Without waiting for a responce Hythine began retelling the story, "Back when I was 20, I had worked up the courage to try out flying lessons," Subconioussly he flapped his wings slightly, "Everything was great, I could hover in the air, I could glide across gaps, but for the final exam, we had to fly through a series of hoops." He frowned before continuing, "I had almost completed the course when I caught a downdrift, pushing me too far towards the ground. In a paniced attempt to save myself I flapped hard, trying to get enough altitude to clear some rocks." He closed his eyes, "I didn't get enough altitude. My right shoulder colided with one of the boulders, I started spinning, and hit another boulder straight in the chest. Finally I had lost consioussness and fell. My leg fell through a sharp rock on the way down." Hythine took a breathe, "I awoke in a hospital and was told my right arm and right leg had had to amputated. They were so damaged no healing was possible. So my friend Amdemaaj and I began working on mechanical replacements for my limbs. We also made a few replacement ribs and a chest cover to protect my heart." He attempted a smile, "And that is my sad sob story. I was a little sad about losing my limbs back then, but I've come to see the positive side to having them now." With that Hythine lay deeper in the water and stayed silent</span>
She sat there, listening intently to his story with her feet in the water at first and then at the end she looked down at the water. "Im sorry....." that was a sad story..and she could just tell he was being truthful...untruthfull men would have made up some war story or something to impress the girl. She looked back at him and then at her clothes. "I think I will come in completely now..." slowly she took off her clothes, acting a little shy to. But eventually it all came off with much blushing.
