Who: Diana Morrigan Timestamp: 7:34 a.m. 19 Tria, 81380 In Character: The teleporter at the edge of the grounds, but yet still near the building, flared to life and a young, but not too young, Anubi stepped out. She stepped off of the platform, her luggage bag hung over her shoulder lazily as she swung a soft amber eye over the courtyard. A small, sly smile spread across her maw as she saw the crouds and groups gathered here and there in the early morning light. She stood under the shade of a tall, old tree and looked up at it, a sigh escaping her lips. She was happy to be away from her parents, and happy of there being no more home school, she was going to an actual school. She walked forward into the gleaming morning light and put the back side of her left hand on her hip, her right hand still holding her luggage over her right shoulder. Her figure was slim and sleek, not a hair out of place. She wore her usual attire, a tiny, black tank-top that was more like a strapless bra, but not much like a bra; and her rather large, baggy black pants that seemed to possess not pockets and reveal the small black side thong straps the went up around her waist. She pulled out of her pocket a tie striped with Janardan colors. "This may actually work with my outfit..." Her smile became soft and elegant and she put the tie on, though loosely, around her neck. She licked her maw and gazed around at the different crowds, rating each and everyone of them. That one is unfortunitally a four....oooo a seven. But I see no nines or even eights. How unfortunate.
Who: Zemenia Shackleheart Nairobu + Aedil Brokensoul Nairobu Back up in the old tree, a pair of pale green eyes glowed curiously in the high up canopy. They blinked in unison, becoming covered by lids of earthen and cindered hues for a few fleeting moments before revealing themselves again, ebony pupil dilating, morphing into a slit at the bright touch of sunlight streaming down from the bleached indigo heavens. Another duo of oculars soon appeared after the first, though smaller in size and of an entirely different set of tones. Beryl orb disappeared along with sphere of golden dye behind a semi-transparent ashen film, returning to their original colors quickly as the lid slid away again. The slighter twins glanced furtively to the side, as if awaiting a signal from their larger compatriots, and then came back to rest upon the Anubi's lithe frame as nothing was returned to indicate the moment was ripe. However, the first brace to have appeared inside the healthy green leaves of the tree flicked to the side only a moment later, finally giving the signal to go. Both combos soon vanished from sight, the fact that they had been there before only told in the faint rustle of leaves and the sharp snappings of branches as they fell under a rather heavy creature's weight. One particular branch even crashed down to the ground, squashing flat any other plant that might have had the misfortune to find itself on the limb's path. As suddenly as the sounds had started, they stopped, and silence settled again upon the tree, as if both creatures inside had frozen completely in fear of being discovered... or else in simple craftiness. The latter was more probable, as a slim shadow dropped to the ground in a flurry of leaves and bits of wood, holding its arms up to catch another falling creature. The seemingly younger one let out a squeak of surprise as it descended slightly towards the ground, and then was hefted up onto the tall one's shoulders for a better view of what would happen next. Quickly clamping its maw shut, it grinned apologetically at the elder creature, and then looked ahead to see what they could do to reach the Anubi. A path was found quite easily by the couple, and they swiftly set off onto it. Weaving around the tree's thick brown trunk, lowering themselves to the ground silently, and then slithering over the short-cropped grass towards the elegant female like two snakes from earth, they were quick to approach the thill. In those few moments they took to get to her, however, anyone watching close by might have noticed who they were. One, the biggest of the two, was named Zemenia. Her brown-streaked fur, based on the dark gray color of ashes or stormy skies, blended well with the sun-yellowed strands of grass coating the earth. She had a slightly masculine frame, though she was slim and not very muscled, and was often mistaken for one because of this particular fact. Slender audit twitched slightly as a fly alighted upon it, the ebony hairs tipping it flowing smoothly along with the swift movement. Earth-streaked straw-hued hair dragged along the ground while she kept low, slithering down over both sides of her face as well as her neck. The spikes adorning the thick leather necklace she always wore stuck uncomfortably into the ground, but she still did not even think about taking it off. If you had looked at it from far away, it would have seemed to hold the thick ruff of tawny fur she possessed just over her clavicles. Thin, scarred fingers slid easily along the ground, needle-sharp claws slipping through strands of grass, while large, ungainly feet lumbered behind. A loose shirt was worn over her chest, the common insigna of an x-eyed smiley printed upon it, while a pair of large green pants fell down from her hips. The sleek, furred form of a dog-like tail wagged joyfully in the air, though its movements were abated somewhat to not let the Anubi take too much notice of their presence nearby. A playful grin was sported upon her reptile features, and pale green orbs glittered with mischief. She was ready to have fun. Just as her sister, perched upon her shoulders like a perfect feline, was. Aedil was her name, and nothing would ever change it. She strongly resembled her sibling, though size was one of the big differences between them. While Zem averaged the two meters, little Aed was only able to reach a foot at the most on quadrupedal position, the only form of walking she would ever take [but that didn't stop her from being one strong Pendragon]. Spiky hair also adorned her head, though hers was more slender than her sister's, and of an ivory hue. Gray skin, the thin purple lines of hundreds of veins faintly apparent just beneath, covered her entire body. Three bands of dark indigo striped the pair of ears growing from the upper section of her skull, and tufts of snowy fur, shaped as burning flames, tipped these same audits. Slightly thicker paws ended muscular limbs, each of the four toes ended by solid thorn-like claws, and, to finish the lot, a long, winding tail swished along on Zemenia's back as Aed stayed still upon her shoulder. In one fluid movement, the eldest sister jumped to her feet, cupped her agile hands around her mouth, and screamed a welcome into the thill's ear. "Hello!" [Hmm... I don't like my post. Not the length, no, that's quite fine for me, but... The content is choppy. Hope ya can work with it anyway ^_^']
Diana had been walking peacefully, minding her own business as she headed towards the registration desk. But all of that was ruined when out of no where a extremely loud 'hello' was called right into her ear. With a startled squeal she jumped in slightly and her feet slipped out from under her on the slight dew still on the ground. She fell right onto her back, a loud 'oof' escaping her as she did so. Di closed her eyes and groaned, a hand holding her back as she slowly sat up. She poked open one eye, the amber colors blazing gold in the perfect light. She saw the 'dragon that had screamed right in her ear and a low growl escaped her. She stood up slowly and wiped the dirt off of her pants, in fact her favorite pants, which didn't help to improve the situation. "What the hell do you think you're doing? That was really rude of you!" She glared silently at the female before her and sighed, though as usual her mind kicked in. You know...she may be a low nine....high eight. Heh.... With another growl she shook the thought from her head and picked up her suitcase, looking back to the femme still next to her. She then noticed the other one, who looked amazing like the loud one...only shorter. Di cocked her head to the side and looked back to the taller of them. "Well....I guess I could at least give a 'hi'. Though what you did was totally uncalled for." Once again Diana's suitcase was slung over her right shoulder and her left hand was placed on her hip right in between the edge of her pants and her thong strap.
Zemenia squeaked in surprise, tail sticking straight out behind her like a stiff rod, as the thill jumped from the shock of having a greeting yelled into her ear, making a shrill cry come forth from her throat, and landed heavily upon the dewy grass below her. The tall 'dragon bent down to stare at the female's features, one eyebrow cocked high on her forehead, slim head tilted to the side in a strangely questioning manner, as if she was asking the fallen femme what was wrong. Aedil had jumped off of her sibling's shoulder when this same sister had jerked backwards earlier on, while Diana was dropping to the ground, and was now peeking out from the striped female's right hind leg, thin forked tongue sticking out from between strong jaws in a comical expression as she also balanced her skull to the side, though her look was more mocking than anything. As the Anubi began moaning a moment later, the strange, childish thill took a step backwards cautiously, cranium still orientated at a slight angle. Her miniature sister growled slightly as a sharp heel knocked softly into her chest, but went with the flow, taking a small hop-skip backwards while the beige-hued girl sat sorely back up. Then one of the femme's eyes flew open, amber iris glaring at them like twin ardent flames as the light of an early-morning sun hit it directly. Standing onto her feet slowly, the thill swiped a hand over the ebony-toned fabric of her pants, wiping away the earth and grime that had dirtied the cloth, before curtly demanding the odd pair of Pendragons exactly what the farg they were fargging doing. "What the hell do you think you're doing? That was really rude of you!" A confused expression replaced the one of inquiring curiousness on Zemenia's streaked features, and her skull reared backwards slightly, making her have to take another step backwards. They usually reacted like that when she yelled into their ears, but not so... so crudely. A frown began curving her brow inwards as her minuscule sibling stepped forwards threateningly, a low growl rumbling in her throat. Aed had always been a bit too over-protective, and this was obviously apparent as she stood squarely on all four of her legs in a defensive stance, spine arched menacingly, the spiked hair adorning her scalp bristling upwards like the hackles on a furred creature. Indigo-ringed audits were pushed forwards fiercely as thick claws dug savagely into the ground, catching a good grip on clumps of young grass and stones buried under the topsoil, and a trickle of steam was wavering from the tip of her fireless tail. Glancing down, Zemenia gave a hearty shake of her head, and bent to scoop her sister up. The shock of being swept upwards into the air so quickly completely extinguished all aggressivity inside the tiny female, and she rested with a muddled expression upon her tiny visage. The Anubi spoke again, though her tones were not as harsh as before. The tall 'dragon narrowed her eyes warily at the femme, not quite trusting this creature who had yelled at her so vulgarily [is that a word?], and turned her frame slightly so that forelimbs shielded the tiny bundle of gray skin held comfortably between them like a child's pet. Maw opened slightly, as if she was going to speak, but then closed again, giving Zem a slight pause before she finally let the words pass her lips. "So was what joo did."
Diana gritted her teeth and resisted the urge to slug the 'dragon in front of her. It would not help her to get in a fight, specially when she only had about a week left her anger managment class left. She did not want to take that class any longer...she didn't have an anger problem. "What I did!? You were the one who came up to me and screamed a 'hello' into my ear when I was minding my own...." Once more Diana gritted her teeth together and now resisted the urge to throw a long string of profane language in the 'dragon's direction. She closed her eyes slowly and took a couple of deep breaths, body loosening up from it's tense position. "Maybe we should start this over, huh? I'm Morrigan, Diana Morrigan. But you can call me Di, I prefer it." She held out her left hand, the soft beige fur still not out of place and her eyes opened. As she held out her hand her eyes locked with the 'dragon's and a small smile spread across Di's face. It was a soft sultry, almost teasing smile. Her eyes danced with almost real flames as the sun brightened the amber color to the honey gold, as if it was the very heart of a flame.
As Aedil saw the thill tense and begin to yell at her older sister again, she let loose a powerful hiss from between clenched jaws, which in turn was quenched by an agile finger placed over pursed lips, a sign from her sibling to not speak and just listen. The niotie sullenly glared at the beige Anubi, sinew stretched tight as she desperately tried to stop herself from leaping in fury at the opposing female and claw her face to bits. Or, at least, try to claw her face to bits. She would probably be beaten into the ground before that ever happened. However, her anger soon abated, mainly because of the fact that the femme they had... 'greeted' calmed down, loosening her own body, and also stopped screaming like a madwoman at the pair of confused sisters. The little 'dragon let her form relax slowly, decontracting muscle after muscle, the raised spikes on her tiny head lowering into a friendlier position. It the other did not start ranting maniacally again, she wouldn't have to get all spitty again, which was quite a relief for the niotie. Getting angry always made her tired for some reason. She had never known why. Miscolored eyes began closing slightly, pale blue ocular disappearing slightly before sun-kissed orb, and she began to rest from the ordeal. However, senses always alert, a slender indigo-ringed auditory stayed pricked cautiously, listening to every movement the thill in front of them may do. The next words spoken were those of peace, and the hand held out as an offering made this statement more obvious. Zemenia glanced down at the outstretched palm curiously, wondering what she was supposed to do at that moment, and then looked at the Anubi's face again, skull tilting to the side in a questioning manner once more. She was still suspicious of the seemingly short-tempered thill, and the voluptuous smile spread upon the femme's lips did not make the situation any better, as the strange, shining glint in her eyes. Hesitating slightly, the tall female 'dragon cautiously took hold of the hand, just grasping it there like a child with a new toy. She was really new to this sort of thing. Most people didn't act all friendly just after screaming at her.
Diana smiled as the 'dragon took her hand and Di shook the female's hand. She waited for her name, but decided to ask when she didn't get it. She betted that the female was shocked, of course Di did that to people a lot. "So what's your name. Or should I just call you Mystery." She laughed softly and pulled her hand away and she repositioned her suitcase, to hang by her side, her hip tilted off to an angle. She seemed to have the body of someone who is a skilled belly dancer or even a plain dancer. She was proud of her looks and took advantage when men drooled over her at times. Her smile became even more playfull as she took a step towards the female who stood about a couple of feet away. She locked eyes once more and stared at her, she seemed to try to tempt the female in front of her and she smiled. She didn't come off as aggressive, but purely...teasing. I'm loving this place already. I may not have put on a good first impression to this female, but I can fix my image in time.
As the female, apparently named Diana Morrigan, asked for their names, the taller of the pair glanced downwards, one eyebrow upraised as if asking the small 'dragon if she should tell their once-opponent and now friendly stranger the dubbance they had received at birth. Aedil, slowly raising one pale gray eyelid, returned the glance, and then closed her eyes again, giving a quick up and down of her head to agree with the question. Blinking bleached moss-green oculars once to acknowledge the decision, Zemenia returned her young gaze to the beige femme standing in front of her. She slipped her hand from the other's grasp, raising it to finger the thick spikes lining a wide circlet of leather encircling her neck, and then sifting her fingers through the dark tawny fur of the ruff that seemed to grow out from under it. Finally pulling her scarred fingers away from the mane-like puff of hair, she pointed one clawed digit at her chest [at the left cross-eye of the smiley imprinted upon her black shirt, to be precise], and let a single word escape her lips. "Zemenia." Then gracefully moving her hand again, finger twisting along with the movement, she next pointed at her sister's small, rounded skull while one more pronounciation whistled through her serrated ivory fangs. "Aedil." Then her fingers came closed to the back of the miniature niotie's head, settling down at the crook of the neck, where the spine met the hard bone of the cranium, and began rubbing up and down the pearly skin, causing a rough purr to erupt from the girl's throat. A thin smile appeared on the oldest sibling's maw, widening slightly as Aedil turned over onto her back, offering her belly for a nice massage. After giving her what she wanted, sliding her fingers along the soft epiderm of the female'sslim stomach, Zem's oculars returned their attention to the Anubi nearby, who had seemingly stepped closer. Their was less distance now between their feet, and Zem was good enough at evaluating lengths and sizes, even from far away. Head tilted to the side once more, pale green orbs staring curiously at the thill standing there, forest gaze locked with flame-filled eyes. Why was it that this female seemed to strange? Something about her seemed.... similar to what Zemenia felt when opposed to either gender of the Pendragon races, but different in the same way. She couldn't quite place her claw on it, and it didn't make her feel very uncomfortable. Stepping back, she remade the distance between them, orbs narrowed again, though it was more of a questioning gesture than aggressive or cautious.
Diana smiled, nodding when they told her their names and couldn't help but let a small laugh escape her as the 'dragon stepped back when she moved closer. "Let me ask you a question. Are you new or have you been here a while? Because I just arrived and have no clue as to where I'm going. I was hoping, since you are the only poeple I know, that you would give me a small tour if you aren't new too." She looked the 'dragon up and down once, not even caring if she hid it or not. She was quiet impressed with Zemenia, but she ignored this. I guess, I could rate her looks at an eight and a half. Heh, the best I seen so far, that's for sure. She thought, a tiny glint tinkling in her eyes, a glint she always got when she was looking someone over. She couldn't help it, she was too curious. "So what do you say, hm? Give me a small tour, even if you are new we could go looking around to try and figure the place out." She spoke softly, the teasing flirty likeness seeping back into her voice as she ran a hand through her rust colored hair.
One eyebrow shot up her forehead as a laugh escaped the Anubi's throat, ringing strangely inside her ears. Déjà vu. She knew that scene had already been played somewhere back in her memories, but, as always, did not want to dwell over it. And so, numbing her thoughts slightly to stop herself from going back to that particular topic, she listened intently to what was being said by the female before her. For how long had she been here? A few months, perhaps. She didn't really keep track of the days. Shrugging slightly, she opened her maw a bit before finally speaking, letting the quiet, mellow tones of her voice fill the silence that had settled again. But before she was able to place in another syllable, she noticed that the girl, Di, was doing something again. Amber gaze drifting up and down over the 'dragon's form, she seemed to be looking her over, as if measuring her up to someone - or something, she couldn't really say - whom she had met before. Maybe even, if she travelled a lot in the busier cities, the many people she had seen and spoken to. And that glint in her orbs had returned, turning them from plain friendly, perhaps teasing, into a strange curiosity that Zemenia knew she had never experienced, even though she became interested in any and all things rather quickly. Suddenly noticing her mouth was still hanging ajar, she quickly clamped it shut. The sharp snap of jaw against jaw awoke the little niotie sleeping in her arms, and Aedil raised her head groggily from the comfortable curve of her big sister's forelimbs, half-closed eyes tiredly flickering around to see what had caused the sound. Glancing upwards, she saw the sheepish look her sibling now had pasted on her face, and flashed her a smile to show everything was all right, before returning again to the soothing rest she had begun moments before. She soon fell into the deep sleep common to her after an exhausting fury, and the faint breathing of the tiny 'dragon filled the ensuing silence. However, this same quietness was soon broken again by the Anubi's voice. Luckily, it did not pull Aed from her recent slumber, but was still loud enough to immediately catch Zem's attention. Thoughts whirled in answer through her head, some denying, some agreeing, and she snorted in exasperation before picking one at random and spouting it out just as she always did. "Sure I will, Di. It's Di, right?" It was strange how tall Zem could seem so childish at some moments, but turn into a mature 'dragon or a spunky teenager at the blink of an eye. Just another mysterious trait to add to her already lengthy list of abnormalities.
Diana smiled as Aedil awoke, she thought that the little one had a sort of baby cuteness to her. She shook herself from her thoughts and nodded when Zem agreed on the tour. "Great and yes it's Di. By the way you don't mind taking me to the registration desk do you? I still need to register and then get a room." She let of another flashy smile and laughed, she had a knack for laughing, even when there may be nothing to laugh at. It was a slight nervous habit of hers, but she would never admit that she was nervous. She didn't like people to know her exact emotions. She only like them to know when she was happy or angry and that was it, nothing else. "So, Zem. What's it like here? I've never been to a real school before...heh. I was home schooled since I was seven." She smiled sheepishly and cussed herself out mentally for actually telling someone that.
At the next question to come, it took a moment for Zem to remember exactly what the registration desk was. She'd been here for some time, yes, but no one had yet asked her for a tour, and she had never asked anyone if they did want one. After a while, information seemed to drop right out of her memory. Except for her past. Never that. Shaking her head again, she returned to the present, letting her voice fill the silence for the umpteenth time. "Yeah, sure. I just hope I remember where it is..." she added under her voice, not quite sure where this desk was actually situated. She could ask Aed; the little niotie always remembered what she saw. But for now her smaller sister was sleeping, and Zeminia didn't especially want to bother the little lump of pale gray skin. Rubbing her digits over the thin spikes that constituted her sibling's hair for comfort, just like she usually did when the miniature almost-replica of herself was there with her. Di's laughing unnerved her slightly, mainly because of the connection it had with her recallings. But she pushed the thoughts away again, pasting a small smile upon her maw to show that she was all right, and also to return the one directed towards her by the strange Anubi. Another question. To be sure, this femme was filled with inquiries. Pale green oculars flicked uncomfortably from side to side, searching for an answer. She didn't much know what to say. It was okay, she guessed, but that wasn't telling much. Plenty of places were okay? Vacations were okay. The sea was okay. And those things weren't schools in any way. She raised a clawed finger to her mouth and began nibbling on the tip of the needle-thin chip at the end of the digit, a nervous gesture of hers that made her feelings quite obvious. Unlike Diana, she was quite plain when showing her emotions. The constant moving of the forelimbs she was resting on, and the endless talking echoing around her sensitive ears, made Aedil wake up again. She was starting to get a bit grumpy at all this disturbance, and a slight frown was bending her brow, the beginning of a pout curling her lower lip over her chin. Immediately, a soothing hand was deposited on her head, and agile fingers began rubbing along her scalp to calm her. She wouldn't sleep anymore [what was the point when she kept on being woken up?], but wouldn't get angry, either. Her sister had a gentle touch that always lowered any angered feelings she may be experiencing. Her mounting temper finally dissipated, the little niotie began paying more attention to the conversation. She had listened while resting, so knew what was happening, and was also aware of the tight spot her sister had gotten into. Rolling her eyes to show her exasperation, she flicked a single thick foretoe towards herself, indicating to the tall thill to come closer. Whispering something inside her ear, she settled down again in the crook of her sister's arm, awaiting the next question or action to come from either the strange female holding her or the Anubi standing in front of both she and Zem.
Diana smiled and nodded once more, situating her suitcase over her shoulder once more. She then noticed the nervousness in Zem when she got the second question. Di actually began to feel a bit sorry for her and sighed. She saw the little one whisper something into Zem's ear and she cocked an eyebrow, she wondered what the little shrimp had said. "Sorry, I ask a lot of questions don't I? I guess it can't be helped, I'm a curious person that's all. So you want to head to the building or are we gonna stay here and chat?" She spoke with a small, playfull smile. Dianna then noticed that she had asked another question and she cussed herself mentally. She didn't want the 'dragon in front of her to have a nervous breakdown or something. She had seen her mother go through one of those before and it wasn't pretty. Specially from a such a Weibsstueck like her.
"Umm... go, I guess?" the tall thill suggested, shrugging her shoulders. She didn't know much what to do. Starting a day by yelling into a short-tempered Anubi's ear, getting yelled at in turn, and then becoming friendly on a sudden impulse wasn't improving her mental capacities. And then there were all the questions. Nervousness was gaining on her, and this was made obvious as she lifted her hand to her maw again, chewing thoroughly on the tip of her claw. Aedil, having to clamber higher up her other arm to not fall, let a low growl rumble in her throat as she settled down again, draping herself over the muscular form of her sibling's other forelimb. She closed her eyes again, though she wasn't sleeping, and decided to just listen to the conversation now. She was getting tired again. Too many inquiries were whirling through her head, the main subject why this strange Anubi looked as if she was trying to seduct her older sister. Snorting slightly at the thought, though doubt remained in her mind [after all, her sister enjoyed the company of either gender, too, no?], she let herself sink into a subconscious concentration. "So... huh... shall we go?" Zemenia hesitatingly asked, replacing her arm where it had been before to speak. She carefully imprinted the directions Aed had given her to get to the registration desk, so that she might be able to get to the information later on if anyone else asked her. Lifting a thick hind paw, she began rubbing it along the back of her other leg, her earth-streaked ashen fur rubbing against the dark green fabric of the pants she was wearing. Setting her foot back down to regain her stability, she returned her attention to the thill, still standing there, and gestured vaguely in the direction of the Janardan Front Foyer over in a corner of the courtyard. "I think the registration desk's over there, according to my little sis'," she explained, already telling what Aedil had whispered to her. Slapping her forehead with a heavy forepaw, the tiny 'dragon nestled in her sibling's arms snorted in exasperation, and then returned to resting herself.
Diana nodded her approval of the direction and laughed softly as the little one smacked her forehead, it was actually quiet commical and Di loved humor. "You know Zemenia, it's a nasty habit to bite your claws. You should really try to calm down sometimes, it might work easier. Heh." She smiled and walked a little bit ahead, looking back at Zem every now and then, her suitcase still slung over her shoulder. As she walked a little ways ahead it was easy to see that Di walked with a slight sway in her hips, not truly noticable unless you looked. A small, but playfull, smile was still planted on her lips and as a couple of boys passed by her she winked at them, blowing an air kiss towards them. The funny thing about was that they almost ran into a tree. Diana giggled softly to herself and continued on her way, looking back to make sure that Zem and Aed were keeping up.
Though Zemenia blushed strongly, her entire face turning crimson with shame as she gripped her arms to stop herself from reaching up and chewing on her claw again, the colors could not be seen because of her short coat. She was quite grateful for this fact, and mentally kicked herself for being so stupid as to turn red at the slightest mention of her annoying habit. She faltered for a moment, absently kicking the grass with one thick-toed foot, and then mumbled something, though it could have been loud enough for Diana to hear it. "Just call me Zem." Taking a deep breath to calm herself as Aedil jumped onto her shoulder to escape the bumpy ride she knew she would receive if she ever stayed nestled inside her tall sibling's arms, she began walking forwards after the Anubi, though what she meant to be a 'determined and ready stride' would look more like a scuttle to any creature, 'dragon, kuluo, et cetera, looking in her direction [though it was quite improbable that anyone would do so, taking in the fact that either they ignored her to not be annoyed by her exasperating childishness, or they just didn't notice her. She wasn't very conspicuous when she didn't want to be]. And, just as the tiny niotie perched upon her shoulder had cleverly predicted, she shook quite a bit when she ran, mainly because of the ungainly length of her lanky, though muscular, legs. It all made quite the comical scene, though the thill desperately tried to run with a steady pace, and an arden way over on the other side of the courtyard who had been one of the few to notice her burst into laughter as he saw her gait. She sent a harsh pale green glare in his direction before taking a quick sprint, knowing that she wouldn't seem so stupid like that. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the group of boys who had walked past Diana nearly walk into an ancient tree similar to the one Zem and her sister had been in earlier. Rolling her eyes in unison with her miniature sister, she went on, finally reaching her companion's side. Her breath was slightly heavier than it had been, though it was a lot lighter than what it could have been if she didn't exrcice so much. She glanced at the Anubi now beside her, matching her step for step as they went on the way to the registration desk. What a strange female. Always smiling and laughing.
Di was just one big flirt, and she would flirt with almost anyone. She looked to Zem as she caught up and smiled. "You don't exercise much do you?" Diana sudenlly bit her lip pretty hard, almost hard enought to break the skin. She had asked another question, how many more times would she do that. Gosh darn it. This 'dragon is pretty neat, I think we could be friends, only if I would stop my stupid questions. They are like word vomit. She sighed softly and smiled again as they came up to the Front Foyer. She waved a hand to the door. "After you." She smiled softly, she did this just to tease but she also was supposed to being helped. She didn't want to basically lead the tour that was for her. Di slipped her thump into her pants edge, the other fingers hanging out as her hip tilted and her suitcase still dangled over her shoulder.
Zem looked slightly hurt as Diana commented on her case. She did exercice. Every morning, to be precise. She had finished her daily run around the courtyard before having climbed the old tree this Anubi had gone under later on. After that, Diana knew the story pretty well. She had experienced it. But her indignation lessened slightly as she saw the female bite her lip, turning the skin white from the pressure. Either she had done that because she realized her mistake about the striped thill not exercising, or because she had asked another question. In fact, as soon as this latter thought entered the tall femme's mind, she began getting nervous again, instinctively reaching upwards with her scarred fingers to bite her claw. However, realizing that she was doing that annoying little habit again, she stopped her action half-way and lowered her hand again. She would stop this fargging nail-chewing. Whatever it took. Her attention returned to the present as she saw Di wave at the door of the Front Foyer. She hadn't even noticed they had arrived, so deep in her thoughts she was [which, actually, didn't usually happen]. Faltering for a moment, not quite knowing what to say, she began 'umming' again. But, just in time, in fact, the Anubi spoke again. Her words, to the two sisters' relief, were not questioning, and not meant as an inquiry. So, giving a slight shrug and glancing sideways at her little sister, the 14-year-old female stepped forwards to grasp the handle of the door. Pushing down on the lver-like device, she then gave the door a slight propulsion. It swung inwards almost ominously, the hinges creaking from lack of oiling, slowly and deliberately, nearly as if it wanted to scare the pair of strange 'dragons and the short-tempered Anubi girl. And Zemenia, already unnerved by this strange [or at least what seemed like a strange] happening, halted in the entryway, maw open and another frown bending her brow downwards. "Umm... I'd rather not."
Diana shivered slightly as the door creaked open, it reminded her too much of a horror movie, she was absolutely terrified of horror movies. "Yea...alright. Um...then I'll go in first." She spoke slowly, almost catiously. She set down her suitcase on the ground and walked forward, slipping past Zem into the doorway. She gulped slightly and took a small step forward, the place looked almost deserted. It was as if everyone was outside. She took a tip-toe step forward and a couple more and looked around. "Hello? Is anyone here?" She didn't hear and answer and still saw no one, so she turned around to face Zem. "I guess no one is here right now..." She was still a bit freaked about this, and you could hear it just barely in her voice. OOC: Short...but it works. xP
OOC//I agree xDDD IC// Zemenia watched as Di slowly walked into the deserted hallway, Aedil, still perched on her sister's high-up shoulder, also following the Anubi's movements as she entered the building. The suitcase was still on the ground by the door as the femme turned around to face them and announce the lack of living presence, so the tall thill bent down to take a hold of the case's handle and lugged it up onto her shoulder just as their companion had earlier, finding with slight surprise that it was easier to carry it in this manner than with it hanging on the end of your arm by your side. Aed approached it, taking a tentative sniff of the possession, and then shrugged before taking a step backwards and settling down in a steady sitting position in her usual spot on her sibling's clavicles. The striped teenager gave a swift nod of her slim skull to acknowledge the statement, though she knew her insides were shaking like jelly. She was terribly scared, and it was slightly more than a simple child's fear, though the reason was not quite usual for a 'dragon as old as she was. Powerful and thumping, making her heart beat like a drum's rythm inside her chest, as if it would burst right through her ribs at any moment. This thought made her gag, and she closed her mouth along with pale green orbs to stop herself from puking at the picture conjured inside her head. Unlocking her jaws after a moment to take a deep, calming breath, she bunched her legs together, taking a small hop-skip to reach the inside of the wide hall. Doors lined each wall, labelled with the respective names of each room hidden beyond their hard textures. Her gaze roved over the line on the left wall, though she did not find what she was looking for. The Main Office was what they had to enter first if they wanted to get to the registration desk, and she wasn't able to spy it on either side of herself. Starting to get slightly worried by the oppressive silence surrounding them, she gave a small cough, rubbing a hind foot against the back of her leg just as she had earlier on.
