Calm voids simply stared out from under her silken hood, though a flash of annoyance was shown around the pupil. She knew not to arouse them into a fight; after all, she was alone, and there was a whole group of them. A yell floated back at her, and a wolf-whistle echoed with it. "Move your ass along!" The faetale could not help but let a smirk slide onto her kissers before she pushed her way through the double-doors of The Watering Hole, auds fluttering in amusement. She carefully folded back her hood, and stared around at the scenery of the bustling building, taking in the detail of the mexican-style weaves and furniture. There were even cactus plants sat in a corner, their spikes faintly gleaming in the dim light. Snorting, she marched over to the bar and seated herself on a tall stool, her head bent as the mumbled her order. "A small cocktail, please." The bartender busily turned and began to make her drink while she glanced down the side of the bar, watching all the customers as they drank heartily, some draining their glasses in one gulp, making it obvious they were drunk. A small rap on the counter brought back her attention, and orbs rested on the pale pink liquid in the glass, one of those daft little umbrellas sticking out of it, along with a straw. Sighing, she reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out some cash, sliding it towards the mascu and moving the cocktail towards her. A mutter of thanks was spoken, and he bustled away to take the order of another 'dragon sat further down, a wild grin apparent on their dials. Ignoring the fact that it was practically a drunkies' night, she leaned forwards and sipped the drink delicately through the straw, eyes resting on the water-level as it dropped steadily down. In the space of a minute or so it had gone, and the fae sat, fiddling with the mini umbrella absently. Not much had gone on since she'd met Dumu and Raizen, and there'd been a lot of late nights. But what did she care? Head rested heavily on her paw, eyelids drooping, though she did not let sleep wash over her.
Raizan wlked in, noting ryhaneu at the bar. Let have a little fun with her He thought, slowly moving around the drunks, or stepping over them. He snuck up behind her, poking her on the shoulder and covering her eyes. "Guess who?" He said, changing his voice. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I can't think today.</td></tr></table>
Sleepily she rubbed her eyes, and groggily watched the unconscious 'dragons laid on the floor, claws wrapped tightly around bottles of vodka. Voids shifted back to the bartender, who was tutting under his breath while cleaning a glass with a cloth. Breathing heavily, she leaned forwards, and was about to ask for another cocktail, when someone's finger jabbed her firmly on the shoulderblade. Scowling, she prepared to whirl round to yell at a drunkie, though hands clasped over her eyes before she could do so. A familiar masculine voice was picked up by her sharp auds, and she reached up to gently remove the hand from her face, a grin spreading across her kissers. "Raizan!" Leaping forwards to give him a quick friendly hug, she mumbled quietly into his ear, ignoring the stares from the occupants of the bar. "I haven't seen you in ages. What happened?" She pulled away from him and settled back down to her usual quadruped position, staring him in the eye, a concerned expression on her own face.
"Nothing much, just been wandering around and practicing my trades in the caves. " He said, smiling at her and sitting down, ordering a drink for himself. "So how have you been?" He asked, looking at her and sighing, knowing he needed a break. After the incident, he had trouble with his aerokinesis, often it got out of control and created mini torandoes, wrecking anyplace where he wasn't concentrating when he practiced. After a few incidents of that, he knew he had to see someone, and ryhaneu was the first person who came to mind.
The faetale smiled, and wandered over back to the bar with him, seting herself on the soft green velvet stool, resting her feet on a 'spike' that jutted out wierdly. So he was still in caves? He should get a place for himself, really... Thinking about it for a few moments, she took hold of the abandoned straw and began to stir the piece of lemon around the glass, watching her friend. Watani was a suitable place to live, really. It was quiet around her area, though there were some typical junkies in main Swaraj. "You should really get a good place to live, you know. Watani is nice, there aren't many gangster parties around where I live, and it is reasonably quiet. I'm probably the noisiest neighbour, though." She grinned, flicking her umbrella while listening to the loud chorus of water from the artificial waterfalls here and there. When Raizan asked how she'd been, a mere shrug was given, and a sheepish smile replaced the grin. "Oh, lots of stuff... I've been out a lot recently, to get away from the study, it's hurting my eyes being in there almost 24 hours a day."
"I already did, turns out that my little shelter held a few of these." He said, pulling a dark blue jewel, noting that he had gotten this one crafted. "I got one of the apartments on the north side of the city, by the parks." He said, quickly putting the jewel away before anyone got ideas. His vodka came, and he downed it in one gulp, not feeling strange or woozy. He had build up a tolerance to it, using it when the nights got too cold in dhruv. "Why have you been in your study so long, are you going to school or something?"
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Lol, shall we let anyone else join? It could get fun. :evillaugh: </td></tr></table> Ryhaneu watched curiously as Raizan pulled out a dark blue diamond that glinted in the light. The north side.... she hadn't been there much, though there were several cosy little flats up there. But how on earth did he get this jewel? The mascu quickly tucked it into his pocket, and suspicion was aroused in her mind. She opened her kissers to say something, but decided not to, and hastily shut it closed again. His question about being in the study diverted her attention, but she still kept it in thought. "Of course not, I left school ages ago. My study is used for when I draw, which is usually all day and almost all night." She pointed to the heavy bags under her eyes, which were deeply outlined by now. It was quite obvious she hadn't had much sleep, or she would be sat up straight, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Well, not exactly bushy-tailed. Her voids settled on the bartender yet again as he disappeared through a door, and then on a waiter as he trotted through some double-doors, holding a tray with a rather large meal set neatly on a plate. The faetale turned back to Raizan, rubbing her forehead sleepily. "Do you want to go somewhere, or shall we stay here for a while?"
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Its okay with me, who do you want to join?</td></tr></table> "I suggest we go, Some people are looking at me and wondering how they can steal it." He whispered to her, noting a few muscular 'dragons making their way out of the bar. He knew that he was in for a rough night, but if he could get ryhaneu to her house, he wouldn't have as much to worry about.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>No-one in particular. But I caught A'delos reading, haha. =3</td></tr></table> She nodded, and pushed away her cocktail glass, pulling Raizan's hand away to the exit. There were some shifty expressions from the drunk guys as they watched the mascu suspiciously, auds moving down to his pocket. Ryhaneu simply gave them a fiery glare under her hood that she had pulled down after leaving the bar. "Quickly, c'mon - I think they've seen it. Raizan, you seriously could get in trouble doing stuff like that. Everybody will think you've stolen it, and I don't want you to get into a fight." She dragged him out of the doors, and stood in the dark street, which was dimly lit with lamplight. The small mob of teenage muscular males were standing closeby, yelling loudly and laughing.
"Let me guess why, some jewels that look like these dissapeared in a robbery a few days ago...and I think those males are looking at you." He said, removing her hand from from his arm. "Lets get out of here, shall we?" He said, pointing down an alley that looked clear.
Ryhaneu glanced over at the males that stood nearby - obviously drunk, since there were cans and chewing-gum wrappers littered all over the pavement. Orbs skittered over to the alley which Raizan had pointed out. It seemed a good idea, but somehow she did not like the look of it. Well, there was always Plan B. Unfolding her large bronze wings, she grinned at him, and pointed at them. "Then again, we can always fly." It was probably the best option, since they wouldn't get mobbed that way, so she instinctively shot up into the air, urging Raizan to follow with a small gesture of her hand. The gang of drunken teens had clearly noticed, and several were advancing towards the other mascu, their fists clenched, a greedy look on their faces. "C'mon, Raizan!" She hissed, pointing at the small army marching towards him, their orbs fixed onto his pocket.
Raizan shot up, unfolding his wings as well, noting that one of the gang had apparently pulled out a gun. Oh no you don't He thought, sending a gust of wind and knocking the gun away into the shadows. "<span style='color:orange'>Your lead</span>" He said, smirking at her.
The femme shrugged, and gave him a small grin of amusement as a gun was pulled out by one of the males, and then a storm of wind blew it away, like taking candy from a kid. Her, leading? Glad to... Beating her wings rapidly, she rode the breeze in the direction of her home, wingspan fluttering as zephyrs buffeted them. It was not that far; only trees concealed it for the moment, so she began to decend gradually down, turning in a few playful cartwheels as she did so. Finally her feet touched the ground, and she stared up at her home, especially at the chimney. Last time she had left the fire on it'd been quite frightening, just watching Dumu sat on the floor, concentrating on removing the demon-thing that haunted Raizan's mind. Moving the thought to the back of her head, she turned to wait for her friend, dial cocked as she watched the sky.
Raizan followed, letting the cool night air refresh him and clear his mind. He landed beside her, looking at the house and remembering the last time he was here. Dumu had done his job well, getting rid of the demon that plagued him and making sure it couldn't come back. His bronze wings folded against his body, appearing to fuse with the black scales on his body. "I think I shouldn't have drank that vodka so fast." He said, feeling a little woozy, but okay otherwise.
