Trust me, they'll help ya get a visual image of these two braggards. \\ IC The day was fairly new, the sun had risen, and if you listened enough, those damn birds were chirping. Which was the cause of the most recent scuffle between these two ill-fated love birds. Or something.. "I don't know why they can't just shut up." Kujai huffs, pinnin her ears to her head around the glistening bronzed horns that lay behind them. "Darling, they chirp for the reason to stake out their claim on a certain area. They're being territorial." a pause, "Not at all unlike you." Kujai hauls off and backhand slaps him with her free right paw as they walk, side by side, seeing as her other three front limbs were more than capable of keeping her propelled. Aiolos, being bigger than the normal pendragon, merely grins without so much as a flinch. She'd learned she couldn't hurt this brute, unless she tried goring him with her horns, so she often took out frustrations on him, and he allowed it. Better him, whom she couldn't hurt, instead of someone else whom she might just kill! Changing the subject, the moody Kujai turns more irritable, though now directed at the examiner. "Where is he? Or she? They were supposed to meet us here.." "Don't worry so much, we're a little early." Sudden mood change from irritated to gentle concern. Kujai looks up at his face, scrutinizing every facial twitch as if her life depended on it, "Are you worried?" Aiolos shakes his head, "I'm better than most of the 'dragons here. Why should I be worried?" Arrogance, arrogance, blah, blah. Kujai smirks, turning to another mood; this time taunting, "Well, I'd be worried if I were you.. considering you're not muched liked.. maybe they'll flunk you until you learn some humility, just out of spite! You'll be the oldest apprentice alive.." Aiolos flicks his ears and slowly turns his head to look down at his six-legged love. "You're an enormous pain in my tail, darling. I don't know why I bother with you." Kujai grins, "Ah, but I know why." "And why is that?" he asks, almost bored. "Because I'm the only ne you know, besides your sister, who would dare stand up to you." Aiolos smirks, just a bit. Just a hint of one. But, he allowed the smirk, because she was right, and both of them knew it. Trotting out across the grass come two masters, Aiolos could tell simply from their gait, and their age. Both were well into their middle years, no doubt about that. Another hundred or so, and the Graders would be "watching over them." "G'morning." The male begins, "We are Masters Kilesh, and Yuli." At the mention of Yuli, the female bobs her head. "Are you Aiolos?" he looks between Aio and Kujai, but settled on Aiolos. Aiolos nods, "Yes." The master nods, "Good, come with me, please." And turns, and struts off, about fifty paces, or so. Kujai stays, as she knew it was the master's way of spacing them out, both to allow Aiolos room for his skills, and to be assured it wasn't Kujai pulling the strings. The other examiner sits a little ways away from Kujai, and remains silent, for some unknown reason. Likeliest that she just wasn't talkative, but it made Kujai angry, anyway. Just about anything made her angry.. or happy, for that matter! Kujai knew she had to behave herself, so she restrained herself from doing anything rash. Such as attacking the other master. She did, however, hope for someone else to talk to..
Chars ---- ---- ---- Nurano Unraja 2000 Years, Male, Bottom Sig. Trade: Spy, Apprentice Secondary Trade: Elemental Sorcery, Apprentice Nafel Isunari 1600 Years, Female, Top Sig. Trade: Creating Music, Aprentince Secondary Trade: Elemental Sorcery, Basic ---- ---- ---- OOC: I like the tread title ^_~ . Nafel knows Aiolos from a thread a while back, in case you don't remember. ---- ---- ---- BIC: Nafel and Nurano padded up behind, talking. Nurano turned and noticed the four 'Dragons, alerting Nafel. She looked up and stared at Aiolos, blinking. Remembering who it was, she smiled. Nurano looked at her, his eyes inquiring. Quietly, she murmered "He tought me a spell... Thyba." Smiling softly to herself at the memory of the book she sent flying, she padded to the female 'Dragon watching the other 3. "Hullo... Uh... I don't think we've met. I'm Nafel. Do you mind if Nurano," she nodded to her friend "and I stay? I know Aiolos from a while back. He's a friend of mine... kind've." It was unusual for Nafel to spout off in such a manner, but she knew the 'Dragons around her (Kind've) and was more at ease. Nurano came to stand behind her, blending with the shadows, his dark brown eyes taking in the landscape. He looked like a silent body guard, staying in the shadows, with his black pelt contrasting Nafel's bold turquoise coloring.
\\ OOC: mwaha, don'cha just!? hehe, yup! I do! (I am quite senile, I'll readily admit, but I do remember that thread! Yuss. ) hehehe! \\ IC Kujai had heard their approach, but at that point in time, she'd been too interested in listening to the examiner giving Aio his first instructions. First round of the test was piddly magic. Not stuff she could do, exactly like Aio, after all she was dark magic, not elemental, but she could do it easily, and knew he'd have no problem, either. After the little introduction given by the young female, Kujai takes a very brief moment to look her over. Then remembering her promise to Aiolos to behave herself, she smiles and reaches out her front right paw, "Well, hello Nafel, I'm Kujai, and no, I don't mind if either of you stay." she smirks, glancing over to the rather stoic female examiner, not doing much but staring off into space. Kujai drops her voice a tone or two as she continues a particularly jibbing comment, "I haven't got much company, elsewise, as you can see.." raised 'brow is twitched as she speaks of Yuli. Voice level returning to former pitch and tempo, she smiles again, "So, how do you know my Aio?" She was in quite a pleasent and passive mood at the moment, which was a blessing, knowing her tempest mood changes. - ~ - Off not to far in the distance, Aiolos was performing parlor tricks for the examiner. Crafting flame in his paw on command, extinguishing it equally magically. Magically digging a small hole before him, then filling it in again. Growing the plantlife around him, then causing it to wither. Now he was told to expand into more broadened parlor tricks; air/water ones. Specifically of the weather variety. With a few adeptly spoken commands, Aiolos calls a cloud to form by increasing the humidity in a specific part of the air. He increases it so much as so fast the space of air goes from clear blue, to having a fluffy small white cloud, to a larger grey one, and finally an enormous doom-bringing black one. Which, to all unknowing eyes, looked rather out of place, as the rest of the mid-morning sky was clear, dotted here and there with lazy stretches of white, thin, clouds. The only thing that was missing from this show was the thunder and lightening, which hadn't yet been desired by the examiner. He'd practiced for this exam, as well as practicing for practical purposes. No use tiring out completely after one big spell, now was there? So Aiolos keeps a tight magical grip on the cloud, while the examiner plucks dirt from his nail - purposefully wasting time to see the extent of Aiolos' capabilities. The elemental master would have no trouble overriding Aiolos' own spells and extinguishing any nightmare he could create with his knowledge of magic.
Nurano made a noise of disapproval in his throat, a small growl. Nafel began to speak. "Oh, I just know him from a meeting a while back. He was sitting out here and taught me a spell. The Thyba spell, to repel things. I sent a book flying over that tree." She pointed, with a small smile. Nurano took his turn for introductions. "I don't know him, but I'm Nafel's friend. How, praytell, do you know him, I'd love to hear." His voice dripped sarcasm on the last part, as his day had not been a pleasant one. Noticing the raincloud, he stared admiringly. He was still and apprentince in Elemental Magic, and not a very good one at that. His only talents were picking locks. OOC: Senile! w00t! We move into our new house today!
\\ OOC: Congrats! \\ IC Kujai nods at Nafel, but before she could reply, Nurano's voice had cut through. Her eyes widening and narrowing, then slowly -and forcefully- returning to normal. Mood swing, again. She took his sarcasm as personally cutting, and assumed it was because of her extra limbs - that's what everyone was weird around, wasn't it? Thought her a freak, did they? She would've had.. fun.. teaching this scamp some manners, but then, this nice one, Nafel as near, and more so, she'd promised Aio she'd behave for him. So attacking someone was off limits. Pity. "I happen to know him from several seasons back where we rather.. ran into one another." Remembering the day she'd tried to kill him, and hadn't quite suceeded. That was fun.. "We are now together. And despite what others may think, quite dysfunctionally happy." A raised eyebrow is produced in Nurano's direction, daring him to say otherwise, most likely. She always was a taunt; she loved to fight. Without another malicious thought, Kujai's mood swings once again and she returns a softer gaze to Nafel, "Aye, I think he's mentioned you, before. He was amazed at how fast some young adult picked up the spells he told her, when he himself had a little trouble in the beginning, as well as the majority of his classmates, at your age." She grins, "I think you should be proud of that; though Aio'll never tell you himself, getting a compliment out of him is about as hard as getting diamonds out of trees." she smirks at the thought. - ~ - Upon signal the cloud is released, and a great booming ensues as a large train of lightning strikes erupts. This as the tricky part; having the lightning strike where told. He had to built the positive and negative ions in the air from the cloud to one point - once the cloud's electricity found the easiest route to the ground (the one he was making) it would explode from the cloud and shoot downward. All in all, Aio's mark hit where intended 98% of the time. Not bad at all in showing control. Then, the cloud reverses it's path of growth; from black, to grey, to white, to dissipating. Now he was to use earth magic. He pauses a moment to catch his breath, and turns back for the instruction.
OOC: Ooooh, tension. Heh. Yeah, I'm at the library now, since the movers are moving in all ours stuff. I got Les Miserables from the library! *dances* It's... 1462 pages long. This should be fun. Out of curiosity, what college are you applying to? I read that they lost your applications on your website. BIC: Nurano spoke yet again, for he had not ment to anger her. "I spoke simply in defence of my friend. I had heard that you could be violent at times... I appologize." He smiled for his words were sincere, all the information he had heard about her was less then reassuring. Nafel nodded in agreement. "He's sometimes... overprotective." she smiled, for Nurano rarely left her side, save to go to classes. "You and Aiolos are happy? That is good, I had never met a 'Dragon with such a strong temper. It's nice to see a him happy." She chuckled quietly to herself. "So... what are your trades? Mine are Creating Music, apprentince, and Elemental Magic, Basic."
\\ OOC: hehe, she's nutty, this Kujai! Psycho. Can't wait for her kid!! Â Â *grins* Yup, they liked losing my stuff, or not logging it in. >_< Â Finally got everything done, though. Applied to both KSU and SPSU (Kennesaw State University, and Southern Polytechnic University) Registered at Kennesaw State today! Woohoo! They've closed out their applications for the year due to the enormous influx, it's amazing. *will post a thread in the OOC board, as she feels the need to babble* \\ IC Kujai grins, a little smugly, ahh, so rumors had already floated fast around the campus.. well, best they know her temperment before risking an argument with her, hm? She nods, bowing her head to Nurano, "Well then, I can't fault you, as I can't say I wouldn't have done the same, had I been in your place, and knowing my opponent as well as everyone seems to know me.." she grins at that last thought. It truly tickled her that 'dragons were already whispering in corners about her, and she hadn't been around Janardan more than a quarter of a season! In answer to Nafel, Kujai smiles, "Yes, quite happy. And I agree, not many are that hard-headed, excepting myself, of course." Kujai takes a moment to pause and think, wondering if she should tell this young one about her trades.. if she didn't, more rumors and gossip would go flying, but if she did, two-fold rumors would take flight.. She chose on the side of erring by telling, rather than not. "I am a rogue by main trade, and dark sorcery by secondary, though I treat them both as first, because they are the skills that've kept me alive." She glances at Nurano, and raises a paw, "And, no, you needn't shuffle your friend off into the sunset upon learning that, I promised Aiolos I would behave. And that included not snapping while on campus grounds, and I would think the unwritten clause would state under no circumstances attacking any potential students of his." she leaves that hanging, if they were interested they would inquire, if not the conversation would move elsewhere. She grins, "And besides, I'd never do anything to bring the entire wrath Aio's got in him on my head, simply because it's too much of a hassle to fight him off." - ~ - At that moment, the ground beneath Aiolos begins to shake as he calls an earthquake spell. This was a full blown one - he was showing off. In his showing off, he was keeping it centered around him; and apparently not too deep - for he'd certainly disrupt any of underground Janardan classes if the room suddenly split apart and dirt showered in. Apparently this show impressed, or maybe even frightened the examiner, because the elemental master calls it off moments after it had begun. Not even that winded, Aiolos halts, and looks stioicly towards the examiner, awaiting his final instructions. Under normal circumstances, he would've been gleaming smugly, but Kujai's words had struck him; and he would refrain from being arrogant.. for an hour or two, at least..
OOC: Congrats on getting into college! IC: Nurano grinned. "Well, now I know your trades, I'm inclined not to carry Nafel off. I'm a Spy, primary, Elemental Magic, secondary. But, my parents both had trades in the same set of... less than celebrated professions. Glad to meet a fellow 'Dragon with my type of mind set. I had an uncle who was a rogue... Forgot his name. Perfectly nice fellow. And don't worry, there are few rumors of you... yet. I tend to pick up information on most students, yourself included. Comes with the trade, you know." As he looked to Aiolos he noticed the earthquake. He widened his eyes, for he had only seen a handful of 'Dragons that were able to pull of that little trick. Nafel glanced at Aiolos before speaking. "The 'Dragons in the looked down upon trades are often better friends then those who think their trades better then a mere Music Maker or a Spy. Ah well, doesn't matter. So... how long have you been here?"
\\ OOC: Thankee! I'm so happy it's all over. (LOL, I say that, and technically, it hasn't even begun! mwa. But from here on out, I'll be able to register at priority registration, so I'll have no problem whatsoever getting the classes and times desired) \\ IC Kujai grins, opinions changed on this young adult, "Always a pleasure to meet a fellow degenerate! The high class is too snobbish for my road, thus normal and even underground life is much more to my liking. A little cuthroat, but high class seems ten times much so." she winks. The earth quake catches her attention and she grins in Aio's direction, muttering mostly to herself, "Show off." Turning back to Nurano and Nafel, Kujai continues to answer his question, "The past season, on the outskirts, and actually setting foot on the grounds; only the past quarter of this season. I have no further reason to train, so I'm here more as moral support." a pause, and the female gets a giddy and equally devious grin upon her features, "Though.. I enjoy being more of a hindrance than actually doing any supporting.." At that moment, the six-legged pendragon turns to look in the direction of Aio and the master, and see Aiolos trotting towards them. Nodding his head he greets them, "Good morning Nafel," to Nafel, "and whomever you might be." to Nurano. He looks at Kujai and begins speaking to the three of them, "The final part of the test is seeing how long I can keep certain magical spells going on multiple targets. Would any of you like to volunteer?" Kujai rasies an eyebrow, "Setting someone on fire, again, are you?" With a bored expression at Kujai's teasing, Aiolos shkes his head, "Hardly. I'll make one of you suspended in mid air, another with flames circled around you, another with dancing vines around you, and myself, invisible, just for fun. None of you will even be touched by the spells, and they'll hardly blow up in your faces." Chuckling, Kujai nods, "Alright, you've convinced me. If Nurano and Nafel also volunteer, they can choose what is to happen to them, I'll endure the left over spell."
Nafel grinned. "Sounds fun!" she chirped. Nurano's eyes glittered, laughing to himself. "I'm Nurano, Nafel's friend. Apprentince Spy. Nice to finally meet you, after seeing your spells. Being a volunteer for this sounds fun, so I might as well join. Plus, it'll make for an interesting story, I suspect." He smiled, nodding his head. "Good job on the test so far, I enjoyed the controlled earthquake. I must know how you learned it, I don't think they'd teach it here. To much chance of a bored student cracking a floor or sommat." Nafel yawned slightly, and blinked. "Can I be the one that gets put in midair? My feet hurt." She shifted from paw to paw, she'd been standing for a while.
\\ OOC: For this part, I'll have to powerplay a bit, as she's levatating, but besides that, free to move her arms and stuff, just not around. \\ IC Aiolos inclines his head to Nurano, "Thank you for your compliment. I'll be glad to show you how to conjur an earthquake, we'll just have to meet outside Janardan, as accidents do happen, and there won't be any safe place should either of us damage the underground school." he smirks. Then, Aiolos nods to Nafel, "Certainly." he faces the palm of his paw at her, "Labesuseym." then turns the palm skyward, and raises his hand, lifting her up. This was a more complicated spell, as you were controlling the air around an object. When that object was living, you couldn't deprive the entire thing of oxygen, so he skillfully only controls the air around certain parts; upper body, and lower body. Her middle, limbs, and neck up were all free, so she could swing her limbs, and breathe without feeling constricted. Keeping an eye on her, as that was required for his version of this spell, he begins to move her across the air, over their heads, heading back in the direction where Master Kilesh was waiting, and he walks along behind, following her floating form. Kujai chuckles as she watches Nafel float away, and also follows. Six limbs apparently did not harm the fluidity of her gait, and rather, seemed to help her balance some. While walking, she looks at Nurano, "So, would you like to dare the fire, or the plants?"
OOC: I saw Pirates of the Carrabian! And my basement flooded! Unrelated, but still... Lol. The powerplay is fine, it's just her levitating, which is kind've necessary. IC: Nafel gasped as she was lifted up. "Whee! This is fun!" She giggled and waved her arms, like a small child on a theme park ride. Nurano turned to Kujai. "Well, either is fine with me, but I think I'd prefer the fire. I'm not overly fond of plants." He turned to Aiolos, raising his voice. "I know a place where we can practice, tell you later!" He then turned to watch Nafel swirling in air.
\\ OOC: Ooooh, lucky! I really want to see that. I saw previews of it when I saw Bruce Almighty a week ago. (Annnnd.. it doesn't hurt that a certain actor of my favorite blonde elf is in it..) *evil grin* \\ IC Aiolos nods, almost imperceptibly. He couldn't risk dropping the poor girl, as she was at least a pendragon's length in the air. Not high, but enough if she dropped, she'd recieve a nasty bruise, and have to see the school healer. Besides hurting her, it wouldn't look good on his test. "Nurano, Kujai, please sit somewhere in front of me, I need to be able to know where you are by using my peripheral vision, rather than directly looking at you." Kujai nods and trot forward, to sit at one point of a rather would-be narrow triangle, mapped out with Aio as the peak, and her one of the bases; putting herself in direct view. "Nurano says he prefers the fire, and I'l take the wiggling vines." Kujai speaks up, smirking mirthfully a bit. Something about vines shooting up from the ground to dance around her seemed funny. Master Kilesh decided to speak with the floating subject, while Aio waited for Nurano and Kujai to be perfectly ready, "You, miss, how do you feel?" He wasn't about to ask any more, for he wouldn't ut words in her mouth, and he had to know of how Aiolos's spell was affecting her, if any, to properly grade him.
OOC: LoTR Fan-girl! That's why I saw it too. He's a better actor then Elijah Wood. He's really good in it, but Johnny Depp steals the show! He's hillarious. IC: Nurano moves about 7 ft. from Kujai and looks at the master as he speaks. Nafel shouts in reply. "I feel fine. This is fun, actually! I can move everything but where I'm suspended. I can move and breathe, though." Nurano looks to Kujai. "I remember you said something about him teaching. Is he considering a position here? I think he'd be good. Nafel certainly has a grasp of the spell he tought her." He keeps his voice to a wisper, so as not to distract Aiolos.
\\ OOC: Woo! Go LoTR!! I can't wait to see the third movie, this december. *runs in circles chanting* Must see it.. must see it.. I read the books something around a month before the first one came out, because I had tried reading the prequel (The Hobbit) years before, but was so bored, I put it down after a few chapters. The books dragged, and there's practically no romance. (he mentions Aragorn and Arwen, of course, but nothing frilly or fun. All that's pure movie-scope. ) Glad I read the books, though, 'cause I had all the background info needed to understand the plot. Harry Potter's the same way. Love HP. Mwaha. The next movie is coming out next summer! *bounces* I can't wait for the fifth book to be made a movie. THAT will be a good one. *nods* \\ IC Kilesh seems satisfied by her answer, and nods, sitting down to watch. Kujai looks at Nurano and grins lop-sidedly, "Teach? I'd wager on it. But here or anywhere else? Highly doubt it." she opens her mouth to continue, but Aiolos had manuevered a paw and tens of vines break from the earth in an oval around Kujai's sitting figure, waving like living snakes, independent of any wind's breath. This also happens to interrupt Kujai. A tad miffed at having been cut off in mid-thought, Kujai telepaths to Nurano instead, {Aio's a bit too jaded to do any classic form of teaching, and doling out ranks. This, today, is more of a formality on his part, in an attempt to gain an iota of respect. After this, he'll probably only visit Janardan to see his younger sister. But private lessons to intelligent 'dragons is certainly not off the mark.} she chuckles, mentally, as well as vocally. The third bit, Aiolos causes a ring of flame to leap up around Nurano, three feet or so from him, and as an afterthought, adds a fourth spell to his collection, cooling the air inside the circle. Master Kilesh looks at Kujai first, but broadcasting his telepath, {And how are you?} {Quite dandy, thank you. Vines aren't even touching me.} She leaves out the part about her being irritated their appearance was not fore-warned. She didn't think that would be a positive note on Aio's test. Aiolos promptly disappears on that note. He was now juggling five spells at once time, and was quite yearning for a break, but he'd never admit that openly. He wanted to end his test with a flair. Kilesh, mildly surprised at Aiolos' disappearing, but at the obviously quality that Nafel hadn't moved, assumes neither had Aiolos. He then turns to where Nurano could barely be seen behind flickering orange and yellow flame, {Finally, you? How are you feeling?}
OOC: There is no romance, really, untill the 3rd book, and 'romance' takes up the last 3rd of it. I love the HP books, but I really hate the movies. LoTR rules, though. BIC: Nurano is unable to 'path very well, since he's not a female and it's not a skill that was ever taught to him. Instead of 'pathing back, he simply shouts to the master. "Fine, actually. He cooled the air!" Nafel is still floating, and then leans her head over to where Nurano is, but about 10 feet up. {Fun, ne?} she 'paths to him, grinning. Then, she 'paths to Kujai. {Is this the last part? This is fun and all, but I'd like to be able to move my legs, and wings. He didn't allow me to fly, for fear of disrupting the spell, I think.} She smiles and yawns, her jaws stretching wide.
\\ OOC: I loved the second movie, it was just wonderful. And because I'm an Arwen/Aragorn shipper, I kept chanting warding off the advances of Eowyn. *snickers* \\ IC Kilesh nods, and turns to Aiolos. Or rather, where Aiolos was last seen; "Alright, let them down, please. One at a time, if you have the control for it." Aiolos, still invisible furrows his brow at the master's words, though not taking his eyes off Nafel. He would have, had he been a bit more childish, stuck his tongue out at him. First one down is Nafel. Gently lowering her, and turning her so all four limbs were pointed downward. Touching the ground, Aiolos dissipates the flame around Nurano, and the wiggling vines around Kujai sink back into the ground. The air temperature is returned to normal around Nurano as well, and taking one last long breath, and regaining a bit of composure after that wearying trial, returns visible. Kilesh nods his head again, "Very well done, Aiolos. I'll give you credit for your trials, and you are now a elemental magic journeyman." he looks in Yuli's direction, where the other master was quitely waiting, "When rested, Yuli will debate with you, and test your knowledge, your composure, and finally, see if you can swing her opinion to your side on the topic of her choice. Good luck." Kilesh inclines his head a third time and walks off, back toward the school. He had to file all the nessecary paperwork to get Aio's new rank confirmed. Aiolos nods back to him, and turns to the trio, breathing slowly and deeply. "That was oddly stressful, but worth it." He glances in Yuli's direction and mutters, "Doesn't look like the convincing type, does she?" Kujai snickers softly, but says nothing n response.
OOC: Emily s Arwen and Aragorn. Eowyn and Faramir are a cute couple, though. BIC: Nafel flexes her wings, flapping them up and down. "You never know... She's a master for a reason. Females are mind mages, and she might be able to sway your opinion. Do you know what you're going to debate about? Hopefully something interesting." Nurano nods. "I don't want to hear an hour of talk over... fertalizer or sommat. It's rather dull, if you know what I mean. Did you learn those spells in class? I can hardly picture any of the instructers telling their students how to levitate one another!"
\\ OOC: hehe, I know! They're just so adorable together. *le sigh* I'm also a Ron + Hermione shipper. They're also adorable. bwaha. \\ IC Aiolos nods, accepting Nafel's assesment, "Possibly." He looks at Kujai, "Keep an eye on her, love. Foul play isn't appreciated." This, of course, coming from one who would do whatever it took to get the desired result. Kujai grins, on the brink of being deviously malicious, and winks. At his raised eye she feigns innocence, "What? I'll be good..." Aiolos looks at Nurano and Nafel, and offers in simple explination, "She can do rather interesting things with her dark sorcery." Pausing, he then answers both Nurano and Nafel's statements, "I have no idea what we'll be debating. Hopefully a topic I'm concious of, and know something about." He continues, "Many of my spells were self-created and self-taught. The teachers here were never helpful on that account. Can't blame them; I wouldn't want my students trying to kill one another. So while all they'll teach is how to grow things, or light a camping fire, I learned more offensive, than defensive, spells. Ramathian was the key for me, once I figured out how to manipulate Fronima, and channel it through vocal spells." he looks at Kujai, "She rhymes." Kujai grins proudly, "They told me I should've been a poet, for the talent was in how I showed it. But by twisting the syllables for magical style, ended up giving me privacy by a mile!" It was true, her family didn't appreciate her dark trade, and all tended to stay at least a continent away. None of which mattered to her anymore, she was highly self-sufficient! Aiolos chuckles, and starts walking off towards the patiently waiting Yuli.
OOC: Maybe R and H, but what scares me is the H/D slash. *shudder* HP slash shouldn't exist! Only LoTR Slash, dengit! BIC: Nafel says only in reply: "Lacing words with tune and force/ Is my major trade, but of course./ But my secondary trade, though few have heard/ Involves lacing my songs with more than words." She grins. "I can convince audiences to... er... change their opinions with song. Also self learned, though due in no part to references of unuasually talanted Bards in the past. Nurano chuckles. "All's fair in love and war. Speaking of words... does everybody here operate spells with something verbal? I find it useful to use color magic. Saying a spell, however simple, during a hired Spy job allows you to be heard and... disposed of. Not fun." Several birds caw as Nafel sweeps her wings, the black feathers confusing them. She steps aside, bumping into Nurano, how moves so that he's slightly further to the left.
