Teh t1m3st4mpX0r: Day 24, Tessera (Autumn), 81377 (3) OOC Note: This is after the events that took place in the staff room. Your character may have heard about it through hearsay. Feel free to use this information to shape your behaviour in the classroom. in Teh karakht3r: Kumet entered the large, well-lit classroom and gazed about it with a forlorn sigh. The maintainance workers, apparently, had once again done nothing to attempt to clean it up. The floor was littered in candy wrappers and notes which were passed so enthusiastically until the bell rang. She grabbed a broom from the corner of the room and, humming in the meanwhile, began to sweep some of the larger pieces of garbage to the corner of the room where a rather large pile had been accumulating for the past week or so. The tawny femme bent over, sweeping the pile into a dustpan, then dumping it into a trash can nearby. She dusted off her paws, wiping them on her dirty, torn up jeans, stained by dried blood from events earlier in the day. She glanced at the clock - only five minutes until the students arrived. The 'dragon would have to work fast. She set about re-arranging the desks in to their neat rows, erasing the scrawlings from them quickly with soap and water. One note in particular caught Kumet's eye. She began to read it out loud to herself in a hushed tone, "Kumet is a bi..." - she wisely stopped there. It's natural to be hated by students, she reassured herself. They don't like being taught. Especially in health. She knew the feeling - she had never done well in school. In fact, unbeknownst to her employer, she had failed out of it, having preferred partying to studying. She could sympathize with the anger one felt when they had to spend so much time in a class which taught something one already knew, like how to eat properly. Today, she thought, she might breach a more touchy subject, if for nothing else, just to keep their interest - though what to talk on, however, evaded her mind completely. For the second week in a row, she'd failed to write up lesson plans and, to avoid waisting class time, held "seminar" style classes where she talked on about nothing in particular. They had gone over surprisingly well, in fact, and she was contemplating continuing as such for the remainder of the year. Abruptly, the bell rang, interrupting her train of thought. The creamy brown femme sat at her desk, leaning back in her chair and placing her feet up on it. Better get thinking then. Students'll be here any minute.
::Kantoz came from the far end of the school, closing his eyes as he walked, trying to remember his next class, then it hit him, he had health, so he turned quickly around the next corner, making his way to the health classroom, not know what teacher nor the peers that would be joining him in this next class, Kantoz hated school, but he knew he would eventually need it to get a decent job, as Kantoz looked down the hall, smashing into other 'dragons as he walked, he noticed the health room, he walked up to it and put his large paw onto the door, slowing turning the knob, he has his head facing down, his wings were spead open as he entered the class, seeing that he was alone and the teacher was not in sight he walked to the back of the class room and took a seat at the very back::
That was the last time she left her door unlocked. Sephiroth leaned on the wall of the health classroom, arms clutched to her chest and eyes closed. A folder was clasped in her digitigrade paws, with a few scribble markings atop its surface. Her breathing was heavy, as if she had just run a quarter mile; though of course, she had. Through her own mistake — or perhaps negligence, her dorm room lay unlocked, and within moments some young punk had struck. Instrument cases everywhere, sheet music astrew. And her own prized pieces, stolen. Seth hadn't taken this lightly, either. She had stampeded through the halls like a leopard, snatching her bright red folder from the teen's clutches with a snarl. And now, she was about to be late for her next class, but she had made it. Sephiroth shifted back to a quarupedal form, and filed the prized folder into her shoulder-sack. Strolling into the room lethargically, she selected a seat int he middle of the room, glancing up at the teacher with neither malice nor joy. More of a relieved realization.
Down the halls came a loud thunder of shoes against the ground. Students jumped out of the way casually as if this was an everyday occurence in which, indeed, it was. The feet belonged to a white 'dragon with a panic stricken face. Hybrid gold and blue orbs darted around frantically at the faces in the hall. She had to get to Heath early or she would be toast. Kumet's toast for breakfast to be excat. She clutched her backpack tighter and skidded around a corner. The frantic female finally reached Kumet's classroom to find herself the third student there. Moonbrook had ran all that way for nothing. Groaning, she walked to her seat and sat down, pouting. She was almost lost in her oversized black hooded sweatshirt with the school logo on it.
ooc: didn't sign up for health in the registration thingie in the front foyer... But then, it only had five spaces. I'm sure it's fine if Laz just nips up there... ic: Laz padded into the room. First class, he thought to himself. Unfortunate that it'd be health. He felt just a touch self-consious here in the class... not knowing all the other 'dragons and all... Whatever. Laz took a pencil from behind his ear and walked over to a desk. This particular one had tiny figures of pendragons sketched into it with pen, as well as a good quantity of gum smushed on the bottom. Rolling his eyes, Laz pulled out the chair and sat down. "Good as any," he muttered, slinging his backpack down.
::Kantoz just sat at the back of the class, looking up every now and then to see the others enter, he hung his wings from beside him, showing that no one was to come near him or there would be problems, he just sat in his chair, clicking his large claws against the tiles beneath him, he was impatient, and since there was no teacher around he was tempted to just up and leave, there was no point wasting his time sitting around there doing nothing, he could be out in the halls causing problems or reaking havok, he just thought about everything and everyone in the classroom, just wondering who the teacher of this class maybe, he never took the time to find that out before he took this class, he didnt care he just wanted to get the heck out of school and as far away from this place as he could:: does this class intend on actually starting today!?!?!? ::Kantoz yelled from the back of the room, catching the class' attention, he just growled and rolled his eyes::
