4 Mia (Winter), 81380 Who; Kael Zareh & Seung [This is the first thread leading to; http://shadowlack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4526http://shadowlack.com/forums/index ... topic=4526 ] IC Kael sat on the school bench, another dreadful day, another dreadful class, but finally it was over and he could sleep, his fag of a brother was in the school, which was so fawking obvious, and it was getting pathetic really. He was chasing Joo-eun, Joo-eun was avoiding him, his brother was chasing him but he was ignoring his brother, but Joo-eun and Kage were talking now...he wasn't a stalker, he just had "connections." He watched the new student Seung standing under a tree, his hood covering his face, but for some creepy reason, Kael felt like Seung was watching him...or maybe he was just paranoid...but the guy looked fawking scary. He was frickin like twice Kael's size, not to mention his built was just dangerous looking. He must be one of those Takula's or whatever I've heard about.. That could be the only explanation. But besides all that Kael was bored as fawking hell, there was no freaking excitment in this damn school, nothing to do and it didn't help that he couldn't focus on something for more then 2 minutes before getting bored. He needed to do something FUN, and damn he was desperate.
OOC: Could you throw a day on your timestamp? Thanks BIC: Kama wandered around outside the school. A walkee-talkee rested in his back pocket. Nothing here, nothing there. School dragons here, school dragons there. Another average day at school. Kama wished he hadn't been talked into what he was currently doing... Kama had a friend at Janardan who worked as a security guard. His name was Jie. Just the other day, Jie had some "vision" from a fronimic spirit that trouble would break out in Janardan today. Kama wasn't completely convinced, but Jie begged Kama to help him keep an eye on Janardan. Jie was convinced that there would be some terrorist attack and he would have to diffuse a bomb or who knows what. Kama had his doubts that anything would happen at all. However, he agreed to help Jie who reminded Kama that Kama owed him a favor for the last time Kama needed Jie to keep an eye on a project... Kama took out his walkee-talkee and sat down on a nearby bench before putting his head into his hands. He took a deep breath and then slowly let it out. "Have you found anything yet?" spoke a voice over the walkee-talkee. Kama moved the com-device towards his mouth. "Nope, nothing... abnormal." Kama waited a few moments. "Did you see any place in your 'vision' where the danger occured?" "Shh-shh, not so loud, I don't want to cause a mass-panic." came Jie's voice on the other end. Kama shook his head and sighed. Sometimes Jie acted like his job was part of a mission to help save the world... "I don't know exactly, I wasn't paying attention to where the event was occuring, I just remember that something bad happened somewhere in Janardan." "Brilliant..." Kama got up, put the radio in his back pocket again, and started walking around the building again for the fiftieth time since this morning. "Keep your eyes peeled," heard Kama from his back pocket. "Of course," replied Kama sarcasticly to himself...
Kael's gaze shifted over to Kama; now he was positive he saw that guy a couple of minutes ago walking around the building...and then before that too...and before that. He raised an eyebrow and stared at the guy; that cause Seung's dark figure to quickly gaze over at Kama in curiousity, which gave Kael the oppuritunity to dive under the next table and get away froom his constant..freaky stares. Now..if other peple were staring at him..who cared, he was trying to "blend" in with the environment in order to not get noticed by Seung.
Khuta was almost dying. Dying of boredom. There was nothing to do. All that the noiti had been doing these past few weeks was study, do homework, play guitar, and back to studying again. It was like the circle of life. Except, more boring. The courtyard wasn't doing much to help his boredom either. Couples were making out, weird study freaks were agonizing over their work, others were just walking in circles. Khuta sighed and continued to make a rough sketch of music. He needn't to play the guitar to get the right notes. He had it all in his head. After a couple of minutes, just as he was about to throw his pencil on the table and declare that he was being born into a boring world, he felt something brush his leg. He looked under the table and saw Kael. He blinked once, twice and then... May I ask what, exactly, are you doing under my table?
OOC: Just got a PM from CV, everyone is here, let's have some fun. BIC: Kama fell into a mood of melancholy as he turned the corner of the school building. The day had been wasted. It was nearly two and a half hours till sunset. Even after sunset, Kama had about 2 more hours of patrol duty before he could leave the school. Kama gritted his teeth together. Suddenly, Kama heard someone running from behind him. He quickly turned around and saw Jie. "Kama! I remember which dragons were involved in the crime!" Said Jie, almost shouting. So much for keeping things hush hush... "Yea?" replied Kama, a sip of sarcasm in his voice. Jie quickly motioned for Kama and went back around the corner Kama had just turned a few seconds ago. As Kama turned the corner, he saw Jie pointing to a takula as well as a dragon with grey and white spots on one side of his body and white on the other side of his body. "Those are the?" asked Kama skeptically. "Yea!," replied Jie quickly, his voice almost shaking in excitement. Kama wanted to settle this matter quickly. He began approaching the grey and white dragon slowly. "Let's... interrogate them and see if they are up to any good," spoke Kama grimly. Jie just nodded. Jie sounded as if he was going to hyperventilate as the two of them neared Khuta. As Kama got closer, he noticed another dragon under the table that the grey-white dragon was sitting at. When Kama and Jie were within two feet of the dragon at the table, Kama noticed Jie shaking like a broken down motor boat. Yet, suddenly, Jie rushed foward and pulled out his flashlight. Waving it like a menacing weapon, he shouted at the grey-white dragon "YOU!" Kama put a hand on his own forehead. "YOU ARE UNDE-" Kama quickly grabbed Jie by the shoulder. "I'll take care of this," spoke Kama in a low voice. He was half-tempted to crush Jie's shoulder. Kama let go of Jie's shoulder instead. "How are you guys doing today?" asked Kama casually. He was sure that every dragon on this side of the campus was staring at both Jie and him. Kama wished he knew how to dissapear in broaddaylight, but that wasn't a trick that he learned when he went to school....
Kael waved his arms around frantically when Khuta asked him what he was doing, "Shhhh, guy watching me, whoa..that doesn't sound right but that's not what I mean, I mean-" He was suddenly stopped when some 'dragon started waving a flashlight at him, 'What the hell?' He was about to respond, annoyed of course, but then the 'dragon who came with the well...freaky one, acted as if all this was normal, and asked how they were today? "Retards..." He mumbled outloud, before groaning and clamping his hand over his mouth. Everyone was staring at them now, Seung as well. Seung was giving the group a half amused, half arrogant smirk...thing look. He sighed miserably and banged his head against the bench; "I'm dandy, just dandy, cheery, peachy, you know like I am every single day." He grumbled. Today just wasn't his day, he was spacing out frequently, he was lost and he was making absolutely no sense; he was confusing him...like right now. 'Wha?...'
Khuta waited for the guy under the table to finish his sentence. But he never did as the day got weirder. Bright light found its way to Khuta's eyes and he was temporarily blinded. Loud voice met his ears and for a spilt moment, he thought he was under attack. His red tail flame blew up a little bigger. When he regained his sight, he heard the pendragon under his table muttering something. Then he looked to the side. There stood a pendragon holding a flashlight, the one responsible for blinding him, and another more calm looking one. The brown coloured stranger asked how he was doing today. Which was quite odd, considering that Khuta didn't know this guy. "I'm alright..." he stated slowly, as his eyes roamed around the courtyard. Almost everyone was looking at them. Couldn't blame them. There was a pendragon under the table, a weird looking mismatched guy with green hair, and a pendragon holding a flashlight who looked like he has ADD. The only normal one here was the brown stranger in front of him. Or whom Khuta thought was normal. He turned back his attention to the olive green guy under his table. "So are you just gonna stay there or come out?" He then turned to Kama. "Is everything alright? Is he alright?" he pointed to Jie.
"Ah, things are just great. My friend Jie and I are just getting to know a few of the dragons here on campus," spoke Kama casually as he looked around at nearby trees, even though he was trying to contain himself from lashing out at Jie for Jie's stupidity. Then he leaned towards the dragon who asked about Jie. "By the way, don't mind my friend Jie, he..." Kama looked both left and right before finishing. "He forgot his meds this morning." Kama stood straight again and gave a smile to the dragon he had just spoken to. "I've got to go, nice meeting you guys. Bye," finished Kama as he walked away. Jie, who had overheard Kama, was instantly angry. As Kama turned his back and walked away from the school dragons. Jie grabbed Kama by his shoulder. "What is wrong with you? You just told them my name and now they also think that I'm on medication," spoke Jie, raising his voice slightly as he spoke. "They probably would have made that assumption whether or not I told them," replied Kama in monotone voice. "What about the takula over there?" asked Jie in a demanding voice. "He was also in my vision." Kama rolled his eyes before wandering over to the takula. "Whats up?" asked Kama in a lighter tone of voice than he had been using when speaking with Jie.
"Well to be perfectly honest, I'd rather stay down here, but ya' know there's no point anymore," He said, nodding over in Seung's direction, "'Cause he like sees me now," He added whispering. Seung on the other hand lifted an eyebrow when Kame approached him, he didn't want to socialize, but apparantly it just wasn't his day. "Nothing." He grunted, closing his eyes as he leaned against the tree. 'These kids are better then no kids, but to get them to actually do the magic, without me telling them about it. If everything goes according to plan...I can get them to test out the magic...and if they're still living, then me trying it out would be easy.' Seung knew it wasn't going to be easy, not to mention he didn't really "form an idea," he just knew what he wanted, he didn't know why he wanted it, but he was craving for it. Power, he loved the feeling of power in his hands, but when it involved death possibilities, it wouldn't hurt (him) to get others to "test" it out before he did.
Khuta turned and took a look at whom Kael was talking about. He scanned the Takula figure as Kama and his companion walked towards the student. "Is he new?" Khuta asked when he turned back to look at Kael. "I've never seen him before." Feeling no mood to compose anymore music, he grabbed the sheets of paper and stuff them into his leather guitar case, which was conveniently used for carrying small packets of food too. Then he chuckled. The stranger was still under the table. "Do you need help?"
Kama smiled and nodded before walking away. Jie was bothered. "Nope, nothing, nada, zero, zip," whispered Kama to Jie as he walked away. Jie, however, stayed standing in front of the takula. Desperation had taken him over as he quickly asked the takula. "You aren't planning on doing anything illigal are you?" Kama was dumbfounded. Jie had actually asked one of the worst questions you could ask someone. Kama didn't want to be associated with Jie any longer. He walked away from the entire scene. Agreeing to help Jie was a mistake. There was no doubt about that anymore. Kama walked around to the other side of the school building. "Kama, where are you?" heard Kama from his radio. Kama simply pulled out the radio and turned it off.
Seung opened his eyes, and shot a glare in Jie's direction; "If I were you, I'd mind my own buisness." He knew that wasn't the smartest things to say...but that question caught him off guard, but then again when you look at him, he did probably look like he was up to something. "You know, nosey 'dragons like you. They're sometimes left in those caves in the Manik Swamplands, and you know the funny part? They don't come back." He hoped that the 'dragon would fall for the bait; he had hidden a book on daemon and darkness lore in there, he never tried any of the magic out, he wasn't crazy. The magic could probably kill him if he didn't do anything properly, but if these kids were to test it out first it would really help him out. Kael crawled out from under the table and took a seat beside Khuta; "Yah...apparantly he's new, Seung or something. First Takula I've seen, and personally I'd rather not get to know him,"
"A Takula?!" Khuta exclaimed, turning back to look at the giant. He had never seen one before. "Hmm... not as big as I thought." he said to Kael when he turned back. Khuta was expecting a 25 feet reptilian with sharp razor teeth and those blahs. But as usual, Khuta let his mind go astray. He took out two bars of chocolate from his guitar case and handed one to Kael. "Want one?" "You can give your friend one too, if you like." he mentioned Seung. Khuta just love to get a nervous respond from strangers. So he was trying this guy out.
"Hah!" replied Jie haughtily. "You dare speak to authority in that manner?" He shook his head, a little nervous about the takula and then quickly spoke. "I will be keeping a close eye on you, young one." before walking away. Jie went around the school again, on constant patrol. After a while, Kama turned his walkee-talkee back on. How many more hours until he was finished with this job?...
"Thanks and no way," He grinned taking the chocolate, he heard the conversation...if you could call it a conversation...between Jie and Seung, 'Manik Swamplands...' He started thinking about it, "Hey, do you know where the Manik Swamplands are?" Curiousity killed the cat...but then again he wasn't a cat. His eyes trailed toward a female walking toward them and grinned, "You fawking stalker," She hissed walking toward Kael and smacking him, "Ow..what are ya talking bout' you found me..." "Pfft...like I didn't see you following me around yesterday," She muttered, there was still tension between the two, but the past was the past no one could change it... "Oh...sorry if I interuppted," Joo-eun smiled sheepishly at Khuta.
Khuta took a bite off his chocolate bar and chewed slowly, thinking of the places he visited. "Well, yeah, I do know where is it. But I've been there only once." Unlike Kael, he wasn't listening in on the conversation between Seung and Jie. So he thought it odd that Kael would want to go to a place like that. "Why?" Khuta never got his answer because on the next minute he turned, Kael was getting a slap on his face from a pretty thill. He watched the two talk and figured that both of them might have been closer than now or that they have feelings for each other. Khuta wasn't sure but the scene before him does seem amusing. Interesting... "Don't need to apologize. You haven't interrupted anything." he replied Joo-eun with a lopsided grin.
As Kama was patrolling, he heard Jie running up behind him. "Kama, Kama," spoke the arden, loudly enough for Kama to hear. "It is true, my prophetic vision is coming true!" Kama turned to face Jie and gave him a skeptical look, but didn't say anything. Jie kept speaking. "You remember that takula? He was talking about Manik Swamplands. I remember something in my vision about that place!" "Jie," Kama replied an instant after Jie had spoken. "Was there anything in your vision about me kill you?" "No, why?" spoke the dragon, a little puzzled at where Kama was taking the conversation. "Well, if you don't let me do my job, without babbling about your prophetic vision, I might just..." Kama stopped himself and looked at Jie sternly. "Just shut up about your vision. I don't give a care, and I won't give a care if you keep rambling on about it." Kama turned to leave and keep patrolling. Jie reached out his hand to stop Kama but didn't. Kama's short speach to Jie seemed to calm him down. "Yea... maybe you are right Kama..." mumbled Jie to himself as he resumed his patrol.
Joo-eun smiled and bowed her head, "So Joo-eun, wanna get back together?" Kael asked casually, "Kael..." "Alright, alright, sorry," She shot and annoyed glance toward Kael, before sitting down between the two; "So I heard you saying Manik Swamplands you a/ss, are you frickin' crazy, you know how UNsafe places like that could be for people like us?" Joo-eun hissed glaring at Kael, "So you still care about me," "So anyways, I don't remember asking you your name," Kael looked at Khuta sheepishly, "Name's Kael," "I'm Joo-eun," Joo-eun chirped in grinning
So the two did have a history together. He smiled at the two as they bantered. He nodded as they introduced themselves. Pleasure to meet. I'm Khuta, he replied. After a moment's thinking, he said to Kael. You know, I do agree with what Joo-eun said. Manik Swamplands isn't really a nice place to be. Why are you interested in it? Out of Character

short...post. sorry.

As Kama walked around the school, Jie's words moved through his head. Manik Swamplands... why would the takula have spoken about Manik? Maybe that was where he was born. Why would he be telling that to Jie though? Prehaps the takula was trying to interest Jie into going into the Manik swamplands. That would certainly make better sense. Kama was content to rest his concience on this new theory that he had developed. At least he was content for a short while. For what reasos would the takula say Manik? There are certainly more dangerous places around Ramath than Manik. Kama suddenly bumped into a dragon. "Watch where you're going," heard Kama. "Sorry," replied Kama swiftly. Kama really needed to focus on his job anyways, not what Jie had been babbling about earlier...
