45th, Tria 81379 Jyr wandered down a hallway, eventually coming to a pair of steps. The musty smell of the basement found it's way to Jyr's sensitive nose. He knew where these steps headed, well - sort of. He knew they were to a basement, but he didn't know what the basement was for. He walked down the steps and found himself in a corridor of sorts, with doors which read "<span style='color:red'>Staff Only</span>" Jyr knew he shouldn't go in there, and the curiosity bugged him, but he simply swept by the door looking for one that did not say staff only. Finally he found one, and where the sign was normally attached to the door it had been ripped off, all that remained was the screws and a few bits of plastic. Studying it, Jyr knew he didn't do it... But what I don't know can't hurt me, can it he thought with a grin For instance, if I don't know this is staff only, then I won't know not to go in it. Jyr grinned wider and looked to see if the coast was clear.
The hallway's double doors burst open, a flash of black and maroon darting through them at a high speed. Cho hugged her binder to her chest, gritting her teeth against the lump in her throat. A trio of unfamiliar thill's eyed her with confusion as she ran past them, tail streaming out behind her as she beelined for the nearest set of stairs. Spotting the familiar sign, with it's forboding red text and cloudy glass window, Cho gave a quick glance about before opening it and half running, half jumping down the stairs, taking them two or three at a time in her haste. Emerging into the rather poorly lit basement hall, she nearly careened headfirst into yet another student she didn't know. This time, an arden. Landing on her rear with a quiet 'oof' of exhaled air, Cho groaned slightly and peered up, trying to make out the unfamiliar face against the backdrop of the dirty ceiling. "Unh... S-sorry, didn't see you there..."
He was about to fling wide the door when he felt a presence. He dutifully closed it and leaned up against the wall as a Pendragon darted down the stairs, nearling slamming into him he flung himself against the wall to avoid an unnecessary collision. Cho flew down to the floor.<span style='color:blue'>"I wouldn't worry about it, I seem to have a knack for people running into me,"</span> he said with a slight twitch of a grin <span style='color:blue'>"I'm Jyr."</span> he said, offering a hand.
Hissing slightly at the fresh pain that blossomed in her shoulder, Cho shly took the offered hand, using it as leverage to hoist herself up. Pausing only to check that her binder hadn't spilled it's contents out and onto the ground, she glanced back at -Jyr. was it?- from behind her bladed bangs. "Cho Seitzu. Or just Cho if you want." she muttered quickly, averting her gaze back to the heavily graffitited cloth binder in her arms. "Still, I'm sorry about that..." she fidgeted, shrugging her pack off her back and slipping her book into it to get it out of the way before she continued. "I wasn't expecting anyone down here."
OOC: Sorry for the lost time, i burned out my motherboard and access is limited IC: <span style='color:blue'>"Neither was I, exploring is something i tend to do alone, or have in the past - then again, in the academy it seems that everyone is so eager to join me"</span> he said, cracking a smile. 'I wonder what they keep down here.' he thought
