[Tessera (Autumn)25, 81380] Rom walks through the courtyard with a smile on her face. She had forgotten how much she loved this campus especially this time of year. Holding her child with one arm and with a coffee in the other hand she was the perfect picture of multitasking. Devs little face looking all around at the colours and surroundings, she remembered this place. Her little legs kick at her mom and tugging at her hair with excitement as they walk, Rom used to this arrangement sips at her coffee and walks unaffected by her daughters wiggles.
At this time Temyc was sitting on a bench in the courtyard, looking at his feet. He was silent, his eyes staring blankly at the ground. First he lost Devs, then Chiara. Everything he ever cared about went missing in his life. His daughter, his love, his family's honor. He gripped his knees tightly.. "Devs..." his own flesh and blood, taken away from him. He loved his daughter, more than anything. He missed her so much. He held the blankie he gave her in one of his claws tightly.
Finally the wiggling got to the best of her and Rom kneeled down sitting her on the ground sitting beside her. There was no snow and the ground was dry but still Devs was so bundled in warm clothes so she was more then safe. There the two of them sat Devs throwing leaves and Rom sipping the rest of her coffee taking away leaves Devs tried to shut in her mouth to the sad look of the child until she found a bigger brighter leave that would taste even better.
Unaware of his own daughter being no more then 50 feet away from him, he stared at the blankie in his hand. He missed his daughter so much, yet he was so focused on remembering the good days, he didnt seem to know that all his anguish could end right there if he looked behind him.
Rom turned her head for a quick moment to sneeze and Devs took her chance and shoved a handful of leaves in to her month and began chewing loudly. “DEVS!" Rom says in no an angry tone but more of a you really think this is smart tone. Devs soon realizes just because they are pretty colours doesn’t mean they taste good as she begins spitting the leaves down squealing as she tries to rid her mouth of the leave taste. Rom simply smiled “I tried to tell you but you never listen" she says with a small giggle as she reached forward and wiped the leaves from her daughters chin and hands.
Temyc's eyes widened and he looked up. He recognized that squeal, standing and turning around. Finally he say them, he felt week in the knees and took a step forward. "DEVS?!"
RomÂ’s and Devs ears perk at the same time at the name. Rom slowly turns her head to see Tymec standing there as she slowly stands up taking Devs up in her arms with her eyes wide. Devs head tilts slightly to the side as this fellow said her name, sheÂ’d met him before but where? Did he know the leaves didnÂ’t taste good too was that why he had such the funny look on his face?
Temyc walked to them with haste, looking at Rom sternly "Where you guys been? I was so scared you took my daughter away from me, for ever." He frowned "Hi Darling" he then smiled at Devs. "I missed you allot"
Devs looks at the male in front of her, he smelled like something she new like safe. Rom just stood there as the father of her child “We just went on a little vacation, I needed out of the city" she said with a small shrug
Temyc looked at her with a raised brow bone "You should tell me when you do that. She is my baby too." He frowned and gripped the bankie tightly. "I really missed her too...." Temyc did, Devs was gone when he needed her most. After Chiara disapeared too, Temyc had nothing. \
Shrugs slightly again “It was spontaneous sorry about it" She said softly as her daughter looked at the man with the blanket. She had one at one point. She reached out slightly for it to make sure it was the same one she once slowly things were coming together.
Temyc looked down and handed Devs the blankie "Here ya go hun. its yours anyways, im sure you missed it." He smiled at her and patted her on the head. "Please dont do it again Rom. SO much has happened and I needed my daughter."
Grabs the blanket holding it to her face as she was reunited with an old friend."Well I was going through a thing and I needed my daughter too, I am sorry for what you went to but I had to get out and she goes where I go. Not like you would have time to take her with school and what not" She says adjusting Devs from one hip to another.
"I have allot more free time then you think, just next time when your gunna disapear, please tell me. I was worried about my daughter." He petted Dev's on the back of the head for a moment, just so happy to see his flesh and blood again. "You wanna come over to my arms, babe?"
Devs to pre occupied by the long returned friend didnÂ’t even notice she was being addressed her mother on the other hand looked at Tymec shifted her weight so the infant would be able to make the shift easily.
Temyc slowly took Devs into his arms and held her close. "Oh my your getting big my girl." he smiled and nuzzled into her, snuggling her. His eyes closed, and a smile upon his snout. "I love you so much Devs. Do you love me too?"
