Hey everybody! The Starbaby is back!! (if anyone cares, haha) I have sailed the world, beheld its wonders, from the dardinells, to the mountains of Peru... Ok, maybe I haven't... but i've been gone for a while! and i have a lot of things to say: 1) HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!!!!!!! its been ages since i've been on RaL, and it was sad :(. 2) i had my junior prom in december, and why are guys such douches?? respond and i'll explain the douche thing. 3) i miss all you people! seriously, i have like no friends. 4) if anyone cares, i was Titania in the fall production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and we added 50's music to it because its my school Golden Anniversary. imagine me, singing Fever-- to a guy wearing a donkey's head. now add him in a toga and me in a pretty much see through, form fitting, floor length gypsy gown. yeah, the whole thing was hilarious. everyone loved it though! even though i did get stuck on most of the set during rehearsals... 5) again, if anyone cares, our spring musical is Anything Goes, and i was cast as an Angel. so i'm a back up singer, and i get to sing Take Me Back To Manhattan, which i really wish i could do. ok so i'm back, let me now if anyone wants to RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome back Starbaby. :D It sure sounds like you've been busy. I've been in a few plays... though none nearly as cool sounding as those ones.
haha thanks Jods... but sadly i have been forced to withdraw from the cast of Anything Goes, as my grades aren't really up to par. but i have an audition on monday for the New Jersey Performing Arts festival, and i'm hoping to score a coveted part: the Junior Audition. there's three people up for it, and only two slots. one i know is going to my friend jenn, who's amazing at everything she does, and me and my best are battling it out for the second slot. i'm singing The Light in The Piazza from The Light in The Piazza (look it up if you want, it's a really good show) and performing a monologue from Yankee Wives, which about the wives of the New York Yankees talking about their famous baseball husbands. it is REALLY funny. so yeah. thanks for the welcome back :D
Okay. I feel like a lewd bastard asking this, but... How does whomever is running a play get away with passing off a see-through gown? Even with multiple layers, it seems sort of silly...
