OOC: Timestamp Tessera 81380 (midnight) Char: Skye Skye needs to feed, so let me know if when you join you want ur 'dragon to become a vampdragon! IC: Skye was hungry. She hadn't fed on a 'dragon in several weeks and it was beginning to effect her attitude, mental state. I've been wandering through this damn jungle for hours! I need food. Now. After this thoughts crossed the trouble thill's mind she began to run. She raced through the jungle at a high speed dodgin trees and every few moments howling to the moon like somesort of weredragon. Finally she stopped panting. Her rational self finally showed itself. Alright, we need food. We've been feeding on little rodents for ages and now we need REAL blood. You've probably scared everything worthwhile away with all that howling, so we must go quietly from now on, step lightly and listen with those vampdragon ears of yours for god sake! Skye waited a moment until her rough breathing had subsided before she rose on her feet again and began to stalk through the jungle, being extremely quiet listening to even the smallest sound of the heartbeat of a small insect buzzing near her. She stopped. Something was there, just beyond the clearing. It was too large to be the simple food she had been feeding on lately, perhaps it was a 'dragon! A nice, fat one, full of healthy blood. Her tongue was hanging out and her eyes sparkled with sheer excitement. She lunged, heading straight for the poor soul who happened to be out in the peaceful forest at night, asuminbly unaware of the hungry predator nearby...
OCC: who: Sarunus, As sarunus walked he mumbeled to himself saying "where is that ammo stash" the he here a few leves move right before He saw a Shadow leep at him "WHAT THE".
OOC: Question...u dont wanted ur char to become a vampire rite? cuz i can make it happen... IC: The tmeptation was soo strong it was almost impossible for Skye to stop herself from biting the 'dragon right away. She pulled back, mid-lunge landing roughly on the ground, she stood up, using her wings for balance. Once standing she angrily stopped a growl from errupting from her thoat. Why in the hell does my 'good' side show up every time I'm hungry? Skye thought, furious with herself. Then out loud she said <font color="blue"> You know its dangerous to wander around the forest like that at night. You might become someone's prey...</font> Skye desperately wanted to jump at the 'dragon, but kept back. She felt her muzzle water hungrily. He could have been MY prey... she thought grumpily.
[OOC]na i think ill keep my Character a pendragon IC: "Arg i was looking for a ammo stash i hid somwhere in this place but i cant seem to find it oh i why have you not bittin me yet....... your are a vamp right or is it that you where bittin your self and your starting to pity me" looking Confuzed at the deadly yet atractive thill that attacked him.
Skye looked at him dumbly. This was a straaange 'dragon. She looked at him, really looked at him. He was dressed in all black, and seemed to have several different types of weapons on his bodice. Skye couldn't help but be taken aback by his directness. <font color="blue"> Well, NOT that its any of your business, but YES I AM a vamp, a very hungry one at that. Just be happy that I'm not a FULLBLOODED vamp, or then I wouldn't have this damn 'good side' and you'd be my fucking prey by now. </font> Skye rarely cursed so much in one sentence but she was on the verge of loosing control, her mind even and her brain seemed to have disconnected itself from her vocal cords. At that point Skye heard a rustle, a rodent! YES!! Skye at least could eat something. She crouched and pounced into the bushes landing directly on the rodent, easily killing it first with her claws and then biting down and sucking noisily. When done (she consumed the animal rather rapidly) Skye came back into the clearing, her hunger somewhat satisfied. She felt sorry for what she had said to the 'dragon and said somewhat apologetically, <font color="blue"> And who are you? I'm Marq. </font> Skye didn't feel like stating her true name, it was too risky, besides she didn't want everyone in Ramath to know that Skye Marquette was a vampdragon.
"Marq you say well im Sarunus i see that you came out here to hunt for food dont worry i wont use eney of my deadly weapons if u attack me i will just use my sleeper dart gun it will keep somone asleep for adout 1 hour but dont take that as a threat or eney thing well im VERY VERY sorry for geting in your way i was just looking for a hiddin ammo stash around here it has a wooden door on it and WAIT JUST A SEC." as he looked at the vamp thinking. "huuummmmmm maybe we can help each other out" looking at her with a smirk on his face and a idea that will help them both out.
Skye rolled her eyes. Like I need to know about his special 'weapons' Skye looked around again hopping that her keen ears would pick up another rodent, but they didn't. Disapointed she looked back Sarunus, he was speaking again. What? Something that would help us both? Hmm... Skye was somewhat interested, she doubted that whatever he had in mind would actually help her out...but still she asked <font color="blue"> What could possibly be helpful to the BOTH of us? </font>
"wellllllllll i do have a dart gun and your hungry so maybe i can hit a 'dragon so you can feed on it BUT in return you help me find my weapon stash" looking with a smile on his face "oh and another twist to it i only have ONE dart left in this thing so if you want more than one you will have to help me first but if all you want is one i think ill trust you and hold up my end of the deal up first deal".
Skye again rolled her eyes at his proposal. She could easily kill her own 'dragon but why not help the guy? Because you're hungry and need to find food... In that case I'll stay with him and help him out. See what he's up to. Skye didn't like the idea of listening to the vamp inside her and had a tendency to rebel against it. This was one of those times. <font color="blue"> Ok, fine. So is this secret door thing supposed to be in this clearing? Or as we supposed to explore the entire forest? </font> Skye couldn't help being sarcastic.
As sarunus looking at her with a bit of surprise "ok good now lets see it is gana look like a wooden plank under some leaves with thous vamp ears of yours you may here a machine or so working but you have to lisen REAL closely" looking at here with a nutral look "oh and i for got if you see it say THE MERC IS BACK that is the password and it should open and once we find it ill hold my end of the deal and ill get you a good 'dragon and incase you are wondering why im asking you to do this is because i have not be to it yet i just got this hideout from and old friend that passed away and in his will he wanted me to have it and all the weapons and ammo in it and all the stuff i told you about the hideout is a bunch of cluse he gave me so im not trying to flirt with you i am just trying to find a gift from a VERY close friend".
Was this guy insane? Did he really think she thought he was flirting with her? Skye thought, somewhat dumbfounded. Even if he had been she would have noticed, unless he was particularly bad at flirting, then maybe she wouldn't know. Skye decided on not stating her thoughts out loud, mainly because she wanted to get this over with and let him catch her food, but also partly because he seemed very serious about his lost friend being very important to him and Skye respected death and all that it claimed and of course, those it left behind. Skye took Sarunus' advice and listened carefully, doubting that she wouldn't have to listen hard, but she didn't hear it at first. Ok. So maybe the 'dragon knows more about vamps than I thought... And with that thought Skye listened harder and did hear the sounding of machines, metal rubbing against eachother. She followed the sound carefully not wanting to lose it. She ended up at the edge of the clearing and she looked down, pawing carefully through the leaves. There it was an old door leading somewhere deep below. <font color="blue"> This storeroom must be pretty low down...because I could barely hear the sounds. I'll let you say the password. </font>
Sarunus looking at the door with his face lite up "ok here it goes THE MERC IS BACK" as the door flew open reviling a latter "well ladies first" he said with a smile on his face "dont worry i dont think my old friend left eney of his creations here i think there in another facility but if you here eney strang moans of growls tell me because if its one of his damn monsters i dont think your fangs and claws will do the trick here take this" he said handing Skye a hand gun and about two clips for it "have you ever used one" he asked.
Skye looked down the past the door curiously. Then Sarunus began to talk again. <font color="blue"> Oh, how nice of you, let the lady go down to where you think are no creatures that could kill me. </font> Said Skye sarcastically. When Sarunus handed her the hand gun she took it not bothering with the clips, she'd prefer holding the weapon rather than worrying about getting ahold of it in the time of need. <font color="blue"> Of course of used these before! What kind of moron do you think I am? </font> Skye said this though she rarely had use for such weapons, and only knew the basics, though she did had good aim. Slowly began down, through the doorway. As she went she called up after her, <font color="blue"> By the way, my name is Skye, not Marq. </font>
"oh ok Skye i dont think your a moron i just did not think you where the gun type" he said as they whent down the long latter "now dont worry the odds of eney of his little uh 'Demons' being there are a mere 5 percent and even if there are eney i dont think the building is big enogh to have eney of his stronger creaters" he said as they got to the bodem of the latter and jumped down "do you here eney thing other than the machiens runing such as a moan, growl, srick or other sounds that may sound like a hellish creature".
Skye couldn't help smirking. This guy was very specific, and liked to talk. A lot. Skye listened carefully though all she heard were the machines, obviously much louder than when they had been on the surface, but still that was all she could hear. <font color="blue"> No. There isn't anything else down here. Unless, of course, one of these 'Demons' as you call them can somehow hide his heartbeat sounds with the machine sounds. But I doubt that even these loud machines would cover up one of these 'hellish creature' sounds. </font> Skye knew that she was babbling but didn't really care she merely waited for Sarunus to lead her through this odd chamber.
Sarunus looking releved but worried "DAMN this place is alot bigger then i thougt oh and im not making eney of this shit up this my friend he was a evil person but strangly we got along Very well he was a genitic scientist and he was also knew a lot about demon and darkness lore and as a result he mixed darkness with science and made a bunch of damn monsters of cours well where good friends so he would never let those demons attack me but when he died they just when beserk but thankfuly he locked them in places like this so they would not kill a bunch of people but even though you dont here eney thing still this place is much larger then i thout at first so you my need somthing a little haver that that little hand gun" then he picked up a prototype plasma gun and handed it to Skye "alright this is a very good gun the battery in this thing never goes out so there is no need for ammo but at the same time this gun can pack a punch so dont go trigger happy and start shoting all over the place because you my end up blowing a pice of michiery up, oh and yes some of them can lower there heart rate but thats right before they attack that make a hissing sounds or maybe even growl but dont worry the big ones are usaly hafe machine so they will make plenty of noise shuch as medel clinking to medal sounds" he said after he handed her the plasma gun "oh and i under stand im talking a little to much but as a added bounus if you help me scout this place out you will be aloud to use the building and all of its stuff even the cloning bays"
Skye was barely listening to all that Sarunus was saying. Yes, she heard the first part but it was because of what she heard she began to listen more carefully, straining her hearing to its greatest lengths. Then she heard something about cloning bays. <font color="blue">Cloning bays? You have those here? Intresting...</font> Skye took the larger gun and pu the hand gun onto its clips, where she could get to it if she needed it. There was something there. Skye was sure of it. It was barely making any sounds so it probably was half machine liek Sarunus said most of these creatures were. Skye looked over at Sarunus and wispered, though the creature probably wouldn't hear over the machinery, <font color="blue"> Look, on of those creature-thingies is here. Be quiet, I'm assuming that they have good hearing, even over the machinery. The noises that it's making are coming from behind that machine. </font> Skye pointed carefully towards a huge machine that could have easily hid several fully-grown 'dragons, no sweat. <font color="blue"> I'm not sure but it might be moving closer...So you're the expert here, what's the plan? </font>
"hhuuuummm it is proboly a hunter so be carful they are tuff but if you hit the metel part of its head its a one hit kill so just dont let it get to close" he said rasing his gun "OH CRAP I SEE IT OPEN FIRE OPEN FIRE" he screamed as they killed it.
And so appeared the creature. Skye was perhaps clumsy at times, but she was not stupid. She wasn't an expert on guns so she didn't begin open fire when Sarunus said. She thought a moment, made sure she was pulling the right triggor (there seemed to be so many on the large gun) and took aim. Her shot hit home, hitting the metal part of its head like Sarunus had said. Skye was slightly surprised that the creature was down so quickly. She was even disappointed, having been looking for some action. <font color="blue"> Well, that was surprisingly easy...lucky shot I guess. Do you think that there will be any others like him? Should we look for them? You know, clear the area? </font> Skye couldn't help keep the excitement from her voice. She had never been a huge fan of guns, perhaps daggers but otherwise she used her own strength in battle, but now after shooting the creature she felt much more attracted to the simple easy power of a gun.
"well maybe if we ativat the drones from the dron control platform they will kill them all unless your having fun and you wana kill them the old fashon way oh ya and ill let you tinker around with a few things around here and ill get you that blood i promest you with the cloning bays" Sarunus said as he loaded his gun.
