  1. Mia (Winter), 81382
Clothing; Gray jeans ending at her knees.

    IC;

Her feet were glorious. They carried her wherever she wanted to go, no matter what. Usually. Having spent most of the time around the most deserted places in the cold north, she had missed out on it all. Now when she had broken free of her chains, new possibilities and wonders rose everywhere you turned. It was an ecstatic feeling being able to follow her dreams finally, after all these years. Dreams from merely to be able to walk far enough away from him, to explore a whole world of beauty. This was the sort of inspiration she needed, but he had never understood. Overwhelming emotions swept over her and the female had to swallow hard to not let the cry of mental pain and loneliness escape out of her lungs. When would it go away? Why could she not forget and look forward into her shining future as an individual with the same possibilities as everyone else?

The alabaster pendragon sat down with her back against a tree and took a heavy breath. In her hands she held both a pencil and something to draw on. She had chosen this place because it was quiet and she was less likely to meet someone while working with her sketches. She wanted to avoid the cities and the more crowded arenas, at least in the start. Social contact was a very alien thing to her, and it would take time to get used to it. She was so used to being alone without company, so she did not really feel very attracted to it at the moment. It was something that surely would change as she got more sure on both the lands and the beings that lived there. A finger stroke the small silvery star tattoo on her upper cheek, she wondered what he was doing, how he was. She had always been there for him. He had not always been there for her.

Grey eyes fixed forward on a dead and frozen flower. Once it had been beautiful, but the season had caught up with it. It had its own beauty still, and she wanted to capture it on the paper, to keep it and release it into future works. The young womanÂ’s tail curled around her naked feet at its usual spot, and she started to draw.

  2. Ah the release that the leafy depths of the jungle contained. Tira loved the teeming life that inhabited these parts. Secretly she was hoping to bump into the royal blue Arden she had met a small while back; Dumu. Tiras' heart fluttered for a moment, as socially inept as he was. He was damn fine. And with a wistful sigh the grey femme, wandered the outskirts, content just to be away from the academy once more.

As the minutes rolled by and she looked around the area with ever inquisitive eyes, her aqua glances caught the distant form of fur and 'dragon scent. It was not Dumu as her heart had first hoped, but as she quietly neared the spot, she laid eyes on a beautiful silver pelt, bright and dancing unlike her dark metallic sheen. She frowned at herself for having such selfish thoughts, Tira knew she was by no means a beautiful 'dragon, or at least believed herself to be the scum at the bottom of the barrell. Her insecurites came before fact, Tira wasn't an obvoius beauty, but the more one looked at her, the more striking her subtle features would be.

Tira was but a few steps behind the tribal thill, her eyes stretching over the shoulder to inspect the drawing of the withering plant before them. Tira had no trouble making her introductions to females, though her manners and wit were more appreciated by males. A thoughtful noise escaped her throat as she saw the accurate scribing on the paper. An artist, if not a kindred spirit in the jungle.

    <span style='color:aqua'>"My, thats a good sketch!"</span>

Tira quipped cheerfully from behind the sitting femme. She was slightly crouched, her hands on her knees as she leaned forward to inspect more. Her long Aqua hair was in a loose braid, falling over her right shoulder and swinging sofly with each breath. The dark grey ribbon kept the hair from unfurling from its twisted depths, though the shorter hair still surrounded her face. Her baggy hoodie, hid Tiras' shape and being of a deep navy blue, it was emblazoned with a simple white stamp of text - Parallax- in a serif font. Her black combats were baggy also and apart from the gleaming zips and black tassles, did not hug her form properl in any way, only slightly tightening at the thighs before going out and covering her feet. Her tail - ever fluffy - swished calmy behind her as she smiled a small sweet smile at the new discovery.

  3. The faint sound of ColibriÂ’s own sharp claw that was gently smudging out a part on the drawing was the only sound that could be heard, apart from the sounds from the jungle around her. It was a bit odd that it was so hard to copy something she saw in front of her down to a minimized version on a note. It could of course never be an identical, smaller twin of the real plant, but it was interesting realising how her hand and eyes seemed to be two completely different parts that tried to cooperate, with a not so perfect result. That was what she was trying to train up, the communication with other parts of her body in this work. Haki wanted to be able to describe the world. How the Mia sun bathed her fur on a cold day, how the soft grass felt beneath her bare feet. Things that could not be explained properly, not even in words.

She would grant the dead flower immortality, her hand and the pencil danced across the paper, and- Colibri threw her body halfway sideways, and her fur rose as if hit by lightening. She had been so focused on the sketching that she had absolutely not paid attention to anything. A voice had violently ripped her out of her intense state, and it was absolutely not another female pendragon she had expected either. Silver eyes measured the youth that had been crouching behind her a split sec before she quickly got up on her knees, pretending she merely had lost her balance.. somehow.. in her sitting position. She gave a loud sigh, and an apologizing smile to the female. " IÂ’m so sorry, my deepest apologies, I.." Had she imagined it was someone else? A brown and white male by any chance? The white and silver female suddenly felt sick and resisted the urge to vomit. She swallowed heavily and her silver eyes lost their focus and twitched, witnessing a scene that only she could see.

As the last part of the split second had passed, she was back on the cool ground again, and her eyes found the other. It had happened fast, but it was very likely that the dark furred youth in front of her had noticed it. Great, now I will get stamped as a crazy person.. the silvery female thought with a toxic sad feeling piercing her heart. Maybe it was not too far from the truth, but from such a past, who wouldnÂ’t be mentally disturbed? " I did not hear you, I was completely in my own world." She gave a chuckle and picked up the drawing material from the forest floor. " The sketch is nowhere near finished yet, but thank you for the compliment, it warms." It did, she felt flattered. The girl in front of her was a bit younger than Colibri herself, and wearing clothes that, according to Colibri, seemed a bit too big to her, hiding her forms. Why was that, the other pendragon was apparently blessed by nature with the appearance as far as she could see..

" I am Colibri.." What else was there to say, really..

  4. A kindly smile erupted from the grey thill. Half in apology, half in greeting. Tira had a habit of sneaking up behind people and scaring people half to death. The amount of times the sharp hearing Shadow had been frightened out his fur at her silent presence. She learnt from the best, at least that was what Shadow was in her mind. Colibri made to stand up, more out of nervousness at the sudden intrusion. Tira placed a paw at the back of her head rubbing her ear guiltily. She'd frightened the older lassie a bit much - she neededto wear a bell or something. Her grin turned into a worried frown as she saw the troubled look of the silver eyed thill. The apoligy said to Tira that something deeper troubled the bright female, but it wasn't her place to ask, not yet.

Poor thing, Tira thought to herself. It must have been something serious, to cause outward stress like that. Still, misery loved company...maybe Tira could be that for her. She doubted anything else interesting would be happening today. Colibri composed herself as she sat down on the cool ground, Tira still half crouched from before hunkered down lower, curling her tail around her non-visible feet. Such sorrowful eyes, Tira felt herself sympathizing with the other thill.

" I did not hear you, I was completely in my own world."

Tira allowed another sweet affable smile to draw across her features and she coccked her ead to the side in interest at the drawing. Tira was no artist when it came to paper and pencil. Hers was with magic and hopefully shapeshifting one day. Tira could agree with the female on one point. In this place - it was all too easy to get lost in your own world. Tira wanted to get lost in someone elses' or at least be a part of his. Whom - she wouldn't say... not even to Shadow.

<span style='color:aqua'>"Tis' alright, Sorry i frightened the fur off ya' its' a bad habit of mine"</span>

Her compliment warmed the female did it? Well Tira was glad that she appreciated her thoughts, and she shuffled to get a closer look, the long braid swishing in a meek protest. The drawing was much better that what she could do, or ever hope to... again, that was because her art was with magic. Still drawing was to be envied and awed.

<span style='color:aqua'>"And it's already that good, gee golly, you must be talented! You thought of enrolling in an art class? Oh maybe you aready are?"</span>

Tira quipped with a her voice sounding happily in the muted leaves, her eyes focused on the distant plant and then to the femme as she stated her name.

    <span style='color:aqua'>"Oh oh, I'm Tiramitsu, but that's a mouthful. So just call me Tira...You new around here?"</span>

As the younger female also apologized, just as she had done herself moments ago, Colibri tilted her head slightly, a smile automatically appearing on her lips, a warmer one, far less tense than her first. The teen should not apologize, it was not her fault that Colibri was mentally unstable creature. She tried telling herself that it was not her own fault, but some of the skeletons in her closet had ended up there because of her and only her.

The alabaster Â’dragon blinked and laid down the paper on the ground closer to the darker girl as she seemed to still show some interest despite the odd welcome Coli had given her. It was pleasant to know she was not merely wasting paper on something stupid. He had never cared to praise her for anything, so it was actually the first time she had gotten a approving comment from someone. How pathetic, she should have crowded up with the rest of the pendragon society before. Too late for regrets now, and maybe she would not have made it at a much younger age.

More words escaped the other girl, and Coli kept her eyes on her as she spoke, visibly showing that she was listening to what the other had to say. Tiramitsu, that was quite a name. The white fae repeated it in her head, it was very pretty. However, she forgot all about pretty names and butterflies as Tira came with the unavoidable question if she was new. ColibriÂ’s smile did not falter, and her eyes returned to their normal size, warm and silvery. Well, she could start with the first question. " Hehe, I donÂ’t know much of how talented I am, but it is such a calming activity. " Actually, maybe she should start taking art classes. She had learnt everything by endlessly trying to improve, a teacher had never been there. It was a quite good idea, she could learn new techniques and get professional help. Such a good idea.

" I have not joined any art class yet, but it is a good idea. There is nothing I want more than to improve." She was still sitting, and she absently began stroking her silk pelted tail. " As for new, yes, I am. I have kind of lived alone in the far north. If you wonder why I dress so lightly, that is the reason, I am used to the cold, and my fur is quite warm. I actually arrived here about one week ago, so.. Yeah, I am a bit clueless about both the land and its inhabitants. " She gave a nod towards the female as she said inhabitants. She wondered how the warmer seasons would treat her. Thank God for the lakes. </div></td></tr></table></td></tr><tr></table></td></tr></table>

  6. First impressions were everything, and Tira was glad that the female was warming up in her responses, it was almost like she'd pressed a button when the warm smile filled the others' features. Everyone looked better when they smiled, for a smile would reflect in the eyes, and the eyes would lead to the soul. Course that also meant other emotions were just as likely to show in those windows of the soul.

As the paper neared, Tira started to flick her eyes from the drawing and then to the plant. She liked the way it seemed to show the last living moments of the flower, that it once was beautiful in life, and opened its' petals to the sun and stars. It was like an elixir of life, the way the pencil had softly etched the dying form. Embalmed in the starchy contains of the white sheet.

Eyes were kept on her as she spoke to the tribal female, and Tira felt that Coli was taking in those words like an alcoholic with their first glass of wine in the night. Her kind words might have had the effect of a plaster on a bullet wound. The bullet would remain, but at least the flesh wouldn't rip further. Tira finally gave the fellow thill a chance to respond.

As she had guessed, Colibri was indeed a newling to these parts, so she wouldn't have applied for any schooling, nor would she have set up a permanent home yet. Tira felt the mother hen in her rise. Even if she nudged the thill with a few options, she was sure it'd be of some help.

<span style='color:aqua'>" well, if you want to improve, you should enrol at Janardan Academy! It's one of the best places to go, and it has dorms on the campus"</span>

She paused as if in thought. She was - Tira had been meaning to apply for a shapeshifting class - and this would be a perfect chance for the female to ask for some guidance without seeming helpless.

<span style='color:aqua'>"Just so happens i'm applying for another class, Shapeshifting, so if you want to come along with me, i can introduce you to the principle - i'll be sure to put in a good word for ya'"</span>

Maybe the female suddenly felt uncomfortable in the silence, for as her 'so...' that had begun to trail off, she found Coli explaining her dress sense. Well Tira wouldn't wear something like that, but she'd seen worse, If you had the body for it, then why not? Plus, being different wasn't always bad.

<span style='color:aqua'>" Don't worry about the inhabitants, most of them are okay. Oh and i only dress like this because, well its' my style. If i could get away with what you were wearing, i would! I don't like to show any fur really though, and the big pocket along the front of my jumper, makes for good storage space"</span>

Tira had begun to spiral into a rambling flurry of words, and at 'pocket' she realised. Smiling once more with a somewhat embarrassed expression, she paused. Letting someone else have the chance to answer, before their head was talked off.

    <div style="font-family:vladimir script; font-size: 25px; color: #ff99ff; border-bottom: 1px dotted #ffaaff; text-align: right; line-height: 14px;">IC</div>
To apply for schooling was actually a brilliant idea. Art was a passion, but there was more to this world than her need to romanticise it all. 20 years had run away from her, and there was so much she wanted to do. She knew the academy lied not too far from here, as she had heard noises and barely seen the hints of buildings through the vegetation from the walking route she had chosen. The mere thought of 10+ pendragons at once was enough to make her sweat, and she was not sure if she would be ready for small, overcrowded classrooms.. people all around her.. It was almost entertaining to witness herself turn every promising possibility into something to be feared. She seriously had to stop, she had more to gain than to lose. She should rather focus on how exciting it probably would be, and oh, everything she would learn. If she just was a good student, she would not lie too much behind the rest probably. Tira said she was to apply to a shape shifting class, which meant she too probably would start mostly with blank papers.

Coli pressed her teeth continuously together, creating a rhythmic clicking sound, a habit of hers, usually done when she was thinking. The female was still talking, and it almost seemed as if this Tira was reading her thoughts. Not to worry about the inhabitants. "If i could get away with what you were wearing, i would!" This caused the white to swiftly tilt her face a bit downwards away from the other, blushing. It was not to show off, really, though the other had not proclaimed she did just that. It was another compliment directed to her, but truth be told it was, just as the white pendragon had said earlier, she was so accustomed to the cold up in the north.. Truth be told, that was not the only reason either. She had not had much to choose from. She could understand it could be uncomfortable to show fur, some did, some did not, it was all about how people felt about themselves and their bodies. Personally she had never considered herself beautiful, simply because she had nothing and no one to compare to. Besides, beauty lied in the eye of the beholder. it was self-explained.

The light lady let her eyes set on the other female again, and nodded slowly, as if to herself. " Shapeshifting? That is something I want to truly master. I would be honoured if you introduced me to the principle." She gave a small chuckle. " I actually have worked on that particular skill for a few years now, but on my own, it has been hard, so I have not made much progression at all, just on the focus part." and focusing did not do wonders alone, but Colibri had managed making parts of her fur change color, but material shape shifting was far out of her reach still. It was easiest when she saw it, not only in mind, but with her eyes too. She had been sitting for many hours staring intensely on her own tail, trying to make it shift. In the end, the hard work had paid off, a bit. Being mostly in hues of black and white, it had been crazy to witness color spread, though she never was able to create a intense color no matter how hard she tried. Pastels.

" Are that good that you could show me an example of a shape shift?" Grey eyes smiled at the other. Obviously Tira wanted to take up shapeshifting class to actually learn it, but she could be just like Colibri, and master some complete basics, or more. </div></td></tr></table></td></tr><tr></table></td></tr></table>

  8. OOC: Really?! wow thank you ^_^ i love replying to your stuff ^_^ it really keeps my muse goin'

    IC:
Tiras' audits swivelled around to take in the odd, but strangely pleasant clicking sound Coli made. Her head cocked like an inquisitive puppy as her words made the older thill blush. Going over her words in her head, she decided that it was nothing taken to offense, and that her blushing was a shy response Tira blinked for a moment, her eyes slighty dry as she realised she had - in the midst of talking Coli half to death- stopped blinking. Tira was beginning to tire in her half poised/ crouching stance, so settled herself upon her posterior, her knees up at her chest, and he tail once more curled aroundher feet. Pushing a rouge lock ofhair away from her face, she exhaled a short burst of air through her nose as itreturned ever persistant to its original position in front of her eyes. The grey thill was very much listening though. Pushing her hair away from her face was a guesture of sub-concious concentraition.

Giving up on the rouge hair that always framed her face, she turned with a smile on the common terms she had stumbled on with Coli - Shapeshifting. That would mean they'd be in the same class if they both applied at the same time. Tira wasn't against the thought of having a class withthe Albaslter thill, she liked the wayshespoke, and her modest reserves. A small smile was issused on the chuckle, she liked the thill. Maybe not themost outgoing, but certainlysincere. Tira had two female firends at the most- One being a recent addition, a young blue thill called Shanu - but no-one she was truly close to yet. Having nearly all male friends wasn't bad - she shouldn't complain -But it would be nice for female company more often, no matter how gay some of her male friends were, they were never the same as a true female.

She pricked back to full attention, and her ears fell against her head as she listened. Tira couldn't shapeshift yet. She had the skill - definately- but she hadn't found her way to focus like her new aquaintance had. Shadow couldn't explain it to her - and had tried in vain- and no-one else had been able to either. She'd even asked her Summoning tutor, who had suggested she apply for the class. Her tutor was sure if she could find her focus to use shapeshifting - and basing on her excellent Elemental summoning skills - she'd take to it like an Aquabat to, well, water.

<span style='color:aqua'>" I can't use any form of shapeshifting yet , i have the talent according to my Elemental Summoning Tutor - my magika aint tooooo shabby. Just can't find my way of focusing, and of course i don't want to get myself stuck in some limbo shapeshifting form if i do manage, it'd be my luck"</span>

She half chuckled, half sighed at herself there. She despised staying like this, short - in her mind - stumpy and generally just Bleh, to overcome the insecurities she needed to change something, anything about herself. She needed to shed the scars of her heart. Shapeshifting just seemed like the right way to go about it. It felt right inher heart. Plus psychology wasn't all it crackedup to be, she wasn't passionate about it like her summoning.

<span style='color:aqua'>"i mean, how did you find your focus, i've tried everything..."</span>

Her ears remained against her head. Tira was very honest about nearly all her feelings, it was an aspect of her personality that made her so caring and generally trustworthy. and Tira would alway tell her friends how she felt. She had trouble expressing this aspect of herself with her past boyfriends, maybe that was why she'd been dumped on every occasion so far, she mused. Blotting that negative thought from her head, her eyes regained their sparkle. If it was meant to be, it would be. She was happier without him and everyone had noticed her change in personality since the spilt. Even the grey thill couldn't deny she was a better, stronger person for it. Still she felt kinda lonely sometimes... In the middle of the night when she was alone in her dorm, with nothing but the ticking of her clock to accompany her. Evenstill she preffered it to the company of the smucks she had been with in the past. That psychology class was a pain, she was assessing herself - another reason she planned to drop it.

<div style="font-family:vladimir script; font-size: 25px; color: #ff99ff; border-bottom: 1px dotted #ffaaff; text-align: right; line-height: 14px;">IC</div>When it came to friends, it was quite simple. The white fae had never had any. Actually, in some ways, she had not missed being completely alone either. You never know what you have before you lose it, but when youÂ’ve never had it, you cannot miss it. She did not miss what she knew nothing about. Of course, she had been granted different companies every now and then in the north but.. eh.. she had never bothered making contact. Mostly it had been Ykis brought to the cave that had been their little hideout, though he had moved her every once in a while to a new home, so that it had been impossible for anyone to actually localise them. The visitors usually were gone when she woke up the day after, only a light metallic scent as a quiet reminder of what had gone on. That sickening smell. Made her sick to the bones.

It had been so quiet and tranquil in the north, beside the icy blizzards. She had spent countless hours and days, sitting in the snow, gazing out in the distance, only seeing snow, snow and more snow. Not birds singing, only a silent hum from the gentle wind. If there was anything she missed, that might be what she felt she lacked the most. The silence. At least there were a few good memories she carried along with her. Just a few, though a corrupted part of her missed the rest of the happenings too. Thankfully she was not completely messed up in her head, like a certain other being had been, and took pride in the fact that she managed staying somewhat this positive to life and its inhabitants. She could have turned out so wrong, but he had not manage shaping her even anywhere close to himself.

Tira talked, and made it known that she had no skill whatsoever in Shapeshifting in her current state. Colibri was not surprised, because it was insanely hard to improve the skill alone without guidance when a female. How Colibri had found her focus? The female tensed a bit, because she was not sure of what kind of an answer she should give. Talking, just thinking of her past before the cross over from the north made her a bit uncomfortable, because she wanted it to be nothing but a bad dream that never had happened. Her life had just started, nothing had happened and she had blank papers and would only look ahead towards the future. Although she could not completely escape it, ever, she was willing to give her best to do so.

" Well.." Her gray eyes wandered away from the younger female for a moment. There was no point of lying. She could just explain it briefly without adding anything. That was safe enough, was it not? " Imagine countless hours, days and months, with nothing, and yes, I mean Nothing to do. It gives you the will to try Anything to suffocate the boredom. I always knew it was possible for females to shape shift, even though they are not born with the ability, like most males, so one day I just sat down and waited for my tail to change to another color." The light female smiled, thinking back. " I think it is about 110% focusing on exactly what you want, and then maintain it. I donÂ’t know how long time I spent just sitting watching my boring tail, it just started working one day. " It was the best way she could describe it, and it was poorly, she knew. She was not sure she could give the darker girl and example either, because it did not always work.

" I have no idea how to do it properly, so that is why I should sign up for the class." she nodded vaguely as if agreeing with herself, which she actually did. Compared to Tira, Colibri was not very honest, though she always did try to keep a version of the truth. It was just to protect others and herself. Without knowing, this made her a very unhappy being. Not being able to share her sorrows and issues, her thoughts and her dreams. Never fully. She refused to mention the tricks he had quickly given her the one and only time she had asked. She was stupid being so paranoid, but that could possibly lead to questions of who, where when, and that was answers she felt she could not give. How much of the happenings up north reached these lands? She could never know, and therefore never be safe. And all these thoughts that were up in her head, why couldnÂ’t she just get rid of them? It was so silly making such fuzz about it. </div></td></tr></table></td></tr><tr></table></td></tr></table>
