A satchel full of something heavy looking was hanging from his shoulder and seemed to bear no burden to the handsome male. Blinking his rainbow eyes rapidly he scanned the tables and chairs for a likely spot to look at the latest work of his students. His bag carried the hard work of his main class, a mere 5000 story that had ben assigned last week. Of course to his students it was never 'a mere 5000' Still they'd handed it all in on time - for once, and from what he'd scanned so far he wouldn't be bored to tears this time round. He gave the pale blue librarian a smile as he walked past the reception desk and heading for a hidden corner he shifted the bag from the black longsleeved shirt he was wearing. He was dressed extremely black today and could easily be mistaken for a student when in his playful moods. The corner was ever so slightly darkened in comparason to the rest of the room, but there wee little touch lamps so he could adjust lighting if necesary, He hoped he wouldn't be stuck here come nightfall. The soft, calming music played in the background so his bag clunking on the table didn't carry. He still winced though. Pulling the plush chair and plonnking himself down, he fished in his pocket for his favourite red pen, feeling the cool metal, and adjusting the charm around his neck he carefully pulled out the first of thirty stories he'd be assessing. The rest hid in the depths of his bag for the time being.
Character: Rurik Brunire Finally he'd managed to find his way to the library on campus, needing some time to get a little inspiration for his work-in-progress story that, well, wasn't going too well. He pushed open the door and walked in, taking a glance around before heading for the book shelves. At his side was a black messenger bag that held his half novel of crap, some pens, pencils, erasers, a couple sketch pads and a couple of his own books to read if he got bored here. The black arden went up and down some isles of books, fingering out a novel or two before placing it back where it was neatly on the shelf. It took some minutes of doing this before he pulled out a couple of books and took them back out to find a table to settle down at and read. He glanced over at a table in a slightly shadowed corner and saw another arden sitting at the table. He looked around at all the other empty tables and desks and found the occupied one the most inviting, so he casually sauntered over and stood before the table. "Do you mind if I sit here?" the young male asked politely, giving the stranger a gentlemanly smile. He hoped he wasn't bother the other at all, seeing as he'd picked the farthest corner to sit in alone. Some company didn't seem too bad right about now. Compared to the other arden, he was dressed rather brightly. He figured this guy was a student by the looks of it. He lightly flicked his silver streaked bangs from his face so he could better look at the male sitting at the table, still politely smiling, Maybe this fellow could help him out some with his story, if he had enough guts to show him his pitiful work. He never did have much self esteem in that area despite his ability to write. He shuffled his wings very slightly and they glistened with their oil-colored shine under the dim light in the corner. "I do hope I'm not bothering you," he added with a light chuckle. He immediately noticed how rude he was by not introducing himself already, shifting his stance slightly. "Pardon me, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Rurik Brunire," he said with a slight nod of his head and an apologetic smile.
Male or female he was a sucker for a pretty face. And the lone arden that was closing in on his table was ticking all the boxes. He'd only marked the first one by the time Rurik made to speak, and looking up with his rainbow eyes dancing, he offered the younger arden with a kind, inviting smile. "You'll not be bothering me at all, so please sit" His deep baritone voice answered smoothly to the dark male, and Caiden was pleased at his sliver tongue for a change. The silver strands accentuated the young guys' face he noticed, and pulling out another paper from his bag and neatly lining it up with the previous, he looked over his glasses and up into the arms that held an interesting novel. "I'm Caiden V'inesk, just new to this place. Interesting book choices you have there. Have you read them before? Absently he pushed up his glasses with a slender digit, his eyes searcfhing the ardens eyes for any reaction and also to take in the males features. He was indeed drawn to the male, but looks alone were nothing. Caiden always liked to know the personality of another. Scratching the underside of his maw for a millisecond he returned to his polite waiting, Rurik was a nice name, though he wasn't familiar with many of the names here yet. He remembered the names of the prettier and handsome ones. It made him feel a little shallow at times, but he wasn't one to pick or bully those less gifted in facial arrangement. "I think i've read every novel by that author, such an interesting way of writing compared to the norm, really creative and imaginative.
Rurik immediately took notice of those rainbow eyes; he'd never seen that before. And my, they looked so kind, and if he could assume those eyes showed the stranger's personality in one look. Already he was happy he made the choice to come over, and happy that this fellow was so friendly. He smiled more, if it was possible and bowed his head a little before he took his messenger bag from his shoulder and set it lightly on the floor beside the chair he was going to sit down in, still holding onto the two novels in his free arm. His ears twitched whenever the arden spoke, since he was so unused to such a deep, pleasant sounding voice. His own was deep, but not quite so much as the other's, and he held a slight accent in his voice. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Caiden. And yes, many times. They never really get old." He sat himself down across from the other, placing the two books on the table in front of him. The arden's golden eyes glistened in the poor light they had in the corner and seemed a bit darker than they normally were in good light. He couldn't say he was surprised that Caiden knew this author's books; he actually seemed to be the type to read a lot, considering the very flattering glasses the other sported so well. "Oh? I don't know of many fans the author has, so it's good to hear someone besides me likes his work." He chuckled a little again, his large ears turning backwards a bit. "You said you were new here?" he inquired curiously. It made sense, he definitely would've noticed Caiden around if he wasn't new. He had a very distinct look from anyone he'd ever seen before. "Where are you from? If you don't mind me asking." It's not like he knew many places, or the names at least. But his curiosity got to him even if he couldn't answer back if Caiden so kindly responded to his question.
