For those of you who don't know me, my name is Sami--been on here since junior high, and RaL was more or less my starting point for PbP. :3 I've been on and off the past year, mostly because of a lot of personal shit--struggling a lot with gendery stuff (I've actually got a consultation to start on T in... four hours). I just finished working in the birds division at the NMNH in DC this summer and I'm now in Philly living with my primary partner and looking to go back to school for scientific illustration (mostly ornithology-centered). I'm queer and Rromani and have holes in my face. That's it, more or less. Anyways--lovely to see everyone! Hello! :3

I do believe you've become the second recipient of our zombie medal. ;) I really hope that your consultation goes well. *hugs* Scientific illustration is bad ass. It can take a lot of patience. I know people who have drawn and painted the individual scales for fish... months, and months of work! ^_^
