and help Aurora. She decided to thought speak again since Aurora would be able to speak back...

.:~:. Aurora.... is that you? Are you ok? .:~:.

She said gently, hoping Falcon wouldn't suspect....

That's awful Falcon...I can't believe anyone could be like that...
