"S-stop! Ugh!" an Arden cried. There was sick, cruel laughter. Another scream, then a moment of silence. "<span style='color:red'>When a beast catches prey, do you honestly expect it to be merciful?</span>" Sound of fire crackling and another scream, "Please! I have a fami-Argh!" But Draconan didn't care. He watch nonchalantly as the Arden cried and writhed in pain. One arm was snapped in two, and a leg was on fire. Upon closer inspection his ears had been torn off. Draconan laughed darkly. "<span style='color:red'>Show me your pain, show it!</span>" He leaned down and bit into the burning leg. The Arden screamed again. "<span style='color:red'>Not enough.</span>" Draconan growled, releasing the leg. "<span style='color:red'>Not nearly enough pain, hmm...</span>" He paused, circling his prey. "<span style='color:red'>You chose the wrong time to come to the swamp didn't you? Or do you live here? No matter, you will die.</span>" There was a sickening crack and the Arden's second arm broke. Another earsplitting scream, and another eerie silence.

Then the Arden groaned, "J-just... kill me... Please..." He whimpered. Draconan snarled at him, the Arden flinched. "<span style='color:red'>Would I honestly let my prey die when they ask? No...</span>" The leg had stopped burning, it wasn't a good idea trying to burn something in a swamp. Placing a large paw on the burned leg Draconan growled, "<span style='color:red'>Pretty serious burn no...? I can help you with that.</span>" Sinking the claws of both paws into the Arden's leg he bit down with crushing force. Intending to tear off this leg.

The Arden was now sobbing in pain, but Draconan was worried. He was throughly amused by how pathetic he was. With wings fully open Draconan proceded to crush the leg of his prey.

  2. Who :: Haku

She had been here recently. The thick pelted male stroke his muzzle against a fallen lodge, the lodge that he knew she had touched a few days before. To have her so close after so long was celestial. Eyes in swirling colors closed for a moment, taking in the mighty feeling filling his whole being. He had not known it was possible for someone like him to experience love. He dug his razor sharp claws deep down into the wood, once again coming back to his senses. Love was a sickness, a decease. Screams disturbed the quiet area, and gave a pleasant sigh before his ears flickered sharply and eyes focused. That was not the usual screams from his past, but from here.

The predator turned his frame towards the celestial sounds and made his way through the vegetation. Without a sound, without leaving any tracks, as the master in disguise and invisibility he was. "J-just... kill me... Please..." Haku stopped dead in his tracks as he realized what he actually had found. Beings having accidents and hurting themselves happened more often than people actually knew, and he should know. This was something quite different, someone, something was causing the pain. The scent of blood, and flesh, burning flesh. Haku's pelt raised as pleasant chills ran down his spine.

Sick cracking sounds Haku recognized too well could loudly be heard together with the squeaks of pain from the victim. He was close enough to watch the scene. A sick bubbling laugh threatened escaping from his chest and lungs. He had kept a slow profile since he came here, and had actually for the first time avoided other beings and creatures. He did not know this society yet, and would be careful with picking his own prey. However, seeing another pendragon torturing another made him boil inside with some sort of excitement. An extra pitiful piercing scream caused a moment of ignorance on Haku's part, and a bright crimson red tail flame erupted one second from Haku's own tail before he realized and suffocated it into nothing.

How retarded of him to reveal his position like that.. Haku flattened his ears and let his flameless tail swing slowly behind his dark furred body. He would first wait and see if he was discovered before making a move. Although hard to discover in the dark with his own dark features, Haku's position was far from invisible. Fear did not exist within the dark predator, it was an accident made into a test for the winged beast. Was the torturing beast too amused to be aware of other creatures approaching?

  3. The flash of red was enough to make Draconan look up and growl. "<span style='color:red'>Who dares interrupt my enjoyment? </span>" His silver and gold tail flame flashed to an aggressive maroon with a blood colored center, the tips of the flame flickered between maroon and gold. He did not mind another playtoy but he hated being interrupted before his current toy died. He could hear his prey's labored breath and the sounds of the forest, the intruder was skilled at hiding. knowing the tortured arden was not going anywhere he stepped away, and toward the source of the red light.

He growled deeply, wanting to get back to his 'fun'. "<span style='color:red'>Do not hide. I know you do not fear, there is no fear scent. Do we obviously want to wish eachother harm?</span>" He could faintly see the other through the dark, but was still weary. He was not in the mood to be attacked at all.

So sorry for the delay :( I have been extremely busy and still am, but I will try to get better at answering posts, and this will only last to the end of this month, then it will all be good again.

The growling sound from the other male sounded almost as purring in Haku's ears. The male watched the dragon like pendragon's tail flame flash into deeper colors, and then turned his gaze down to the side to gaze on his own, non-flaming tail. The victim was left helpless where he was, and the big brute turned around towards the spot where Haku so had been so carelessly to expose his position. Very well, he did not mind it turning out like this, not at all..

The brute spoke, and then Haku made a very doubtful move that could cost him. The ragged, dark wolflike male stepped forward straight to the other male, into the light of the dragon's flame, and stopped not less than two feet away from the other's face. Beautiful eyes in blue and green colors stared into the other's. That was right, there was no fear in Haku's system, he simply did not know fear, because he was the one creating it in other beings. He was the predator, the hunter, not the other way, never the other way.

" Wish eachother harm? No, why would I wish someone like you any harm? " Haku let his eyes wander down to the tortured being behind the other beast. How messy. Haku did not like it to be messy. How wonderful it would be to exchange information, techniques, everything! Adrenaline began to boil in silent excitement, this was what he breathed for, lived for.

<table class='ooc'><tr><td>No problem, also, lets just imagine Drac's had his current design the entire time <: Looky at his profile for a link.</td></tr></table>

Draconan laughed, a dark sound. He liked the look in the other's eyes. "<span style='color:red'>Of course not...</span>" He purred. The black flames of his own feet and tail eerily lit up the other's pelt. Draconan's eyes never left Haku, though he did notice Haku gazing at his prey. The markings down Draconan's flank and tail glowed eerily, almost like shimmering water, it'd fade and light in places. These markings flowed with the Fronima that Draconan controlled as his fire and... other skills with. All hostility left Draconan, though his guard never went down.

"<span style='color:red'>What brings you here this fine evening? Or is it day? You can never tell here, in the darker area of the forest.</span>" Casually striking up a conversation is what Draconan did, as if the Arden dying behind them wasn't there.

For a moment the marking on his front left paw flared slightly and died down. Draconan was obviously thinking deeply. The flames of his right feet licked at the wires and tubes embedded in them. But did not burn them like they did the grasses around Draconan's paws. These crumbled away into black ashes. To be forgotten by the flow of time.

  6. Allright :)

    --
" It is dawn, to be exact. " Haku simply said as he let his gaze rest on the Arden's broken limbs. He was smaller and less impressive than Draconan. A simple wild beast, one could think by a quick glance. It did not make him lesser than the other in any way, only by his current appearance, which was what he preferred. It was rather obvious what the draconic beast was, his appearance did give him away. In the dark his markings and features would make him visible when he should be hidden. This was just speculation going through Haku's mind as the first impression of the other male was being made.

While Draconan seemed to have lost his interest for the Arden at the moment, Haku wanted more. He positioned himself next to the tortured being, being very careful not to step on the Arden nor the pieces of torn flesh that the other dragon had ripped off before he had been interrupted by Haku's little glitch. The black and dark brown beast sat down and tilted his head slightly and watched the damage that had been done. The impression was.. messy, greasy. So much blood and gore spilled, just to be left? No, that was not Haku's style at all, but even though he thought of his work as the perfect piece of art, he knew that others would not agree, and that they all had their own ways of doing their job.

Haku leaned a bit more over the Arden, paws turning into something more similar to hands. With his left hand on the ground, he supported his upper weight, while gently brushing the dying Arden's hair, silently soothing the pendragon. He was sobbing, and was experiencing very much pain. " What has this Arden done to deserve such a distressing end of his life? " He asked as he kept stroking the dying male's hair and cheek. How well thought through were these doings?

  7. Draconan narrowed his eyes as Haku approached the dying Arden.Carefully pondering his answer, as there were many reasons he felt for doing this, he watched the other's actions. Approaching the mess he looked down coldly. "<span style='color:red'>It is simply the only enjoyment I find anymore. I cannot say there is any better answer or excuse.</span>" The marking on his paw flickered brighter red for a moment.

The gore Draconan had left began to smell, "<span style='color:red'>I believe scavengers will be here soon. More than just that as well. </span>" But that was merely intuition, as Draconan was used to this, routine almost. He watched Haku carefully, wondering why he had such a sick fascination with Draconan's prey. Truthfully, the massive beast was actually confused.

  8. The black beast nodded as Draconan spoke out his reasoning for the torture, which actually revealed the lack of it. Haku did however understand what the other dragon meant when he spoke of enjoyment. Am I beginning to get soft?. The thought was banished away at the moment he grasped the very question that had arise in his head. Haku was no longer young. He was old, very old. Although it was impossible to tell by his appearance, he usually did not mask his eyes with the illusion of something else. His eyes had seen decades pass.

" I understand. " Haku removed his hand from the dying arden and leaned away. The gore and blood filled his nostrils with its thick and heavy aroma, and the black and brown beast closed his eyes for a split second. How many lives had he taken throughout his own? He had died once, but he was not yet ready for the departure. Draconan spoke up, apparently concerned about the stench, for what creatures it might would bring. Haku looked up at the large 'dragon, blue green eyes showing nothing but the eternal calm he always carried with him.

" With such mess, it happens, though I believed the carnivores came after the superior predator is done with its feast. " Haku kept his stare at the other, and he allowed a sly grin to spread across his dark lips. " Are you scared? " Some gentle teasing could not harm.

  9. Draconan smirked at the taunting, "<span style='color:red'>Not scared, just bothersome to listen to the scavengers. Impatiently waiting to get a piece. It's annoying and often leads me to exerting more energy than I would have liked.</span>" It was a simple shrug. He seemed unaffected, but easily annoyed, almost bipolar. 'Such comes with being diseased I guess.' Weredragon instincts became hard to quell after being one for so long. He probably would have lost his mind by now if he didn't have the mindset of a Weredragon. Kill, kill, kill. At least still havinf his sanity he could enjoy the killing.

He began to mutter, "<span style='color:red'>Well, at least it is merely dawn.</span>" Draconan always became more and more restless around the full moon. He knew it was soon, anywhere from tonight or the next two to three nights. He'd become used to predicting the random bouts of insanity.

Suddenly remembering Haku he looked up, "<span style='color:red'>Ah, sorry, got lost in my train of thought there.</span>" Heku didn't seem to suspect anything, but Draconan knew Haku was wiser than he appeared. He would have to be careful, though there Weredragon and Vampdragon population had died down there was no reason for one to remember when they were common.

  10. Haku nodded slowly as Draconan smirked back and gave his a reason for why he disliked the scavengers. He could understand the other beast, but he himself saw it as fun. Fun because he saw himself as a master of hunting, and scavengers was quite entertaining when being played with. Haku had often ended quite some scavenger lives for some boredom killing. Maybe he could invite this interesting male along on the fun.

Then something interesting was being mumbled by Draconan. Haku doubted it was directed to him, and he took notice of the short absence in the large beast's eyes. Now, what could that possibly mean? Haku had still a child's curiosity at times, and his ears perked on top of his skull and dedicated themselves to catch up whatever sounds that may would escape the other male. Then it was over, and Draconan looked up at Haku again, returning from his set of apparently deep thoughts.

" What exactly are you?" forgetting the other pendragon, forgetting the beginning chitchat about possible incoming scavengers. There was something more. Some pendragons were more feral than others, but this one was particulary interesting, and Haku wanted to know. Now.

    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>LACK OF REPLY LOLSORRY.</td></tr></table>

"What exactly are you?" This made Draconan pause. Sometimes he considered this himself, was he merely sick? Or was it truly being a different pendragon. "<span style='color:red'>I am affected with an... old disease. It rarely comes to the surface anymore, so much I' beginning to think I'm going extinct.</span>" It was sad, Vampdragons and Weredragons were so rare now, and he didn't know why. He knew of a Vampdragon that still existed, but the rest seemed dead, as the news of them never came up anymore. He wished for once he could meet them on the street every day like he used to.

"<span style='color:red'>You seem smart. And of a good age, do you remember the weredragons and vampdragons? They are so scarce these days no one remembers us. I myself am one of the weres, a simple killing machine.</span>" He gestured at himself with a large paw. That was the easy way of describing himself. A killer.
