  1. Happy Holidays everyone!

How are your breaks from work/school going? If any.

    Get any early presents?

being forced to stay with relatives? LOL

    *wiggles*

  2. It's officially Christmas for me and Steph =D And yes I've gotten early presents ^^ but I won't be opening them for another 6 hours. I like spending time with the family. It's good to be around the same table with everyone and see the tribe as one big funky group ^^ One thing about Christmas I like is that I don't -know- what I'm getting, even though this year I've pretty much been told XD You just don't know until that wrapping comes off.

As for breaks from school, HECK YEAH! I'm loving every second of it! Tell you what though, I've definitely set aside at least 4 hours every weekend evening, plus 20 minutes, to answer and conclude phone calls O.O'

Pardon the talk of work... I heard today that next week, 110 people have booked to go paintballing down here... Who in their right mind would PB in frost? Let alone 110 of them...

Anyway, I thought I'd throw that in there x) Yes, I'm enjoying this. I can wait for today, 'cuz I don't want it to go quickly.

All you guys rock, tc! xx

  3. My holidays have involved solving murder cases and killing zombies, as all good holidays should be, lol. Those were my own early gifts for myself, I've been video game deprived over the last 2 months :p

I've seen very little of my relatives this year, only my grandparents from my mom side, which I don't mind too much, it means less awkward dinner parties. I am however looking forward to Christmas breakfast, it's been the same this for the past 4 years at least.

I've also watched a strangely large amount of Mythbusters, but I think that's just been good timing xD

Hope everyone's Christmas is large amounts of food, healthy or not (oh the chocolate!) ;)

  4. LOL Alex, does your field sell the paint, Frost Bite? It is an amazing winter paint.

  5. Happy Hallo... wait minute... oops wrong holiday... Merry Xmas, is what I meant... :)

  7. Ah yes, Christmas. The celebration of Jesus's birth, best excuse for stores to make things cheaper, and the reason why my mom's birthday has been statistically deemed "The Most Depressing Day of the Year" (True Fact. Heard it on TV. January 24 = Most Depressing Day.) Sadly, I don't celebrate Christmas. And every year, I get to put on my Scrooge hat and rant about why my Christmas sucks.

Once again, Christmas is the most boring day of the year for me. I stay at home with not only 'Nothing to do, but also with No One to talk to since everyone's at some party that consists of only family, and it would be weird for me to crash. So, I was home all day, helping my mom make bread and cake and fish like we were about to go on a picnic in the winter. At least I can't complain about having no food this Christmas.. because I'm pretty sure I did last year... and the year before that.

One good thing happened though. My two weeks are up and I was able to retake the Rules Advisor exam. I needed an 85% to pass and ended up getting an 84 the first time (I hate State-Based Effect Questions). Because I failed, I had to wait two weeks (coincidentally, two weeks from that day was Christmas. Today!) This time, however, I got a 92. So, now I'm an official Rules Advisor for Magic: the Gathering. Just a few more steps until I get to Level 2 Judge and start getting prizes and getting paid to tell people how to play a card game. ^ ^

    Happy Kwanzaa everybody!

(No. I don't celebrate that either..)

And tomorrow, I have been invited to making a Ginger Bread house. o_o

  8. I AM ECSTATIC. I'm part of a multi-religious family (my father was raised Jewish but is an agnostic, my mother is Catholic, my little brother is Jewish, and I'm Wiccan) so we celebrate Hannukah, Christmas, and, for me, Yule. I got an acoustic guitar, Guitar Hero III for the Wii, new colored pencils, a few sketchbooks, some giftcards, a bunch of clothes, and... I was going to say something else, but now I forget. :/
