<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Join in for now! Also the character I will be using is Myranda Fjeij.</td></tr></table> 26 Tria, 81379 Myranda tugged her furry parka closer to her body. So much snow fell around her, inch by inch. The sun was not visible, nor the sky. The snowflakes flurried back and forth, with such power from the wind that Myranda was pulled slightly to the left, and then foward, and then right, left again, and so forth. It seemed unfit and backwards, having this kind of weather in the mid of Tria. Still, Myranda pushed foward to the southwest, where she thought Bhim was located. Her long, dark blue scarf blew around her, the ends frayed from the weather. The Belle kept moving, never letting herself stop to avoid freezing to death. <span style='color:orange'>Keep moving, Myranda. You can't let your sister down,</span> said a little voice in her head. Myranda put on a quick face of confidence, following an expression of relief and excitement when she saw a small dome-like house made out of ice, tree bark (<span style='color:orange'>Where do you find tree bark in a place like this?</span>), and some sort of rock. Myranda ran up towards the house being careful not to fall into the snow (she's done that many times beforehand). The light was a small lantern, a bright orange glow came from a device within it. She saw the fairly small door on the house and written on it was: <span style='color:red'>FINK'S SLAUGHTER HOUSE: STAY OUT.</span> She took a step back, mouth gaping open. <span style='color:orange'>Who owns a cruel slaughter house out in the middle of nowhere?!?! Are they mean and evil or just insane?</span> Myranda stood there in utter surprise, but then sat to think. <span style='color:orange'>Okay Myra, let's stop to think about this for a moment, maybe this isn't a slaughter house- I mean it seems a little too small to fit meat and creatures and-</span> she shuddered for a moment. <span style='color:orange'>Who's this Fink guy anyways?</span> Myranda does her most daring and dangerous thing yet in her life (besides traveling in this weather), she opens the forbidden door. The door creaks a little, dust and snow falling on her head. <span style='color:orange'>Obviously no one has been here for ages,</span> she says as she brushes off the debri and cowebs. Suddenly, a light turns on inside the small house.
A litte surprised as well as frightened, a thill flicked on the torch light she'd been carrying around and shone it at the entrance door. It had made an odd creak when it opened, allowing the cold air from outside rage in. She shivered as the cold ran around her black body. There at the entrance, a pendragon of purple stood. Possibly a traveller looking for shelter. A brave one, this one is. For most 'dragons would've just run away after reading the sign in front. Kien was no different. She'd taught the front door was locked (and also didn't want to meet anyone by the name of Fink when she knocked on the door) so she decided to find a way in. Luckily enough, this igloo or whatever it was, had a small enough window where the thill could fit through. Just moments after finding this place was filled with nothing but an abandoned feeling, the stranger had come in. "Who's that?" Kien asked as she continued to shine the light in the stranger's face.
The first thing Myranda did when that light falshed against her face was jump. <span style='color:orange'>Oh my- that scared me!!!</span><span style='color:blue'> Whoa, what? Oh, 'tis another 'dragon... Phew.</span> Myranda looked at her with an annoyed face. <span style='color:blue'>Well, who are you? And what are you doing here? And don't tell me you haven't been slaughtering things!</span> Myranda tried to look at the character, but the light shone so brightly in her eyes that she could only see a yellowish beam. <span style='color:blue'>Get that out of my face please! I'm not in the mood to be annoyed with little things like lights in my face! It's cold enough as is...</span> She pushed the light away, being able to see the female before her. <span style='color:blue'>I dont suppose I've seen you before... Do you live here? Or were you also trying to escape this dreadful weather?</span> Myranda said as she cooled down a little. <span style='color:blue'>May I step in?</span>
Relieve washed over when Kien realised that the purple stranger wasn't Fink or whoever that is. She even found it amusing that this thill thought that she stays here. Does she look like a slaughterer? You can step in, I guess. This isn't my place. I don't think it's anyone's place anymore. The cobwebs are plentyful. she said and pointed to the ceiling. Amazing how some small critters could survive this immensely cold weather. And yes, I was escaping the cold. But I didn't use the front door, though. When you came in, I thought you were Fink. Oh and to answer your earlier question, I'm Kien. Some teenage traveller with nothing to do, I might add. Kien set the torchlight face down on one of the boxes nearby and then pulled the handle up. It now took the use of what a lantern should. A very handy tool. She then turned towards the thill. And who are you?
Myranda sighed of relief. <span style='color:orange'>Thank goodness she is not Fink!</span>She stepped in, noticing how shabby and old the place had become. The chairs wer quite flimsy, the table falling apart. <span style='color:blue'>Well, my name is Myranda Fjiej, or at least I was. You can call my Myra if you want. I'm 25 years old... I think.</span> Myranda pauses. <span style='color:orange'>Wow I must've been gone from home for a long time if I can hardly remember my own age...</span> Myranda sniffled a little, continuing on. <span style='color:blue'>I've been traveling to meet my sister somewhere, and I got stuck. This house is my way of survival until I'm ready to continue. What leads you here?</span> Myranda sat in one of the creaky and old chairs, her lower legs criss-crossed.
Well, my name is Myranda Fjiej, or at least I was... Kien raised an eyebrow to that statement. She was? But then she didn't ask anything. She knew better than to pry deep into people's history. She did, however, wondered what this thill had been through if she wasn't even sure of her own age. She nodded when Myranda had finished. Hmm... well, I'm a traveller, like I said. I like hearing music in different states. Haven't been here before so I decided to make a visit. Though, it could use a little bit of sunshine. Kien replied while digging through her backpack which was lying beside her. Do you want anything to eat? I have two slabs of raw meat and a bag of nachos. Want anything?
Myranda felt her stomach grumble. All she had in her pouch was a few sandwiches, and she hadn't eaten them all day. <span style='color:blue'>Meat? I'd love some! And nachos, of course...</span> but she really lied through her teeth, nachos were her least favorite. <span style='color:blue'>I don't eat too much, so you probably will have leftovers. But, I have been travelling for a long time without much food so, you never know!</span> Myranda laughs a little, knowing that she was never the comical one in her family. <span style='color:orange'>Wait... she's been carrying meat around?</span> Myranda smiled at the thought of it.
Kien nodded and handed Myranda the raw slab of meat. Then she took out a paper bag which was containing nachos and shook half the contents into a tissue paper she'd just brought out. If you like your meat cooked, I've brought some chopped firewood and a match. she said, digging through her stuff again. But they're very little. After saying so, she took out another slab of meat for herself. She was one who didn't bother about meat being cooked or not. She's all about convinience. Chewing the edge of the meat, her head worked for something to say. Where excactly are you headed?
Myranda struggled between manners and her scavenging hunger, trying to eat the raw meat, but keeping a good sense of politeness. She swallowed the piece in her mouth. <span style='color:blue'>I'm travelling towards Bhim. My sister is there. We're doing sort of a... family reunion.</span> Myranda took another bite. <span style='color:blue'>Sho whar are oou hedded?</span>
Bhim, eh? I've been there a couple of times. Seem like a funny place to have a family reunion, though. Kien said. She delicately took another bite and chewed that down. Want any drinks? We can melt the ice... She began to rumage for a matchbox and some firewood. She was, after all, feeling rather thristy. Her left ear perked as Myranda asked her where she was headed with her mouth full. Kien smiled a little and wondered why the femme hadn't been eating recently. I don't really know. I was planning to spend the whole day here but it seems spending time out of here is better. She paused as she pulled out the stuff she was searching for. You know, now that you've mentioned it, there are some things I'd like to get from Bhim. I can go with you, if you like. I know the way well.
Myranda smiled <span style='color:blue'>Finally someone that knows how to get to Bhim... I don't suppose why not....</span> Myranda sat up in her chair. <span style='color:blue'>I need someone to help me get there soon, and before the An- sorry, I mean before my sister becomes worried.</span> Myranda hesitated to go on. <span style='color:orange'>Phew that was too dangerous to say. I wonder if my sister even knows I'm in the middle of the Vjisti Plains -or wherever I am- with a stranger eating raw meat.</span> Then Myranda got backed to reality, finishing what she had to say. <span style='color:blue'>So.... yeah. And may I have a bit of something to drink? I'm a little parched myself.</span>
Your sister stays in Bhim? Kinda a weird place to stay in, if I may comment it. the youth said and got up, heading towards the window with. She climbed out of it and out of sight only returning a few minutes later with a medium sized can filled with white snow. She shook away the snow that had stuck unto her black coat and then settled down again at her spot. After lighting a good fire, she hovered the can over the fire and waited for the snow to melt. If you're heading to Bhim, what are you doing way down here? Kien asked as she looked up at Myranda, a puzzled expression on her face. Bhim's somewhere up in northeast.
