Timestamp: Day: 23rd Month: Dyo Year: 81378 A small red 'dragon sat in the Gyakusatsu. Blue optics closed, he sat cross-legged. No emotion crossed his face at this point in time.
A male 'dragon of a black hue stalked through the wild, overgrown plants. He liked walking, it filled his spare time. There was barely any breeze down here, the heavy foliage prevented it. His optics darted about his head madly, scanning his surroundings. He stopped. Dead still. He could see something red. He was almost sure it was a creature. But what creature. Prey or Hunter. He pondered whether to investigate or not..
a tiny red flitter swooped through the trees and landed on Tsuj's shoulder. Tsuj awoke from his meditation. He smiled at the little flitter and took a message off of its leg. The message read: "Flitter breeder: There will be an exhibition on Tria 31st. Please attend." Tsuj pocketed the note. If he knew anything, It was by Thi, a friend of his. Tsuj heard something prowling amoung the trees. What it was. he had no idea. He just hoped that that something wasn't going to eat him. He stood up slowly and began to walk towards a tree. He hit his foot on a rock and yelled -OUCH!-
Xjae stretched out his skeletal wings, luxuriating in the warm air whipping through his dark cyan-blue fur. It was rare that he enjoyed a flight, especially in winds like this, due to the very nature of his wings. They seemed little more than the skeletal remains of gigantic bat wings grafted onto his shoulders, but they were so much more. Iridescent gossamer membranes stretch from one bone digit to the next, like dragonfly wings. They seemed too weak to hold up the large male pendragon, but the appendages were Fronima-born and Fronima-strengthened. His pale pink eyes traveled down to the forest below him... Was that Gyakusatsu? Had he really flown over the Samundra Ocean in less than a day? Huh. Must have. Well, he didn’t want to test his wings further than what he’d already done... Besides, it was getting a little late. Almost dusk, actually, and he didn’t want to fly over Samundra at night. At the same time, he didn’t really want to spend more time that necessary at Bhim, either. Maybe he could stop at Aurius. But that required getting to the portal, so he’d have to land anyway. His tail flame somewhat muted with dread, Xjae tucked his wings in close to his body and spiraled down towards a clear spot among the trees, back claws extended to provide maximum friction. He landed with a soft thud and crackle as the twigs beneath him caved under the pressure of a tiger-sized ‘dragon, even a slim and almost greyhoundish one as he. His fur melted softly into a muted green, his pupils dilating in the lower light and irises turning a shade of light lavender. Xjae’s skeleton wings slurped back into his shoulders, crunching and rattling as they did. The young elemental mage cum weaver winced as he felt the Fronima greedily suck the power back, but shoved the feeling aside and went it search of a good spot to spend the night.
Thamier padded along on the forest floor, seeming to be blissfully unaware of the surrounding terrain, his thoughts in his past, of the year he had spent alone out in the wild and with it, his memories of his long gone parents. His nostalgia didn't last long as he was brought out of it by his awareness that someone was there, not to mention that it was very loud and could quite possibly be heard for some distance. Thamier's tail flame dimmed as he started to head towards the noise...
Tsuj looked around. His tiny 7-year old face showed fear. More were coming. Now he was sure what he heard was one of those monsters. He began to shake and hugged his little flitter tightly.
Xjae’s pointed ears shot straight up as he heard the echoing cry and the subsequent crunching of twigs and leaves. His first thought was that it was some kind of outlaw—after all, this was Bhim. His tail flame burned bright as a twisting wire of adrenaline and pure defensive anger burned through him. But, he reasoned with himself silently, no rogue or assassin would make quite so much noise, even if they thought they were alone. Thinking thus, his tail flame dimmed somewhat, though the fur down his back bristled into a coarse mane from the dregs of the adrenaline rush. It was definitely a pendragon. He raised his black nose to the air and drew in a long breath, mouth slightly parted so the sensitive organs on the top of his mouth could “taste" the air. Yes, definitely a pendragon, an one no older than he. Satisfied as to what was out there, Xjae was more than willing to let the little beast be. It was the niotie’s choice to be out here, and though the dark green pendragon was a responsible adult, he wasn’t responsible for the little hellion’s well-being. The sun filtering down from the trees alit upon the large ‘dragon’s fur as he turned around, highlighting every spine of his pelt in high contrast. Color came boiling up through the hair as the scent of another ‘dragon, this one older but definitely younger than he. His fur settled into a deep, brooding red, his eyes a burning pale sea-green. He didn’t like it. Not one bit. Two boys, alone in Gyakusatsu, for Fronima’s sake, one possibly hurt and the other sneaking about like some half-bit con. He wasn’t in charge of their well-being, but he really did have responsibility. Damn common sense... With a chuff of annoyance, Xjae set out to find the two boys and, if at all possible, drag them by their ears back to civilized land. (OOC: Are y'all planning on following number fourteen in the RP Etiquette ? Yah know, the whole order thing? Cause that's why I waited for Tsuj to post.)
Character:Veajka Veajke had just stepped out of his home, the home of his family for four generations, and was walking around back to the family's personal forge. It was time to stack all the wood that he had chopped yesterday. His father and mother had left for one of their trips into the main city some several weeks from here, carrying a wagon load of the wares they had smithed. As he rounded the corner towards the backside of his house, he began to hear commotion. It didn't sound, to Veajka to be just common wildlife noises, so he called out, half not expecting an answer, "Well met?!"
The noises were getting louder as he got closer. Thamier then noted the appearance of two more things out there. He dimmed his tail flame just a little bit more, lay down in the underbrush, pulled some branches over his body, hid his tail under him and closed his eyes and began on focusing his awareness to determane what was out there. It was some pendragons apparently, one was very young and the other two were older. He lay very still and waited.
Xjae drew in a sharp breath as he drew within seeing distance of the young pendragon. There were two other males out there, all drawing in, and he wanted to get to the little tyke first. Tail flame an anxious pale yellow, the dark pendragon started moving faster, not caring whether or not he was heard-- the strangers probably knew he was there, anyway. He was a weaver, not a hunter, possesing only rudimentry fragments of his mother's stealth. "Boy! No not be afraid, I'm a friend," he called out mentally, slowing to a stop several feet before the frightened nioti.
(OOC: Dunno, but we can skip him for now. How bout giving people a week to post before moving on with the thread?)
OOC: sounds good to me. but maybe we should let X_Dragon_Gaurdian_X be the one to decide, as he is the one who started this thread.
[OOC] SOunds like a plan. [BIC] He heard the commotion continue, but no response at first, then he heard the voice of another pendragon. Male. Definitly older. As the voice didn't seem to be hostile, he Veajka decide it best to just continue his work. He want to have his chores done and his forge stoked and hot before the twilight waned to night. He walked back the the shack, and began to pick up arm loads of wood from the split wood pile, and walked it over to the cold forge, stacking it neatly in a single clean high row...
Thamier lay very still. One of the pendragons had moved off and one had moved in on the younger 'dragon. Quickly and quietly, he got up and moved in on the two pendragons. When he came within viewing distance, he saw them: one was very young and a red color. The other was the oldest of any present. He stopped just shy of (what was hopefully) their sight and waited to see what would happen.
(OOC) I don't I was just waiting my turn. I don't know whats going on. I was rather enjoying this thread.
