Her chips were untouched and she just pushed them aimlessly as a few girls giggled at the nearby table. Her aqua orbs flicked up to see their perfectly made-up faces staring at her, Great, instantly, she felt self concious of herself, shirking down into her seat a small growl escaped her vocals. OOC: Character: Sabato Teslo Clothing: casual blue jeans and a medium brown shirt with nothing on it. BIC: Sabato walked through the hallways, looking at note he had recently received as he walked. The other day, Sabato had been practicing his archery and biokinesis in the courtyard. Someone had side-tracked him and he had accidentally left his equipment. According to other dragons around the academy, someone had picked up his equipment and taken it his dorm for safekeeping until the owner came for it. Sabato had recently spoken to one of his friends who claimed that he knew who had the equipment. Sabato's friend had written down the room number and name of the dragon. The trouble was, Sabato hadn't looked at the note until after his friend had left. Sabato stared at the note intently, trying to decipher the writting. A dragon walking in the halls ran into Sabato's right shoulder. "Watch where you are going, fool," spoke the arden aggresively towards Sabato. "Sorry bud," replied Sabato, unnerved, still focused on his goal. If Sabato had deciphered the note correctly, then the dorm with his equipment was straight ahead to the right. As Sabato neared the door, he didn't notice the arden from earlier give him the one-fingered salute. The door to the room had its keys in the door. Sabato knocked with his left hand and slowly opened the door with his right, speaking as he did so. "Excuse me, and I apologize for disturbing you, but I was told that you had some equipment that you had picked up from the courtyard yesterday." Sabato spotted the thill (Tira) who was in a posture which suggested that she was in a mood of melancholy. Sabato thought that his friend had told him that the dragon who picked up his gear was an arden. Maybe the thill was his girl friend or something...

She was very surprised to see it open, usually she locked her door. But upon the dragons enterance, she saw the keys dangling from the lock. However, she had expected it was one of the guys next door - she wasn't visited by strange ardens - and swinging herself off the bed, Tira quickly grabbed a shirt that was lying on the floor, Fastening it in the middle to hide herself. Being able to think about something beside how she might look, her attentions were on Sabato, Having heard what he was looking for, she tried to think if maybe the guys next door had his belongings. " i dont have anything of anyones, what ya lost? She asked, her tail still twitching in annoyance, but not at him. She was somewhat glad for the distraction, Standing up finally and smoothing down the black shirt, she walked towards the door, wiggling the keys out of the lock and depositing them in a deep pocket. She had heard that one of the guys had found a crossbow or something, and thankfully it had been Theo who found them, otherwise the room might have turned into a battle ground.Spuinning on her heels she turned slightly to look at the meek arden, and pulling a thoughful face at him, she dug the keys from her pocket once more, Theo's room should be open she thought, looking for the key for next door, finding the silver door opener, she smiled at Sabato, giving a guesture for him to follow." "Thanks a bunch, sweetie," spoke Sabato cheerfully to the thill. "If you'd like, you can call me Sabato," he added. As Sabato waited for the thill to show him to the room with his equipment, he looked out from the room into the hallway. With his left hand against the wall for support, he watched as dragons moved back and forth, some exchanging words, more just getting to their rooms--or from their rooms. What drove these dragons to continue their meaningless existence? Sabato was no philosopher, but questions such as this always passed through his mind from time to time. His thought process spiraled back to the thill who was now helping him, the thill who seemed saddened. "Sorry doll, I don't want to seem like I'm prying, but you really seem to be troubled. Is there something...?" Sabato's voice trailed off. Although he was an extrovert by nature, his twin, Sabata, had always advised against interfering with the personal affairs of other dragons. ["You're a Teslo, you come from a family of bounty hunters. Don't waste your time with others unless you have to, you'll only get yourself into unwanted trouble,"] Sabata had always said. Sabato never chose to be a Teslo. Sometimes he wished he didn't have this life. He wanted to forget. He wanted to live his life and enjoy the company of others, not see dragons as either a bounty or a civilian. Life is cold, colder still without the friendship of others.

Her eyes looked and peered at each key carefully, before flicking it to the last one - and also the tip of her tongue poked out as she tried to decifer the keys apart.Finding the correct key again and holding it a little more carefully, Tira gave the arden a sheepish smile, before nodding at his name. "I'm Tiramitsu, just Tira is good though" Ducking under Sabatos' arm into the hallway, she stopped to look at the sudden business of the place, and with a look at her watch, she knew why. It was time for the classes to shuffle and start in differnet places, she didn't have any classes now, her afternoon was free from the worries of student life. But Tira must have bbeen standing there for a while, for Even the arden she was supposed to be helping noticed her "moody" state.Pulling yet another sheepish smile, one ear pricked up while the other lay against her head, she jingled the keys walking the short way to the left of the hall where a door covered in all sorts of arty graffitti lay." It's just been one of those days, but this is where your stuff will be" And with a quick twist of the keys, the door was open, the sun streaming in through the wooden blinds on the small window. Tira flicked on the light, and this time she remembered to take the keys with her. Looking at the relatively tidy room in front of them she looked at the closed door of Theos' room. Padding lightly to it, she half expected the door to be open, but with a few shakes of the handle and more than a couple of pushes. It was apparent that the door to Theo's room had been locked." "Ahh, doing worry about it, Tira," spoke Sabato waving his hand aside, his voice absent of distress. "My next hunting class isn't until Fidpui anyways." Sabato walked back towards the entrance of the dorm again, not too far from where Tira was. He was about to turn and say goodbye to Tira before leaving. However, something made him change his mind. Maybe it was that Sabato was already a bit fond of Tira, or maybe it was because he felt sorry for the thill who seemed to be down in the dumps. Whatever the case, Sabato turned back to Tira not to say goodbye, but to give her a choice. "Hey, I was going to head to a local pub to chill out with some of my siblings for a bit. You're welcome to come along if you want," spoke Sabato warmly. Behind him lay the cold, harsh reality of Ramath-Lehi.

To go off and do his daily things. But when he stopped, she looked at him quizzically. He was asking if she wanted to go with him, to the local pub... she hadn't seen him there once, and she usually went at least once a week. But then she was usually preoccupied with the others. "umm... sure, i don't have anything planned... So why not." Her grey ears perked up, a little sparkle hiding at the back of her eyes. She could do with a drink, a nice white wine or those kola cube drinks she loves so much. Oh but she would need her wallet and she really needed to put on a better top than what she had flung on this morning. She had a baby yellow one in her bedsid table, it'd be perfect. and if she doubled it with her black cropped jacket, she'd look somewhat feminine for once. Not that she was trying to impress anyone, but, the outfit looked so nice in her mind, that she just had to wear it." I'll just need to get my ID and change my top to something more suitable...i won't take a moment. Back to my dorm for a second then?" Ushering the Arden out from the boys dorm and into the hall, she locked the door with another quick twist, tested the door to see if it had locked, and pushed her door open. And for once she was glad she had tidied that weekend for everything was more or less spotless, except for the odd top on the floor. But they were'nt dirty." Do you often go down to the pub? or only to see your siblings?" She asked, as she rummaged in the cabinet, she found her yellow top instantly, but finding the right black jacket to go over it was hard. All of her jackets were black. Aha! she had found it, and with a pull and a little pass to her other paw she scampered into the bathroom, but the door was slightly open so she could hear his reply. She wriggled out of the baggy shirt and the green tank top, plopping them in the wash basket, still leaving her top half bear *she trusted the arden wouldn't peer* She deftly applied the black kohl around her eyes, making the almond shape more apparent, and their spectactular color shine. Tira blinked a few times, an audit twisted to the side, still listening. Taking one final look at the top, she slid it over her head, pulling it down and smoothing it down so it sat nicely. However i didn't leave much to imagine, but tira like her top half...she was just shy about her legs, and she had a jacket to make her more comfortable. Well the jacket wasn't all that warm though, it was a thinnish silk cotton jacket, with full length sleeves but it was cropped so two thirds of her top was showing. But that was her appearance sorted, darting out of the bathroom and patting her pockets for her wallet and phone (which were there) She sighed. It only took her five minutes, a record for her."i'm ready" </font></font></td></tr></table> </td></tr></table>
When Tira replied, Sabato's tail began to wag; Sabato was pleased to hear this reply. As Sabato followed Tira to her room, he wondered about what his siblings would say when Tira showed up with him at the Teslo's meeting spot in the pub. There was a good chance that Kama would be bothered and Sabata would stare daggers at Sabato for doing such a thing. [They need to learn to lighten up.] thought Sabato, chuckling slightly under his breath. "Do you often go down to the pub? or only to see your siblings?" asked Tira to Sabato. "I'm really not the type of dragon to hang out at pubs to be honest. I only go whenever I get a call from Kama, my brother, and he tells me to go," Sabato replied, keeping a reasonable distance from the bathroom in which Tira was changing. Sabato dismissed a lustful thought about Tira after he finished replying. He continued, "I really spend most of my free time practicing my bowmanship skills and talking with a few aquiantances from time to to." The rest of Sabato's free time was spent helping his siblings research and track bounties. Even though Sabato spoke about the details of his life more than his other siblings did their own, he knew it was wise to keep comments about tracking bounties to himself. Even those who he knew Sabato best were never told of where the largest percentage of his free time was spent. Some dragons did become suspicious about what Sabato did. Most assumed he did something illegal, or something he was embarrased about. Sabato's silbings didn't really have the trouble of making up stories for their friends, though, because the other Teslos didn't have any dragons with whom they chatted with and got to know somewhat. Although, Jahhar had made some friends before he met Kama and Timaro and got into the bounty hunter business. "i'm ready" Sabato's train of thought broke. "Alright then, let's get going." --- Sabato finally was outside of the building and walking along the road to the pub. Tira was supposed to be following him. Now that the muddle of the dragons in the building wouldn't drown out sound so much, Sabato asked Tira a question. "What do you enjoy doing with most of your free time?" Sabato kept walking as he spoke, walking under and then outside of the shade of various flora. Fauna made some noises too, cheery noises. Sabato noticed many different things. His hunting class had taught him about keeping his senses sharp and alert so that when he was hunting, he could track down his prey more easily. However, Sabato was also listening intently for Tira's answer.

It was a shame that he didn't seem to claim any friends he had. Unusual too...but then if he studied so often...then maybe he didn't have time.So there she stood, her paws clasped lightly arond each other, as she waited for him to go out first. He signalled to go out, and locking her door with another famous twist, and a deft drop into the pocket. Sabato had started to wander off, and she jogged a little to catch up, sticking close behind until they came to the campus grounds. The road was finnally clear fo all the cuffufale of other 'dragons and Sabato took the conversation first...what did she do? "Many things, between studying for Psychology and my elemental summoning, I'm a sucker for computer games...though it doesn't help my silly phobia" Perking up her ears suddenly, Tira stopped to look around. She was sure she had heard something, but it was only a lowly tweet of an avian of some type. Her own fearful thoughts about rapine coming to get her were washed from her mind, as the pub lights could be seen. She caught up with him again, a little closer than previously. But it was begginning to dusk, and these things creeped her out when it began to darken." I'm really doing alot of extra time for my summons class, i lose control of what i summon, all i need to think of is feeling cold, and poof! a fire orb appears... but my tutor says that i have a good backlog of power to be able to do that." What you drinking then?" </font></font></td></tr></table> </td></tr></table>
OOC: hopefully the twins' names will not be too confusing. =p BIC: Sabato had been listening intently to Tira's replies, holding himself back, as he was tempted to interrupt her and babble about the things he did or had done. Being so extraverted, Sabato loved to talk and was always biting his tongue, trying to be more polite when he was around others. However, being in the presence of a dragon whom he was eager to get to know better helped him to keep his mouth shut and listen. When the two reached the pub, Tira asked Sabato what he wanted to drink. "I dunno, I haven't given much thought to it. When I go to places like these, I tend to chat more than drink, if you know what I'm saying." Sabato entered and then looked back to Tira. "You are interested in elemental summoning? Maybe you and my sister will get along well, she studies pyro-magic." However, as Sabato turned back to look around the pub for his siblings, he only spotted Kama and Sabata, his twin. Sabato turned back to Tira "I don't see my sis' yet, but I'm sure she'll show up. Come on though, the other two are..." Sabato hesitated. "They're cool. I'll introduce you." Sabato walked over to Kama and Sabata. The two Teslos sat at a rectangular table in the back of the pub. There were six seats total, one on each end and two on each of the wider sides. The table was close to the restroom, and the kitchen was not far from the table either. The main bar where dragons sat down on stools to order drinks spanned the whole left side of the building. At the end of the bar in the back was a door to the kitchen. Then, moving to the right was the table with Kama and Sabata. Father right from that were the restrooms. Along the right side of the building were windows and tables. The middle of the room was mostly clear. Neither Kama nor Sabata seemed to aknowledge Sabato as he approached them. Kama and Sabata were sitting at the ends of the table. The manner in which they did so was informal, but they were able to watch eachother's backs. Sabato took a seat on the back right side of the table and motioned for Tira to come and sit by him. "Good evening guys, where are Timaro?" "Timaro will be with us in a few moments," replied Kama. Sabata's cold gaze studied Sabato, as if Sabata was suspicious that Sabato was not actually Sabato, but a dragon impersonating him. "Who is your friend?" "Her name is Tira. I met her just this afternoon at Janardan. She was trying to help me get some of my stuff back." Sabato looked to Tira and then motioned with his hand. "Tira, these are my siblings, Kama and Sabata." Sabata seemed to flinch when Sabato named him so openly, and his ears layed back against his head for a few moments before relaxing back into their normal position. "Good to meet you," spoke Kama with a dry smile. "Do me a favor Sabato and let us know the next time you plan on bringing company." Even though Kama hated the fact that Sabato had brought a complete stranger to meet with him and his siblings, he still had the decency to be social. Motioning with an arm for Tira to sit by Sabato, even though Sabato had already done so, Kama spoke, "As Sabato already told you, I am Kama. Its good to meet a new dragon..." Kama paused for a bit, thinking of something to say to keep things flowing. During his pause, Timaro walked out from the kitchen and sat down across from Sabato, near the end closest to Kama. Kama broke the silence and spoke up, "I would like you to meet my sister." Timaro smiled, more friendly than Kama. "Good to meet you. My name is Timaro, and you?" Evidentally, Timaro had not yet realized that Tira was one of Sabato's friends, not a dragon wanting to hire her or her siblings to kill someone.

Maybe his sister would have a softer aura. If not...well she'd just have to not insult them or ride their anger in any way. Not that she'd be trying. Just that suspicions were alredy high about her, and with Kama's tone, it was obvious guests weren't the usual happening. It was then that she heard the footsteps from the kitchen! another female at last! So this was his sister... She plonked herself down, her ears placed against her skull with the thoughts running through her mind, assesment after assesment, she scanned the looks, the posture, even the tiny details that they wore... All she could do was nod at the small talk from them. "I'm Tira Vaghern, i'm not here for businesssss...." Tira slapped at her jaw, her paws pulling her mouth shut from spilling anything else. How stupid could she have been! Her ears remained flattened as the icy chill dipped deep into her stomach, that was when she saw the bright firey orb floating in the middle of the table.Tira increasingly found her nerves clamiing her jaw shut, as she began to try and make the orb disappear, It was her fire she was sure of, but it just floated there...uncontrolled."I'm so sorry..."She squeaked to Sabato, her body fixed to the seat she was sitting in, her tail was wrapped around the table leg tightly, just waiting for something to happen, once again her mouth had said something she hadn't wanted to say. But she had to regain her cool, or that orb would do something horrible. Just breathe.... her ears peeled away from her skull, and her paws unclenched from her jaw. A single grey digit pointed to the orb which began to fizzle out until a tiny flake of ash floated to the surface. Sorry...that happens a little to often...the orb thing, um, maybe i should just...go..." </font></font></td></tr></table> </td></tr></table>
Sabato watched his siblings who were already making an failing attempt to seem friendly towards Tira. Things didn't get better when Tira accidentally summoned a fire orb. Sabato's siblings all focused their attention on the orb. Kama slowly reached into his pocket for a knife, afraid that Tira was prehaps a hired assassin, he was ready to kill her if need be. Timaro focused her attention on the orb, being a pyromancer, she would dispell it if it made any sudden movements towards any of the Teslos. Sabata slowly but silently slid his chair back away from the table, ready to lunge at Tira if she made any further aggressive movements. Sabato wasn't worried, of course, but felt badly for Tira. He felt even worse that he had brought her here. Sabato was afraid one of his siblings would kill Tira. The tension at the table mounted until finally, Tira dispelled the firey orb. Everyone let out a sigh of relief including Sabato. Sabata snatched the flake of ash from the air before it hit the table. Sabata examined the flake which was now dust and then dropped it to the floor. Sabato was about to suggest that he and Tira leave, but he didn't have the chance. While the Teslos had been focused so intently on the fire orb, some other dragons had entered the pub and escorted many of the other civilians outside who were willing to leave. Three dragons had entered. Each was dressed suspiciously with long dark trench-coats. Seeing some of the civilians outside starting to call officials to the scene, the assassins moved swiftly towards the table with the Teslos and Tira. One assassin hid behind the bar, another, behind a table on the other side of the building. The final assassin walked towards Sabata's back. Sabata had noticed the three figures enter the building, but Kama quickly spotted them as well. Kama pulled a throwing knife from his pocket, and as the assassin approaching Sabata stopped behind Sabata and began to draw a sub-machine gun from his trench coat, Kama threw the knife. Although Kama had intended for the knife to reach the assassin's throat, it instead struck his left shoulder. Just as the knife flew by Sabata's head, he jumped up onto his chair and spun around to face the assassin. Just as Sabata pulled the knife from the assassin's shoulder and jammed it into his throat, Sabato shouted at Tira to get down under the table for cover. Just as the first assassin was falling to the ground, Sabata grabbed the gun and the other two assassins came up from where they were hiding. The other two assassins were only armed with handguns, but Sabata sprayed a volley of bullets towards the one behind the table. Timaro, who had by now summoned a ball of fire, turned and threw it at the assassin behind the bar. Both assassins ducked before having a chance to fire off a shot. Timaro's fireball flew into a keg of some strong alchoholic beverage which caught on fire. The assassin behind the table was not well covered. Sabata unloaded the rest of the clip and chewed through the table the assassin was trying to hide behind. A few of the shots went through the table, but none killed the assassin before Sabata had used up the clip.

It was a throwing knife that started the chaos, everyone moved including her, to a position. Though tira had placed her self some way from the rest of the group. The flurry of bullets hurt her ears and she flattened them againste her head once more. Sabato shouted for her to under the table, but she didn't go anywhere near it, slipping behind the large chairs, she started a silent chant, bringing some sort of insects to life in the form of fire. She heaard the cick of a finished clip, and poked her head out from her hiding place. The swarm of fire insects hissed liked the shrill of a boiled kettle, as she sent them on their way to the assassin behind the holed table. This would be a gruesome death for him... The swarm flew across the room heading straight for the offenders eyes, burning them till they popped like a kernel, and then into his throat they went, burning his insides until they finally burned into his heart, and instantanious death after the gruelling pain of feeling them boaring into the insides. And poof they turned to ash in his body. "oh god..." she whispered to herself, realisation hitting her heard and fast. The remaining assassin came up from behind the bar and fired off a few shots before ducking back down. One of them nailed Sabata in his left shoulder. Fortunately, the shot missed Sabata's bone. However, he fell back off of the chair from the impact of the shot. Timaro glanced at the burning keg behind the bar and conjured the fire from it towards her. Some of the fire rolled off of the keg and slithered towards the assassin. However, the assassin moved out of the way, so Timaro redirected the fire straight at him. The assassin, realizing that he was outgunned, quickly dodge Timaro's fire again before rushing out from behind the bar. Kama tried to throw a knife at him, but missed. As the assassin opened the door to the pub, about to run out, an official stepped out from the crowd of dragons gathered around outside and pointed a gun at the assassin. "Hold it right there, mister." The assassin, seeing that the official was alone, moved with uncanny speed, grabbing the official's hand which was holding the gun. The assassin put the official's hand into a lock and put enough strain on it to sprain it. The assassin pointed his own gun at the official and fired two shots into his head before running past him. No one from the crowd of dragons outside dared to stop the armed assassin. "Let's get out of here before more officials show up," spoke Kama, he hated trying to settle a situation with the officials "They never seem to understand," Kama always said. "Sometimes you get convicted for trying to defend yourself because you defended yourself so well, it appears as if you were the attacker." Kama motioned for the others to follow him into the kitchen and out a back door. All followed but Sabato who moved over to where Tira was. "Tira... I'm so sorry, I should've said something, but-but I was afraid of what you might've thought," Sabato said, he looked at her. Poor lass, curled up into a ball, scared to death. "I'm running, I don't want to deal with the officials. Some of them even hate my family. You don't have to come. Maybe it would be better if you stayed. Its your choice though." Sabato looked around nervously, no other officials had come... yet. Sabato hated having to speak and leave Tira like that. He didn't want her to get a bad record with the government either. He shouldn't have taken her along at all. He started running after his siblings out the back door. What a day.
