<h4>Out of Character</h4>Who: <a href=http://shadowlack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=373#stormwing>Okkie</a>, http://shadowlack.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=25&t=1655Jace</a>, and one of Aaron’s lovies? What: Okkie is going for a swim! Where: Middle of the Sagar. When: Just after noon, Dyo, Day 49, Year 81378 (4). Rated: G. <h4>In Character</h4>The flesh still stung, the invasion of the alabaster ink burning as if poison filtered in her extremities. Okkie peered at her hands and her feet, their snowsheen dye jobs glowing with white splendor. They were quite beautiful, yes, complementing her bands quite well, but they hurt! Tattoos usually did, she knew, and the pain was nothing too unbearable. Nevertheless, she shook her mittens, as if trying to fling the pinpricks of agony away, as if desiring to cast them into the salty water at her feet. The young pendragon was perched on a floating platform in the heart of the Sagar, buoyed by salty sea water. Her device was simply a bunch of planks tied together, and she had found it on the beach. Supposing that it was a raft some nioties had made for a game, she did not think anyone would need or miss it, and she had borrowed it for the day. As Okkie now stood upon it, peering at the glistening wetness around her, shaking her hands, she wondered if taking a cool swim would help get her mind off the pain. It was worth a try. Coiling her hind legs beneath her, the bipedal femme sprang clear of her board, launching into the sea. The day was hot, and the sudden rush of cold liquid over her bodice was not unwelcome. Okkie let herself spear downwards in a rapid spiral, until she was a good twenty feet below the surface. Then, she halted her movement, and then floated there, marveling at how clear the water was, and how the strong beams of the sun penetrated this liquid planet, wrapping around her even despite the fathoms. The thill then spread her right arm, and the remnant of her left, and thrusted upwards, speedily zooming to the surface. She broke free of the water, breached a few inches, and then splashed back, treading in circles. A light breeze ruffled her wet fur, and she sighed happily, indeed having forgotten the pain of her decorations. Having forgotten most everything.
<font color=maroon>in.character - <u>javelin valimos</u></font> Jace didn't stalk his beloved. No, indeed, due to his job, Valimos left plenty of time for Okkie to be alone. It was her right, after all, as much as it was his to have his own life. Yet that didn't mean he didn't follow her sometimes. As was the case on this particular day. Now, it wasn't that he had nothing to do. There was some information he could gather around these parts - contacts he hadn't seen in months, if not years - that he was quite happy to have the chance to get. Valimos hadn't seen his caramel-and-cream lady for the last couple of days and the prospect of missing her again for the next few was one that didn't exactly depress him, merely made the male sad. Which he had no reason to be. Thus, seeing her destination, he had quickly made arrangements with the local Pro-Graders. He'd meet with them later. A whole week near Sagar. Or that was how much time he had alotted. He could always ask for more - or stay for less. Most would find it quite odd to see a surf board slung casually across his sloped shoulder. The tip was nestled evenly across his black-marked white fur. Smoothed to perfection, it was quite the elegant slice of wood. Made by a master, it had been. Jace had been given the board for his thirteenth birthday by his parents. The ones who had raised him, anyway, despite the fact that the guy he called "dad" was no biological relation of his. It didn't matter, ultimately. The object, intended for surfing, was black with white markings, inverted from his own. It complimented his own coat. This picture covered both sides quite elegantly, the well-shaped board still in excellent shape, due to its scarce use. Even when it was used, it was rarely on waves. Seeing as he enjoyed paddling out somewhere and just perching on the surfboard - not actually using it as it was intended. As was the case today. Sagar was no raging mass of oceanic blue. Rather, it was tame and rather reclusive, in its own fashion. Hiding all of its terrors and treasures beneath innocent aqua depths. Perhaps much like some who bore blue eyes yet were no innocents. Bare feet drew him toward the expanse of water. He relished the feeling of sand beneath his paws, seeing as he loved to sandboard and this reminded him very much of that. Though some of it was damp. Clearly that implied that he was not in the middle of a dune-filled desert. No matter, though, it was better that he was near to Okkie. Slipping silently into the water as she swam, he paddled close to the planks that formed her own craft. Settling gently right there, the male slipped into the water, feeling the cool water as it brushed against his legs. Jace was wearing a pair of blue swim shorts and a folded white-marked blue bandanna around his forehead - intended to keep the hair out of his depthless black orbs until he started swimming. Then it would be damp and he could brush it back. As Okkie rose to the surface, the male ducked back under. Fingers splayed as he swam underwater toward his beloved. They brushed reflexively against her toes, before her rose up in front of her, an affectionate, teasing smile on his face. <font color=maroon>"Why, Okkie! Imagine seeing you here."</font> He purred in soft amusement, delight clear in his eyes. Glad to see Stormwing at any time, was Valimos.
The one thing she had not forgotten was that single pendragon whom was always on her mind — Javelin. As Okkie paddled to keep herself afloat, she briefly thought of her lover, wondered where he was and what he was doing. Lately, they had not seen each other all that much, because he was busy with his job and she was occupied with her studies. But Tria was going to be upon them in but a few days, so perhaps she would begin to see more of him? The thought made her smile, that was, until she felt a tickling against her socked paws, and she sucked in her breath quite quickly. Images of Jace faded from her mind as she turned to look at her feet, thoughts of baby kuenyms or other beasts fresh on her mind. But it was nothing of that sort that abruptly broke the surface in front of the cinnamon femme. In fact, it was a pendragon, striped like a zebra of lore, and his maroon locks were pulled back under a cloth. Surprised simultaneously by his presence and his entrance, Okkie gasped, but then the smile returned, brighter than before. She threw her trim arm around Javelin, cuddling their cheeks together as she chirped happily, her unclothed body comfortable against his own clad in board shorts. “Putting your spy tricks to use?” She queried teasingly when, after a moment, she pulled from the embrace. “Not that I mind. I’ve missed you the past few days, boy. What have you been up to? I, personally, have been deep into some body decorating. You like?” And she held up her single mitten for him to see that, where the fur had once been caramel like the rest of her pelt, it was now a glorious white. She also pointed to her toes, and her ear-tips, and, finally, her tail-tip; all had been tattooed with matching alabaster ink, and Okkie wanted to make sure Jace approved of this latest addition to her physical beauty.
Floating on a small uncaring reef of sorts out in the heart of Sagar he was. The mid-size male lifts his head up from the reef then gazes up upon the form of the blazing hot sun that roasted him in continuous waves of heat. His one red eye gazes upon then then drops back against the reef as his hand flowed along in the cool waters off the edge of the reef. Feeling that he was at the end of his rope, thinking of when the seas would take him. His aqua colored coat shimmered in the sunlight as it continued to beat down upon him, making it as if he wasn't there at all. Slowly upon laying his head back against the reef his unscared eye begins to drift shut and causes the aqua male to drift off into a kind of mind-lock.
<font color=maroon>in.character - <u>javelin valimos</u></font> Aha, Jace had actually surprised her - at least to an extent. He hadn't meant to make her leap out of the water or anything, it was just intended to be a teasing brush of his digits against the bottom of her foot. His eyes had been open at that point in time, but he had been staring at her face, above the water, not at the foot itself. Otherwise he would have noticed the creamy socks. Maybe he registered it in the back of his mind, being a Spy, he simply didn't realize it. It wasn't important, anyway. If she had suddenly become brilliant pink from the waist down, it is likely that he wouldn't have noticed. At least his conscious mind wouldn't. Such a silly teen, sometimes, was Javelin. As he rose like some sea beast of old in front of his beloved, there was a charming grin that still curled such handsome lips. A delightful twist of his lips that definitely showed how great it was to see her. He noticed the tips of her ears and his eyes grew puzzled - had he missed that before, somehow? - but he doubted it. As her arm was slung around him, though, he forgot about his temporary confusion. His own arms wrapped warmly about her waist, an amused look in his eyes as she spoke. Ahh, was that so? So he hadn't been wrong about his suspicions. Eyes flickered across the displayed hand, fingers reaching out to delicately touch the inked skin. He would think that would have hurt. Personally, Jace would never have done such a... big project all at the same time. But that was just him. Then again, he needed the immediete use of all digits at the same time, it was neccessary for his job. Whereas Okkie had the luxury of a lighter lifestyle. <font color=maroon>"'s beautiful."</font> He commented, still marveling at the way it accented the coiled rings she had already owned, her caramel coat, her mismatched eyes. <font color=maroon>"Of course you were lovely before, but now... well, I'm going to have to be dragging the guys off of you! I'm envious already of all of those Janardan boys."</font> Jace commented teasingly, clearly thinking her more beautiful just for being Okkie than any physical beauty could ever compare to. Ah, that was just the way of Valimos. That was when he noticed the other male. Ears flicked forward, eyes narrowed slightly, as he peered at the reef raft. What was someone doing like that? It looked dangerous... and, well, not very smart, either. As if they could fall off and plummit to the bottom of the Sagar before they even had the chance to return from what appeared to be a trance, from this position. A hand gestured lightly at the object - and its pendragon - a thoughtful tone as he spoke. <font color=marooN>"Wonder who that is?"</font>
A faint glimmer of illumination caught Okkie’s eye, and she turned her head a bit to see, expecting it to be the mere churning of ice-blue waves cresting under a glowing sun. Instead, her mismatched orbs fell upon a pendragon of frosty fur, floating on the tips of a reef as if he had nary a care in the world. The femme stared at the fellow beast, trying to discern its form against the faded backdrop of the aquamarine sky, and when she finally realized what she was seeing, a soft gasp escaped her muzzle. She flicked her façade back towards Javelin, maw agape, and every word he was saying went right in one of her bat-like ears and out the other. She was too surprised and caught off guard by the uncanny presence of the other, and when Jace finally acknowledged him, she bit her lip and squeaked. “I think I know him. I think. That we have horrid timing." Aye, perhaps, but it was too late to just swim away and pretend that she had never seen him. Once more, Okkie turned to peer at the masculine body reposing upon the reef, and she chewed her lip. He sure was familiar to her two-toned eyes, but what if she was mistaken? What if it was not him at all? Or what if it was a mirage? The sun was bright today. But she shook her head, and leaned towards Javelin. All at once scared and nervous, and she whispered to her lover. “If it is who I think it is, he is not going to like you much."
Fe'shi lifts his head up once more from the reef then opens his one red glowing eye looking out at the crystal blue waters again. Glares slightly then takes his hands placing them against the surface of the reef then lifts himself up stretching out his body in was causing his joints to pop. Shakes his head and turns his eyes to a set of 'dragons that floated there in the water looking back at him. He shakes his head once more then closes his eye, vainshing from the reef. Reappears sitting on the surface of the water looking down upon the now identified 'dragon Okkie. He looks at her with a smirk then to the male companion that she was hanging with. Casts a glare upon him then looks back to Okkie speaking. "IT seems the winds of fate has casted me into another wicked drift. Tis good see you...my Okkie." He spoke outstretching his hand to her.
<font color=maroon>in.character - <u>javelin valimos</u></font> As Okkie began to speak, the spy's eyes grew puzzled. Why wouldn't the other like Javelin? After all, the Pro-Grader beast had never met the aqua male over there. With the appearance of the other it would have been a simple remembering, after all. The black-and-white male shook his head slightly in confusion. Was this, then, a past lover to his beloved Okkie? Maybe it was that ex-roomie who she had... been intimate with. The thought caused him to stiffen slightly, staring once more at the aqua one splayed across the reef. As the other left his makeshift raft and dove under, appearing nearby, Jace peered at him once again, confirming that he hadn't met this male before. The fact that his lover was close, though, and obviously nervous, even scared, made him edgy. Kept his arm wrapped around her in a careful sign of protection. Not as if he owned her, but as if she was with him, and he would guard her with every fiber in his body. As Fe'shi glared at him, a brow was quirked coldly, tail flicking slightly under the water. When he spoke and extended a hand to Okkie, it took all of Jace's training to keep instinctive gestures thwarted. He wanted to rip into the male simply for calling Javelin's beloved "my Okkie". Who the hell did he think he was? Jace pretended that he hadn't noticed the fact that the proffered hand was intended for Okkie. Actually, if his eyes had been readable, they would have suggested that he knew and was simply choosing to be polite in how he answered this action. His own mitt was thrust forward, reaching for the other's in an intended handshake. A smile, thin and rather cool in its intentions, graced his muzzle. There was a slight tilt of his head as he spoke, an instinctive need to guard his chosen female stirring in his gut, causing the male's grip to tighten slightly around his beloved, the arm still wrapped protectively about her waist. <font color=maroon>"Since apparently you and Okkie already know each other - though it is curious that you get off calling her yours - I suppose that leaves introductions to be made between you and I. The name's Javelin Valimos."</font> Tone strangely absent, emotionless, as he spoke. For he didn't want to sound angry. Even when there was a very subtle threat in that whole challenge to the aqua male calling Jace's girl "his". It wasn't right and such was suggested - whether the newcomer chose to accept the comment as it was intended or not.
Fe'shi looked to the male out the corner of his eye then back to Okkie seemingly as if he wasn't there. "Fe'shi Wong...", He spoke as he continued to look upon Okkie. A deep and sensible feeling towards Okkie still dewell within his body and mind as he stood there infront of the two of them. Licks his lips slightly then drops down onto a knee on the water surface, looking over her as if she was a object of priceless ore or something.
Her cinnamon body and milken paws clung to Javelin as the other male finally seemed to acknowledge them, and even began to approach. Okkie was like a scared, desperate kitten, absently clawing at her mate as if frightened for her life. Really, her feelings were more like embarrassed and extremely awkward, and she continued attempting to press herself further into Jace. But he was too solid, and, ah. It was too late. The aquamarine, water-frosted male was there, and Okkie gave up her endeavor and partially hid behind her lover’s strong arm as he dealt with him, with Fe’shi. “Er," She tried to shove a word in edgewise, but Javelin seemed perturbed, and Okkie did not want to be forced to take sides. “Um, Jace. He didn’t mean to upset you. He knows," And she looked pointedly at both males, her mismatched eyes blazing with intensity, “By your obvious bonds with me, that I am yours in every way. But I can still be his friend, right?" She hoped that was neutral enough, and just in case, she offered Javelin a small puppy’s kiss on his jawbone. She then gathered her courage and her pride, and slipped from behind his arm, out into the open water, facing Fe’shi. Okkie trembled a tiny bit, and then offered a choppy smile to her old friend. “Nice to see you again."
Fe'shi looked upon Okkie, peering into her soul with the one blood red eye that seemed to be as if a haunting memory to anyone that gazed upon it. He nods to Okkie and looked to her eyes as she did back to his. "I thought that you was lost to me. After the little problem that took place at the adcademy, I figured that our ties to one another would have been cut." He spoke as his eye would occationally drift to the other male then back. Shakes his head a bit feeling a bit foolish being in her presences again. "Does fate treat you well?" He asked as he looked upon her.
<font color=maroon>in.character - <u>javelin valimos</u></font> Javelin didn't like this other male much. Actually, scratch that, he didn't like Fe'shi at all. The other male seemed to presume that he could just swim up and strike a conversation - and controversy - without an invitation. When such was not the case. What if Okkie and Jace had wanted a romantic afternoon in the Sagar? Which wouldn't have been off of his list of possibilities. Maybe going back to one of the quiet little towns and eating dinner by moonlight alone or cuddling by a fire on the beach, curled within a warm, solitary blanket with his beloved. That wasn't going to happen, apparently. As Okkie spoke, Jace never moved. Not so much as a muscle twitched. <font color=maroon>"I would never dare to believe I could control who you were friends with."</font> He responded fluidly, his grip relaxing slightly. Jace still didn't like this other male, not by a long shot. It was quite obvious to the spy that Fe'shi didn't think of Okkie as merely a comrade, but as something more. The fact that he had used "my" confirmed that and Javelin hated him for it. Truly loathed him for feeling so much affection for the spy's mate. Obviously someone didn't know how to take a hint. Not that Jace really cared all that much if he was here, merely that it sort of got rid of the comfortable aspect for the afternoon that Valimos had hoped for. As Stormwing kissed the edge of his jaw, the male's lips curled into a warm smile, gaze turning lovingly toward the caramel-and-cream lady. There was no resistance as she slipped away from him. The female could stand on her own, as he well knew. If that Feshi took so much as a slight movement toward Okkie without the permission of Jace's mate, he'd find himself facing the business end of Javelin's favorite knife. The one he carried with him always, skillfully invisible, hidden beneath some fold of cloth. In a place none would know of or see. Not even fellow warriors had seen it before - they simply couldn't. Fe'shi's words were quite unwelcome, as was evident as the snowy male's jaw clenched in agitation and disgust. Couldn't Wong just act like a friend to Okkie instead of continuing this childish stuff that made him seem like a hatchling with its first crush. Besides that, the conversation pretty much got rid of him needing to be here. Which was an obvious hint, as well. Maybe Wong and Stormwing needed alone time? Ahaha, that was funny. Only if his lover was the one to ask for it. A smoldering anger burned beneath the surface of his eyes, but was heavily veiled by the emotionless black of his eyes, as well as a spy's trained, neutral gaze. Yet it was obvious he disliked being excluded from this conversation. Intentionally so. Even if Fe'shi didn't care, Okkie would. Javelin crossed his arms in front of his muscular chest, gaze flickering from 'Kie to Fe'shi, then back again.
Her lucid orbs of emerald and azure were trained upon Fe’shi as Okkie bobbed in the salty sea water, her tail stirring lightly behind her. It was apparent from her slightly tense stance, and the way her ears were drawn at a backwards angle, that she was nervous, but her gaze was steely and certain as it stuck to the male. Though she felt awkward, especially with her lover treading water at her back, just a few feet away, observing watchfully, she would not quail at this uncomfortable scenario. She would face it, was facing it, him, and the Twelfth would not look away. It was neither her character, nor her style. And so she floated just a few feet away from Fe’shi, holding herself quite still as she surveyed him, his masculine timbre leaking into her ears as they exchanged glances. “You were too quick to judge the situation, Fe’shi. I would never let a small discomfort cause a wedge in our relationship. I would have moved on, as would have you, but you disappeared and I have not seen you since. My life from that day forward has been all right, up and down as usual. How about you? What have you been up to since the last time I laid eyes upon you?” Okkie tilted her head a bit, very hawk-like in her mannerisms as she peered at the frosted male. When she was done speaking, she wondered if Fe’shi would venture to comment on her words. Not just reply, but actually remark, point out all the lies she had just spilled forth. After all, it was obvious, by her missing arm, that her life had been beyond simply “all right”, and she had changed in appearance since the pair had last come together. She wondered if he would press the issue. Not that she hoped he would. The banded femme glanced over her shoulder, throwing Javelin a quick, reassuring grin. But she noticed he seemed stern and wary, and she knew he probably wanted this short encounter to be over and done with, as soon as possible. In any case, she could sense his disomfiture, and his feeling of being left out, and she knew that she did not want to draw the conversation with Fe’shi out too long. She just wanted to say hello, how ya’ doing, good-bye, and then be outta there, in Javelin’s arms, perhaps, being whisked away to a seaside rendezvous. Or to anywhere but here.
A strong sense of lore flowed over his form as he looked upon his dear Okkie. Licks his lips lightly and looked away from her shortly over towards the blackening clouds of the East. Shakes his head then looks back to her slowly kneeling down upon the surface of hte water then looks to her lost limb then back to her eyes. "Well, I...shortly after disappearing when into the mountains to think shortly over the things in life that seemed so wrong. But came to find myself in a fix...finding that it was pointless to think of you as no more then a friend. Knowing that there was no way to win over your heart." He took a deep breath then places his hand against the surface of the water, then draws it back up in a sphere. Looks over at the ball of water then freezes it into a soild. Brings his other hand up and smashes it into the sphere causing it to from into a chilled crystal attached to a brown piece of leather. Takes it into his hand then holds it out to Okkie slowly. "But really I have been perfecting my abilities as a doctor and taking on a few more skills in the process." He spoke places the crystal on the surface of the water, hopng that Okkie would accept his gift. "So, what happened with your tender body? I mean it looks as if you came up short in a game of 'chance'." He spoke trying not to offend her in anyway. Lifts his eye from hers and looked upon the male once more casting a wicked glare then looks back down at Okkie. Hoping that he wouldn't go into pointing out everything that has changed greatly about her. Not to speak of things that has changed of him as well.
<font color=maroon>in.character - <u>javelin valimos</u></font> Javelin didn't like this guy, not at all. As a matter of fact, if Okkie hadn't been there, obviously friendly with this one, there would have been a blade present in this small meeting. Though he had never killed anyone, the training was still there, the abrupt knowledge that he could use it anytime he wanted quite clear in the pendragon's mind. Why the hell did they have to stay here? It would be better to just leave this Fe'shi as he was and go somewhere else. Maybe they should have left before the conversation even started, because it wasn't comfortable. Except, maybe, for the other male. Because it would seem that Wong was unaware of the fact that he was acting in an inappropriate manner before a pair of mates. The two were "together", couldn't Fe'shi see and respect that? Because he obviously didn't like it and had no problem showing it. Or sending Valimos those glares. As if the spy would suddenly back off if Fe'shi sent enough. Not likely. The words that Okkie spoke merely confirmed that something had occurred before. Probably Fe'shi admitting that he was in love with her or something. It was surprising that Valimos hadn't been shot down since, apparently, this other male had been. What made Javelin special? Maybe someday he would ask Stormwing and get a real answer, not just an "because I love you" sort, but a real, from-the-heart response. One of his hands balled into a fist beneath the surface of the water, about ready to punch something in frustration. He wasn't going to stick around here if the information was going to be so totally two-sided. As if he wasn't there. Which meant that he could leave, right? The anger that burned in his heart made that quite a possibility. Yet he didn't want to miss the facts and history about Fe'shi and Okkie. After all, he was a spy, information was his job. To gather it was his duty, though all of this was hardly important to the Graders or their rule. The reassuring grin from Okkie was met with nothing more than the slightest twitch of Jace's lips in response. Not because he didn't want to accept her assurance, but because it was hard to believe that there was anything to make this all fine and dandy. After all, this Fe'shi was highly unliked already by Valimos. It took almost all of the Pro-Grader's energy to contain the hatred he felt. Did Wong deserve it? Yes, as a matter of fact, the frosty male did. There were some things that simply weren't done. Bringing up tender issues - like love for someone else's mate - in front of said mate wasn't an intelligent idea. Apparently Wong didn't have much common sense. The words brought a stiff hiss from the lips of the pendragon, his demeanor hostile and cold as he turned spoke decisively to the pair, realizing that there was no reason for him to know that information. It would hurt, not help, so why bother? <font color=maroon>"Should I leave you two alone, then, since apparantly I am unneeded here."</font> Javelin commented in what seemed a casual manner, though the scathing undertones and the stiffened form of his body was enough to imply that it was a matter of far more importance than was suggested by the simplicity of the words.
Okkie had hoped that her outspoken neutrality would cool some heels, but such was not so. The longtime friend in front of seemed to radiate with an overabundance of affection still, none of it dampened by the glares and angry vibes Javelin was sending his way. It was obvious to her that these two would not become friends anytime in the near future, and they were definitely not making this uncomfortable encounter any easier for her. Fe’shi’s naïveté and Javelin’s over-zealous anger prevented any headway in this situation. And it just worsened when the lightly-tinctured male began to speak again, his eyes puddled with love for the femme. He even offered her a gift, a crystal on a choker of leather. Okkie stared at it as she bobbed in the little waves, feeling the hot anger leaking behind her from Javelin. She wanted to take the treasure, because she wanted to make Fe’shi feel gratified, but she knew such a gesture might cause Jace to do something rash. Thus, she merely floated, silent and still as she completated. Until, at least, she burst with frustration, throwing her single arm up in a signal of exasperation. “I don’t know!” She blurted randomly, her eyes cutting to Fe’shi. “If I take your gift, which is very beautiful, I would give the wrong signals to you, and to Jace. It would make both of you think I loved you, and not him. Which is not true! I mean, I love you, Fe’shi, in a platonic way. And Jace as my mate. Bah. Everything is so muddled here, and neither of you can just get a grip. Why can’t I like you both? Why can’t you realize you’re being too sentimental? Why can’t Jace cool down? Why, why, why? Tell you what, I’ll leave so you two can figure this out. Sort out your differences, and come get me when you’re through.” Sure, it was melodramatic, and Twelve even added a theatrical flourish to her words as she tried to convey her intensity. She was not as emotional as all that, but she thought the message was pretty concise — she was too tired of trying to figure out how to act in their company, so she would let them figure it out. She would just leave for a little while, yes. And she did so, tucking her tail low to express a hint of rage as she dove under the water, using her one arm to paddle into the distance.
Fe'shi's eye widen slightly as he looked upon Okkie. Shakes his head disagreeing with Okkie about how he still loved her more than a friend. Lowers his eyes away from hers and looks back down towards the charm that was floating in the water on the surface. Holds his hand out and calls the charm back to his hand, closing about it with his fingers. Lifts his eyes back up and notices that Okkie was gone. Looks about a bit then sighs looking back to the male. "So what are you going to do something about this? Or do you intend to just float there and do nothing?" He questioned as he looked upon the male then lowers his eye once more. Turns on the surface of the water feeling that his friendship with Okkie was nothing more then just a memory of the past now. So, does this mean that I'm nothing to her anymore? He questioned within himself again as he looked out over the waters, trying to locate Okkie. Shakes his head once more then closes his eye holding his hand up infront of himself. Vanishes from the area only leaving a ripple on the water surface. Reappears on an island that wasn't far off in the distances from where he was then opens his eye once more looking back at the seas. Opens his hand looking down at the crystal, then turns his hand up releasing the crystal onto the shore. Tide comes in and takes up the crystal and it carries the crystal out into the deep blue once more. Hope this charm finds you Okkie, because it will be all that will be of me to you. He though just standing there, just looking out.
<font color=maroon>in.character - <u>javelin valimos</u></font> Javelin had considered his words carefully before he spoke them. It wasn't so much that this Fe'shi fellow was here as the fact that Okkie seemed unaware that they were ignoring him, that Jace was unneeded. That was why he had questioned his presence. Maybe it was true, the old friends needed time to spend together, alone. Jace trusted his mate and wasn't worried about the idea that they might do something behind his pack. The compounded layers of emotion from his voice were mostly hurt, because the conversation excluded him to such a point as to make him more angry. Especially with the fact that Stormwing didn't even recognize the pain that was inflicted by such simple things as the fact that the conversation was twisted toward something that Valimos wasn't a part of, nor could he ever be a part of it, seeing as it was the past of which they spoke. Levelheaded, calming down, Valimos inhaled deeply, then exhaled, trying to calm his frayed nerves. The spy was usually so much more easygoing than this, the idea that he had lost control an unknown factor within this little drama. He hadn't, really. It was simply that the emotion was being channeled in such a way that his intentions were unclear, so that no one understood the way that he felt. That this was more about him wanting to get away from the painful reunion than anything. To let them be comfortable and speak together so that they could get things dealt with between them. Then, maybe, when Fe'shi knew the full truth of it, Valimos would be a more welcome member of this little meeting. One who could speak and converse as well, instead of being on the outside looking in. Watching his beloved being offered various things, none of which he approved of. Especially not the love that was apparent in Fe'shi. Okkie's words caused the male's ears to flatten dangerously against the head of the black-and-white male. Cool down? How did she expect him to react? Calmly to the presence of another who clearly loved - or, at least, had loved - Okkie. It was a terrible thing that she did by even keeping him here, by restraining him from diving under in order to avoid the hatred that seeped into his heart toward Fe'shi. Perhaps the other, frosty male wasn't deserving of such angry feelings. Yet he had invited them, with his own heated glances and glares. That wasn't Jace's fault. He had done absolutely nothing to deserve any of this. Had merely gotten caught in something that he wanted to get away from. Yet, it would seem, his torture must be prolonged, as now he was left with the abhorred member of the former trio. Not even the comfort of his beloved to soothe the ache of being near to Fe'shi. Why did he do everything wrong? Obviously he needed more experience with meeting ex-boyfriends or those who had wanted to be boyfriends, because he simply wasn't used to that kind of stress. Bah, in a way, he was angry at Twelve, the most. For she seemed to believe he had no right to be angry, then was outraged herself. What did she want him to be that he wasn't? Fe'shi spoke, then disappeared, thus living him a solitary figure in the Sagar, alone once more. Perhaps it was better that way. Maybe it was stupid of him to even accept and acknowledge such a feeling as love. Feet kicked slowly, as if he was unaware that they still moved, before he started swimming, back toward his surfboard. Maybe it was better if he left. Then, perhaps, Fe'shi would reappear and speak with Okkie. Then things could be settled between the two. Maybe Javelin should disappear altogether into the world of spies. Yet he hadn't. Here he was, lying across his surfboard, just lying there, letting all emotion drain out. Trying to forget about it all.
As inches, then feet, then yards were put between Okkie and the two males, the femme started feeling more relaxed. The tension around those two had been as thick as, or perhaps even thicker than, churned butter. She knew why such a thing was — Fe’shi was too open about his emotions towards her, and Javelin was angry about the other’s blatant lack of common sense. But the banded pendragon found it hard to justify for her mate, even if he was her greatest love. So what if he was upset, even wrathful? Couldn’t he give her ten goddamn minutes to deal with Fe’shi, without getting worked up, without becoming melodramatic and claiming he was being left out? Okkie dover underwater now, grating her teeth as she thought so negatively of her striped lover. She did not understand why the spy, usually so calm and laidback, let the frosty male get under his skin like that. Further still, why did he get so angered in such a small window of time? Even if Fe’shi was entirely too affectionate for his tastes, why hadn’t he simply been the more mature one, by clamping his mouth shut and acting like a true soldier? She wished had done that, even if it meant he would convey hurt feelings to her later. “It would have been better handled that way,” she said to herself, but her bitter words were drowned out, and each turned into a bubble that popped to the surface a few yard above her head as she swam aggressively in the underwater world. It was this same planet of aquamarine that distracted Okkie from her incensed thoughts, and she looked around with hybrid eyes. The sun’s yellow rays penetrated the clear water, sending beams of contracting and constricting light to frolic with her amongst the gently ululating waves. The beauty of it made the female forget her current predicament, and she held out her right arm to try and touch the weaving sheafs of light. Of course, she felt nothing but a slight increase of temperature as her mitt passed through the halo of illumination, but it was enough to make her suddenly happier. Screw those two, screw the world. She would stay here for a while, and play in the light. Only, she knew that was impossible. Even as a desire to remain here forevermore passed through her, Okkie darted to the surface. An exhilirating lung full of air greeted her, and she shook the salty wetness from her eyes as she peered about. An abrupt fountain of anger welled inside her when she saw the two males — vastly apart. Had they not the maturity level to deal with this, to help her knit a treaty betwixt themselves? Angrily, Stormwing struck the water with her good paw, and then she advanced towards the closer male, Jace, her ears laid back as she launched towards him like a javelin itself. “You. Why do you believe it is my place to include you in the conversation, but you are not willing to be friendly to him? How is that supposed to work? Why do you let such anger engulf you, love? You seem so different, when you are jealous and angry. Fe’shi is a friend of mine, a very demonstrative friend who likes to show his adoration of me. So what? Can you not handle that? I will not tolerate a mate who is not tolerant of my friends. I understand your anger, Jace, but I wish you could have bottled it up just for a minute, I wish you could have been civil for a short bit so that I could get our unexpected rendezvous with him over and done with, in a quick but hospitable manner. But you two had to be at each other’s throats over me. It makes me doubt myself. Have I not shown you, quite clearly, that I love you, every day, every minute, every second? In just a few short instants, you doubted all that, got envious of something that doesn’t even exist. Explain to me, the doubt. And then tell me anything you want to say. I know I have not handled this situation perfectly, and I want to know what is upsetting to you. Because, although I am angry with you right now, I still have my two ears to listen to your voice only.”
<font color=maroon>in.character - <u>javelin valimos</u></font> The spy was tired of life. Why had he let himself do it? Left himself open to be ripped up and torn apart. They had all told him that it would be like this. That he would do stupid things because he loved her, that he would be rash and angry. Hormones that had been ignored due to his training were now more freely in sway of his thoughts and actions. Yet Jace had still thought he was in control. Truly, it was a lesson learned. Now there would be more of the spy present at every waking moment, even when he was with Okkie. Because Valimos couldn't be out of control, not even for a moment. The coldness had to seep into his bones, to bury him, so that he could survive. Otherwise he would drown in this flood of emotion, buried beneath the tears that strove to come, though he shut them out. Breathe in, breathe out, keep on living. Even though he didn't want to, not anymore. Death's sweet embrace seemed like a lover's summons to him. All he had to do was close up his nose or dive to the bottom of the Sagar, let the pressure crush his lungs, allow the water to flood his nostrils, let the last thought be of Okkie, of his love. Rather than the anger that she surely felt toward him. The slap of water nearby caused the white-and-black male to sit up rather listlessly, peering at the sea to catch the sight of his caramel-and-cream queen breaking the surface. Surely now would be when the sparks began to fly, the anger manifested. His thoughts were soon confirmed as she approached with wrath on her face and the waiting jaws of a spiritual death fast approaching for Javelin. Ready to take him away from it all. Jace ran his fingers jaggedly through dark locks, eyes cold - but not hostile - as he peered at his mate. Emotionless, blank. Purely the spy that he had been before he met her, at least for the moment. Shutting off the pain that still cut him to the bone, especially since she spoke to him with such vehemence, the clarity of her words ringing harshly to his ears. Yet they were hollow in a softened fashion, as if she was speaking them without even trying to see what he saw, comprehend what he felt. Perhaps that was the problem. It was hard for either of them to see beneath the other's skin, to understand and accept what the other thought. As she finished, a sigh exited his lips, eyes cast toward the sky in calm consideration, as if the gods would send him a sign. Yet none came and his depthless black gaze returned to his lover shortly, the faintest of affectionate smiles on his face, though it was combined with a distinctly melancholy brush. <font color=#330000>"I don't doubt you. It isn't you that I worry about."</font> The Pro-Grader sucked in a breath, eyes cast toward the sky, trying to keep this honest, rather than making up excuses or lies. Much as his mind instantly clicked into such a mindset. There was a fretfully sad look to his face as he turned it back toward Stormwing. He believed her to be the love of his soul, his soulmate, so of course she would understand... right? <font color=#330000>"I didn't believe I had to be involved in the conversation, either. That is where you completely misinterpreted my words, love. If you two needed time to settle this past of yours, I had no place being there. I would have left except it would have been rude and then you would be angry at me for doing that. I cannot handle the way that Fe'shi acts, Okkie. No, let me rephrase. I can, I simply won't. As a spy I have to act emotionless or fake what I feel. Do you expect me to be like that with you? Do you want me to ignore his heated glares, the obvious fact that he has no intention of being polite toward me? That is not a friend, if he cannot be civil, in turn, toward me. I was civil, to a point. There are so many things that I didn't do and yet I get this lecture about the foolishness of my actions? What did you expect me to do? Nothing? I would have fixed it, too, you know. Tried to settle our differences. But he disappeared and I was disinclined to follow. Why? Because if he left, obviously that was more important than the matter of fixing this, to him. I wasn't about to force him."</font> There was a certain tinge of anger to his next words, though it was directed at himself, not his beloved. Perhaps partially at Fe'shi, as well, but it was clear Okkie was not the target. <font color=#330000>"Gods damnit, Okkie, I have never been in a relationship before, how the hell am I supposed to know how to react to things like that? It was painfully obvious that Fe'shi didn't like me, yet had I done anything to spark his anger? No. I did nothing to deserve the hatred he showed. Then there was the fact that he went so far as to call you 'his' and continued to act as someone who wished to court another. Highly improper in front of her mate. Or away from her mate, for that matter. I don't think that you can understand that, Okkie. That when he acted like that I wanted to kill him, merely because he had acted in such a way. A way that any male should instantly realize is as good as signing a death warrant."</font> The fact that he cursed at all was proof that there was more emotion driving his words than usually came with Valimos, the cool, calm spy. Javelin lowered his head, his voice choked with unchecked emotion. He had failed, this he knew. Had failed his love and his training. Bladed locks covered his eyes as he spoke the final words. <font color=#330000>"If I had the ability to go backward in time, it would be changed. Yet it is our mistakes that make us strong. So I can't say that it is regretted or that I wasn't completely unjustified in my anger. I'm sorry, Okkie. I had no right to show my anger and ruin this reunion with your friend. Perhaps, now, I should truly go. Then you and Fe'shi can enjoy your time."</font> Valimos was honestly blank, right now. So full and yet so empty with the emotion of the moment. He needed time alone, was so unused to this. To all of this. The emotion itself was unknown, something that he had never experienced before. It was so hard to be Javelin, he was so tired of it. Of being this teenager who still had emotions and hormones much as he wished he could get rid of them. But then he wouldn't have Okkie. The gods forbid that ever happen. Though he may have lost her already.
