Time: Late morning</td></tr></table> Adun Had been up for about 3 hours now, cleaning up the dorm and waiting for ebony to arise. She had been sleeping much better since she gave birth to the egg, which was now sitting comfortably in a little cradle of its own. It was black and blue, with the colors intermixing randomly, creating stripes and little circles all around it. <span style='color:red'>Blue for me, black for Ebony.</span> He said, gently petting the egg and walking back over to his sleeping seductress.

She was in the deepest sleep she'd been in for a long time since of course laying the egg. That'd been tough and took a lot out of her. She didn't get up for two days afterwards. Even now, she was often in bed resting or sleeping after her classes. It was probably to do with the morning sickness having a huge effect on her body. Now, she had begun eating more normally, no longer having the sickness of course. However her breasts were increasingly larger and she found them a bit on the painful side but she knew she'd cope. Ebony stirred in her sleep, on the brink of waking, and a smile was on her lips as she sighed happily.
Adun heard ebony move under the covers and decided it was time for her to get up. He slowly pulled the covers off her and pulled her into an embrace. <span style='color:red'>Time to wake up sleepyhead, our egg wants its mommy</span> He whispered into her ear, then giving it a small peck before kissing her on the lips again. This had become somewhat of a tradition with the two. For the past three weeks he would wake her up by kissing her, and she seemed to enjoy it.
Ebony murmured in her sleep as he pulled her into an embrace. In her sleep, she felt his warm lips kiss hers softly and she smiled and slowly but surely she awoke, kissing him back. Mmm... I love it when you do that She whispered sleepily, rubbing her head against his chest. How's our little one?
<span style='color:red'>I repeat, our egg wants it's beautiful mommy</span> He said, smiling at her and giving her another peck. <span style='color:red'>And so do I, but not quite in the same way</span> He whispered, picking her up and carrying her over to the black and blue object.
Ebony smiled warmly right back at him. She loved him so much. She let him carry her adn set her feet carfuly down on the floor besides the crib. Ebony looked down at the creation she'd birthed and softly ran a warm hand over the shell. She felt the pup within flutter, it knew she was there. Ebony could feel soft scraping of claws within the shell and something told her that it was time. Adun? I think someone's wanting out of the egg....
<span style='color:red'>Excellent, hatching right on time. But we cannot help it</span> He said, gently embracing her and moving her hand off the egg. <span style='color:red'>I know it sounds harsh, but everyone must learn to stand on their own feet, and the sooner the better. I will not be soft on this child eb, I will not have him end up like I did. But make no mistake, I will care for him.</span> He said, watching the egg start to move around. He ment what he said. This shild would grow up to be a great one, he could sense it.
Ebony couldn't tear her eyes away from the egg. She nodded though silently. No, you're right. Our little pup.... Our pup... She said softly. Come on love, you can do it. We're here She telepathically said to the pup, getting a certain feeling that the pup inside was certainly a fighter as the egg rocked back and forth now. Murmered noises could be heard very faintly from within the egg. There was a sudden thud and a small hairline crack appeared in the egg. Ebony gasped, biting her lip as the egg was suddenly quiet and still. Somehow she knew that the pup was just resting a moment, and annoyed with the egg. It wanted out!
<span style='color:red'>Come on kid, I know you can</span> He said, placing his hands on ebony's stomach and holding her. He was going to be part of a family again, he was going to be cared about again. <span style='color:red'>Ya know Eb, the only time I've felt happier is when I first met you</span>
Ebony smiled as Adun held her, eyes still warmly fixed on the egg. She tore her eyes away for a spilt second and licked his cheek lovingly. She could see how much the excitement was for him too, she could see it in his eyes. I'm glad Dun, I feel the same. I've never been as happy as I am now I have you As she turned her eyes back, the egg began to violently JUMP around the crib. The pup was getting rather angry with the egg that was for sure. It smacked against one of the sides and a huge portion of the shell shattered to reveal a foot. It was marbled with blues and blacks in swirls. Look! Ebony said excitedly upon seeing the foot and leg. The pup could be heard squeeking for its parents and made Ebony smile warmly. You're nearly there baby, come on, you can do it. She said to it encouragingly as the egg began hopping around again, the marble foot trying to scratch at the egg to release more baby 'dragon...
<span style='color:red'>Okay, come on, you've been at this for 5 minutes, I'm getting imaptient</span> He mumbled to himself. As if on cue, the egg shattered into pieces, revealing a baby pendragon covered in black and blue swirls and stripes. It let out a small yelp, calling for its parents. <span style='color:red'>I think it should see it's beautiful mother first Eb.</span> He whispered, walking over to the egg with her and watching the little pup try to open its eyes. It crawled around the crib, eager to explore the surroundings after being cooped up.
Ebony purred with excitement as the egg shell finally burst into tiny fragments. Oh.... look... She managed to whisper as she approached the small, beautiful pup in the crib. She reached down and gently picked it up in her arms and cradled it. The pup gurgled happily and snuggled up to her warm chest, listening to her heart beat and recognising it immediately. Hey baby, it's mummy A small tear of happiness formed in her eye and it escaped and dampened her cheek fur. She turned her eyes away from the pup for a moment and turned to Adun.
Adun said nothing as he approached the two. His left hand went to the child's head and ruffled the fur it found. His right wrapped around Ebony's waist and pulled her into a hug with the child inbetween them. He smiled and looked Ebony in the eye, dreading what he had to say. <span style='color:red'>As happy as I am Eb, what now? I hate to ruin the moment, but we can't raise a baby in a dorm room. I have some money saved up, but what are we going to do when it runs out? </span> He whispered, touching his forehead to hers. He did hate to ruin the moment, but it had to be said. They had to start thinking about this now, they couldn't put it off any longer.
Ebony sighed, she knew what the meant. She smiled back at him as he rested his forehead on hers. I have a little saved away too. My parent's trust fund. It's not much but it'll keep us going. Her eyes turned back to the pup, who looked back and barked with a smile on its face
<span style='color:red'>Trust fund? You never told me about a trust fund...</span> He said, smirking at her. The pup barked at them, wanting the attention focused back on it. <span style='color:red'>Now then, whats your name little one?</span> He whispered, then giving a peck to Ebony.
Ebony nods slowly, still smiling as she looks back at the pup. Remember that meeting I had the other week? That's when I found out about it. It's not much, but it'll be enough. I have to attend another meeting in a week or so to check it's all ok. Legal stuff. The little bark made Ebony chuckle and she gently kissed its nose then blew a raspberry on its tummy, making it squeal with pup-laughter. He knew some of the story behind her parents, but hadn't asked, figuring she would bring it up when she was ready. Adun let out a small laugh as the pup squealed with excitement as its mother gave it a raspberry. <span style='color:red'>Lemme see</span> He said, taking the pup from her arms and moving its head down to its feet. <span style='color:red'>Well, she looks like one</span> He said, smiling at ebony as the pup watched its own tail with growing interest.

Let's hope this one will either a-stay quiet and be good or b- be asleep! Her voice had a soft tinkling laughter in it which sounded rather familiar to that of the little pup. She let the pup go to her daddy and laughed as the pup batted her tail with her paw rather suddenly. So, Marble then? Is this going to be our little Marble? She said smiling at the pup who then started eating her own tail and wondering why it hurts
Adun laughed slightly as the pup started chewing on its own tail. <span style='color:red'>Curious, isn't she?</span> He whispered, moving over to Ebony and pecking her on the forehead. <span style='color:red'>You hold her, I'll clean up the shell</span> He said, giving the pup back to its mother and starting to pick up the egg pieces.
Very curious, Ebony said chuckling. She took hold of Marble who gurgled at her mum and snuggled into her arms. All of a sudden, Marble prodded Ebony's chest with her nose and Ebony smiled, moving to the edge of the bed to sit down and offered her breast- the little one was hungry. Marble's certainly got some character already. She said softly
