Day 12 (4) Dyo Khaz just came from running away. Away from Veja's room, away from what may scare him in the near future, Temrin. <span style='color:red'>"How can she not be afraid of becoming deaf? That's creepy. Hope she doesn't invade my brain... Anyway back to my room."</span> <span style='color:gray'>"Hey Khaz!"</span> Kipcha yelled from down the hall. <span style='color:red'>"Hello airhead, how's our day?" </span> <span style='color:gray'>"Well, i actually talked to people today!"</span>Kipcha was roaring with excitement. Khaz was happy for her. she had been the silent one for very long, and to have her speak to people that she didn't know was like Khaz not flying for a week. <span style='color:red'>"Wow, that's Amazing!"</span> that's what kicked Khaz in the butt. He hadn't any of his own friends to talk to. Nobody yet. He wasn't really going to start today. He was going to sit in is room. Why? He didn't know. It was subliminal. His blue and brown eyes switched around until they were perfectly balanced. He took his key and waved at his sister who was about to go to Veja's room and tell of her triumph."I wonder what'll happen. Aww well." He opened the door and went in. His room was empty, except for some clothing in the closet and his 'Twin-Blade' that he was training with, that was on his bed. He sat. <span style='color:red'>"Oh great, Boredom must be hereditary, because I got it too. Hmm...I can leave the door open. That's how Veja met people."</span>
OOC: Yay, thanks very much for starting. :) I'm trying to cut down on my post lengths, they're usually mini novels, and those aren't any fun -_o IC: Its like a giant mouse maze... She tumbled the idea around in her head, as bare feet waltzed through the corridors. Yet another place she hadn't explored yet. The duel hued newbie had quickly found, by means of both trampling through unknown hallways and peering into classrooms, that Janardan was quite large, and that it would take her a good ammount of time to get her feet about the place. Currently, however, she wanted to partake in none of that traveling. She had only one thing in mind. Bed, bed, bed,bed,bed... She still hadn't found a resting place, so to speak, since she entered the school. Sure, there were chairs and various benches that laced the office and cafeteria, but she honestly was too excited to pop a squat in one of those. Food, food, food! Which was another greedy want she had, and really tallied up to be two things she longed for. She still had the munchies, and her stomach growled consistantly, loudly, so that it could be heard purring through the halls. Frayed, dirty tassels and portions of her oversized jeans near the bottom that had ripped were trailing behind her like streamers, as always. Her 'blues' swished with every step she took, adding to the ruckus she caused in the otherwise silent stretches of room. Black and white digits drummed against the inside crook of her arm, drawn close to her body. She had become a bit more accustomed to the lack of both food and smokables, and thus seemed to calm down a little. It was either that, or she was about ready to keel over in an exhaustion spell. Either concept she took with grace, and figured she would find food and sleep soon enough. Infact, she decided to finally take action. Why, all these little 'ol rooms, full of beds and snackables, surely there should be some room in at least one of them for me. They wouldn't mind sharing, I'm sure. Her devious ways had caught up with her, and she now was aiming to do exactly as she had done with the showering situation. Invade a home while nobody is there, do what you wish, leave no traces of you visit, and high tail it out of there having fulfilled your needs. Of course, it was perfect. A sinister gring caught thwe sides of her mouth and yanked them up high and proud. As she tip-toed to the nearest dorm, she found that the entry way was clear, which made her all the more pleased. Helloooo Mr. Open Door. How are we today? You have a visitor, oh boy! Cautiously lifting a nimble foot, she began to sneak through the dorm's gaping mouth. Soon she would have her fill. Like the cunning goldie Locks, she would saunter on in, find some goodies to devour, take a nap in someones bed, then be on her way, good as new, hopefully not running into any "bears"along the way. Slinking into the room a bit further, she surveyed the area, and found a dismal shock that cast her formerly good spirits to the bottom of the murkiest lake. There, sitting statuesque on what she assumed to be their own bed, was a he-'dragon, most likely the owner. Damn... Her ideas were blown, and she figured that unless he was pleased with her singing and dancing, she would recieve neither food nor a resting place tonight. However, there was always room to try. Clearing her throaght, she maintained a collected, poised appearance while mosying her way over towards the bed. Flashing one of her best smiles towards the other, she quickly and gracefully took a seat on the floor next to the bed, and to where he sat. Folding her legs into a pretzled shape, comfortable enough, she breathed a sigh of relief, gratitude, and exhaustion into the air and swiveled her head this way and that, seemingly checking out the dorm. She did it, she was finally resting. Her legs throbbed and feet felt weightless. Now, even if she was thrown out, she could say that she rested, even just for a moment, and was exstatic. Turning to face the other, she casually belted out a compliment, and perhaps even a conversation starter. Nice place.
Half-sleep, half awake. :Khaz hurry and get your sister from out of the tree. She got stuck in a branch. :Okay mom.: :Son, it's time you learn how to catch your own food: :Aww...Come on, Khaz, just talk to her. She probabaly likes you too. :I'm always here if you need to talk alright. That's what twins are for: Flash backs of home seemed to just zip past his mind. His boredom has finally soughtto bring out his imagination. He seemed to notice another, who came in his room. But he couldn't move. Seeing all his family again, it didn't matter. He felt comfortable. When she sat, everything was gone. He could move again. He let out a nice yawn. The pendragon looked tired, as if she could just plop her whole body on the floor and just sleep. He smiled. Wow, Veja's open dooor technique really does bring others in. He's a genius! When he wants to be anyway... Hearing a compliment being thrown towards him, he was greatly considerate. Normally, he would just go on and on about his room right now, but something made him feel different. He didn't want to boast about stuff. Meeting people new from all across... everywhere. It was amazing. And to just have one person to be here talk to him made him feel all the better. Well, say something at least. <span style='color:blue'>" Umm...thank you. I did most of it myself. Looks like home, just without the clothes on the floor."</span> He seemed to try and listen for something. The other didn't exactly say it, but her stomach did. In a miniscule tone, Khaz heard a small cry for food. Well, if you want something to eat you can ask but she must be trying to be polite. He remembered something that he did with the wall. <span style='color:blue'>"are you hungry? I have a secret stash of food. No one can ever find it. Watch</span> HE gently tapped the wall twice. The table on the other side of the room shook. With a quick punch to the wall. A box fell. From where? Nowhere, it was so completely random. From inside the box, multiple candy bars, lollipops, gumdrops, chocolate bars and the occasional mints, spewed itself on the floor. <span style='color:blue'>"Yup, now it looks like home. Take as much as you need. I get alot for free."</span>
She must be cursed. Yup, that was the word, cursed. And no, by no means was she exagerating. Of course not. What could be worse than running away from home and finally having a glimpse of the freedom and the joy that awaited her later on in life, once she could finally be rid of that annoying thing that people liked to call 'society', only to be found and sent to this prison instead? Little did it help that Eris had some of the poorest social skills to be found in Ramath, and that she hated other 'dragons almost as much as she hated herself. As the intorverted teen made her way down the long corridors of what would be her 'home' for the next few months, maybe years, she reflected on how undair life was, and on how much pleasure she would take in seeing this place burst into flames right there and then. Some might say that she was mad, for if it burst into flames right there and then, she would probably be consumed by the fire as well. She would probably answer that it would be better that way. Eris always walked with her head low, absorbed in her own little world. It was therefore far from surprising that at that very moment fate choose to make her bump into a little first grader. Now, a normal reaction might have been to say sorry, to smile or maybe to scold. But Eris was far from normal. For a second the large rain-coloured orbs that were her eyes grew to inordinate proportions, before returning to there previous state. By then, though, the angsty teen had already fled, and was running as if her life depended on it, searching for a hiding place. A little further on, she spotted an open door, and, not having any other choice, ran straight into the room, hoping she would finally have some peace and quiet. Catching her breath a little, not daring to open her eyes, she smiled a small smile. When she finally opened them though, what she saw both horrified and amused her. The floor was littered with a plethora of different sweets, all more colourful than one another. What horrified her though, was that she was, in fact, far from alone. Just. Run. Now. "Errr... Hi there?" she began, her smile faltering slightly.
Yet another came in. " Wow, two. Better than one. She looks like she came from running...a lot. I hope she's not in trouble.Khaz smiled <span style='color:blue'>Hi.</span>he saw that she was eyeing the candy. <span style='color:blue'>It's alright. You can get some too. I get a lot for free. Saving lives of people that own candy companies can pay itself one day. You shouldn't be so tense, it ruins your arm muscles.</span> Khaz spiraled his wrist. A beat of wind flew up. Elemental Sorc. classes was the best thing that happened to him. Spiraling in a ball of wind came up two bags of N&Ns. <span style='color:blue'>Here.</span> Each bag flew towards his guests.<span style='color:blue'>So, tell me about yourselves. I'm Khaz Siruls."</span>
Super, fantastic! He wasn't angered, no not at all. It seemed as though he were surprised, and glad. Awesome.. A smile spread across her face as she watched with curiosity, the little pen' cross the room and pound on a wall. Oh oh, its magic! A short, contented laugh was shot from her mouth at his joke about messy rooms. She was simply happy to be resting, and to have someone to talk to. Soon though, the contented laugh morphed into a hysterical, "i can't believe it" full blown cackle. Her eyes grew wide and shone with intreague as she peered at the loot the young one offered to share. The smile curled into a delighted grin, and, refusing to take her attention off of the candy, she addressed the other in an exstatic manner. Little man, you just made me the happiest thing on these school grounds. Thanks just ever so much! Creeping towards a nearby pile of assorted chocolates and colourful candies, she examined each for a while, then resorted to fully devouring them, uttering a "This is great!" and a "Thanks again" in between mouthfuls. Hearing a voice come from the direction of his entry way, she lifted her head from the mess of goodies for but a moment. It was another pendragon, female, maybe looking to join in on the fun? Which would be welcomed, at least by her. Mouth crammed full with a chocolate bar, the evidence smeared around her lips, she gave a 'sup nod and issued a thumbs up, while through a stuffed face she managed to mumble. 'Yo! Her ears swiveled apart from each other as she continued to sort through the aray of candy. The dorm owner's voice came to her as she preoccupied herself, and she found it comforting. It was nice. He didn't seem kanniving or boastful, simply very genuine and straight forward, not having anything to hide. Her attention was diverted from her sweets, as she felt a gust of wind arise from the floor, and saw that a foreign object was being hurled at her. Distraught, she found it hard to decide between continuing to gnaw on the crunch bar clutched in her palm, or to save herself from being beamed with the flying object. Quickly, she bent to the side and extended her striped arm, snatching up the bag, without having to drop her precious chocolate bar. A brownish, prideful smirk came afterwards, and she glanced at the bag contents. More goodies! It was perfect... simply perfect. Others to talk to, food to fill her belly, and something to finally sit on! Was ... was she dead? Was this the good side of Fronima? No, just a dorm, with some friends, and a whole store's supply of candy. Finally, she paused in her whirlwind of devouring. Its nice to meet you Khaz. I'm Rochi, still very new here, don't even have a dorm yet. Heh, thanks for, ehm... sharing yours for a while. Its very generous. And you... She turned towards the other, who was probably still overwhelmed by the sight of all this. A lock of green, orange, yellow hair slid down from her shoulder and hung in her face, to which she didn't bother to remove. It still smelled like raspberries. You, I think, I'll be happy to make acquaintances with as well. On the track team or something there, speedy?
Khaz smiled. She lunged agter the candy like there was no tommorrow. He was right. Rochi was hungry, very, very hungry. To have a guest say that she was the happiest person on the school grounds made him evn more happy. Well, yeah, he did his share of saving lives, but when she said it, it meant everything at the moment. He had nothing witty to say. Only a <span style='color:blue'>"If you're happy, I'm happy."</span> or something across that line. She spoe of not having a dorm. Knowing that there was 4 beds in one dorm he wrestled with his two consciences. GO ON! Ask! She'd say yes. But what if she says no. THen she says no. She won't threaten you with your own 'Twinblade' not to talk to her again. But, it's so weird... asking people to stay in your own dorm. SO what who cares if you ask she might say yes. You'd like that. I know I would it's just... The winner... the daring conscience. <span style='color:blue'>Sssoo... If you don't have one you can stay in mine. If that's ok, anyway. </span> "Please say yes, please say yes..."
"Say. Something... Anything?" Amazed at her up-to-then inexistant relfexes, she caught the bag of N&N's, Eris contemplated either introducing herself, thanking the stranger, or simply running away. Run... Instead though, a tentative smile plastered on her face, she replied. "Thanks. Name's Eris. Just got here, too." "And I hate myself", she added to herself. And to the other, she simply frowned, shrugged and replied sheepishly, "I got... Scared. Maybe I should sign up for the track team though" in what she hoped would sound like a joke.
Walking down the hallway she searched for a dorm to stay in. Her head was pounding all the thoughts! She moaned and rubbed her aching head still searching for a dorm. She continued walking when she saw the dragon from the gates. He was talking to someone. It was agains't her morals to listen in on people conversations so she continued to search for a dorm.
