Outside, the rain was pouring down in literal sheets of water, sliding smoothly across the glass dome of the Temple. When the lightning flashed, the inwards of the Temple were forced to cast long, ominous shadows here and there, even lightening up the darkest of corners where cobwebs stood, sending the nocturnal occupants into hiding with each flash. And it was on the first day back in Mansukh for Gemini since she had left to go Janardan a couple of years back, and she hadn't even gone home. A few things had changed in Mansukh, and a few things hadn't changed. Her family probably hadn't changed from the letters she had been getting and reading.

And therefore, she had come to the Temple to at least clear her mind of things. It wasn't swamped with pendragons on that rainy day, and it was nice and peaceful as always, just a lot more quiet and reserved. She imagined that the storm outside had something do with it, but she was more or less in a trance of thought, green eyes peering over the thin rim of her glasses to watch a flickering flame on a candle. It was cool inside the wall of that temple where she was sitting, the air damp and her skin underneath her fur, and her hackles were slightly raised. Sometimes when she came to the Temple, Gemini couldn't help but feel a little bit paranoid, as if some great old spirit was going to grab her and try to suck through the wall... somehow.

She sighed, setting her back against that said wall, listening to a distant chime ringing out it's little tunes. She smiled, looking down at her hands that were folded there in her lap. She was dressed in her usual attire – a black hoodie and ever so common blue jeans – and for the most part, Gemini was quite content with being out of the rain and able to listen to the storm going on outside, along with the quiet and peaceful sounds of the Temple and those within it. It was one of those days where she felt like nothing could go wrong.

  2. -- Jyta Kylyojap-Aiat
-- pink and black hooded sweatshirt, black strech pants, black sneakers, and pink umbrella.

Jyta made her way up to the temple trying to hold onto her umbrella. It would really suck if she lost it.

Gaah, its raining so fucking hard. All I wanted to do was meet my old boyfriend.

She finally made it to the temple. She walked through the door, shook out her hair, and stripped off the sweatshirt and pants, revealing a short pink halter dress. She kicked off her shoes and put on the heels she had hidden in her sweatshirt. Jye grinned: she had always been good at sneaking her sexy clothes out.

She noticed another 'dragon standing a few yards in front of her. He had a hoodie and jeans on. Hmmm... maybe I'm too over-

The 'dragon turned around. It wasn't her old boyfriend.

    "Who the hell are you?"

  3.

She had been drifting around in thought when a voice jolted her from the miniature reverie she had been in, right along with a flash of lightning which chose to illuminate the face who's voice had apparently spoken to her. Confused, Gemini looked around, but didn't see anyone remotely nearby that she would have been talking to – and besides, her eyes were on her, weren't they? Pushing her glasses back up on her muzzle squarely, Gemini opened her mouth to speak, and yet no words came. She was thinking back over what the other had said to her, and instead of speaking right then are there, Gemini climbed to her feet, but only to end up towering over what she guessed was a feydragon.

"I'd like to know the same thing about you," she responded sternly, her face rather blank. It wasn't every day that she was just approached out of the blue by someone and asked just who in the hell she was. And judging from the appearance of the 'dragon that was standing in front of her, Gemini assumed she had a wild one on her hands. Her lips pursed in a semi-polite manner, her mind racking around for something more to say, other than that. "Do you normally walk up to others and screech in their face?" she concluded to her original words, coyotl-like ears folding backward as she tried to seem apologetic for apparently not being the right person.

  4. "Well, yes, I do. Do you have a problem with that?"

She drew herself up... which didn't really make much of a difference: she was still 3' 2".

"I'm here to meet someone, but not you. Who are you?"

  5.

'Guh – looks like I don't have much of a choice...' Gemini thought bitterly, a bit put off by the words of the short feydragon, and she frowned a bit, shaking her head passively. "I'm Gemini." she said, rather plainly. She thought it was a rather plain name to begin with, but then again, she couldn't say that she knew anyone else who shared the name, that was for sure. "What about you – who were you waiting for?" she inquired further, wondering if she might have seen whoever she was looking for.

Gemini had seen a few people come and go.

  6. Jyta was bored, and she wanted to mess with Gemini's head.

I wonder if she knows Ramathian....

"E'n Jyta Kylyojap-Aiat. Ump fhy E un haja sy naas et myma yv iyoj rotematt."

Oh shit.... I got messed up AGAIN! My name is Jyta Kylyopjap-Aiat, not Rose Coloured-Eyes.

    Too bad.......

  7.

"Yh? E taa," she said with a snort, green eyes flickering angrily for a moment. Gemini wasn't overly fluent in Ramathian, but being a pilot, she was required to know some of it. "So Jyta, how's the storm outside? I've been in here the last couple of hours waiting it out." Gemini pressed on, guessing that she either had a very weird name in the common tongue and probably went by it in Ramathian. It made sense to her, at least. Folding her arms across her chest, the sandy thill managed to keep her composure and not seem too disgruntled by the repeated snobbish attitude she was recieving.

  8. Jyta blinked. She didn't expect Gemini to speak Ramathian back. She blinked again, realizing that Gemini had asked her a question.

She lied as quickly as she could. "The rain's letting up a little. You could probably leave, uh, right NOW?"

She could tell the 'dragon didn't believe her, because as she spoke, a loud clap of thunder sounded a wave of raindrops broke out anew.

     "Maybe not."

  9.

Gemini wasn't too sure what to gather about Jyta, wondering why she was so keen to get rid of her. So far, Gemini hadn't really done that meritted such, and while the sandy thill looked up at the glass dome of the building and watched the raindrops slip and slide down it and reflect light when lightning streaked across the sky, she couldn't help but frown a bit, although it was more or less an empathetic frown to the other. "I'm not really planning on leaving just because the storm dies down," she said quietly, coyotl-ears folding back as she spoke, "I actually came here to clear my thoughts." Gemini continued on in an admittingly toned way.

The sandy 'dragon sighed a bit, wondering if the other thills at home were worried if she was going to make it back in time, or if she was stranded somewhere because of the storm. But, it was secondary to what she was having to face in front of her. Refocusing her gaze on the pink coloured 'dragon, Gemini began to speak again. "Maybe you oughta go wait for whoever over there, eh?" she said, pointing towards the opposite wall. "Y'know, some people come to this temple for other reasons than waiting around and harassing the patrons."

  10. "You know, that really is fascinating, but I'm here to find someone...." She stopped for a moment. How did she know that he- she couldn't speak his name- really was coming? She saw it in a dream, but it could have been the caramel coffee she had last night.

"I guess I'm stuck here. But its kind of cold, do you know how to like make a fire or something?" She shivered a little mainly for effect, but it really WAS cold. She shivered again, and was overcome by a fit of coughing. She collapsed onto the floor, coughing even more.

  11.

'Shit,' Gemini thought bitterly when the smaller thill collapsed to the floor, 'I have to go and be a jerk and she starts us this...' and moved over close to her, at first only hovering over her for a moment before crouching down and placing a hand to steady the coughing 'dragon. "Hey, are you gonna be okay?" she asked, although there was a doubtful feeling that she wasn't going to be quite alright after that fit was over.

  12. Jyta tried to stop coughing to tell Gemini that she was fine, but she couldn't.
"*cough cough* I'm..... *cough* f-fine...*cough cough cough cough* Uhn..."

She tried to say something else, but she was wracked with coughs and pretty soon sobs AND coughs.

    "I'm *cough* sorr-"

She didn't finish her statement; she couldn't as she just passed out.

  13.

Gemini watched her struggle for a moment while she tried to say something, but the only thing that the pink thill managed to get out was something that sounded like an apology. Gemini watched her as she layed back suddenly, eyes going closed and the like. The first thing that the piloting thill did was check to make sure that she was breathing, and she appeared to be doing that anyway, and then the next was her pulse. It was nothing short of erratic, but then again, she could imagine that all of the coughing had made it like that. There wasn't anything offhandedly that Gemini could think of to cure someone who had passed out, but the first thing that she was fish around in her pocket for a lighter, and then she wandered off to get some candles.

They were in a temple, after all, and not just some ordinary temple. Tanastlasei, the creator – certainly she had the power to create life just as to take it away, but Gemini did not think such was this serious. It wasn't a long find before she had gathered up a few more candles, including the one that she had lit prior to this entire incident. Following some sort of mental path that started in her mind, Gemini set the candles in a bit of a cresent around the pink thill, lighting them short thereafter with an easy flick of her lighter. "Mm," was the only satisfated reply that Gemini made, although it was more or less a noise of concern than satsifaction. The smoke from the candles furled around and spirled strangely to the ceiling where the rain fell, and while she sat out of way from the cresent shaped circle she had made from the ill thill, Gemini could feel the heat of the tiny flames from where she was watching.

She wasn't a doctor by any stretch.

  14. Jyta lay there unconcious, not even aware of the warmth that surrounded her. She could only see swirls in front of her...... colourful swirls...

The swirls suddenly faded. She was in a field, though you couldn't tell by looking at it. There was no grass and the few trees were bare. She looked around and saw the remains of a small cottage in front of mountains. The mountains looke oddly familiar. She was home. She looked at the death and destruction all around her. What had happened?

    That vision melted into another.

A huge fire raged through the meadow where she stood. The flames were heading toward the cabin. She tried to cry out, but could make no sound. She heard screams, screams that sounded like her parents...

    Another vision.

Jyta was nine years old again. She ran through the field in front of her house, running to where her mommy and daddy stood. Before she reached them, something grabbed her. Her mommy screamed and Daddy did something funny with his hands. It looked like he was shooting fire out of his hands. I want a power, she thought. Suddenly, the creature let go of her. She saw something streak into the distance. Her mommy grabbed her and fainted when she saw a huge gash in Jye's head. Jyta didn't feel any pain. She cocked her head and thought about her head. She felt a tingle and her wound magically sealed.

All these visions ran through Jye's head and she shivered, unaware of what was happening.

OOC: That is one kick-ass post!!!

  15.

Gemini's thoughts seemed to wander around as the time slowly passed by. Part of her was tempted to get up and wander around in the temple, but she didn't want Jyta to believe that she had just left her there – it would just be yet another mess to try and get out of. The day hadn't been a good one by any stretch of the imagination, it was raining, and the sandy 'dragon had just wanted to be left alone on that day, but instead she had been stuck with this. However it hadn't fully deteriorated her light-hearted disposition, and she was patient and her green eyes alternated between watching the candles, and on Jyta.

But from the roof of the Temple, a small droplet of water traced the inside of the dome, slowly rolling along the edge of it before shooting down the side of the dome, flinging itself free and beginning a quick descent towards the pair, only to land on the candle, the hiss of it going out startled Gemini, who jerked in her seat. The coyotl-like ears folding backward and she frowned at the smoking wick of the candle, but at the same time Jyta's shivered, and her attention shifted to the pink thill. Was she coming to? "... Jyta?" Gemini asked, leaning forward a bit see if she was going to wake up. It was rather eerie, being in that Temple seemingly all alone and all of this happening.

  16. Jyta twitched a little, and then opened her pale eyes and screamed. The sound reverberated off the walls of the big empty temple. She felt small and defenseless. She noticed Gemini was looking at her, kind of scared. Candles surrounded her in a cresent shape.

"Wh-wha-what happened?" she said shivering again. Many of the candles had gone out.

  17.

Her scream hurt Gemini's ears and she winced, teeth gritting slightly as the scream seemed to echo more than once in her head. "Well... you passed out. You've been that way for about a hour," she said, setting up a candle that had been kicked over, it's wick also smoking. Out of the ten or so that she had set out, eight of them had gone out. The other two were flickering madly, but they did not cease their benefical light.

"Are you... feeling better?" she asked, her tone laden with concern, green eyes attentively studying the pale ones of the thill, wondering what had happened that made her scream. Gemini bet it had been waking up in a dimly lit part of the temple had probably done something, and she could imagine that she probably woke up with a start. Either way, she seemed to be okay at that moment, although Gemini chose to give her a slight warning. "You should probably see a doctor soon, the cough you had prior to passing out didn't sound very good." and a slight frown followed her words.

  18. Jyta shivered more and drew her knees up to her chest.

"Gah it's cold. Can you get my sweats?"

She started coughing again, but it was very weak.

"Maybe I should see a doctor."

She tried to stand again, but her knees buckled underneath her.

    "Uhhh that's not good..."

  19.

"Yeah, I'll get them, where'd you leave them at?" Gemini said, turning her head a bit to see if she had stowed them away somewhere within a grabbing range, but didn't see them directly near her or Jyta. Of course, it was just then that the pink 'dragon had stood up, and started to topple over. Out of a split-second reaction, Gemini manage to grab a hold of her shoulder, and steadied her. "You're probably just a bit disorintented from collapsing. So, it can't hurt if you stand still a bit."

Once she was sure that Jyta wasn't going to go topple over and take out any relics in the room, Gemini stood up, and took a good look around the room before she spied out what she guessed the pink thill had been talking about, and walked over to them, giving her bottlebrush tail a flick as she picked them up, smoothing out the fabric before wandering back over to Jyta, and Gemini held them out for her.

  20. Jye sat down again. Her ankle suddenly started to throb. She tried not to cry out from pain, but a small groan escaped her lips. She hadn't practiced her healing in so long... she didn't know if she could do it now. She tried to focus on her ankle, but her ankle hurt worse.

~Uh, this is probably the last thing you want to hear, but... I don't think I can walk.~

She said directly into Gem's mind. She looked at her ankle, now rapidly swelling.

    ~This sucks.~
