The beast swiftly approached the Uncoctoa from behind and slashed with a clawed paw over its back. He was content with the small crack and the sudden scream that erupted from the UncoctoaÂ’s throat before it fell to the ground, only to moments later drag itself up on its two forelegs, dragging itself half a feet away from him, then realizing the impossible situation it was in and turned itself halfway around, hissing and spitting <t the large canine pendragon. Haku simply smiled back at it and shook his head and shoulders in a manner that said; oh well, shit happens. The small hunterÂ’s body was ruined forever, Haku had cut through the small canineÂ’s spine, and only its front legs seemed to listen to the brainÂ’s silent commands of movement within the small creature.

This was such an inspiration. New species, a wide variety of meals. He had not been here for much more than a month. Actually he did not count the days, but he meant he was establishing himself rather well, although he occasionally felt the urge to return to the cold north. The problem was it had not felt right without her. His mind wandered back to the small canine again. It was a young one, barely two and a half feet in height, and with a rather indelicate green coloration mixed with dark brown. A youngling, but he could have use for it nevertheless. Haku lazily moved to the small being, avoiding the furious snapping of sharp fangs and snapped at the being with his own jaws, taking a grip in the neck and simply lifting the small creature up as if it had no weight at all.

It almost could seem like a canine mother and its little puppy, but that would be far from the truth. The Uncoctoa began to wail, maybe finally realizing that its days would soon be over. Haku did not care much about the noises, he rather enjoyed conscious prey, the tortured screams, and with those that had a little bit more of an intelligence; the cries for mercy and despair. In a rather merry trot, Haku began to move into the deeper parts of the swamp. He had made himself quite familiar with the place, and really did appreciate privacy when he was working. There were few beings here, the swamp was full of deadly traps. Being a magnificent hunter himself, he had no problem avoiding dangerous steps and so on, he saw the dangers on beforehand .

Perfect for Xavius at least. The masked figure made his way through the murky plant life expertly, he knew his way around his home. In truth it had been a while since Xavius had been out side. For as of late his followers had been a bit over zealous in finding him new things in which to experiment upon.
<span style='color:red'> Almost annoyingly zealous. </span> However his most recent subject had fallen ill and died much quicker then he had expected, due to lacerations. Rather then call for one of the maimed soldiers, he slipped out of his subterranean home and into the night air. It was about time he hunted for himself. The wind whipped his flowing cloak about behind him. The mask was barely visible in the night air but his eyes, his blazing red eyes, shone like crimson sparks. Inhaling he stopped to take in his surroundings, the darkness was beautiful in the swamps.
A shrill scream from far off split the air. Though due to his hearing he knew he could not trust how far his ears told him it was. Making a quick gesture that resembled a two clawed salute he in a downward ark, he tapped into the darkness to try and locate the screams origin. The scream was close by, and so it did not take him to long to locate it. The dark arts told approximately were it sounded from. This he knew he could trust. Lovingly smiling to the darks loyalty he moved in the direction the cries were being made. What would his studying be upon tonight? A small animal? A rare and unlucky wanderer? Or perhaps a challenge? As he neared the location he could see the figure of a large but slim wolf holding in its jaws a smaller animal. A half smile formed behind his mask as he watched the scene unfold.
<span style='color:red'> Beautiful. </span> He decided to stay in the shadows to observe the sight a little longer.</span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  3. Haku worshiped the night. It was the time for the real rulers of fate, the beasts hiding underneath the tranquil surface of the society as most beings knew it. Oh, what dangers were waiting in the deep? Those who dived deep enough into the pitch black usually did not make it back to the surface. The black beast moved swift and silent, as the magnificent predator he was. The breeze whispered into his ear, and Haku's eyes almost unnoticeably scanned the area without giving away the fact that he knew that someone or something was out there in the dark. His night vision was excellent, but in the deepest pitch black, the nightwalker did not have as good eyes as he would have wanted. Other senses were taking the control though, and he knew.

The black creature slowed down and let go of the crying creature. Pathetic. Flames erupted from his usually flameless tail. It was a stunningly white light, blending even him for a few seconds before he reduced the intensity of the flame, blinking a few times, annoyed at the shocked pupils disturbing his sight. Bones cracked as his paws transformed into hands, and his back legs became more thick and solid, giving him the opportunity to walk on two feet instead of the usual four. He grasped a piece of his own thick mane and ripped out a piece of fur. Swiftly he knitted together the loose hair into four stronger threads. It was not any special quality, but it would serve well for this, it would not last too long.

With routine movements, the beast tied each of the Uncoctoa's four limbs to the ground by the help of his own pelt and random wines he quickly found. It was not really necessary to tie the back legs since the creature was paralyzed, but it would be easier.. The creature snapped and spitted, but had only managed to catch a piece of fur from his tormenter. No doubt it was uncomfortable lying on its back with it's limbs stretched out. Haku clicked his fangs together a couple of times while taking a two second break to watch the wailing creature. He then circled it slowly a single time, eyes focused on the smaller creature as a whole, the build, the fur..

He then kneeled over the smaller canine and took a proper grip of the Uncoctoa's throat, forcing it to face him properly instead of all the worthless biting that would be good for nothing. This creature was going to die, end of story, so why make it harder than it had to be? the fire from the predator's tail spread up along the male's back and stopped at Haku's left shoulder. He needed proper light for this. He met the prey's eyes, and kept the eye contact for a few more seconds before gently letting go of the canine's throat. Haku could tell of the calm, aquagreen ocean and the brilliant blue skies, with hints of the golden sun. The screaming ended and the Uncoctoa laid its head down at the grounds and gazed absently into nothing.

Eyes roamed across the being, starting from top. The shape of the skull, ears, eyes, nose, muzzle. Haku opened the living being's jaws and let his hand brush over the sharp fangs, gum and the tongue without the prey doing anything to prevent it nor cause him any harm. Just like his daughter, Haku was an artist, but in a quite different way. Many beings would by the sight of the scene pronounce him as a sick some kind of rapist or similar, by the fact that he was simply touching the creature everywhere. Oh, no, it was nothing sexual in what he did. He was studying the creature, its build and body structure, and he needed to scan it fully, so he was starting on the outside, and would work his way to the core..

Though he seemed completely unaware, he was on his guard. His eyes could spot nothing because of the blending flames from his body, making it impossible to see anything in the dark, not even a set of blazing red eyes. It could be a simple animal that would disappear when his work really began, it could be a common, lost pendragon, in which he would hunt down when they would finally realize what he was going to do with the poor being, or simply something else. It did not matter, he could manage. He had met a fellow predator within these lands before, and knew there were more of them out there.

  4. <div align="center"><table><tr><td width=400>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td width=400><div align="justify">The beast was unaware of his presence, or at least it seemed that way. Xavius knew not to presume, cautiously he followed. The beast eventually slowed to a stop. So too, did Xavius who leaned upon his cane to watch the wonders unfold in front of him. Already was this whole scene a subject to curiosity. Suddenly flames burst at the end of the large wolf's tale. The light caused Xavius to momentarily shield his eyes with one hand and recede a couple of steps into the darkness to keep himself hidden. So it was a 'dragon. The creature began to transform to stand on two legs. Two hands that came from paws were now being put to use binding the creature down.
<span style='color:red'> Masterfully done, </span> Xavius thought to himself admiring the ardens transformation. Indeed an interesting subject had he found. He was unsure how well this 'dragon could see in the dark. Xavius could see wonderfully in the dark. Nearly as well as he could day, for the dark was his friend, his brother. But none the less he was certain this arden had very good senses and was careful not to make to much sound less he be heard.

The large canine figure had started to examine and study the small animal at this point. Xavius was beginning to find this creature gradually earning his respect. He waited eagerly to see what happened next.[/size</div></td></tr></table></div>

  5. His hands stroke over the other being almost like a lover's, carefully, feeling the smooth fur between his fingers. When he was content, Haku created yet another thread from his thick fur and very gently wrapped the line around the muzzle of the Uncoctoa and tied it. At last, he buried his face into the dark pelt of the animal and inhaled deeply, forever storing the scent of the animal within his brain. He had been all relaxed while inspecting the Uncoctoa, taking whatever time he needed, but now he had to pick up the speed. He gave a visible sigh and flexed his back swiftly before leaning over the prey again.

For a short second he furrowed his eyebrows, closing his eyes in brief concentration before opening his eyes again. His right hand changed a bit of shape, turning somewhat similar to a hand covered in reptile shells, nails turning to something more similar to knives, although the idea had erupted from a long dead pendragon he had stumbled upon once upon a time. At times he wondered how the pendragons could be one single species, with all its odd members. They were all so unlike, both in coloration and build. Truly fascinating.

His ears were like radars on the top of his skull now, because it might be possible whatever was out there would react. He doubted it, but he intensely hoped it was his own fantasy that was playing with him, but the sad fact was that he did not have much of an imagination. He would not like to be disturbed, but if he was quick enough, he could reach a potential fleeing being anyway. The swamp was more dangerous than ever in the dark as well, and would be playing on HakuÂ’s side.

His tail moved next to the Uncoctoa and provided as a wonderful light source. This was the most important part, also the most fatal. Or, not really, he could simply catch another Uncoctoa. They were not very common, but he knew how to track down the things he wanted. He had even spent some time simply watching this UncoctoaÂ’s pack for half a day when he had felt very lazy. This fellow would never return to his family, and with that last thought to the primitive animalÂ’s pack, Haku began to cut.

He was swift, and quick. He only took the layer of skin, cutting with the razor-sharp knives of claws, then go over the muscles, watching, touching.. The canine stirred and seemed to realize what was happening, and broke out of itsÂ… daydreaming. Haku was extremely skilled at what he did, and had practiced this over years. Cut, examine, touch, cut, examine, touch, it went in an amazing speed. Choking noises came from the tortured being, and Haku could see the familiar signs of an animal going into shock. It did not matter.

In less than one minute the animal had been searched a second time, only this time without its skin, and it was the muscles, not the appearance that had been in focus. The head and face, plus the tail was the only part of the Uncoctoa that had been spared for HakuÂ’s claws, but it was dying. Though it did not bleed too much, the shock could easily take it down any minute, and.. he preferred the meal to be fresh.

Haku took a tight grip of the canineÂ’s muzzle, and exposed the throat fully. Fangs sunk into skin and veins, and he drained the creature for its crimson, life-giving liquid. While he feasted on the blood, he used the opportunity to change back to the form he had from the start. Jaws separated and he let go of the dead animal. He was not done with the body just yet, but the thought that someone was there was very disturbing, especially when he did not know what. His tail flame disappeared and left the scene dark as ever, the night coming back with its full power.

Haku was not sure if he was to wait to pick up either sounds or sight of the trespasser, or simply go start the search himself. He chose to stay dead in his tracks, eyes gradually getting used to the blackness again, a growl blooming in his throat.

  6. <div align="center"><table><tr><td width=400>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td width=400><div align="justify"><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'> As the arden began to slice its victims Xavius' smile grew ever wider. This creature seemed to enjoy torturing its victims as much he himself did. In fact the large black figure was cutting its prey apart so thoroughly examining every bit of it, he had to wonder if he was going to consume his catch at all. Then finally he stopped slicing at the creatures flesh and after another admirable transformation back to its original form it began to eat. After finally finishing, the creature stood where it was and began to growl. What better time then this to make himself known to the creature, if it was not already aware of his presence, which due to its growl he assumed was true. After torture was not the only form of experimentation. There were other ways to achieve information. And so he moved out of the darkness, seemingly a figure gliding.
<span style='color:red'> "Do you assume everything in the darkness is a threat?" </span> </span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  7. Perhaps the ending for the Uncoctoa had been filled with pain and misery, but Haku had been very merciful tonight. When he was not in the mood, or was doing his studies, he usually did not torture his victims. Not more than he had to, to be bold. He was soon through with his current task, just some minor details left to ponder at before he was done. It was almost with a small piece of disappointment he saw a dark figure glide towards him. Blue-green eyes traveled their way upwards to a white mask with two crimson ruby eyes. His growl died faster than it had appeared, and he took a second to take in what he actually saw.

A pendragon, hidden by dark and masks. If Haku had been into stereotyping, he would have placed a sticker with Â’Evil, Dark Man PersonÂ’ in the otherÂ’s face. He was not, apparently. The masked being spoke, and Haku did not know if he should grin or frown. He let his gaze rest upon the mask of the trespasser, taking a few steps sideways, as if starting circling the male, but did halt after those few steps. How great was the chances for meeting two murderers in a row? He did not doubt the other maleÂ’s psyche. Usually, by now the sight would have been followed by a rapid, da-dun, da-dun, the sweet music of the living heart. Fear always gave them away.

Haku flickered his ears, listening to a rather slow and steady rhythm. That was proof enough for time being. " Oh no, do not get me wrong. I am the threat. Putting weight on the two first words in the last sentence. It was just a choice of how to hunt down the audience that had failed to pay for the show. Usually they screamed, or tried to hide, but revealed themselves by the thick scent of fear and their small beating hearts. They tried to run, they tried to fly, sneak away unseen.. Haku was not afraid of the dark, but if he had been standing left in the light, darkness would have hidden away the world from him.

As am I, in fact some consider me so much as to be the darkness itself." </span> Xavius said this as he started side stepping the other direction. It was only to humor the other. This one before him was true predator, graceful and keen. Strong and swift. Xavius was already enjoying this. Perhaps this arden would be his latest experimental subject on the examining table. Perhaps he would simply be an interesting conversation. However Xavius kept his powers ready.
<span style='color:red'> "Tell me, do you have a name?" </span> He said as he grinned behind his mask. </span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  9. There was a new sort of tension in the air. Haku knew he had experienced once before, long time ago. Too long ago. He tilted his head and kept eye contact. The first thing that would have come in mind when hearing a being call himself 'the darkness itself' would have been a mocking laugh, but no sound escaped the dark beast, because the masked creature was very honest in his speech. The Uncoctoa's corpse was lying one foot behind him, and he slowly let his tail go for it, and dragged it a little bit closer before letting go of it, as if losing interest.

This being was very different from Draconan, the big and brutal beast he had come over. The creature had been very simple in its ways, and its way of treating its victims was dull and too hasty, too messy. Haku did not like it messy. This one was icy cold and his way of speech and act told of a frightening intelligence. Haku was a mix between fangs and claws slash some intellect. A crack could be heard as Haku somehow, apparently by an incident had taken a step backwards and stuck one of his front paws into the dead Uncoctoa's chest. The ribs had been forced to break the wrong way, resulting in having harmed a lung, but he saw it as no problem. The body was still warm.

" No I do not. " That creature was never to come for her through Haku. Lungs, heart, kidneys, liver- Alright, that would do. He withdrew his paw from the Uncoctoa's body and shook it some, a bit of blood and gore attached it to it. Ack, such a mess. " How about you picking one for me? " Muscles tenses under the thick fur.

  10. <div align="center"><table><tr><td width=400>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td width=400><div align="justify"><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'> Xavius stopped and thought for a moment. He had never been asked to give someone a name before. This was indeed an interesting encounter.
<span style='color:red'> "Very well, perhaps simply Hunter. I shall call you Hunter." </span> Xavius stood hands clasped on his cane and stared for a moment longer. He decided to offer his own name.
<span style='color:red'> "Perhaps you have heard of me? I am called Acheron, however the scant few locals of these swamps sometimes refer to me as the demon behind the mask." </span> He smiled behind his mask. <span style='color:red'> "Though they have never really seen more of me then I allow." </span> He knew that Hunter was very weary of his presence, and wondered again if the arden would leap for his throat. Perhaps Hunter might shrug him off and this would become a conversation whilst the beast ate. Xavius studied the face of Hunter carefully, but he was good at hiding what he was thinking. </span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  11. Hunter. That was very simple. Haku was a bit surprised, as he himself had thought of something rather more mocking. He placed a smirk on his dark lips, accepting it. This was going in a rather optimistic direction. His ear flickered as the masked man revealed his own name. Of course it could be a temporary name he used, but Haku would not care for such. He saw a face(oh, well; a mask) and a body together with a voice and a soul behind, that was something that could not fool him, as he considered himself a master in disguising forms.

And as a matter of fact, Haku believed he had heard the name before, and gave the demon a solitary nod. He had not been here for a very long time, but he meant his first pendragon meal had called out for a Lord Acheron. Haku had simply shrugged and played with the poor being for a little while, as a little punishment, because the pendragon had actually tried to sneak up behind him, but in Haku's eyes the pendragon had been so clumsy and unskilled that he had not bothered waiting for it to reach him, and went on it instead.

Never really seen more of me then I allow. Well, same thing could almost have gone for Haku. In that term, Haku too carried a mask, by never letting anyone witness his real form. There was only one being not deceased long time ago that knew of his original appearance. Old habits were hard to change, so he did value and protect his privacy, and he cleaned up after his doings. Always. It had in the start been more for her sake than his, but being so close to a high developed society, it could not hurt being careful and neat.

Acheron had actually made Haku annoyingly curious. " What might this demon look like, Lord Acheron? " He stepped a bit closer, muscles still tense and ready for hostile action from the other in case he decided to strike for some reason. Acheron might have cleansed his hands, but Haku had an extraordinary nose, and he could literary smell the death. Haku did not worry about ending up on a table, having his body cut open and whatever else the torturer could offer. All things comes as all things must, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

  12. <div align="center"><table><tr><td width=400>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td width=400><div align="justify"><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'> It wasn't unusual for Xavius to be asked what he looked like. Whenever he was in he company of someone who was still able to do so that is. Still, it always agitated him.
<span style='color:red'> "Like someone who has been corrupted long before their birth. Like the darkness nightmares are made of." </span> Of course, his face wasn't that terrible to behold, though it was quite monstrous. Xavius did not seek to spook Hunter, for he suspected that the black wolf was like him. Not afraid of pain, nor death. The only thing Xavius had ever been afraid of was losing Selviena. His long lost love. Since, she was lost, what left was there to fear. No, he simply wished to leave his appearance to the wolfs own imagination.

Xavius sensed that hunter was tensed, and quite ready to attack. He quickly pulled the shadows in behind him giving him power. He felt the usual cold numbness touch his back. This he was acustommed to, for it would happen whenever he called upon them. He decided to ask the ebony beast a question that he hoped might throw him slightly off guard. Or surprise him. Or even puzzle him as to why the question was asked in the very least.
<span style='color:red'> "Tell me Hunter. What do you think the outcome of this encounter will be?" </span> </span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  13. Wear a mask, and everyone would want to know what was hidden away behind it. Haku was no different at that point. Haku pondered at the answer he was being given. corruption and darkness, nightmares. Corruption was something that could be found on the inside the rotten cores of some souls, nightmares were made out of your weaknesses. Haku did not see himself as corrupt or evil, only solitary and his own master. And arrogant, since he allowed himself to break whatever rules there may were.

Haku felt a slight chill touch his paws and underside, and for less than a second he allowed himself to break the eye contact with the pendragon and turn his gaze down. Shadows existed in the dark, they simply became less visible. His own shadow was shaking, although he himself was not. Haku's eyes returned to the masked terror, and received a question in return. It fitted very well with his own thoughts at the moment, and he flattened his ears fully.

" You may get what you want, but I do value life, even though I take as I see fit." Haku was not completely sure what would be the right answer to such an odd question. The wolf was not completely stupid, and knew he could end his life in the same way as the rest of Acheron's findings. Acheron had his own magnificent aura, which was why Haku would rather prefer make an escape move rather than a killing move, not in fear, but because he had found a special creature that should not be touched.. He also took for granted that the dark creature had a couple of aces hidden away out of sight, which his shadow had been delicate enough to notice, frail as it was.

  14. <div align="center"><table><tr><td width=400>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td width=400><div align="justify"><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'> Xavius laughed, a cold chilling laugh that rang like metal in his mask.
<span style='color:red'> " And what is it that I want? Do you think I mean you harm? Surely you must be annoyed to have your evening routine interrupted?" </span> Xavius began walk to in a circle around Hunter to the opposite point in which he had been standing. Xavius was pleased to know at least his reputation throughout the swamps had reached the dark predators ears.
<span style='color:red'> "Also tell me this, what have you heard of me? How did you come across my name before now?" </span> As Xavius said this his dark power began to seep into the air, slowly and quietly. It was not meant to harm the beast before him in any way however, it was simply to help him study this Hunter easier. To any one else though, it would feel like a small shift in the night air. Besides Xavius was confident but he was no fool. He knew that at any moment the beast could lunge, or try to make a escape, and he wanted to know more about this one before this session was concluded. </span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  15. Haku presented a silent smirk to fit along with XaviusÂ’ metallic laugh. He was not annoyed at all after having been disturbed in his work. Instead of a dull night killing time by deceasing creatures, he was now being circled by a creature as deadly as himself, yet in a more sophisticated way. Haku was on the primal side of the fence, enjoying the feeling of being a proper old school marauder, making his own rules. Haku stood dead in his tracks as Acheron finished the first radius of a circle around him. A pleasant chill tickled along the black wolfÂ’s spine.

Haku did not know for certain what the dark being wanted from him. The worst possible scenario was simple torture, experimenting followed by an unpleasant death, which actually was not that bad. He had lived a long life and treated this world as his own private playground, his time would come eventually. " A pathetic cry in the dark, from a hunter that eventually became the hunted." Haku had not taken any special notice of the name, but he was quite sure it was a lord Acheron, and he doubted this deadly creature would let a name brother survive and take any possible honor or reputation from him. " And. "

" Your intentions are still hidden from my simple mind, dark Lord, and I have finished my meal, so a little chitchat before dessert is always convenient." Something touched the cool night air. He took a deep breath, and turned to face the other again, his blue green eyes expressing nothing but calm. " So, please do tell me. " Claws clicked against the ground as Haku brought himself closer to Acheron yet again, this time more than those few steps he had started with. Haku did not like when others played with him, or intended to. Like that simple creature that had introduced him to AcheronÂ’s name. tsk.

  16. <div align="center"><table><tr><td width=400>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td width=400><div align="justify"><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'> Dark lord, how he enjoyed being called such. But though this beast may claim to have a simple mind, Xavius doubted it very much. Primal instincts perhaps, but this one had to be clever to be such a skilled hunter. Hunter referred to someone crying out his name, and Xavius only assumed it was one of his maimed. Pity, but of no concern. When the black canine stated he was done his meal and would enjoy a chit chat, Xavius chuckled.
<span style='color:red'> "My dear fellow, you already are giving me what I want. I have been studying you from the very first instant you began your meal." </span> Xavius was eager to see how Hunter would react to this statement. Suddenly, off in the distance, a scream split the still night air. A scream that was caused by the black energy Xavius had been filtering into the night. Xavius willed the darkness to scream and so it did. A ringing in his ears only lasted a couple of seconds due to the spell. This Hunters senses were his best weapons, Xavius knew that, but what if they were tampered with? Xavius waited patiently for the reaction. </span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  17. Haku gave a snorting noise as Xavius brought forth the fact that he had been there from the moment he had began his meal. To be more precise; when he believed Haku had began his meal. This had not been merely a dinner to Haku, he could not feed properly on such degraded beings as the primitive animal life. He feasted on the pendragon race and its subspecies. He decided to take the revealing news as if he had been unaware of the fact that Acheron had been spying on him. His ears flickered before remaining glued to his skull, and he widened his eyes for a split second as if being caught halfway off guard.

The scream however, made his body freeze for a moment. He kept his cold gaze at the other male, but his ears flickered towards the sound. Foul play? There were quite a few talents amongst the more civilized beings. Haku pondered what would happen if he allowed the other to play with his mind. HakuÂ’s problem was that he would not know for sure before it was too late and the game had started. He had all the time in the world, but decided here and now that if he came away tonight, he would start studying a few new studies.

" I would usually know, but I fail to identify the source of that delightful sound." His shadow was shaking and pulling itself in the opposite way of the masked creature, speaking for itself, it was afraid of something, something happening. " Are you truly the lord of the dark, Lord Acheron? Many may think of it as a simple name of a cruel and evil being, but I speak of an actual master of his arena."

  18. <div align="center"><table><tr><td width=400>[IMG]</td></tr><tr><td width=400><div align="justify"><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'> <span style='color:red'> "Interesting." </span> He said as he watched the wolf react to the cry. Xavius did indeed fancy himself the master of his own arena. Certainly there were beings more powerful then him, but no one appreciated the dark like he did. Indeed he considered himself to rightfully be the lord of darkness. Or in the very least a lord darkness.
<span style='color:red'> "Indeed, I would consider myself lord to the darkness. For who would appreciate such a thing as much as I? Who would understand it like I? My dark powers are ever growing and I am a terror to be reckoned with." </span> It was then that he noticed the large ardens shadow. It trembled, and pulled away from him.
<span style='color:red'> "Now that is interesting. It would seem your shadow agrees with me." </span></span></div></td></tr></table></div>

  19. Haku was not a lord of anything. He was a loner by nature, wishing nothing but to be left alone most of the time, even though there were quite some interesting encounters with other beings that he did appreciate one way or another. Maybe he could watch her bloom after such a long time living in his consuming shadow. He did regret the way he had treated his daughter, causing her to drift away from him and then disappear from his life. Haku wrote sins, not tragedies.

He listened to the masked creature, and hid away a smirk that wanted to bloom on his face. He adored the other male's passion about the subject. It was a wonderful thing to burn for what you truly believed in, and chasing your dreams.

His shadow was the only thing that had been together with him from the start. Haku had changed, his shadow had stayed as it was, simply a shadowy image of him, which Haku had forgotten about as the years had passed. It was lately he had begin to take notice of it again, for some unknown reasoning when he was abandoned and left alone in the cold north.

" It picks up what I don't, apparently. " Which meant that Haku was possibly missing out on something, but he took it with ease, just stayed with his senses alert, a little distracted by the scream that had risen from the dark. Haku was growing more and more uneasy by every passing minute. Instead of going on with the tense chit chatting, he decided to not follow up the talk, but stood at his ground, keeping his cold stare at Acheron.

This time a heavy stench filled the air. It seemed to come from no direction in particular. He pretended not to notice it as it was his doing. He was beginning to have more and more fun.
<span style='color:red'> "Tell me Hunter, what do you think of the dark? What is it to you, what does it mean to you?" </span> To Xavius the dark was a way of life and a companion. It was his answer to his ultimate question. It was his meaning, it was his beginning and his end. It was almost as important as he was. </span></div></td></tr></table></div>
