IÂ’m not looking for really long post or anything but at least a paragraph or two. Any one can join. I have a few ideas for the future of Eka, so this is only the beginning. She is going through a hard time so anything could happen.

The minute pendragon walked down one of the dormitory halls looking once again for her room. She knew perfectly well where it was and at the moment her mind wasn’t set on finding it just yet. She had told her self that she was just running to her room to pick up some books for her next class and she would make it back in the short amount of time that was given between the bells. The first one had just rung a few minutes ago and there were a fair handful of ‘dragons still lingering in the halls.

She walked on her two back paws in her biped form, she had started to get used to it after the incident. She had a black shoulder bag that hung beside her filled with the books she had used for her morning classes already. She wore a pink fitted t-shirt and black pants. As she walked she kept her head down, not able to look at the faces of the other students. It wasnÂ’t to hard being so short, most didnÂ’t even notice her theses days. She didnÂ’t speak as much and spent lost of time a lone in her room staring at the ceiling.

She knew that in a few weeks she would be moved from her 2 bed room dorm to a single since she no longer had any one else living here with her. She was in no hurry to move, it would bring back to many memories. But maybe if she did she wouldnÂ’t have that empty space where she sister used to be.

It had been almost a whole month ago since the day she had lost her sister. On that day that her dreams kept returning to. She had been told to bring the news to her parents and thatÂ’s what she had done. The 5 day period of mourning then took place. What made it even harder was the fact that there was no body. Some didnÂ’t believe because of that fact and they would no longer speak of it. It was her mother and father who had it almost worst of then her. There was so much that her sister had promised that they would do together. But there time was lost and taken away from them. Her sister was no more then a wish and a prayer.

She finally came to room 4302. She leaned against the door head hitting the door first. She fumbled around in her pocket looking for the key. After a few moments she couldnÂ’t find it and got a little agitated. She then dropped down to the floor and started to go through her bag that was now spilling out into the hall. She reached and grasped what she thought was the key and pulled it out. It wasnÂ’t the key, but it was a flat piece of metal with some kind of writing on it. She scowled at it and tossed it carelessly into her bag. She didnÂ’t want to take it any more. Life was to hard to take alone she couldnÂ’t do it.

<span style='color:green'>“Mist? Why did you have to leave me? Where are you now?"</span> Her voice almost like a whisper her small voice didn’t travel too far. A few tears started to drip from her eyes as she leaned against her dorm door, still it was not open. And the second bell rang.

Tes shuffled along the hallway, nose in his backpack, searching for his pencils. He stopped in the middle of the hall, fishing about in the many compartments of the bag.

"Ah-HAH!" He mummbled as he pulled the elusive objects out of his bag. Now he just had to figure out where his next class was... He looked around, then groaned, in his wanderings he had ended up in the dorms. Still quite new to the school, he looked around anxiously, hopeing to find someone who could point him in the right direction.

His gaze settled upon a small female pendragon, leaning against what he assumed to be the door of her room. For a moment he felt a surge of nervousness, a common reaction for him when ever he had to speak to the opposite gender. Steeling himself, he trotted up to her before his resolve had a chance to weaken.

"Uhm, hey, do you know how i ca-" He cut himself off when he noticed the few tears running down the side of her face, "Ah, exuse me, but are you alright?" He asked worriedly, stooping over so he could look the female in the eye.

  3. a small gray 'dragon fluttered through the halls.. hoping not to be noticed by the teachers with their class doors open. Kailea trotted past the door and heard the teachers shuffling to the door to see if they actually saw something... namely her. Her "bigger then her body, always get in the way" white fluffy wings flopped around while she ran.

They dragged on the floor and bent the end feathers. she winced and tryed to puch them back <span style='color:gray'> man.. i am only 10 and my wings are still out growing me... it doesnt make sence..</span> her thoughts trailed off as she triped over her wing and fell flat on the floor.. in front of a couple of 'dragons.. She groaned and sat up.

<table class=ooc><tr><td>Yep, but just to tell both of you, at times I might be slow to reply but I should get on a few times a day.</td></tr></table>

At first Eka just stood there and didnÂ’t think that the male was speaking to her. She sniffled a few times trying to hold back the tears but in the end it was no use. When he move more into her line of sight she was a little surprised and couldnÂ’t help but show it on her face. She was never good at hiding her feeling. She raised her black spotted paw and tried to wipe away the still falling tears.

She looked up at him, being so short, with her green eyes. She didnÂ’t recognize him, but no a days she didnÂ’t recognize many pendragons any more.

<span style='color:green'>“Yes…I’m…fine."</span> She tried to sound okay but it didn’t come out that way. She tried to stand up a little straighter, not that it made her look much taller, but a slump in her shoulders that was not there before was noticing.

It was then that another female fell down right near them. She looked over at her a little nervous and also a little embarrassed at the same time. Normally she would have smiled but at the moment those muscles didnÂ’t seem to work.

  5. He put one hand on the small pendragon's shoulder. "Are you sure you're okay...I mean, from where I'm standing it looked like you were crying..." He trailed off, realizing he was possibly prying too far.

He straighted up, "Er...Hi there..." Tes said to the white winged pendragon, surprised by her sudden appearance. He removed his hand from the first female's shoulder and held it out to the new arrival. "Need a hand up?" He asked, all the while keeping an eye on the green eyed female.

  6. Kailea looked up, embarassed, and took his hand. she got up and fixed her ruffle fur. she gave up and smiled at the others. <span style='color:gray'>thank you</span> she said the the male. <span style='color:gray'>sorry about that... my wings get in the way and i trip alot.</span> Kailea tryed to smiled without making herself look like and idiot. <span style='color:gray'>oh! hi.. i'm Kailea..</span> she said as she put out her hand.

Kaiela noticed the other 'dragon. She noticed that tears had fallen onto the floor already... <span style='color:gray'>is she.. alright?</span> Kailea turned to face the female. <span style='color:gray'>are you alright?</span> kailea asked.

  7. When the male put her paw on her shoulder Eka flinched. She had never done that before. She was so jumpy these days she didnÂ’t no who to trust any more. He seemed nice and that he seemed care a little. To his words she nodded.

<span style='color:green'>“I was, and I won’t try to hind it."</span> She bent down and started to clean up all of her school supplies that she had spilled all over the hallway. She slowly started to push them back into her bag. When she was done she stood back up to be facing the female who had tripped. Who was also asking if she was alright.

<span style='color:green'>“I’m…better now."</span> She wiped away the last few tears that were making her face wet. But her eyes were still a little blood shot. But she did feel better now, they had both taken the time to speak with her while they could have just walked by. Sure Kailea had just fallen in front of them, but maybe there was reason behind it all.

She glanced down at her watch. She was too late to make it back to class without getting in trouble. Besides she still hadn’t found a way into her room without her key. She back over at the two ‘dragons standing with her.<span style='color:green'>“Do either of you happen to know how to open a door with out a key?"</span>

She knew it was possible, she had been with some one else when they were sneaking through un-used dorms and he had been able to do it. Then again he was also a spyÂ…

  8. Tes cringed and ran his hands through his bangs. "Eh-heh, sorry, I'm more into Daemon lore than lock picking." He scuffed the toe of his shoe against the floor, suddenly feeling very useless. His face screwed up as he tried to think of a way to- Syl! Oh damnit, I can't remember if I still have it He threw his backpack onto the floor and began to dig through it furiously, pulling out a large assortment of odds and ends; a sock, three chewed pencils, a crumpled up wad of paper, and a small plushie hit the ground, before he found what he was looking for.

"Will these work?" he asked pulling out a small leather case. He popped it open to reveal a set of small lockpicks. "A friend gave these to me, but I'm not sure how to use them..." He offered at length, holding up the case.

  9. Kailea smiled. She was glad the other girl was okay. Kailea had had the problem of being locked out.. many times.. she jumped up and raised her hand. <span style='color:gray'>i have had some expeirince with lock picking.. considering i had to learn to get out of the hous many time... well and to get back in.. </span>Kaiela smiled a wide grin and pulled an old lock pick that she had found a couple years ago.

Kailea walked up to the door and poked the thin metal pick into the keyhole. <span style='color:gray'>hmmm... lets see... hmmm... ahhhhh.. ok...</span> she mumbled. she took the pick out and bent a round curve into it. she stuck it back in the keyhole and fiddled around with it. she heared a clink of the two metal peiced come together. she twisted the pick... {click} she pulled the pick out and smiled. she turned the knob. Kailea bowed and pushed the door open.

    <table class=ooc><tr><td> sry about spelling mistakes..</td></tr></table>

  10. Tes shrugged when Kailea pulled out her own lockpick and opened the door. He shoved his own picks back into his bag, and gathered up everything else that had been strewn around him in his search.

"That was cool, I've got to get you to show me how to do that sometime." He said to Kailea, standing up and straightening his black hoodie and cargo pants. He blinked suddenly, realizing he hadn't introduced himself.

"Eh, I'm Tes, er, Tesreail, it's nice ta meet you two." He said, sticking his arms through the straps of his backpack. "I'm new to the acadamy and i don't really know anyone here..."

  11. Kailea nodded. <span style='color:gray'>Same here. i am new. the only person i know is my brother.. Hiei.. he's found a dorm already.. but i havent.. i really need to find one before my brother flipps and sends me out on my own.. heh i have been sneaking into his dorm at night and sleeping on the floor. he doesnt know.. so i didnt say anything ok?</span> Kaiela laughed and looked around. she could hear distant foot steps coming down the hallway. Kailea rolled her eyes and ran into the room. <span style='color:gray'>teachers coming.. or worse principal...</span>

  12. Tes laughed quietly, "Sure, won't say a word. Yeah, I've found a dorm, but i'm currently alone. A friend of mine said there were coming to the academy and i was thinking we could be roomates, but i havn't heard from them in a while." Tes said. He leaned back against the wall, smiling slightly, he was sorta proud that he found someone, least of all a female, he could talk to. In a sense he was sorta surprised that he wasn't as nervous has he usually was around femmes. "So you havn't found any dorm at all?" he asked, shoving his hands into his pockets.
Wonder if s- He jumped slightly at the sound of footsteps. "Shit, I missed my class..." He looked at Kailea and Eka, "We need to hide before we get caught skipping classes." He whispered hoarsly, worried his voice might carry down the hall to whoever was approaching.

  13. Kailea pulled him and Eka into the room. <span style='color:gray'>you need to react faster! or you'll get caught! </span> She shut the door and crouched down. she looked under the door and saw the feet stop at the dorm room. The knock on the door startled Kailea. She cupped her mouth so she woudn't yelp. the teachers stoped knocking and waited. after a period of time the person walked away and went down the hallway into a classroom.

Kailea sighed with relief. <span style='color:gray'>well that was just a little two close for my liking.</span> Kaiela looked around the room. it was big compared to her size. the beds came just above her waist. Kailea shook her head with grief. <span style='color:gray'>damn... why am i so short? why me.. the only girl in the family... my brother is tall and i had to be the short one..</span> Kaiela hopped onto the nearest bed and streched out. <span style='color:gray'>ahhhhhh.. sooooo comfy! i can't wait till i get a dorm.. it'll be soooo nice!</span>

Eka grinned at the male as he pulled out the set of lock picks. But her spirits dropped a little at the sound that he did know how to use them. But her smile reappeared as Kailea jumped to the rescue. She watched closely as she worked with the metal tools and the door clicked open. She had to learn how to do that.

When they heard the teacher coming down the hall way she was about to invite them in but they seemed to already have that in mind. She was a little offended to be pulled into her own room. But she listen to there stories closely, she always liked to know what was going on in the school. Or at least she used to. She then took a deep breath, she didnÂ’t want to fall into another on of her slumps again, not in front of others.

As the two made themselves comfortable she put her bag up on the table in the middle of them room and emptied it out. She wouldnÂ’t need it until after lunch now. The room of a bit of a mess. EkaÂ’s school stuff was all over her table, most of Mist old stuff had been cleaned out except for a few things. The bed on the right side of the room where Kailea wasnÂ’t sitting hung a fairly big sword on a mantel. Students were alound weapons for weapon classes but not out in the hallways or in other classes. Ever since Mist passing that had been where she kept it. It had a few markings on it that Eka couldnÂ’t read. She also didn't often like to touch it to get a better look. Also there were a few class books on a shelf that Eka didnÂ’t even read, they were there for emotional support.

There was also a small two seat sofa at the far side of the room, that didnÂ’t often get used. The table was also along that wall. In the corner was a wooden desk. The walls were a soft blue color and the ceiling was a light grey. Also on the ceiling a few light hung.

<span style='color:green'>“You think your short. When my sister was six feet tall I was only a foot, now only a foot and a half. The runt of the family."</span> She didn’t really mind being short, it came in helpful quite often. <span style='color:green'>“I guess that you guys can hang out here until lunch. The names Eka by the way."</span> She then also took a seat at the desk that wasn’t as messy as the table.

  20. Tesreail looked curiously at the sword on the mantel, and then around the room. Heck of a lot cleaner than my dorm... he thought, thinking back to the clutter that enveloped his own room.

    "Nice ta meet you Eka."
Tes said, leaning against the now closed door. "Uhm...sorry if I'm being rude but...why were you crying?" He asked, watching Kailea flop down onto the bed. "But, yeah, don't feel pressured or anything, I understand if you don't want to talk about it...
