As you can obviously see, the name's Hakuma dōshi! (Which means "White mage" in Japanese, just a fun fact!) You may call me, Hakuma, Doshi, HD, or anything else you may think of. I don't mind! I can't exactly remember when I started roleplaying, but I know I've contributed to many different forums. Unfortunately, long for very long periods of time, though. I'm still trying to fix that habit. I first found out about Shadowlack when I was looking around the Iwaku forums as usual and decided to look at some of the affiliates, until I found this place! It looks magnificent, I just hope this creative place isn't dead! I've noticed the lack posts, and seeing "latest posts" dated back to last year. I hope to create characters and roleplay soon~
Hi Hakuma! Nope, we're far from dead. :D The community itself has been strong for over a decade. Our in character boards however, tend to wax and wane as people's focus drifts between roleplaying, world building, lurking, or generally being preoccupied with life. Shadowlack is more of an internet home foremost to most people than anything else. :) So hopefully you're able to find a home here too. Feel free to ask any questions if you have them. I know just how hard it can be to take those first steps.
