Timestamp: Tessera 81379 Character: Damien Umdal Clothing: All that can be seen is his blackened, weather-worn cloak Further info: if you so wish to join the merry crew, pm me for details on whats' it all about. The Dingy Tavern: The wind howled around the backstreets of the city of bhim. A figure could be seen struggling against the weather as he roughly pushed open a door into The Dingy Tavern. The oak slammed back into place with crumbling walls, and the drunken chatter stopped. All eyes staring at the nose of a stranger - for his face was covered by the cloak- His amber eyes shone out as he opened them to the relatively warm surroundings, The mysterious figure ordered a drink and proceeded in strides to the darkened corner that was empty in the run down place. Damien Umdal, as he was named sat sipping the honey coloured liquid as an eerie glow emmitted from the blackened leather. When would his palns come together...?
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>ooh 'bout time... Who:Telea Stormbrand She's a quadruped, so I don't think she needs clothes</td></tr></table> She heard vamp hunters were gathering here and had come, to see if she was...welcome. She was used to wind and cold, for her mother made her come up to moutians many a time. And easely pushed the door open. No one noticed her enter or jump onto a chair near Damien's table, she wore a belt, latched with various machinia, vamp slaying items that were hand crafted by her mother. Sitting back she just relaxed, little did she know, her colors drew her much atention, and varous people stared at her. She glanced in Damien's direction and looked at him for awhile, he was shady, too shady.
Character: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=742Jedsh Tajbums</a> Clothes: Wearing a long, very dark green over coat with his armour underneath. *Pic in profile* He also has his helmet folded and down out of sight. Jed had been waiting at the bar for the meeting, so far he had downed a few glasses of cheap wine that stung that senses. He wasnÂ’t complain though, it was cheap after all. His head did turn however when the showman walked into the tavern, his eyes were trying to size the man up and detect his purpose. He was either a someone trying to look tough in attempt to get people to leave him along or he was trying to conceal his identify. Either way Jed didnÂ’t think too much black suited him, but putting that aside Jed was fairly sure that was man to be seeing. As Jed approached the table with the cloaked man he noticed a usually looking wolf creature sitting on a chair with an alarming amount of weaponry on her. She was either another meeting person or someone looking for trouble, Jed was fairly sure by now that night would be an interesting one for sure. He took a seat in front of the arden and nodded in his direction, his own way of saying hello. As he sat he made sure his flick holster was secure, within half a second he could have his enchanted pistol aimed and fired at the head of a daemon and watch it vaporise it away. He would be lying if he said he wasnÂ’t expecting a fight, but Jed just sat their and waited for the next move, almost hoping that more members would bother to show their face.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>And guess who decided to show up?! :D Character: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=31Vlad Ralnyms</a></td></tr></table> The Hunters of the North. Another vampire-hunting group. Normally Vlad would disapprove of such things. Due to a bad experience with finding out about the Templars and their extreme hatred of vampdragons, he felt that it would be best for him to go solo. But something drove him here tonight. Curiosity. Often dangerous for one such as him, but he had heard that they allowed some of his kind... Maybe they would be more accepting. Even if it was just for knowledge. The white-furred vampire was already in the tavern, seated at another corner table. His mere presence could turn heads, and when the two strangers arrived, he could hear a lot of angry (or admiring) mutterings from the crowd. Not that it mattered. Today he wore a simple black outfit, with a matching cloak. He made no attempt to hide his face, mind you. There was no use. There was no need for the people to worry. He'd already fed. Bhim was, after all, his favourite hunting ground. He did gain a sick pleasure from killing the thing he was... but now was not the time for bloodthirst.
<span style='color:orange'>It looks like this is the group for tonight then...</span> Damien said throatily. Keeping his hood pulled up for now. His age could very well lower his authority with them, He scanned the two at his table The bright quad who most definately had the tools for the job and a Tan anubi, whos' bite looked a hell of a lot worse than his bark. <span style='color:orange'>I figure you know why you are here...</span> His eyes shone out from his cloak and stared at the white Vampire in the opposite corner. This creature wished to join...? or to spy?
She looked over, "<span style='color:blue'>I suppose I know why I'm here, I just caught wind of a vampire hunting group</span>" she said. She spotted the male in the corner "<span style='color:blue'>Definetly a vamp, hmmmm</span>" She wasn't used to being in such a crowded place, but tried to look calm.
Jed's eyes flashed as he heard the voice of the this group leader. He could hear quite a few interesting things in his voice, although it was deep and powerful he could detect the sound of youth flowing in it. He scanned deeper in the hidden youth for any real power, his eyes scanning deeper into his aura. Yet he did see something, something quite sinister. He didnÂ’t like it very much but he could respect its power, their was no denying that the guy had something. "Well I know why IÂ’m here, but why has that vampire come." he said in his naturally sinister tone that oozed his sophisticated accent yet its darker underline. His eyes looked over to the obviously dopey vampire who seemed to be half in a blood lust and half showing off. He had no idea why such a creature would want to join ground that killed its kind. Jed didnÂ’t like those who blatantly tried to do the "IÂ’m the best, toughest arden in the world and no one can hurt me" act. It completely drove him insane. Jed was one of these people that came across slightly eccentric and "Special" yet could quite happy unleash a torrent of destruction and pain on any who took him for a fool. He would say he knew a few tricks.
<span style='color:orange'>Yes... you are indeed correct...</span> Damien nodded at Telea, Looking over at the white vampire. What did he want?! Joining them was out of the question... but to have a member who knew how they thought... who could second guess their movements... Jed eyes were scanning him, boring into his aura, Quickly he placed a mental block, just in case he could read his mind. <span style='color:orange'>And the Vampire... </span> His voice dripped with venom as he uttered its' breed. His eyes staring at him with hatred. He directed his question to Vlad through telepathy as so not to start a fight in the tavern, of course piping a link to the other two so they could tap in.. <span style='color:green'>{Why do you come to those who would kill you without thought?}</span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I kind of missed this. Hope you won't mind If I jump in. Character: Ghyamez Clothing: None</td></tr></table> A rather large arden was steadily trudging along the back streets of Bhim, which he knew so well. He wasn't in a hurry, but the hindering effect of the weather still added a little more fire to the string of swearing that poured from Ghyamez's mouth. Keeping his wings wrapped tight around him, he made his way to the tavern. He opened the large wooden door carefully, but the wind grabbed a hold of it and it slammed hard against the wall, anouncing his arrival with a loud bang. Yet again, he swore loudly. He slammed the door shut, making an even bigger noise. He could feel the patrons' accusing stares a his back, and he took a moment to rest his head against the door and get a bit of a grip. Smooth He congratulated himself.
Shocked she noticed she was the only female here. She paused her train of thought to look around again. "<span style='color:blue'>Why am I the only girl here?</span>" She shook her head, and began to wonder if they were going to do anything. "<span style='color:blue'>Are we going to do anything? I've herd that there's a cult of vampires near this area.</span>She said looking out the nearest window.
<span style='color:orangered'>yes... i was waiting for questions, but first i wish to know your reasons for being here... this is not a glory hunt.</span> Damien scanned with his eyes the small group, It had not been a big as he hoped.. but the people here were strong and of a quick mind. After their reasons they would gather outside, he would hand them the artifacts in of which they could soundlessly connect to any of the members and then he would take any info, do a qiuck sweep and arange some rules after the "tryouts"
Jed looked over to the new person who had just walked in but paid him no heed since he seemed to be bumbling around quite a bit. His attention was caught but they need group leader and the female chatting about things. He sort of began to think seriously about why he was here, in truth he was just plain bored and didnÂ’t really like vampire but he wasnÂ’t going to say that. "Well I'm here because I have a score to settle and I generally hate vampires." He said very firmly sending a sharp glance over to the vampire in the corner. He had no real idea why it was here but he didnÂ’t really care, he didnÂ’t really care about anything but he though throwing attitude around would back up his hate the world story.
Gritting his teeth, Ghyamez turned around, glaring back at those who glared at him. Having turned away enough gazes, he looked over at the hunters' table. He had heard the last few things that had been said, so he was fairly certain that they where it. He made his way to them, trying to not make a lot of noise. That would be rude, wouldn't it? As he made his way, he pulled out a chair and sat down, eyeing the rest. He smiled, and spoke softly and without shame, despite his somewhat rude behaviour. "Sorry I'm late." And that was it.
Telea chucked and said "<span style='color:blue'>Ditto to that guy</span>" she pointed a paw at Jed. She looked at Ghyamez "<span style='color:blue'>Hi there.</span>" was all she had to say after that. She sighed and looked at Damien "<span style='color:blue'>I don't care if this isn't a glory hunt, I just want to kill some vampies</span>" She idly licked a paw out of bordom, looked up, and began licking her paw again.
<span style='color:orangered'>By all means then we shall indded do a hunt tonight, this will ensure your abilities. I will not stand for people of a liability. Finish your drinks and gather outside, we'll split into groups. I need to talk with the vampire first, i'll be at another table.</span> Damien was still cold towards the group on a whole, Until he asserted leadership, he would not show his face. He motioned for the Vampire to follow him to the table a small way away from the gathering. A little more kindly than before. A few strides later and he was itting at the empty table waiting for the vampire. He needed to see what its' intentions were.
Jed nodded in recognition of the guy, after he was going to be the leader and Jed wasnÂ’t here to undermine him. He heaved himself back, sliding the chair along as he stoop up to with a little stretch. He held back a yawn as he nodded the quadruped to follow, they obviously werenÂ’t wanted when vampire was going to get quizzed. He walked outside and let the cold, wet splash of rain smack him straight in the face. It jolted his mind awake as he suited to protect his eyes from the heavy rain fall. he leaned his back up against the wall and got comfy, drawing his coat around him to keep the wind off his body. "Ahh this is the life" He muttered sarcastically. He was bored.
Sorry I missed this as well. Name: Tvimloni Trackiner Clothing: Black cloak She strode swiftly towards the tavern, she had no hopes of joining the vamp hunting group she had heard rumors about. She hoped to stop them for all she was worth. She knew that as per the myths not all vamps were evily. She for one was very good, and so was a vamp she had met not long ago named shadow. She saw a few people exit the tavern and she leaned against the wall off a building opposite it, watching them carefully from under her hood.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I'm bringing my vamp charrie in fer some added jucie*</td></tr></table> Shadow had been walking by the tavern when he saw a group kitted out for a fight with his kind and upon sensing a familiar nearby. He followed the scent until he saw an old aquaintance... Tvim... Briskly walking by her, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her along with him before running to a cubby hole hidden by magick. <span style='color:blue'>Tvim! what are you doing here?!</span> he asked urgently a rising of panic in his voice - he had once met the leader of this gang a long time back.
OOC: Sorry for not using 2-post rule, but I wont be on all weekend. She looked over at him frowning. <span style='color:blue'>"I'm here because i heard the rumors, and if we can put a stop to this gang, it will all be for the better."</span> She exited the cubby hole and looked back at him <span style='color:blue'>"Besides, if YOU want to let these people wipe us out, YOU can just sit back and watch. But I myself wont let them, a few of our friends may be counting on us, and you know who I'm talking about."</span> she tried to get him to remember, but she still ran to take action on the group, preferably before their leader showed up.
Ghyamez mumbled something, then got up again, after just about ten seconds of sitting down. He made his way through the crowd, grabbing the door as fell back in. He pushed it open, being greeted by the wet chill of rain. "Home sweet home." He murmured as he closed the door behind him. He swiftly whisked his tail between his legs, holding the tailflame close to his face. Focusing, he could soon feel a comforting warmth, even though most of his body was still cool.
